간호대학생의 주관적 행복감, 자아존중감, 임상실습 스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Subjective Happiness, Self-esteem, and Clinical Practice Stress of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 주관적 행복감과 자아존중감을 파악하고 이러한 변인들이 임상실습 스트레스에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 파악하기 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 프로그램의 기초자료를 마련하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 경남지역 소재의 2개 간호대학에서 임상실습을 경험한 3, 4학년 간호대학생 199명이었다. 자료수집기간은 2020년 6월 15일부터 동년 8월 29일까지였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t test, ANOVA, scheffe's test와 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 대상자의 주관적 행복감은 평균 4.87점, 자아존중감은 평균3.84점, 임상실습 스트레스는 평균 2.77점이었다. 다중 회귀분석 결과 대상자의 임상실습 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별, 전공만족도, 자존중감이었으며, 이들 변인들의 설명력은 14.1%로 나타났다. 이에 간호학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소시키기 위하여 전공만족도를 향상을 위한 선후배 멘토링 제도, 동아리 활성화 및 성별에 따른 임상실습 스트레스 감소 프로그램 적용이 필요함을 시사한다.

간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력의 관계에 미치는 극복력의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of the Resilience on the Relationship between Stress in Clinical Practice and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력에 대한 극복력의 매개효과를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 C 지역의 3개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 4학년 137명이다. 연구기간은 2016년 10월 15일부터 11월 15일까지이고, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 대상자들의 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력은 총 5점 중 각각 평균 $3.09{\pm}0.43$점, $3.54{\pm}0.45$점이었고, 극복력은 총 7점 중 평균 $4.93{\pm}0.66$점이었다. 임상실습스트레스와 극복력 간(r=-.24, p=.005), 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력 간(r=-.21, p=.012)에 음의 상관관계를 보였고, 극복력과 임상수행능력 간(r=.59, p<.001)에 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력과의 관계에서 극복력의 매개효과를 검정한 결과, 극복력은 두 변수 간 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, Sobel test을 통해 확인한 결과 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의하였다(Z=-3.02, p=.003). 즉, 임상실습스트레스는 임상수행능력에 미치는 부정적 효과는 극복력이 투입된 후 더 이상 유의한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 임상실습교육은 간호학과 교과 과정에서 매우 중요한 요소이며 반드시 수료해야 하는 교과과정이다. 따라서 불가피하게 직면하는 스트레스 상황에서 간호대학생이 갖추어야 할 임상수행능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 다양한 교과 내 외 과정에 극복력 강화 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증할 것을 제언한다.

향기 흡입법이 간호 대학생의 첫 임상 실습 전 불안과 스트레스 반응에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Aroma Inhalation on Nursing Students' Stress Response and Anxiety before Their First Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of aroma inhalation on nursing students stress responses and anxiety before their first clinical practice. Method: Data were collected during the period from March 5 to March 10, 2007 at K College in a province. There were seventy eight subjects, 35 for the experimental group and 38 for the control group. Aroma oils used were lavender, peppermint and rosemary. Before and after the treatment, the severity of stress and anxiety were evaluated by VAS and a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test and $\chi^2$-test with the SPSS program. Result: The score of subjective stress (VAS) decreased significantly after aroma inhalation(p=.000), but status anxiety was not significantly different between the two groups (p=.649). Conclusion: Aroma inhalation can be a useful intervention to reduce nursing student's stress before their first clinical practice.

간호학 실습교육에 대한 국내 연구현황 분석 (An Analysis of Research on Nursing Practice Education in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was done to propose the developmental direction of study related to nursing practice education by grasping the trend of study in fundamental and clinical practice. Method: A total of 48 research articles which were published on nursing practice education in Korea from 2002 to 2009 were analyzed with structured analysis forms. Result: Most research was related to clinical practice (n=40). A high percentage of non-experimental research design was related to fundamental practice (75%) and clinical practice (65%). Qualitative research was only used in clinical practice (n=8). Nursing students were predominantly selected as an object of research in fundamental practice (n=6) and clinical practice (n=32). In addition, many of the areas in clinical practice were a general clinical setting without any classification of the specific area. The concepts of research in fundamental practice were related to competency in basic nursing skill and most concepts of research in clinical practice were associated with satisfaction, stress, experience, critical thinking and problem solving ability of the nursing student. Conclusion: There's something to be desired in nursing research related to instructor methods, teaching-learning methods and nursing education programs. Therefore, more specific and continuous research focused on these topics to improve clinical nursing competence of the nursing student is needed.

