읍소재지 중심가로의 보행환경 개선 방향 - 전라남도 4개 지방정부 읍소재지의 중심가로를 대상으로 - (Directions for Improving the Pedestrian Environment in Main Street of Towns - Targeting Main Street in Four Local Government Towns in Jeollanam-do -)

  • This study analyzed the path that affects the user's walking satisfaction on main street in four local government towns in Jeollanam-do. and as an empirical study to find the direction of improvement toward the main street from the perspective of walking, the results are as follows. First, it was found that the network had a direct (+) effect on walking satisfaction as a main street. In addition, it was analyzed that land use had no direct (+) effect on walking satisfaction on the main street, but had a direct (+) effect on the network. Second, it was analyzed from the fact that the walking environment does not have a direct (+) effect on walking satisfaction, but has a direct (+) effect on the network. and it was analyzed that the street-building relationship had a direct (+) effect on the street landscape, and the street landscape had a direct (+) effect on the walking environment. The study was completed by suggesting implications according to the above research results.

도시단독주택지 가로공간 계획을 위한 거주자 만족도 분석 연구 (A Study on the Residential Satisfaction Analysis for Street Space Design in Detached House Area)

  • This study surveys the degree of residents' satisfaction on the current street space to suggest alternatives for the improvement of the street space design in detached house areas. In the results of the survey, we find the following. First, in the result of analysis on age, residential term, having children or not, income level, and type of house ownership, residents are homogeneous in social and economic characteristics. There are similarity in geographical, locational conditions, neighboring facilities, deterioration of residential house, and the time of residential formation among residential areas. Second, satisfactory determinants of residents on street space according to street types, are maintenance, protection of privacy, and parking space. Third, satisfactory determinants of residents on street hierarchy is the inner circulation road while unsatisfactory one is the inner roads. Fourth, age, residential term and type of house ownership are significant factors influencing residents' satisfaction. Factors influencing satisfaction on street space are also affecting total satisfaction and factors associated with street environment are perceived more important ones than factors associated with street activities. Thus we find the degrees of satisfaction for residents on street type and street hierarchy are different despite that general characteristics of residents are similar. We also find residents consider street noise and maintenance as critical factor among physical factors of street space.

가로경관 만족도의 영향요인 분석 -포항시 중앙상가로변을 중심으로- (Analysis of Factors affecting Satisfaction of Street-scape -Focused on the Street of Central Market, Pohang City-)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting satisfaction of street-scape. According to this purpose, in chapter 2, by inspecting conservation of street environment and streetscape, deduce the frame for analyzing streetscape in commercial district. In chapter 3, analyzing present condition and problems of selected streets in Pohang City, derive the primary factors to induce desirable streetscape through problems and their reason between the analyzed elements of building form. Analyzed elements are composed pavement of road, street furniture, height of buildings, color and material of building and outdoor advertisements, etc. In chapter 4, by conducting a questionnaire survey of pedestrians about street images and the preference, propose the direction of improvement about streetscape in commercial district. As the study method, level of satisfaction was analyzed using the components of street-scape. The collected data was analyzed through Reliability Analysis, ANOVA, Factor Analysis, Regression Analysis. A regression analysis for deriving main factors affecting the satisfaction level of street-scape showed that signboard, sign color, width of street, paving materials, street furniture, open space were found to be the most important.

  • This study conducted an evaluation of the streetscape improvement project of the Gwangbok Street through analysis of visual and perceptual characteristics by comparing selected pictures of streetscape before and after the project. This work has conducted an analysis of the environmental factors which influence subjects' satisfaction degrees including physical street equipments and street view factors which are main contents of this project. Using a satisfaction analysis and factor analysis, each factor's significance was verified quantitatively. As a result of the analysis, physical components of the streetscape were classified into 4 types according to project's effectiveness and improvement priorities. These 4 types include (1) Components for maintenance because of higher satisfaction and higher importance, (2) Components for improvement because of lower satisfaction and higher importance, (3) Components for good business fruits because of higher satisfaction and lower importance, and (4) Components for unnecessity because of lower satisfaction and lower importance.

