  • Recently, the use of Robot increase little by little for the purpose of developing a welding quality and productivity in the arc welding part. It is more important to contact the seam for arc welding before moving a welding robot. There are two types of method to contact the seam namely contact and noncontact type largely In this paper, image processing sensor(a kind of non-contact sensor) is concerned to track the seam by using laser diode and CCD camera. A structured laser diode's light illuminated on the weld groove and the reflected shape is introduced by CCD camera. The image board captures this image and software analyzes this image. The robot is moved and welded exactly as acquired image X-Y data is changed with robot's X-Y value. Also, most of seam tracking are considered by changing the program simply in case of the different weld prove of plane surface.

  • The development of modern industry and the production of new materials of architecture have recognized as an important aspect. This study intended to discuss about the meaning of main elements of the architecture materials, its implications for properties, and, highlighted meaning of the properties of modern interior design. The purpose of this study is to analyze the case studies of Place and Physical materials of synaesthesia of modern architecture as well as modern architecture is not only concentrated in the visual aspect but also the larger ramifications of sensory. Synesthesia in architectural space can be called experiential existence that built in the space of human perception and based on the human emotion that targeted by physical architectural space. Accordingly, these case studies are to consider about how the materials being passed by any effect in a modern interior space presented, In order to find the essential meaning in modern interior space, this studies focused on Swiss architect Peter Zumthor's cases. Following analyze of Peter Zumthor's place of architectural space and materials, this study structured by the six kinds of synesthesia characters. First, time and remember to infer changes, Second, traditional and regional ingredients involve the substitution of one empirical space, Third, non-materiality through the neutralization, Fourth, auditory memory through the embodiment of everydayness, Fifth, trail through the sense of smell for the presence, Sixth, the relationship of natural and industrial products. Peter Zumthor's characteristics of these works are result of factors on the synesthetic relationship with the human response to architecture, the five senses, memories, experiences, and temperature. • A depth image-based rendering (DIBR) technique is one of the rendering processes of virtual views with a color image and the corresponding depth map. The most important issue of DIBR is that the virtual view has no information at newly exposed areas, so called dis-occlusion. In this paper, we propose an intermediate view generation algorithm using the Kinect depth camera that utilizes the infrared structured light. After we capture a color image and its corresponding depth map, we pre-process the depth map. The pre-processed depth map is warped to the virtual viewpoint and filtered by median filtering to reduce the truncation error. Then, the color image is back-projected to the virtual viewpoint using the warped depth map. In order to fill out the remaining holes caused by dis-occlusion, we perform a background-based image in-painting operation. Finally, we obtain the synthesized image without any dis-occlusion. From experimental results, we have shown that the proposed algorithm generated very natural images in real-time.

  • When the current flows to parallel lines with different length, it is researched that the radiation is occured by the common-mode current radiates, and the small light weight antenna composed of dual elements by using the principle is proposed. However, there is a problem in production about this antenna because this liner antenna is structured by combining with wires. In this paper, we improved this liner antenna, and designed the plane antenna composed of dual elements with different length in the plane printed board to produce and to design easily. Furthermore, the antenna with the wide-band characteristic is also designed in the same board. The radiation pattern is similar to the dipole antenna on account of designing the triangular patch S, the notch and two tapers in patch S, the notch and two tapers in the antenna element. In result, it was able to design the antenna working wider band-width(the bandwidth ratio about 58%, $VSWR{\le}2$).

  • The purpose of this study is to shed light on the effect of work-family conflict on organizational effectiveness, focusing on the moderating effect of organizational support among married working women of health services organizations. Data were collected from 149 married working women of health services organizations located in Busan Metropolitan areas by structured self-administered questionnaire. Main results of this study is as the following: First, based on the type of work-household conflicts, namely time-based conflict(2.82 points), strain-based conflict(2.81 points) and behavior-based conflict(2.69 points), working women mainly experienced time and strain-based conflicts. The level of work-household conflicts was significantly higher among younger groups, highly educated, nurses, and regular workers. Second, the perceived organizational effectiveness found to be an above-average. Especially scores were high in the subcategories of customer orientation(3.84), followed by organizational commitment (3.42) and job satisfaction(3.19). The level of organizational effectiveness was significantly higher among older groups, medical technician and administrative job holders, day-time workers, and higher income groups. Third, the results of the regression analysis on the effects of work-household conflicts on organizational effectiveness showed that strain-based conflicts have a significant negative effect on organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Fourth, organizational support found to have a strong controlling effect for strain-based conflicts on organizational effectiveness. Above results imply that practical family-supportive policies for lessening the work-household conflicts is crucial for enhancing organizational effectiveness in health services organization.

