Structural Properties of BZCT Ceramics with Sintering Temperature (소결온도에 따른 BZCT 세라믹스의 구조적 특성)

  • $Ba(Zn_{1-x}Co_x)TaO_3$[BZCT] ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The ceramics were sintered at the temperature of $1450{\sim}1550^{\circ}C$ for 5hr. in air. The structural properties of the BZCT ceramics as a function of composition and sintering temperature were investigated by the XRD and SEM. The crystal structure of BZCT ceramics was investigated by the XRD. The microstructure of the specimens were observed by SEM. All the BZCT ceramics sintered above the $1550^{\circ}C$ were showed as a polycrystalline complex perovskite structure without second phases and any unreacted materials. The density of BZCT (70/30) specimen sintered at $1550^{\circ}C$ was $6.31g/cm^3$.

소결 온도에 따른 비납계 NKN-BNT-BT 세라믹의 전기적, 구조적 특성

  • In this study, both structural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the NKN-0.96BNT-0.04BT ceramics were investigated. All samples of the NKN-0.96BNT-0.04BT ceramics were fabricated by conventional mixed oxide method with Pt electrodes. We report the improved dielectric and piezoelectric properties in the perovskite structure composed of the NKN, BNT and the BT ceramics. We investigated the effects of NKN, BT on the structural and electrical properties of the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics. The dielectric properties and piezoelectric properties of the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics were superior to those of single composition NKN, NKN-BNT and those values for the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics were 861 and 1.12%.

  • Functional ceramics are widely utilized in a variety of application fields such as structural materials, sensors, energy devices, purification filter and etc due to their high strength, stability and chemical activity. With the breakthrough development of nanotechnology, many researchers have studied new types of nanomaterials including nanoparticle, nanorod, nanowire and nanoplate to realize high-performance ceramics. Especially several groups have focused on the 3D nanostructured ceramics because of their large surface area, efficient load transfer, ultra-fast ion diffusion and superior electrical (or thermal) conductivity. In this review, we introduce the reported fabrication strategies of the 3D nanostructured and functional ceramics, also summarized the 3D nanostructured ceramic based high-performance applications containing photocatalysts, structural materials, energy harvesting and storage devices.

  • The BaTiO$_3$+10wt%Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The structural and dielectric properties of the BaTiO$_3$+10wt%Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics with the sintering temperature were investigated. Increasing the sintering temperature, the 2$\theta$ value of BaTiO$_3$peaks were shifted to the higher degree and intensity of the BaTiO$_3$and BaNbO$_3$peaks were increased. In the BaTiO$_3$+10wt%Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics sintered at 135$0^{\circ}C$ and 1375$^{\circ}C$, the grain was fine and uniform. Increasing the sintering temperature, the pore was decreased and the dielectric constant was increased. In the BaTiO$_3$+10wt%Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics sintered at 1375$^{\circ}C$, the dielectric constant and dielectric loss were 5424, 0.02 respectively.ctively.

  • The 0.8Ba($Zn_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3$-0.2Ba($Co_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties of the 0.8BZT-0.2BCN ceramics with the sintering temperature were investigated by XRD and SEM. The 0.8BZT-0.2BCN ceramics had a superstructure reflection plane of (100), (200). Increasing the sintering temperature. the ordering parameter of B-site atoms were increased. The lattice constant of 0.8BZT-0.2BCN ceramics was 3.97${\AA}$. Increasing the sintering temperature, the average gram sizes were increased. In the case of the 0.8BZT-0.2BCN ceramics sintered at 1500$^{\circ}C$, the average grain size and bulk density were 1.56${\mu}m$, 6.93$g/cm^3$, respectively.

  • The BaTiO$_3$+xNb$_2$O$_{5}$[x=6,8 , 10wt%] ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties of the BaTiO$_3$+xNb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics with the sintering temperature and addition of Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ were investigated by XRD and SEM. Increasing the sintering temperature, the 2$\theta$ value of BT (110) peak was shifted to the lower degree and intensity of the BN (310) peak was increased. Increasing the addition of Nb$_2$O$_{5}$, the intensity of BN (100) Peak was decreased and BN (310), (110) peaks were increased. The grain size of the BaTiO$_3$+Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics sintered at 135$0^{\circ}C$ were almost uniform. In the BaTiO$_3$+Nb$_2$O$_{5}$ ceramics sintered at 135$0^{\circ}C$, the dielectric constant and dielectric loss were 5424, 0.02 respectively.espectively.

  • The Mg($_{1-x}$ )S $r_{x}$Ti $O_3$(x=0.1,0.2,0.3) ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties were investigated with calcining temperature and composition ratio by XRD and DT-TGA. Increasing the calcining temperature from 80$0^{\circ}C$ to 100$0^{\circ}C$, second phase was decreased and average particle size was increased. The SrTi $O_3$ ceramics of calcined at 100$0^{\circ}C$ had a structure of polycrystalline perovskite without the secondary phases. The average particle size of the $Mg_{0.9}$S $r_{0.1}$Ti $O_3$ ceramics calcined at 100$0^{\circ}C$ were 0.67${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$..>......

  • This study has focused on development of ELID monitoring system and its application to ELID grinding of structural ceramics. ELID monitoring system was consisted of grinding equipment, ELID power supply, grinding wheel, electrode and monitoring program. It can give a real time data to check spindle grinding resistance, wheel revolution, dressing current and voltage in ELID grinding process. The performance of developed system was evaluated by applying to grinding of structural ceramics, silicon carbide and alumina. As the results of experiments, monitored data for spindle resistance and ELID dressing current was useful to check steady-state ELID grinding process. From the comparison of spindle resistance between ELID grinding and conventional grinding process according to change of depth of cut, it could be confirmed that the spindle resistance in ELID grinding was lower than conventional grinding process.
