선진각국의 내화설계법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fire Resisting Construction Design in Advanced Nation)

  • In Our Country, the fire safety design is done by the standard furnace fire test. This is haphazard procedure, as the standard furnace fire endurance of structural elements has little relation to the structural element endurance in an actual Compartment fire. The standard furnace fire test results, though obtained at great cost, do not contribute to the understanding of the behavior of structural elements in an elevated temperature environment and can not be applied rationally in fire safety design. The response of a steel and reinforced concrete structure in fire is a very complex problem. Therefore, in this paper is explained about tendency of study for fire safety design in advanced nations.

플라스틱 하우스의 구조 실태의 조사 연구 (Investigation of Actural State of Plastic Greenhouse Structures in Korea)

  • The objective of this study was to disclose the problem of structural safety and the state of utilization of standard types of plastic film house through investigation of actural state of plastic greenhouses for the southern part of the Korean peninsula. And also, the application method of standard types were proposed. The results obtained are summarized as follows 1. Plastic film houses investigated were not designed by the structural design conditions of loads and materials. 2.The construction method of greenhouses was not standardized. 3.Single type of standard greenhouses was nearly used and double types were applied to the standard type. 4.The standard frames of plastic film house were appeared to have structural lack of stability at the design snow and wind loads for most regions. 5.Safety snow depths and safety wind velocities were proposed for the frame intervals and pipe diameters of standard greenhouses.

조립식 가설기자재의 완성품에 대한 안전인증 타당성 연구 (A Feasibility Study of Safety Cetification for Finished Product of Febricated Temporary)

  • Recently, the using of prefabricated temporary equipments is increasing in the industrial field because it can reduce the installation and dismantling period. The various types of prefabricated temporary equipments are manufacturing with various materials in domestic and overseas countries. However, those equipments should win the safety certificate according to the "Governmental Notification about Safety Certification" which regulate the member-based safety certification. It tends to cause over performance of temporary equipments because it couldn't consider structural benefit of the prefabricated products. As the result of this study, it is concluded that the establishment of new safety certification standard for the prefabricated temporary equipments is resonable and the movable scaffold is appropriate for those prefabricated temporary equipment. The movable scaffolds are using as single structure and cannot be expands horizontally. Other types of temporary equipments are using as complex structure which can freely expand horizontally according to the main structure. From the results of the study, the standard of vertical compression performance of prefabricated movable scaffolds should be more than double the performance of single main frame. Other test items of safety certification standard should be fixed when the Notification is amended. The prefabricated temporary equipments which are adopted for the safety standard on assembled structure should be used, moved and kept in assembled state and not separated discretionally. The establishment of new standard for the assembled structure based on this study leads to the development of various types of temporary equipments using structural efficiency of prefabricated structure.

낙하시험에 의한 폴리에틸렌 보트의 구조 안전성 평가 (Evaluation of Structural Safety of Polyethylene Boats by Drop Test Method)

  • 강선이나 강화플라스틱선 등의 선박 재료는 선박안전법에 규정된 규격재료를 사용하는 경우로서 판두께 측정시험이나 종굽힘강도시험을 통하여 제작 선체의 구조 안전성을 쉽게 확인할 수 있다. 한편, 염가의 폴리에틸렌 등과 같은 비규격재료를 선체 전장이 짧은 플레저 보트의 선체로 사용하는 경우 역학적 특성을 파악하기 쉬워 선체 설계를 수행하기에 매우 유리하고, 대량 생산 시스템을 갖추는 경우 제작 비용이 낮아 해당 제품의 가격 경쟁력을 가질 수 있다. 그러나 폴리에틸렌 선체의 경우 비규격재료를 사용함에 따라 기존의 소형선체에 대한 종굽힘강도시험을 이용하여 선체의 구조 안전성을 평가할 수 없다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 플레저 보트의 낙하시험 표준절차인 플레저 보트 검사 기준과 ISO 12215-5를 기초로 폴리에틸렌 선체에 대한 낙하시험을 수행한 후 이것을 기초로 정적구조해석을 수행하여 비규격재료로 개발된 선체의 구조 안전성을 확인함으로서 플레저 보트 검사 기준과 ISO 12215-5의 낙하시험방법이 선체 구조설계에 이용될 수 있음을 보였다.

엘리베이터 설치 작업용 시스템 비계의 구조 성능 평가 (Structural Performance Evaluation of System Scaffolding for Elevator Installation Work)

  • This study performed a structural performance evaluation of a system scaffolding for elevator installation work developed in previous studies. The structural performance was evaluated via a structural test conducted to apply the working load specified in the design standard. The deflection of the horizontal member and the stress of each member constituting the system scaffolding were measured. Consequently, the structural safety evaluation including structural behavior and required performance was performed using the deflection and stresses measured from the structural test. The structural test and safety evaluation results based on the heavy working load corresponding to the design load indicated that the deflection, which is the performance criterion of the horizontal member, did not exceed the allowable value. Further, each member's stress, which is a safety evaluation indicator, did not exceed the allowable strength for both horizontal and vertical members with bending behavior and fordable bracing with tensile behavior, while also satisfying the required safety factor. In addition, the results confirmed the safety against deformation, partial damage, and destruction owing to excessive and maximum load. Therefore, the system scaffolding developed in this study satisfies both the structural performance and safety required by the design standards; thus, it can be applied to elevator installation work sites.