바이오휘드백을 이용한 점진적 근육이완훈련이 스트레스반응과 면역반응에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation using Biofeedback on Stress Response and Natural Killer Cell in first Clinical Practice of Nursing Students)

  • Increasingly nursing science is embracing the concepts and methodology derived from psycho-neuroimmunology. It has been previously shown that stress increases and immune function declines in students undergoing examinations. To date, however, no many studies have been reported on stress levels, immune function and interventions in Korean students undergoing their first clinical nursing rotation. It was proposed that nursing students during their first clinical rotation experience increase in stress because of the novelty of the situation and their lack of clinical knowledge. It was also hypothesized that biofeedback and progressive relaxation, methods of self-regulation of involuntary autonomic nervous system responses, would reduce the stress response. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of progressive muscle laxation using biofeedback The effectiveness of the experimental methods was tested by measuring the degree of symptoms of stress (SOS) and the values of ephinephrine, pulse rate, blood pressure and natural killer cells. The subjects of this study were thirty nursing students divided into two groups: experimental group was progressive muscle relaxation group using biofeedback and control group. This study was conducted for 8 weeks of clinical practice. Biofeedback training was done by software developed by J&J company (1-410 form for progressive muscle training). Progressive muscle relaxation training according to Jacobson's Theory was done by messaged word from biofeedback. The data was analyzed using Chronbach' ${\alpha}$ and t-test of the SPSS program and the significance level of statistics was 5%. The results of the study were : 1) The progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was effective for the reduction of symptoms of stress(t=-4.248, p<.001) under clinical practice stress conditions. 2) The progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was not effective for the values of epinephrine(t=-1.294, p=.206). 3) The progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was effective for the reduction of systolic blood pressure (t=-2.757, p=.01). 4) The progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was effective for the reduction of diastolic blood pressure (p=-2.032, 0=.05). 5) The progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was not effective for the reduction of pulse rate(t=-15, p=.988). 6) The progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was effective for the maintenance of natural killer cells (t=2.381, p=02). The first clinical rotation for student nurses is a stressful experience as seen by the rise in the SOS in the control group. Biofeedback using progressive muscle relaxation were effective in preventing the rise of symptoms of stress and the blood pressure means when comparing the pre to post clinical experience, The mean natural killer cell count was depressed in the control group but not significantly different in the experimental groups, It is proposed here that stress via the hypothalamic - pituitary - adrenal axis suppressed the NK cell count whereas the relaxation methods prevented the rise in stress and the resulting immune depression. We recommend relaxation techniques using biofeedback as a health promotion technique to reduce psychological stress. In summary. the progressive muscle relaxation training using biofeedback was effective for the reduction of symptoms of stress under clinical practice stress conditions.

간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스, 우울 및 자아존중감과의 관계 (The Relationship among Stress in Clinical Practice, Depression and Self-Esteem in Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 임상실습 스트레스, 우울 및 자아존중감과의 관계를 알아보고, 간호대학생의 바람직한 간호전문직관의 정립 및 우울을 감소시키고 자아존중감을 향상시키기 위해 나아갈 간호교육의 방향을 모색하고자 한자. 본 연구는 상관성 조사연구로써 간호학과에 재학 중인 학생 200명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 자료수집기간은 2015년 5월 1일부터 5월 31일까지였다. 자료는 SPSS Program 18.0을 이용하여 t값, Correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스, 우울 및 자아존중감은 순상관관계로 나타났다. 따라서 간호대학생들의 자아존중감을 향상시켜 임상실습 스트레스와 우울을 감소시킬 수 있는 효율적인 실습교육프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to figure out the association of nursing activity participation and clinical practice stress with career maturity during clinical practice among nursing college students. Methods: Participants of the study were 201 nursing college students located in nationwide regions. Data collection was performed between July 18 and August 8, 2019. Data analyses were performed through an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS WIN 25.0. Results: The results of this study were as follows. We ran multiple regression analyses to see which critical factors influenced career maturity. The general characteristics significantly associated with career maturity were preference for clinical nursing, admission to nursing college due to belief, time off, and being satisfied with clinical practice. Regarding clinical practice stress, clinic environment, interpersonal relationship conflict, inappropriate role model and conflict with patients were significantly associated with career maturity. Conclusion: This study suggested that, to improve nursing students' career maturity, nursing colleges and training fields should collaboratively make an efforts to reduce students' stress by building educational clinic environments including managing conflicts in interpersonal relationships among patients, caregivers, and medical and non-medical personnel, and improving inappropriate role models in nursing.

