적정기술기반 공학설계에서 디자인 사고의 적용을 위한 대학생들의 설계활동 분석 (An Analysis of the Design Activities in Appropriate Technology based Engineering Design in order to utilize the Concept of Design Thinking)

  • The concept of the design thinking can be effective in engineering design process especially in developing the appropriate technology product. In this paper we analyze the student's design activities during the 'Creative and Integrated Design Academy for the other 90%' to solve the problems in the developing countries from the perspective of the design thinking. Based on this analysis we propose the direction of the creative and integrated design activities to solve the appropriate technology products and also the direction of the future engineering design process.

  • Comparing to the other subject, hierarchy among mathematical contents is strong from the perspective of knowledge order as grades go up. That is, the knowledge that students already have learned, are learning and will learn are closed related from grade to grade. We expect students to be proactive and creative in studying mathematics, which is the goal of 21th century, analyzing their. knowledge structure based on the hierarchy of knowledge through assessment. Especially, using computer system we provide students with substantial feedback for the assessment as well as objective validity is increased along with speedy and exact process in a bid to help students' mathematical understanding grow. This paper seeks to analyze the assessment data by applying knowledge spaces to computer system and develops efficient methods based on the analyzed results, to diagram each student's knowledge structure.

  • SPH is the shorthand for Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics. This method is a Lagrangian method which means that it involves following the motion of elements of fluid. These elements have the characteristics of particles and the method is called a particle method. A useful review of SPH (Monaghan 1992) gives the basic technique and how it can be applied to numerous problems relevant to astrophysics. In today's lecture I plan to approach the equations from a different perspective by using a variational principle.

Discourse Socialization in Synchronous Computer-Mediated Communication

  • This paper, based on a qualitative ethnographic study among college of education students, examines the online interactional processes surrounding academic discourse socialization. Data for this paper come from a larger study of an academic classroom community of graduate students and their instructor. In this study, I looked into the ways computer-mediated communication (CMC) contexts factor into graduate students' academic literacy experience in a graduate classroom, therein enculturating them into their new academic community. I focus on cases of nonnative graduate students in a content course in the department of educational psychology at a large southwestern university in the U.S. I explore the agency of the focal participants in terms of the roles they played in the classroom discourse highlighting the dialectical and interactional perspective of academic discourse socialization. This paper focused on the construction of varied participant roles of the focal students. It further examines student reactions and responses to these constructions during synchronous CMC activity.

대학생의 도박행동: 자기통제력의 매개효과 및 다집단 분석 (College Students' Gambling Behavior: Mediating Effect of Self-Control and Multiple Group Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 도박행동과 관련된 선행연구와 문헌고찰을 토대로 가설적 모형을 구축하고 검정함으로써, 예방적 차원에서 학교 및 지역사회 정신보건 실무에 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 대학생의 도박행동과 관련된 선행요인으로는 인지적 요인, 심리적 요인, 사회적 요인 그리고 자기통제력을 포함시켰다. 인지적 요인(비합리적 도박신념), 심리적 요인(우울, 불안), 사회적 요인(부모의 감독, 부모의 지지, 친구의 지지)은 외생변수로, 자기통제력과 도박행동(도박경험, 도박수준)은 내생변수로 하여 가설적 모형을 구성하였다. 또한 성별, 음주, 흡연, 인터넷 사용시간, 스마트폰 사용시간, 친구의 도박행동, 가족의 도박행동을 조절변수로 설정하여 그 효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 표적모집단은 국내의 대학생이며, 근접 모집단은 1개 광역도시와 4개의 지역도시에 소재한 7개 대학교에 재학 중인 남, 여 대학생 246명이다. 자료수집은 2016년 1월 25일부터 3월 31일까지 이루어졌으며, 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 20.0 Program을 이용하여 공분산 구조분석을 실시하였다. 대학생의 도박행동을 예측하는 여러 요인들 중에서 자기통제력의 효과가 가장 크고, 예측된 모든 변수들에 대한 자기통제력의 매개효과가 나타났다. 따라서 대학생의 도박행동을 예방하기 위한 중재 개발 시 자기통제력을 증진시키는 방안을 우선적으로 고려할 것과 개인의 인지적, 심리적 요인과 사회적 요인들을 개선시킴으로써 자기통제력을 증진시키는 방안이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 성별을 고려한 접근 및 가족이나 친구를 포함하는 집단상담 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것으로 본다.

아동기 아버지에 대한 애착, 성인기 자아존중감이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Child-Father Attachment and Self-Esteem in Adulthood on Adult Students' School Adjustment)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of attachment across an individual's lifespan. The present study investigated how father attachment in childhood influences adult student's school adjustment and explored the mediating effect of self-esteem between those two variables. Five hundred and twenty-nine adult students who were enrolled in S Cyber University were participants in this study. Subjects' ages ranged from 20-59. They were issued with a questionnaire addressing their present self-esteem level, attachment toward their father in childhood, and school adjustment. The results from SEM analysis indicated that adult students' self-esteem completely mediated between their attachment to their father in childhood and their school adjustment in adulthood. This result shows that a secure attachment to a father in childhood is related to child's own internal working model, and that positive self-esteem is related to social interactions including school adjustment.