구조적 속성과 어휘적 특징에 기반한 안전기준 고찰 (A Review of Safety Standards in Korea based on Structural Attributes and Lexical Characteristics)

  • 사회발달로 인해 안전기준이 세분화 전문화되면서 관련 법령 또한 그 수가 점차 증가하여 법령 내에서 중복 또는 상충의 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 우리나라 법령에 존재하는 모든 안전기준을 수집한 후 중복 또는 상충문제를 찾아내기 위해서는 우선 안전기준이 가지는 특성들을 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 모든 안전기준에서 나타나는 공통요소와 특정 안전기준에서만 나타나는 특이점을 추출하면서 안전기준의 특성을 크게 구조적, 어휘적 부분으로 구분하였다. 분석결과, 안전기준의 구조적 속성은 2가지, 어휘적 특징은 4가지로 도출되었다. 이러한 특성들이 안전기준을 관리할 향후 시스템에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 추가로 검토하였다. 본 연구를 기반으로 향후 더 많은 안전기준의 구조 및 어휘적 특성들이 축적된다면 효율적인 안전기준의 수집.분석 알고리즘 개발이 가능해져 결국 법령내 안전기준의 중복 상충 문제점 해소에 도움이 될 것이다.

동적 특성을 고려한 수소 튜브 트레일러의 구조 안전성 평가 (Evaluation of Structural Safety for Hydrogen Tube Trailer Considering Dynamic Property)

  • Recently, hydrogen energy has been widely used because of strict regulations on greenhouse gas emissions. For using the hydrogen energy, it is required to supply hydrogen through a tube trailer. However hydrogen tube trailer can have excessive load problems during transportation due to reasons such as road shape and driving method, which may lead a risk of hydrogen leakage. So it is necessary to secure a high level of safety. The purpose of this study is to evaluate structural safety for the conservative design of hydrogen tube trailer. First, finite element(FE) modeling of the designed hydrogen tube trailer was performed. After that, safety evaluation method was established through static structural simulation based on the standard GC207 conditions. In addition, effectiveness of the designed model was confirmed through the results of the structural safety evaluation. Finally, driving simulation was used to derive acceleration graph according to time, which was considered as a dynamic property for the evaluation of conservative tube trailer safety evaluation. And dynamic structural simulation was conducted as a condition for actual transportation of tube trailer by applying dynamic properties. As a results, conservative safety was evaluated through dynamic structural simulation and the safety of hydrogen tube trailer was confirmed through satisfaction of the safety rate.

산업용 표준의 압력시험 방법에 의한 고압 배관용 리테이너형 볼밸브의 구조해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Structural Analysis of High-Pressure Pipeline Retainer-Type Ball Valve by Pressure Testing of the Industrial Standard)

  • This study has been performed to evaluate the safety of the retainer-type ball valve for a high-pressure pipeline to a district heating plant. The retainer-type ball valve is an improved design for conventional ball valves, such as the floating ball valve and the trunnion ball valve. Numerical analysis of the valve design verification has been applied to investigate the safety factor and seat leakage of the DN300 and DN400 sizes. The given condition to solve the structural analysis was based on the international standard for ISO 5208. In this study, the methods for structural analysis are described in detail. The structural analysis results present the deformations, the equivalent stresses, and the safety factors. Through these results, this study successfully demonstrates the safety and seat leakage of the retainer-type ball valve. They also streamline the process of development for valve manufacturing.

반 잠수형 쌍동선에 설치된 수중관람용 관람창 설계 및 구조 안전성 평가 (Structural Safety Assessments for Viewing Window of Semi-Submersible Catamaran)

  • In the design process of ship or its comprising components, the key to the successful design is how to guarantee the structural safety satisfying the international standard and regulation, which sometimes is not clear enough to cover the detail designs. This study deals with the design procedure for submersible viewing window installed in catamaran. As the window material, the Plexiglass, a type of reinforced plastic, is considered to satisfy the design requirements of international standard. Window thickness is calculated using geometric nonlinear finite element analysis, in order to take into account possible large deformation due to low stiffness of the Plexiglass, and the results are compared with those determined by the procedure specified in ISO12216. Finally, for the validation of proposed design, the pressure test had been carried out following the procedure specified in the standard, and structural safety was checked.

  • The safety factors of current standard code are considered to be not appropriate compared to design and construction practices, even this safety factors are not determined from probabilistic study but merely from experiences and practices. This study pripose the optimum safety indices based on expected total cost minimization using only three parameters, which are the level of the failure cost to the initial cost by improvement in safety, and the order of the initial cost function.
