장애아 보육교사의 전문성 인식과 직무스트레스의 관계 (Awareness of Professionalism and Job Stress in Child-Care Teachers of Children with Special Needs)

  • This study defined awareness of professionalism and job stress in 353 child-care teachers of children with special needs and analyzed the relative contribution of professional awareness to job stress. Teachers showed high awareness of 'ethics' and 'enthusiasm enhancing professionalism', and this awareness correlated highly with professionalism in the 'specialized knowledge and skills' sub-factors. Teachers showed high levels of stress in the 'general duty' and the 'guidance of children with special needs' categories, and this correlated highly with stress caused by 'child-care center management.' The results of canonical correlation analysis indicated that of professionalism sub-factors only the awareness of 'social services' contributed positively to job stress.

어머니의 특성 및 자아인식이 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of a Mother's Characteristics and Self-awareness upon Parenting Stress)

  • The purpose of this study was to focus on the effects of a mother's characteristics and self-awareness as they impact upon parenting stress, with the additional aim of creating an appropriate structural equation model. The subjects of the study comprised 2078 newborn children (and their mothers) taken from the $1^{st}$ year of the Korea Children's Panel. The results of the research are as follows. The mother's feeling of pregnancy, her income activity, religion, and educational level impacted significantly upon self-awareness, whereas employment status did not. In addition, the feeling of pregnancy and income activity had a effect on parenting stress both directly and indirectly. Educational level and religion impacted on parenting stress indirectly through self-awareness. Both employment status and self-awareness were found to have impacted on parenting stress directly. The implication of these findings are also discussed.

응급구조학과 학생의 건강행위와 생명윤리의식의 관계에서 생활스트레스의 매개효과 (The mediating effect of life stress on the relationship between paramedic student's health behavior and bioethics awareness)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the role of life stress in the relation between health behaviors and bioethics awareness among paramedic students. Methods: This study recruited 238 paramedic students in F and R areas as participants. Multiple regression analysis was performed using Baron and Kenny's three-step procedure. Results: In the first stage, health behaviors had a significant effect on life stress (β=-.202, p<.01). In the second stage, health behaviors had a significant effect on bioethics awareness (β=.240, p<.001). In the third stage, life stress had a significant influence on bioethics awareness (β=-.167, p<.01). In the fourth stage, the regression coefficient of the third stage (β=.137) was less than that of the second stage (β=.159). In addition, when controlling for life stress, health behavior was shown to affect bioethics awareness (β=.206, p<.01). The mediating effect of life stress was found to be significant in the relation between health behavior and bioethics awareness (Z=2.04, p<.05). Conclusion: As health behavior is a factor that affects bioethics awareness through the mediation of living stress, universities should prepare training programs to improve the health behavior and reduce the life stress among students.

일부 여고생의 구강건강자각증상과 학업스트레스의 관련성 (The Relationship between Oral Health Symptoms and Academic Stress in Some High School Girls)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between oral health awareness symptoms and academic stress in some high school girls and to find out existing improvement plans. Methods: This study conducted a self-reported survey on 303 high school girls from four high schools in Jeollabuk-do. Results: Higher academic performance, poor subjective oral health, awareness of dental caries, awareness of jaw joint disease, awareness of discomfort during chewing, and awareness of tooth pain significantly increased overall admission stress. The most influential factors were dental pain symptoms, followed by subjective oral health and dental caries symptoms. Conclusions: Effective measures to help high school girls cope with academic stress, a systematic school oral health policy, and practical health promotion activities are necessary to improve their oral health.

한국 간호대학생의 공감 능력에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Empathy in Nursing Students in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to explore the levels of self-awareness, assertiveness, life stress, and empathy in nursing students and identify influential factors on empathy. Methods: A predictive correlational design was used. The data was collected by questionnaires from a convenience sample of 319 nursing students in 2014 in Korea. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean items scores of self-awareness, assertiveness, life stress, and empathy were 3.49, 3.02, 2.20 and 3.58, respectively, of a possible score ranging from 1 to 5. Empathy significantly differed by gender, grade, satisfaction with nursing as a major, and clinical practice experience. Empathy was correlated with self-awareness and interpersonal relationship stress. As a result of multiple regression analysis, empathy accounted for 20.1% of the variance by self-awareness, gender, clinical practice experience and interpersonal relationship stress. The most important factor was self-awareness, which explained 11.6% of the variation. Conclusion: The results of the study reveal that strengthening self-awareness and relieving interpersonal relationship stress ought to be integrated in developing effective educational intervention for enhancing empathy in nursing students.

학부모의 양육스트레스가 아동학대인식에 미치는 영향 : 자아존중감의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of School Parents ′ Parenting Stress on the Child Abuse Awareness : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Self-esteem)

  • 본 연구는 학부모의 양육스트레스와 아동학대인식의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 경기도의 A시에 거주하고 있는 학부모 389명을 대상으로 설문조사한 자료를 활용하였다. 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 구조방정식모형을 적용한 매개효과 분석방법을 사용하였다. 분석결과, 학부모의 아동학대인식에 대해 양육스트레스는 부적 방향으로, 자아존중감은 정적 방향으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학부모의 양육스트레스가 아동학대인식에 미치는 영향에서 자아존중감의 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 근거로 하여 학부모의 아동학대인식을 향상시켜 아동학대를 예방하는 방법을 제시하였다. 학부모의 양육스트레스의 감소와 자아존중감을 증진시키는 프로그램을 아동학대예방 프로그램에 포함시키는 방법 등을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 학부모의 아동학대인식을 분석했다는 점에서 교육학적, 심리학적, 사회복지학적인 융복학적 접근이라는 점에서 그 의의를 둘 수 있다.