도시재생 뉴딜사업의 가로환경에 대한 이용자 만족도 연구: 대구광역시 일반근린형 도시재생 뉴딜사업을 중심으로 (Analysis of User's Satisfaction on the Street Environment of the General Neighborhood Type of Urban Regeneration New Deal Projects in Daegu)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 기존의 재개발이나 재건축과 같은 전면철거형의 사업과는 달리 본래의 모습을 유지하며 도시환경을 개선하는 도시재생 뉴딜사업을 대상으로 가로환경에 대한 이용자의 평가에 관한 연구이다. 선행연구 고찰을 통해 가로환경 평가항목을 구축한 후, 대구광역시 내 도시재생 뉴딜사업 중 일반근린형 사업대상지인 중구 동산동, 동구 효목동, 달서구 죽전동의 시민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 도시재생 뉴딜사업 대상지 간 가로환경에 대한 이용자들의 비교를 위해 IPA분석을 실시하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대상지별로 가로환경에 대한 중요도와 만족도가 다르게 나타났다. 둘째, 보도청결상태는 모든 대상지에서 중요도와 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 간판 및 건물에 대한 주민의 만족도는 높으나 중요도는 낮게 나타났다. 반면, 주차 및 보차분리 관한 주민의 만족도는 낮으나 중요도는 높게 나타났다. 향후 도시재생 뉴딜사업에서 지역 주민의 요구에 맞는 차별화된 도시재생 사업계획이 수립될 필요가 있다.

상인 연령별 영업환경만족도 영향요인에 관한 연구: 종로구 역사문화거리를 중심으로 (A Study on the Factors Influencing Satisfaction of Business Environment by Merchant Age: Focusing on the Jongno-gu Historical and Cultural Street)

  • 그 동안 서울시 종로구 역사문화거리는 북촌, 서촌, 인사동, 삼청동을 중심으로 전통 및 골목상권에 진입하고 있는 대형유통시설과 대규모 민간 투자로 인하여 월 임대료가 급속도로 상승하였고, 상인은 경제적 부담으로 인하여 영업환경이 점점 악화되고 있다. 이에 상인들의 영업환경을 유지하기 위해 입지적, 경제적, 문화적, 정책적 환경을 개선하여 기존 상권의 문제점을 보완하고, 잠재적 가치를 발굴하여 지역 상권의 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 연구는 종로구 역사문화거리를 중심으로 상인의 연령을 30-40대, 50대, 60대 이상으로 구분하고, 입지적, 경제적, 문화적, 정책적 환경을 고려하여 영업환경만족도 영향요인을 분석하였다. 주요 분석결과를 살펴보면, 30-40대 상인은 타 연령층과 비교하여 교통 접근성, 상권 내 유동인구, 권리금, 월 임대료에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 영업환경만족도가 증가하였다. 50대 상인은 타 연령층과 비교하여 문화단체 및 예술가 활동, 커뮤니티 지원시설 확대, 프랜차이즈 선별적 입지불허에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 영업환경만족도가 높았다. 60대 이상 상인은 타 연령층과 비교하여 보행 접근성, 월 매출액, 상인 공동체, 역사문화보존, 정부의 상권보호에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 영업환경만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

조류 도입에 의한 가로수 체계 선호도 분석 (Street trees system preference by birds introduction analysis)

  • This research to streets at Daegu, and view adjective how people react when draw a bird into interior in city utilize and examine becoming direction of street trees system. Findings on survey, citizens appear by average 2.87 in management degree of street trees and average 2.76 in various of species of trees, discontent thing more or less by average 2.91 in satisfaction of the beauty, and demonstrate high shame from satisfaction for season stuff to comparative high 3.24, generally, citizens appear by there are parts to improve by do dissatisfaction about street trees system at Daegu. Also, street trees 2 lines plantings for a bird is average 3.05, shows affirmative feedback about that shrub utilization for a bird see high numerical value by average 3.4 and people draw a bird to space of city. Therefore, construct street trees friendly to the nature and be considered to need to re-establish set street trees environment in citizens preference to recover city ecosystem. As result that examine reaction which treat in street trees planting programs to draw birds into city through view adjective, Likert scales about 2 lines plantings of street trees and additional planting of shrub show affirmative feedback by average 3.4 both ordinary people and specialist group, if people want to draw birds into city by various of method, various research should be accomplished.

