The purpose of this study is to analyze a Characteristics of block formation and commercialization of residential books commercial area along urban arteries on Teheran-ro in Seoul. 'Teheran-ro' is selected as a case site to analyze the characteristics of residential blocks commercial area along urban arteries. This study was inverstigated on that a street view is the important point of the town planning. Until now, the street view has formed with senseless and coarse town planning because of lack of understanding of the street view during the urbanization in the same way and total lack of a consistent plan. On the sight of having a critical mind about the street view, this study was performed to present the analyses of the current problems of the street formation as the vivid directions of development for the future city view of the visual quality and the development of comfort.

This study surveys the degree of residents' satisfaction on the current street space to suggest alternatives for the improvement of the street space design in detached house areas. In the results of the survey, we find the following. First, in the result of analysis on age, residential term, having children or not, income level, and type of house ownership, residents are homogeneous in social and economic characteristics. There are similarity in geographical, locational conditions, neighboring facilities, deterioration of residential house, and the time of residential formation among residential areas. Second, satisfactory determinants of residents on street space according to street types, are maintenance, protection of privacy, and parking space. Third, satisfactory determinants of residents on street hierarchy is the inner circulation road while unsatisfactory one is the inner roads. Fourth, age, residential term and type of house ownership are significant factors influencing residents' satisfaction. Factors influencing satisfaction on street space are also affecting total satisfaction and factors associated with street environment are perceived more important ones than factors associated with street activities. Thus we find the degrees of satisfaction for residents on street type and street hierarchy are different despite that general characteristics of residents are similar. We also find residents consider street noise and maintenance as critical factor among physical factors of street space.

As passing through the Japanese colonial period, Daegu has been changed into a modern city. In addition, the nature of the city had changed a lot by withdrawal of Eup-sung and the opening of the road and the increase of population in Japan. Of course, the expansion of the city was caused by the increase of the Japanese population. To understand the current city, it is most important to understand the past city's characteristics and especially the formation and change of city must be considered with understanding the situation of city. And now the city reflects the role of the city in the past. In fact, the effect of the street constitution in Daegu Eup-sung during Japanese colonial period on the present time was very big and continues. Especially, in order to understand the situation of the city and consider the direction in the future, the analysis of the development process has important implications.This study aimed to consider the change of Daegu Eup-sung Street and Formation of Dwelling Site focusing on the Buksung Street. The purpose of this study is to investigate the nature of the city and changing process of the city by the past Buksung street and the current Buksung street as time goes by.

In today's fashion Street is a birthplace of new generation fashion and Street Fashion have frequently influenced on high fashion. From this view point this study is a meaningful approach to forecast future fashion trend by examining the street style of youth who are regarded as Street Fashion leaders. The purpose of this study is to examine the Youth Fashion style in early 1990s and to pro-vide a reference to fashion designer and mer-chandiser in trend forecasting and product plan-ning. This study is focused on 1990s Youth Fashion style through the historical Street Fashion : 1950s Teddy boys & Mods 1960s Hippies & Skinhead and 1970s Punk. There were mainly two popular Street Fashion phenomena in early 1990s. There were mainly two popular Street Fashion phenomena in early 1990s. One is grunge fashion created by new gener-ation in opposition to existing generation society and impacting on hish fashion leaders. The other is Remix style that is mixed : sub culture fashion originated by young group in 1950-1970s with 1990s sensitivity. Both fashion styles origionated and led by youth of street have influenced on famous high fashion designeres as well as the general public. Street Fashion will continue to play an import-ant role in future fashion and more study and interest on Street Fashion should be taken by fashion forecaster and related.

본 연구는 광주 예술의 거리에서 살아온 생활주체들의 경험의 관점에서 거리의 형성 과정과 장소성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, 우선 예술의 거리의 지리적 특성과 공간 변화, 광주 예술계의 흐름과 경제 정치적 상황을 검토함으로써, 예술의 거리가 지정되기 이전의 역사를 정리하였다. 다음으로 예술의 거리의 장소성 파악을 위해, 선행 이론적 연구를 바탕으로 물리적, 행태적, 의미적 요소를 도출해내었다. 장소성 형성의 물리적 요소는 행정권력에 의해 드러난 요소와 생활주체가 생각하는 중요한 요소를 종합하여 파악했다. 행태적 요소는 생활주체가 거리에서 경험하는 개인적이고 미시적인 역사적 과정을 심층인터뷰를 통해 파악하였다. 마지막으로 의미적 요소는 의미경합의 장으로서 생활주체들이 경험한 예술의 거리의 역사 속에서, 그들이 거리에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 설문조사를 통해 파악하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 시사점은 생활주체의 인식과 관점을 통한 예술의 거리의 장소성 진단을 통해, 거리 정체성 확립과 통합적 장소브랜드 개발, 생활주체 네트워크와 파트너십을 위한 내발적인 장소성 만들기 정책이 필요하다는 점이다.

This study extracted and analyzed physical components of street view with external streets at large-scaled apartment house complex of Sangmu Housing Site Development District in Gwangju, examined factors affecting the image of street view and visual perceptional characteristics by image, analyzed relationship between components of street view and visual preferences of image and aimed to provide basic materials needed for making external street view at apartment house complex of high Qualify.

가로는 도시를 구성하는 선적(線的) 요소로서 도시 발전의 축이다. 이러한 가로의 본질적 기능은 통행이 목적인 교통공간이지만 이와 함께 사람과 사람의 만남, 휴식, 오락 등의 다양한 활동을 담아내는 커뮤니티의 장으로서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 가로는 기본적으로 보도와 차도 그리고 가로를 에워싸고 있는 가로변 건축물로 구성되는 3차원의 공간이다. 이때 가로변건축물은 가로공간을 구성하는 중요한 물리적 구성요소로 가로변건축물의 입면은 사람들이 가로공간의 이미지를 형성하는데 중요한 변수로 작용하게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 가로변 건축물의 입면을 구성하는 형태구성요소를 대상으로 가로경관의 이미지에 영향을 미치는 시지각적 우세요소들을 추출하고 각각의 요소들의 만족도와 선호도를 조사/분석하여 향후 도시가로 경관계획 시 기초자료로 활용할 수 있도록 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.

활성화된 골목형 도시상업가로는 사람들이 선호하는 장소로서 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 골목형 도시상업가로 조성을 위한 계획 및 설계방법에 있어서의 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 부산시의 대표적인 활성화된 골목형 도시상업가로인 '전리단길'과 '망미단길'을 사례대상지로 선정하여 이론적 고찰과 사례분석을 통하여 사례대상지 개요, 가로공간구성, 건축물 용도, 가로경관, 가로시설물에 대하여 가로공간특성을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통하여 도출된 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보행공간 및 환경을 개선하기 위한 가로환경의 조성이 필요하다. 둘째, 기존에 입지한 주요용도와 새로 도입된 용도간의 상생이 필요하다. 셋째, 적응적 재사용 등을 통한 가로의 정체성 유지가 필요하다. 넷째, 민간에 의한 자생적 형성과 공공에 의한 계획적 조성의 협력이 필요하다.
