영가철 충진 복극전해조를 이용한 질산성질소 및 대장균의 연속식 제거 (Continuous Removal of Nitrate and Coliform using Bipolar ZVI Packed Bed Electrolytic Cell)

  • Nitrate is a common contaminant in industrial wastewater and ground water. The maximum contaminant level set by EPA for nitrate of 10 mg/L as N. In this study, nitrate was removed using bipolar ZVI packed bed electrolytic cell that maximized the contact area between each electrode and contaminants under 600 V. Also this study investigates the simultaneously deals with removal of ammonia by operating air stripping tower. In addition to the air stripping also helped to precipitate iron ions to the form of iron oxides. Bipolar ZVI packed bed electrolytic cell was also effective in removing coliform by electrical power. In the continuous experiments for the simulated wastewater (initial nitrate for 25 mg/L as N), maximum 96.3% removal of nitrate was achieved in the applied 600 V at the flow rate of 6 mL/min.

소독부산물인 Haloacetonitriles의 광분해 및 제거 (Removal and Photodecomposition of Haloacetonitriles of Disinfection byproducts)

  • 먹는물에서 염소소독 부산물로서 휘발성유기화합물인 디클로로아세트니트닐(DCAN), 트리클로로아세트니트릴(TCAN), 디브로모아세트니트릴(DBAN), 브로모클로로아세트니트릴(BCAN)의 4종류의 물질을 대상으로 탈기법(air stripping) 및 탈기법(air stripping)과 자외선에너지($8\;W{\times}6$)를 이용하여 분해시험을 행하였다. 물질들의 확인은 가스크로마토 그래프, 이온크로마토그래프 그리고 자외선분광광도계를 사용하였다. TCAN은 탈기법 이용한 방법에서 제거가 되었으며, DBAN과 BCAN에서는 자외선에너지에 의해 분해가 되었다.

Antibiotics Assay of Doxycycline in Food System using Stripping Voltammetry

  • A voltammetric analysis of doxycycline was developed using DNA immobilized onto a carbon nanotube paste electrode (PE). An anodic peak current was indicated at 0.2 V (versus Ag/AgCl) in a 0.1M $NH_4H_2PO_4$ electrolyte solution. The linear working range of the cyclic and square wave stripping voltammetry was obtained to $1-27ngL^{-1}$ with an accumulation time of 800 s. Final analytical parameters were optimized to be as follows: amplitude, 0.35 V; frequency, 500 Hz; and pH, 5.43. Here detection limit was found to be $0.45ngL^{-1}$, this result can be applied in foods systems and in the biological diagnostics

  • Nowadays, the stripping work of form has generated some problems such as increasing total constructing cost result from delayed work schedule by the stripping work of form and environmental issues by wasting the debonded form. According to recent research for form work, it has studied about permanent form to solve economic and environmental problem which is commented above. In this study, high performance permanent form method was developed and tested by adopting COM and TEN specimens adopted on the Compression and Tensile section then the structural behaviour was investigated. In the test result, the specimen adopted the form showed better structural performance than control specimen in the point of ductility, failure mode and ultimate load.

역미셀을 이용한 리파아제의 분리 (Separation of Lipases Using Reversed Micelles)

  • The liquid-liquid extraction of lipase A from Candide cylindracea and lipase B from porcine pancrease was carried out using reversed micellar organic solvents. Effects of various factors such as ionic strength, pH, and species and concentration of surfactant, on lipase solubilization were studied. A cationic surfactant cetyl-trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) in isooctane/nhexanol(1:1) was found to be an effective solvent and its optimum concentration was 50 mM. KCl among various salts tested was the most effective and the efficiency of solubilization of lipase increased with decreasing the ionic strength of salts. The maximum activity and solubiliz ation of protein were obtained at pH 8. The stripping efficiency has a maximum value at pH 4 and increases with KCl concentration in the range of 0.2∼1.0 M. After the solubilization and stripping, the overall recovery efficiency of mass and specific activity of lipases was 62% and 66%, respectively.

  • Unlike other members, beams have various cross-sections and they have an important role of delivering the load of slabs. A beam form neighbors the columns and slabs, which makes it difficult to be installed. In a conventional way to exclusively use the form after concrete pouring, the form and a support should be both removed. Then, the support should reinstalled to sustain the stripping time of form, resulting in a structural issue. To solve such structural problem, the study proposes SMART beam form that uses filler panels and supports for filler. The floor filler panels and supports for filler are not removed after concrete curing, to conform to the stripping time of supports. Thus, any structural problem such as cracks and reduction of compressive strength owing to the gap of load bearing capacity can be prevented. The study results will be used as cases for studies on productivity analyses.

  • Ga-Morin 착물에 대한 흡착벗김전압전류법적 연구를 HMDE를 사용하여 0.1M 아세테이트 완충용액에서 연구하였다. HMDE의 수은 표면에 흡착된 착물의 환원피크 전류에 미치는 여러 분석조건들의 영향을 논의하였으며, 여러 양이온 및 계면활성제의 방해효과에 대하여 검토하였다. 본 연구에서의 검출한계는 흡착시간이 60초일 때 1.7nM 이었으며, 4 ${\mu}$g/l의 Ga를 7회 분석하였을 때 상대표준편차 2.8% 이었다.

  • We present 12CO (2-1) data for four spiral galaxies (NGC 4330, NGC 4402, NGC 4522, NGC 4569) in the Virgo cluster that are undergoing different ram pressure stages. The goal is to probe the detailed molecular gas properties under strong intra-cluster medium (ICM) pressure using high-resolution millimeter data taken with the Submillimeter Array (SMA). Combining this with Institut de RadioAstronomie $Millim{\acute{e}}trique$ (IRAM) data, we also study spatially resolved temperature and density distributions of the molecular gas. Comparing with multi-wavelength data (optical, $H\small{I}$, UV, $H{\alpha}$), we discuss how molecular gas properties and star formation activity change when a galaxy experiences $H\small{I}$ stripping. This study suggests that ICM pressure can modify the physical and chemical properties of the molecular gas significantly even if stripping does not take place. We discuss how this affects the star formation rate and galaxy evolution in the cluster environment.

  • This study reports the site application of the early strength development technology for form stripping earlier than normal state in the apartment construction. It is a method of framework rationalization and it needs the technology of early strength development concrete and 6-day cycle process. We applied the method to the apartment construction to reduce the floor construction period and to maximize the economical effect by reduction of the period of total construction. As a result, we confirmed the superior property of the early strength development of the concrete and reliable success of 6-day cycle process.

충전탑 공기 스트리핑과 활성탄 흡착의 경제성에 관한 연구(다중성분계) (A Study on Economics of Air Stripping Towers and Activated Carbon Adsorption(Multicomponent System))

  • The optimum design and preliminary cost estimations of air stripping towers ASTs with granular activated carbon adsorption (GAC) systems as the off-gas treatment were done and compared to liquid-phase GAC system. The optimum design and preliminary cost estimations were done for either single or multicomponent systems. A computer program was developed for this study. 15 single compounds and their multicomponent systems were studies. Even with off-gas treatment, AST was generally a less expensive process for treatment of volatile organics than liquid-phase GAC system. Treatment costs of small systems were sensitive to system capacity. Accumulative effect of treatment costs was found in multicomponent systems. The cost of a multicomponent system was highly dependent on the least strippable component in ASTs even with gas-phase GAC or the least adsorbable component in liquid-phase GAC system.