  • A collision between a barge and an oil tanker of Hebei Spirit caused the release of an estimated 12,547 tons of light crude oil into the Yellow Sea off the west coast of Taean-gun, Korea on December 7, 2007. This study was aimed to evaluate exposure conditions and acute health effects in soldiers participating in the Hebei Spirit oil spill cleanup activities and the association between these and the nature of the work and use of protection devices. The sample comprised 2,624 soldiers stratified by working area and number of working days. We divided working area into the coast of Taean-gun(highly polluted area) and other areas affected by Hebei Spirit oil spill. And we divided number of working days into 1-7 days, 8-14 days, 15-21 days and above 22 days. Data were obtained via a structured, self-administered questionnaire and included information on working area, type of working, number of working days, use of protective materials, and acute health effects. Acute health effects were classified into 5 groups: neurological, respiratory, dermatologic, ophthalmic and other symptoms. Data analysis was performed using unconditional logistic regression used to compute odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals. On logistic regression analysis, working on the coast of Taean-gun was significantly associated with increased risk of acute health problems: headache, dizziness, nausea, general fatigue, insomnia, flushed face, sore throat, dry throat, runny nose, cough, sputum, skin irritation, sore eyes, injection of conjunctiva, tear, and low back pain. Furthermore soldiers working more than 21 days were significantly associated with increased risk of acute health problems: insomnia, flushed face, sore throat, runny nose, cough, sputum, tear, low back pain and fever. Accordingly, the exposure to the oil and the subsequent cleanup efforts were suggested to inflict acute health problems on soldiers participating in the Hebei Spirit oil spill cleanup activities.

  • We propose a 3D modeling method for surface inspection of non-constant velocity moving object. 1'lie laser lines reflect tile surface curvature. We can acquire 3D surface information by analyzing projected laser lines on object. In this paper, we use multi-line laser to improve the single stripe method and high speed of single frame. Binarization and edge extraction of frame image were proposed for robust laser each line extraction. A new labeling method was used for laser line labeling. We acquired some feature points for image matching from the frame data and juxtaposed the frames data to obtain a 3D shape image. We verified the superiority of proposed method by applying it to inspect container's damages.

  • Objectives: To understand the personal experiences of mine workers that have experienced job relocation due to silicosis at the Andina Division of Corporaci$\acute{o}$n Nacional del Cobre (CODELCO), Chile. The purpose of the study was to provide useful information for the development of new local, business and public policies for the care of workers with silicosis. Methods: A qualitative study based on a practical case study of 5 workers. The information was collected by means of structured individual interviews. The method of analysis was phenomenology. Results: The corporal axis was the most commented upon. It included awareness of the illness, body pains, fatigue, and antagonistic mood disorders (sadness, or the difficulty in finding meaning in life). As far as personal relationships, there was evidence of strong relationships with family, coworkers and friends, as well as extended family. Over all, the experience of relocation was positive with periods of impatience and uncertainty. The job reassignment provided a new and pleasant context for the relocated workers and in the process improved their perception of their quality of life. Conclusions: A multidisciplinary team should attend mine workers relocated because of silicosis by addressing the mental and physical aspects of their disease, along with the integral participation of close family members. It is suggested that this investigation be maintain over time to record the personal experiences in the medium-term, adding new cases with the intention of shedding more light on the phenomenon being studied. As a preventive measure, continual workshops are needed on the proper use of respiratory protection in addition, a group of monitors is required.

  • In this paper, we propose a new method to infiltrate $Fe_3O_4$-nanoparticles into a porous silicon film and a monitoring technique to detect packing density of nanoparticles within the film. Recently, research to use porous silicon as a drug carrier or a new functional sensor material by infiltrating $Fe_3O_4$-nanoparticles has been extensively performed. However, it is still necessary to enhance the packing density and to develop a monitoring technique to detect the packing density in real time. In this light, we forcibly injected a nanoparticle solution into a rugate-structured free-standing porous silicon (FPS) film by applying a pressure difference between the two sides of the film. We found that the packing density by the pressure-infiltration method proposed in this paper is enhanced, relative to that by the previous diffusion method. Moreover, a continuous shift in wavelength of the rugate reflectance peak measured from the film surface was observed while the nanoparticle solution was being injected. By exploiting this phenomenon, we could qualitatively monitor the packing density of $Fe_3O_4$-nanoparticles within the FPS film with the injection volume of the nanoparticle solution.

  • Inner Structured and Bonded(ISB) panel, a kind of metallic sandwich panel, consists of two thin skin plates bonded to a micro-patterned inner structure. Its overall thickness is $1\~3mm$and it has attractive properties such as ultra-lightweight, high efficiency in stiffness-to-weight and strength-to-weight ratio. In many previous studies, resistance welding, brazing and adhesive bonding are studied for joining the panel. However these methods did not consider productivity, but focused on structural characteristics of joined panels, so that the joining process is very complicated and expensive. In this paper, a new joining process with resistance welding is developed. Curved surface electrodes are used to consider the productivity and the stopper is used between electrodes during welding time to maintain the shape of inner structure. Welding time, gap of electrodes and distance between welding points are selected as the process parameters. By measuring the tensile load with respect to the variation of welding time and gap of electrodes, proper welding conditions are studied. Welding time is proper between 1.5-2.5cycle. If welding time is too long, then inner structures are damaged by overheating. Gap of electrode should be shorter than threshold value fur joint strength, when total thickness of inner structure and skin plate is 3.3mm, the threshold distance is 3.0mm.