중소도시 가로경관의 건축적 특성과 만족도분석 연구 -포항시 중앙상가로변을 중심으로- (A Study on the Architectural Characteristics and Satisfaction Analysis of Street-scape in a Small and Medium City -Focused on the Street of Central Market, Pohang City-)

  • This study aims for proposing improvement method for streetscape in a small and medium city of Korea. According to this purpose, in chapter 2, by inspecting conservation of street environment and streetscape, deduce the frame for analyzing streetscape in commercial district. The detailed elements are pavement of road, street furniture, height of buildings, color and material of building and outdoor advertisements. In chapter 4, by conducting a questionnaire survey of pedestrians about street images -choosing impressive physical elements and the feeling of the street by the list of adjective of semantic differential scale- and the preference, propose the direction of improvement about streetscape in commercial district.

도시가로 보행자공간의 활성화 측면에서 바라본 청계천 이용자의 만족도 조사연구 (The Survey Study on ChungGyeCheon users's Satisfaction in Terms of the Utilization Aspects of the Pedestrian Space of the City Street)

  • Covering structures and elevated road of Cheonggyecheon are the by-products of the developing era when functionality and efficiency were emphasized. Historic river restoration project around Cheonggyecheon which had been emerged as a threat to the safety of the citizens due to its corrosion and structural defects as time passes had been performed during the period from July, 2003 through October, 2005 under the slogan of future-oriented urban environment creation. By dint of this river restoration project, its value is being heightened as almost all the rivers of Seoul including Seongbukcheon, Chungreungcheon and Honghaecheon have been arranged by inter-active linkage. In addition, this river is becoming a place frequented by the numerous visitors at home and aborad by providing the citizens with an attractive space for utilizing leisure time. Currently in the diversified areas, an academic research on the Cheonggyecheon restoration is under progress. In this study, sampled questionnaire for the visitors was carried out by site visit with the necessity of users' satisfaction survey in terms of revitalization of pedestrian space of the city street. As a result of this, natural restoration and provision of leisure space were surveyed to be highly assessed in terms of satisfaction and insufficient provision of convenience facilities including toilet and parking space was pointed out as a matter to be improved. As Cheonggyecheon is invigorated from the obstacle of urban environment through its epochal restoration, its value provided to us will be evaluated and by supplementing the deduced problems, we intend to find its meaning in our hope that this would become a sustainable future assets providing a basic data.

구글 스트리트 뷰와 딥러닝을 활용한 보행 친화적 환경이 여가보행에 미치는 영향 평가 - 서울특별시 용산구를 대상으로 - (Evaluating the Impact of Walkability Environments on Leisure Walking Using Google Street View and Deep Learning - A Case Study of Yongsan District, Seoul -)

  • 본 연구는 보행 활동을 일상보행(utilitarian walking)과 여가보행(leisure walking)으로 구분하고, 보행 유형과 보행 환경 간의 상관관계를 분석하고자 한다. 연구 대상지는 서울특별시 용산구로, 보행환경 측정을 위해 구글 스트리트뷰(Google Street View: GSV)와 의미론적 분할(semantic segmentation) 딥러닝 기법을 활용하여 보행자가 실제로 체감하는 도시 보행환경 요소들을 정량적으로 산출하였다. 일상보행과 여가보행, 인지적 보행환경 만족도를 측정하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하여 192명의 유효 응답을 수집하였고, 설문 응답 데이터를 바탕으로 일상보행, 여가보행, 보행환경 만족도를 시각화하고, 보행친화도 값 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 여가보행과 보행친화도는 유의미한 양의 상관관계를 보였으나(Pearson's r= 0.121, p-value= 0.012), 일상보행과 보행친화도 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 없었다(Pearson's r= 0.093, p-value= 0.055). 이는 사람들이 일상보행에서는 보행환경보다 이동 효율성을 더 중요하게 고려하지만, 여가보행에서는 보행환경의 질을 고려하여 보행 빈도가 결정된다는 결과를 보여준다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 여가보행을 증진시키기 위해 주거지 주변의 보행환경을 개선하는 방안으로, 좁은 보행로에 수직 정원이나 다양한 형태의 입체적 정원을 조성하고, 보도 디자인을 개선하는 등의 구체적인 전략이 필요함을 제시한다. 본 연구 결과는 보행 친화적인 환경 조성을 통해 여가보행을 활성화하고, 궁극적으로 서울시의 지속 가능성과 주민들의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
