Slewing maneuver control of flexible space structure using adaptive CGT

  • This paper concerns an adaptive control scheme which is an extension of the simplified adaptive control. Originally, the SAC approach was developed based on the command generator tracker (CGT) theory for perfect model tracking. An attractive point of the SAC is that a control input can be synthesized without any prior knowledge about plant structure. However, a feedforward dynamic compensator of the CGT is removed from the basic structure of the SAC. This deletion of the compensator makes perfect model tracking difficult against even a step input. In this paper, an adaptive control system is redesigned to achieve perfect model tracking for as long as possible by reviving the dynamic compensator of the CGT. The proposed method is applied to slewing control of a flexible space structure and compared to the SAC responses.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface with almost contact metric structure (��, ξ, ��, g) in a nonflat complex space form Mn(c). We denote S and Rξ by the Ricci tensor of M and by the structure Jacobi operator with respect to the vector field ξ respectively. In this paper, we prove that M is a Hopf hypersurface of type (A) in Mn(c) if it satisfies Rξ�� = ��Rξ and at the same time satisfies $({\nabla}_{{\phi}{\nabla}_{\xi}{\xi}}R_{\xi}){\xi}=0$ or Rξ��S = S��Rξ.

  • 쎄트렉아이에서 개발 한 SpaceEye-1 위성의 구조체는 가혹한 발사 및 궤도 환경에서 다양한 지구 관측 임무를 수행하도록 설계하였다. 본 논문은 SpaceEye-1 위성 개발과정 동안 수행한 구조설계와 해석의 방법론에 대해서 기술하였다. 위성 구조체는 발사환경 하에서 정/동적 하중을 견딜 수 있게 설계하였을 뿐 만 아니라 주 탑재체와 부분체를 보호하도록 설계하였다. 구조 설계 요구사항은 개발 초기부터 발사체, 탑재체와 부분체의 요구사항으로 부터 도출되었다. 3차원 설계는 구조체의 기하학적 적합성을 확인하기 위해 이용되었고, 유한요소해석은 구조체가 발사체와 탑재체로부터 도출 된 기계적인 요구사항을 만족하는지 확인 하는데 적용하였다.

  • Working spaces in the construction site are much more complicated than completed spaces in the building. There are many researches focus on partition of building spaces. However, few discussed partition sequencing in building construction sites. Space syntax is a set of techniques for analyzing spatial configurations. It has become a useful tool in a variety of researches. Partition sequencing of working spaces should be related to the working direction. However, with convex space and axial line, the partition sequencing became unrelated to the working direction. When critical space is blocked, the partition sequencing with axial line will be changed. It is significant to reveal the impact of the entire spatial structure when some of the working spaces are blocked. This paper discussed the improved partition sequencing theory and highlighted the importance of critical space and analyzed the spatial structure of working space. A real case project was demonstrated in this paper.

노후 경사주거지 쇠퇴지표로서의 유휴공간 발생패턴 연구 (A Study on the Occurrence Pattern of Vacant Spaces as the Decline Index in Old Hillside Residential Area)

  • This study is about occurrence pattern of vacant spaces as a urban decline indicator to consider a decline of old hillside residential area from spatial structure perspective. For investigation based upon vacant space and the street structure, this study selects Ami Chojang-dong in Seo-gu, Busan, of which 79.7% of total area is over a gradient of $10^{\circ}$. Focused on relationship between occurrence pattern of vacant spaces and 'vertical alleys(link)' serving as main movement path of local residents in hillside residential area, the length, numbers, slopes, and use characteristic of vertical alleys were analyzed using Arc GIS 9.3 program to classify characteristic zone types of spacial structure in hillside residential area. After the occurrence pattern of vacant space are interpreted in relation with building density, vertical alleys' number length slope, the social and economic issues have been considered as well. After analyzing the occurrence pattern of vacant space, this study argues that the occurrence pattern of vacant space in old hillside residential area is rather affected by street structure system consisting of vertical alleys than the impacts of social economical issues.

  • Let M be a real hypersurface with almost contact metric structure $(\phi,\;\xi,\;\eta,\;g)$ in a nonflat complex space form $M_n(c)$. In this paper, we prove that if the structure Jacobi operator $R_\xi$ commutes with both the structure tensor $\phi$ and the Ricc tensor S, then M is a Hopf hypersurface in $M_n(c)$ provided that the mean curvature of M is constant or $g(S\xi,\;\xi)$ is constant.

배열기반 데이터 구조를 이용한 간략한 divide-and-conquer 삼각화 알고리즘 (A Compact Divide-and-conquer Algorithm for Delaunay Triangulation with an Array-based Data Structure)

  • Most divide-and-conquer implementations for Delaunay triangulation utilize quad-edge or winged-edge data structure since triangles are frequently deleted and created during the merge process. How-ever, the proposed divide-and-conquer algorithm utilizes the array based data structure that is much simpler than the quad-edge data structure and requires less memory allocation. The proposed algorithm has two important features. Firstly, the information of space partitioning is represented as a permutation vector sequence in a vertices array, thus no additional data is required for the space partitioning. The permutation vector represents adaptively divided regions in two dimensions. The two-dimensional partitioning of the space is more efficient than one-dimensional partitioning in the merge process. Secondly, there is no deletion of edge in merge process and thus no bookkeeping of complex intermediate state for topology change is necessary. The algorithm is described in a compact manner with the proposed data structures and operators so that it can be easily implemented with computational efficiency.

  • Let X be a compact metric space, B be a unital commutative Banach algebra and ${\alpha}{\in}(0,1]$. In this paper, we first define the vector-valued (B-valued) ${\alpha}$-Lipschitz operator algebra $Lip_{\alpha}$ (X, B) and then study its structure and characterize of its maximal ideal space.