대학생과 근로자의 부모교육 프로그램재발을 위한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Development of Parenting Education Programs for College Students and Adolescent Workers)

  • This research explored parenting education programs for be college students and adolescent workers, and it was focused on determining whether different parenting education programs were needed for college students and adolescent workers. The participants were 254 college students in Suncheon and 135 adolescent industrial workers in Ulsan. Data were gathered via questionnaires and two-way ANOVA analyses of parenting effectiveness by sex and social status(college student, versus adolescent industrial worker), and by age and social status were performed. There were no significant differences based on sex, age, or social status, and no interaction effect. However, there were significant differences in adolescents' parenting effectiveness depending on childhood parenting experiences, parenting knowledge, and parenting education program experience. Among the predictors(sex, age, social status, childhood parenting experience, parenting knowledge, and parent education experiences) adolescents' childhood parenting experiences was the strongest variable for predicting parenting effectiveness. In this regard, the results confirmed Bronfenbrenner's Ecological System's Theory that family influences children's belief systems about parenting effectiveness in the microsystem. Furthermore, the results indicate that a different parenting education program is not needed for college students and adolescent industrial workers, respectively; instead, a more comprehensive parenting education program for all adolescents - regardless of social status is needed. And based on the present study's results, the importance of child development knowledge, and parent-child relationships in parenting education programs was also confirmed. From a broader social perspective, all adolescents are encouraged to participate in parenting education programs.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정보영재학생들의 인지적인 특징을 비교하고 그를 통해 정보영재학생들의 판별과 관찰기준을 제시하며 나아가 적합한 교육과정을 개발하는 데 도움이 되고자 하는 데 있다. 이에 영재학생들의 지속적인 발전과 개발을 위한 기초정신능력이자, 다양한 정보를 수집하고 분석하며 종합하고 적용하는 등 학습능력의 바탕이 되는 '문제해결력'에 대한 연구를 통하여 앞으로 정보 분야의 영재교육이 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 "2012 PISA 컴퓨터 기반 문제해결력 평가틀을 검사도구로 사용하여 정보영재 학생들에게 특징적으로 나타나는 우수한 측면과 보완이 요구되는 특성을 분석함으로써 정보영재학생들을 위한 교육과정이 지향해야 할 목표에 대한 방향을 제시한다.

중학생의 희망 및 공감과 행복감과의 관계 (Relationships among Hope, Empathy and Happiness of Middle School Student)

  • 본 연구에서는 중학생의 희망 및 공감과 행복감 간의 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 중학교 2학년 남녀 학생 383명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WINDOWS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t검증, Pearson의 상관분석과 단계적 분석방법을 이용한 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다, 첫째, 중학생의 행복감은 희망과 공감 수준에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 즉 희망 및 공감 수준이 높은 중학생이 희망과 공감 수준이 낮은 중학생보다 높은 행복감을 나타냈다. 둘째, 중학생의 행복감은 희망 및 공감과 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 셋째, 주도사고, 공감적 관심, 관점취하기가 중학생의 행복감을 설명하는 유의한 예측변인이었다. 본 연구결과는 중학생의 행복감을 증진시키기 위해 개인의 긍정적인 내적 변인인 희망과 공감 수준을 높이기 위한 방안을 고려해야 함을 시사하고 있다.

대학생의 질문저해요인과 비판적 사고성향 및 문제해결능력 (The Relationship among Hesitation Factor of Questions, Critical Thinking Disposition, and Problem Solving: The University Student's Perspective)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship among hesitation factor of questions, critical thinking disposition, and problem solving. Methods: Data were collected from 370 students at a university in D city using a structured questionnaire from April 1 to April 15, 2015. It was analyzed with frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. Results: Subjects scored an average of $2.62{\pm}.52$ for hesitation factor of questions, $3.53{\pm}0.42$ for critical thinking disposition, and $3.44{\pm}0.44$ for problem solving. There were significant differences in the three variables according to satisfaction with major, self-expression, and interpersonal relationships. In addition, hesitation factor of questions exhibited a significant difference between genders. Hesitation factor of questions had a negative relationship with critical thinking disposition (r=-.23, p<.001) and with problem solving (r=-.34, p<.001). In addition, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between critical thinking disposition and problem solving (r=.69, p<.001). Conclusion: In order to improve critical thinking disposition and problem solving, we need to generate a lot of questions to the student's inside. We also need to develop appropriate teaching methods so that this can be expressed by the actual question coming from the control hesitation factor of questions.