간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스, 건강증진행위, 삶의 질과 영향요인에 관한 연구 (Study of Stress, Health Promotion Behavior, and Quality of Life of Nursing Students in Clinical Practice and Factors associated with Their Quality of Life)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with quality of life of nursing students during clinical practice. Methods: A convenience sample of 332 nursing students completed the questionnaire from July to September, 2013. A self-reported questionnaire was used to obtain data on quality of life, stress related to clinical practice, and health promotion behavior. Data was analyzed with independent t-test, one way ANOVA and Scheff${\acute{e}}$'s post hoc test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression by using SPSS version 20.0. Results: There were significant differences in quality of life scores by age, economic status, interpersonal relationships, daytime somnolence, number of visits in pharmacy and/or healthcare center, health status, and stress management. Quality of life had positive correlation with health promotion behavior but had negative correlation with the level of stress related to clinical practice. Models including these variables explained 34.3% (F=9.77, p<.001) of the variance for quality of life. Age, economic status, sleep amount, numbers of pharmacy/hospital visits, health status, stress during clinical practice, and health promotion behavior were significantly associated with quality of life in nursing students. Conclusion: There is a need to develop and implement new strategies that will result in improvement in nursing students' quality of life.

간호대학생의 간호전문직관 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Nursing Professional Value of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 임상간호인성, 임상실습스트레스, 스트레스 대처 및 간호전문직관의 관련성을 파악하고, 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하여 간호대학생의 올바른 간호전문직관을 증진시키기 위한 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초자료로 활용하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 2019년 5월에서 6월까지 G시 소재 대학에 재학 중인 4학년 학생 145명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS를 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계 분석, 단계적 다중회귀분석으로 실시하였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생의 임상간호인성, 임상실습스트레스, 스트레스 대처는 간호전문직관과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 임상간호인성과 스트레스 대처로, 이들 요인은 간호전문직관을 38.2% 설명하였고(F=43.973, p=.000), 가장 영향을 미치는 요인은 스트레스 대처로 나타났다(β=.508, p=.000). 본 연구의 결과는 간호대학생의 긍정적인 간호전문직관을 위해서 임상간호인성을 증진시키고 다양한 스트레스 대처방법을 제공하는 것이 필요함을 보여준다.

간호대학생의 성역할정체감에 따른 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력 (Nursing College Students' Clinical Practice Stress and Clinical Competence by their Gender Role Identity)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 성역할정체감에 따른 임상실습스트레스, 임상수행능력의 차이와 관계를 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 경남 J시의 2개 대학교 간호학과 학생 450명을 대상으로 2020년 6월 1일부터 30일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며 최종 417명의 자료가 분석되었다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, χ2검정, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe 검증, 상관관계, 위계적 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생의 성역할정체감은 미분화 유형(34.3%)이 가장 많았으며 임상수행능력은 성역할정체감에 대해 유의한 차이가 있었으나(F=20.98, p<.001), 임상실습스트레스는 유의한 차이가 없었다(F=1.56, p=.199). 임상수행능력은 남성성 지수(r=.397, p<.001)와 여성성 지수(r=.325, p<.001)와는 정적 상관이 있었지만, 임상실습스트레스(r=.061, p=.217)와는 유의한 상관이 없었다. 성역할정체감은 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났다(F=6.67, p<.001). 따라서 임상실습교육 전 간호대학생의 성역할정체감을 확인하고 임상수행능력의 향상을 위한 중재가 필요할 것이다.
