In this study, we develop the exact field of mode I in an infinitely deep crack in a half-plane. Using this field, we obtain the exact stress intensity factor $K_{I}$. From the tractions on the crack faces induced by exact field, we calculate the stress intensity factor of this field. We compare the results with the stress intensity factor calculated using Bueckner's weight function formula and that calculated by using Tada's formula listed in "The Stress Analysis of Cracks Handbook" It was found that Bueckner's formula yields accurate results. However, the results obtained using Tada's formula exhibit inaccurate behavior.

This paper presents a theoretical and finite element (FE) study on the stress intensity factors of double-edged cracked steel beams strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) plates. By simplifying the tension flange of the steel beam using a steel plate in tension, the solutions obtained for the stress intensity factors of the double-edged cracked steel plate strengthened with CFRP plates were used to evaluate those of the steel beam specimens. The correction factor α1 was modified based on the transformed section method, and an additional correction factor φ was introduced into the expressions. Three-dimensional FE modeling was conducted to calculate the stress intensity factors. Numerous combinations of the specimen geometry, crack length, CFRP thickness and Young's modulus, adhesive thickness and shear modulus were analyzed. The numerical results were used to investigate the variations in the stress intensity factor and the additional correction factor φ. The proposed expressions are a function of applied stress, crack length, the ratio between the crack length and half the width of the tension flange, the stiffness ratio between the CFRP plate and tension flange, adhesive shear modulus and thickness. Finally, the proposed expressions were verified by comparing the theoretical and numerical results.

Using the CT specimen of carbon steel(SM45C), we estimated the fatigue crack propagation behavior in stable crack propagation range. Furthermore the fatigue crack propagation rate, Acoustic Emission(AE) count rate, and fractography characteristics were also compared among others. The following results were confirmed by experimental observation. Near-threshold stress intensity factor range(.DELTA. $K_{th}$) is influenced by stress ratio but not at the upper limit of stable crack propagation range. As stress intensity factor range(.DELTA.K) and(or) stress amplitude increase (s), both crack propagation rate(da/dN) and AE count rate(dn/dN) increase. Effective stress intensity factor range(.DELTA. $K_{off}$) determined from the crack closure point measurement by AE method is useful for the evaluation of fatigue crack propagation rate. Fractography in stable crack propagation range showed striation, and agreed with the crack propagation rate obtained either by experiment of by the results of microscopic measurements.s.
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting the job stress of school nurses and reducing their the job stress by analyzing degree of the stress according to the factors related to job stress. Methods: The participants were 136 school nurses who worked in Pusan province. The Data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires from Dec. 11th in 2006 to Feb. 9th in 2007. The data were analyzed by Frequency, Mean, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression analysis (SPSSwin 12.0s). Results: There was significant difference of the degree of job stress in age. There was significantly negative relationship between the job characteristics and job stress (r=-.473), job satisfaction and job stress (r=-.561), personal values and job stress (r=-.429), achievement motivation and job stress (r=-.215) at p<.01 level. The major factor which influence the degree of job stress was job satisfaction. Conclusion: The factors affecting the job stress of school nurses was correlated with one another and influenced to the degree of the job stress directly and indirectly. The factor that affected the degree of the job stress directly was the job satisfaction and the personal values. As shown this result, it is important that the factor of the job stress lies in the mental characteristics.

The propagating crack problems under dynamic antiplane mode in orthotropic material is studied in this paper. To analyze the dynamic fracture problems by theoretical method or experimental method in orthotropic material, it is important to know the dynamic stress intensity factor in the vicinity of crack tip. Therefore the dynamic stress field and dynamic displacement field with dynamic stress intensity factor of orthotropic material in mode III were derived. When the crack propagation speed approachs to zero, the dynamic stress components and dynamic displacement components derived in this paper are identical to the those of static state. In addition, the relationships between dynamic stress intensity factor and dynamic energy release rate are determined by using the concept of crack closure energy with the dynamic stresses and dynamic displacements derived in this paper. Finally, the characteristics of crack propagation are studied with the properties of orthotropic material and crack speed. The variation of angle .alpha. between fiber direction and crack propagating direction and crack propagation speed fairly effect on stress component and displacement component in crack tip. The influence of crack propagation speed on the speed on the stress and displacement is greater in the case of .alpha.=90.deg. than in the case of .alpha.=0.deg. and the faster the crack propagation speed, the greater the stress value and displacement value.

Purpose : This paper was attempted to identify the job stress related factors among the staff nurses and to provide the basic data concerning development of stress management program focused on hospitals. Method : The subjects were 309 staff nurses at two general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS-PC+10.0 for descriptive analysis, ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression, factor analysis. Results : The subjects exhibit significantly highest level of 'the participation in decision making factor'. The mean score of 'control coping strategies' was higher than 'avoid coping strategies'. The mean scores of social support and stress responses were high. The main factor that affected the stress responses was 'the job characteristic factor' and it was explained 23.0% out of the total variance of the stress responses. Also, it would be explained 42.6% out of the total variance of the stress responses with 'the control coping strategies, work overload factors, social support, and participation in decision making factors'. Conclusion: For developing the hospital- focused stress management program for staff nurses, 'the participation in decision making factors' and 'the job characteristics' should be considered. Also, the organizational efforts and supports should be required to support and use of 'control coping strategies' of nurses
The aim of this study is to analyze affecting factor on the job finding stress of university students majoring occupational therapy. We collected data for 7days from 12 to 19 July, 2012. This study was surveyed 270 university students majoring occupational therapy was located in the Pusan and South Kyungnam region. It was found that mean score of the job find stress was $2.12{\pm}0.57$. There was statistically significant difference in the physical symptom, depression, anxiety and sub-domain on the job finding stress by gender, age, the economic status, region of birth, the state of employment, employment determinants, job finding stress relief, advice for job finding(p<0.05). From the multiple regression analysis, it was found that affecting factor on the job finding stress was personal characteristics, job related characteristics, stress relief characteristics, physical symptom, depression, anxiety which was statistically significant difference(p<0.05). As a result, we could know that they must relieve the physical symptom, depression and anxiety for lowering job finding stress of university student majoring occupational student.
In this paper the stress intensity factor under uniform pressure in the arbitrarily-shaped plane crack configuration transformed elliptic crack by Mobius mapping are determined. Using Dyson's formula Boussinesq-Papkovich potentials for mode I deformation are constructed. In the example the stress intensity factors are approximately calculated by least square method.
This paper describes an analysis of the stress intensity factor (SIF) of the presented cracks in LNG piping. The stress analysis used the Finite Element Method. The stress Intensity factor calculated Raju & Newmann equation and ASME Section XI method. The cracks in the flanges are found to be influenced by temperature, but the cracks of the piping are found not to be influenced by temperature. If the cracks shape in the flanges and the cracks shape of the piping are same each other, the cracks in the flange will be dangerous more than the cracks of the piping.