상급종합병원 간호사의 의료기관인증제에 대한 인식이 직무 스트레스와 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the Awareness of Healthcare Accreditation on Job Stress and Turnover Intention in Tertiary Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of nurses' awareness of healthcare accreditation on their job stress and turnover intention. Methods: Across-sectional correlation study design was used. Participants consisted of 143 nurses from two tertiary hospitals in Seoul and Gyunggido, South Korea. Data were collected in October 2016 using self-report questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, an ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression in SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Awareness of health care accreditation correlated negatively with job stress (r=-.63, p<.001) and turn over intention (r=-.50, p<.001). Awareness of health care accreditation was the factor that most influenced job stress, explaining 38% of the variance (F=23.10, p<.001). Awareness of health care accreditation and duty pattern were the factors that most influenced intention to leave, explaining 32% of the variance (F=10.35, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings suggest raising nurses' awareness of certification systems to reduce their job stress and turnover intentions. It will be necessary to provide support for the aggressive work nurses do and improve their work structure, highlighting the need for both manpower and institutional support. Accordingly, providing regular education programs and appropriate compensation schemes, by raising nurses' awareness of medical institutions' certification systems, is necessary.

성인의 비만 관심이 건강행위에 미치는 영향에서 지각된 스트레스의 매개효과에 관한 한중 비교 연구 (Mediating Effects of Perceived Stress in the Influence of Obesity Awareness on Health Behavior : A Comparative Study between Korean and Chinese Adults)

  • 본 연구는 성인의 비만 관심이 지각된 스트레스를 매개로 하여 건강행위에 미치는 과정에서 한국과 중국 국적의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 수행하였다. 2019년 8월 26일부터 10월 11일까지 일대일 설문조사를 통해 자료수집이 이루어졌다. 한국은 서울에 소재한 일개 대학교와 종합병원에서 140명의 성인이 참여하였고, 중국은 심양에 소재한 일개 대학교와 종합병원에서 성인 140명의 성인이 설문에 참여하였다. 분석한 결과, 성인의 비만 관심은 건강행위에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 비만 관심이 건강행위에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 지각된 스트레스의 매개효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 한국과 중국의 국적에 따라 비만 관심이 건강행위에 영향을 미치는 직접경로는 유의한 차이를 보였으나, 지각된 스트레스를 매개로 하여 건강행위에 영향을 미치는 간접경로는 조절하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 한국에 비해 중국 성인이 비만 관심이 건강행위에 미치는 영향이 크다는 것을 보여준다. 또한, 한국과 중국 모두 비만 관심이 지각된 스트레스를 증가시켜 건강행위를 감소시키는 결과를 볼 때, 비만으로 인한 스트레스를 관리하는 것이 긍정적인 건강행위를 증가시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

라이프케어를 위한 가족관계가 학부모의 아동학대인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Family Relationship on School Parents' Child Abuse Awareness for Life Care)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생과 중학생 자녀를 둔 학부모를 대상으로 가족관계가 아동학대인식에 미치는 영향에 있어서 양육스트레스의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 A지역에 거주하는 학부모를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 389부를 분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과, 학부모의 아동학대인식에 대해 가족관계는 정적 방향으로 양육스트레스는 부적 방향으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가족관계와 아동학대인식간의 인과관계에서 양육스트레스의 부분매개효과를 검증하였다. 이러한 분석결과는 학부모의 가족관계가 아동학대인식에 중요한 독립변수이고 이 관계에서 양육스트레스가 주요한 매개변수라는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구결과를 근거로 하여 학부모를 위한 가족관계 증진프로그램, 아동학대예방 매뉴얼, 다양한 양육지원서비스의 확충과 개선 및 가족복지서비스 전달체제로서의 건강가정지원센터의 기능을 강화할 필요가 있다는 점을 제언하였다.

간호 대학생의 임상실습 스트레스와 강점인지와 강점효능감이 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Clinical Practicum-related Stress, and Awareness, and Self-efficacy on Strength on Health Promotion Behaviors among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the influence of clinical practicum-related stress, and awareness, and self-efficacy on strength on health promotion behaviors among nursing students. Methods: The subjects were 274 students in nursing college who had experience in a clinical nursing practicum. Data were collected from self-reported questionnaires and were analyzed by independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analyses. Results: Multiple regression analyses showed that strength self-efficacy and self-awareness on strength significantly affected overall health promotion behaviors. Regarding subscales of health promotion behaviors, self-awareness on strength significantly affected health responsibility and stress management in health promotion behavior when controlling for sociodemographic characteristics, while the subscales of clinical practicum-related stress did not affect health promotion behavior. Conclusion: The recognition of an individual's strength and self-efficacy might be a factor in improving health promotion behaviors among nursing college students, although they suffer from stress during clinical nursing practicum.
