  • 프로브 차량 데이터로부터 전수화 된 교통량, 밀도, 대기행렬 길이를 추정하기 위해 프로브 차량 비율이 필요하다. 이를 위해 기존 연구는 프로브차량과 일반 차량의 위치에 대한 확률구조를 활용하여 지점 검지기 없이 프로브 차량 비율을 추정하는 방법을 제시하였으나, 기존 연구의 방법론은 다차로 도로에 적용할 수 없다는 한계가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 각 차로의 대기행렬 길이에 확률분포를 도입함으로써 다차로 접근로에서 프로브 차량 비율을 추정하고자 하였다. 사례연구 결과, 추정치와 관측치 간 이격이 있었으나, 추정치가 관측치의 경향을 따라가는 것으로 나타났으며, 향후 보정계수 도입 등을 통하여 추정치를 개선할 여지가 있었다. 본 연구는 지점 검지기가 없는 다차로 접근로에서 전수화 된 교통량, 밀도, 대기행렬 길이를 추정하기 위한 기초연구로서 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The New Recreational Transportation on the Street: Personal Mobility, Is It Safe?

  • Purpose: The interest in the personal mobility started to grow and as the interest increases, there are growing concerns about the safety of it. The purpose of the study is to look at the types and dynamics of patients injured by the personal mobilities. Methods: This was a retrospective 2-year observational study, from January 2016 to December 2017, on the patients who visited the emergency center and the trauma center, with an injury related to driving the personal mobility. Cases of the personal mobility-related accident were collected based on electronic medical records and hospital emergency department-based injury in-depth surveillance data. Results: A total of 65 patients visited the emergency center and the trauma center, during this study period. Six patients of 50 adults admitted the alcohol consumption (12%) and two adult patients wore the helmet as the protection gear (3.1%). The number of the patients in 2017 rises three times more than the number of patients in 2016 (51 vs. 14). Injuries to the head and neck region (67.7%) was the most common, followed by the upper extremity (46.2%). Eleven patients (16.9%) were admitted to the hospital, of whom three were admitted to the intensive care unit due to intracranial hemorrhage. Nine patients underwent surgery. Conclusions: The use of the personal mobility will continue to grow and the accidents, caused by the vehicle, will increase along with it. The study showed the damage is worse than expected. Personal mobility currently has a limited safety laws and the riders are not yet fully aware of its danger. The improvement of the regulation of the personal mobility, safety education is needed.

이민자 공동체의 공간적 경관 (Spatial Landscape of Immigrant Communities in Seoul)

  • 도시 경관의 다양성은 건축물과 가로패턴, 그리고 사람들의 인문적 특성 이른바 언어와 색과 움직임 등의 동태적 특성에 의해 정립된다. 한국의 해외이주민의 증가와 함께 지역사회의 행정과 국토정책상 새로운 지침이 필요하다. 2000년대 이후 꾸준히 증가하는 외국인 이주민에 대해 행정, 사회학적, 그리고 지리적 연구가 이루어지고 있지만, 각 국가별 민족별 상이한 문화와 생활양식이 기존 주류사회와 어떠한 통합 과정을 거치고 안전하고 건강한 공간성을 구축할 수 있는지에 대한 정밀한 실험은 미흡한 상황이다. 통계적 데이터의 결핍된 부분과 소수 비율의 외국인 거주자에 대한 대표성을 파악하기에 한계가 있다. 지역사회의 통합적 전략에 대한 핵심요소를 지표화하기 위해서 외국인 이주자들의 거주지 행태와 공간적 특성이 우선 파악되어야 한다. 통계적으로 계량화하기 어려운 소수의 공동체에 관한 공간적 요소를 분석을 위해 경관적 접근을 실험해보고자 한다.

  • This study tried to examine the fashion design and style of representative K-Pop boy groups BTS and SEVENTEEN appearing on music shows. The data collection was conducted on 4 music programs(Inkigayo, Music Bank, Show! Music Core, M COUNTDOWN) and YouTube(www.youtube.com) for each boy who worked for 5 years from January 2016 to December 2020. Result analysis utilized the stage scenes and music videos of the title songs of BTS and Seventeen. As for the fashion design and style characteristics of BTS, it was found that overall, the color, pattern, and decoration of the bottom were minimized, and the style was changed mainly by the top of the denim pants. As for Seventeen's fashion design and style characteristics, it was analyzed that plain simple slacks, bright and modest chromatic colors, and geometric and stylistic patterns with street retro sensibility were relatively emphasized, and natural and romantic images appeared a lot. As a result of examining the differences in fashion design and style characteristics between BTS and Seventeen, significant differences were found in color, tone, color scheme, material type, material combination, detail, trimming, pattern, accessories, and fashion image. Overall, it was found that both groups minimized the use of decorative elements such as patterns, details, and trimmings.

WEB 기반 질병 예측 시스템 (Disease Prediction System based on WEB)

  • 코로나바이러스 감염은, 21세기, 아무리 현대 의학이 발전하였지만, 특별한 약이나 치료제가 없는 매우 난감한 상황이다. 그러므로, 세계 여러 나라에서, 코로나바이러스를 일차적으로 간단하게 파악하기 위해서, 유동 인구가 많이 이동하는 기차역, 버스터미널, 공항 터미널에는 발열 측정용 적외선 카메라가 설치하고, 이른 시간에 비접촉식 체온계를 사용해서, 37.5 도 이상의 고열로 분류되면, 코로나바이러스 감염 의심 환자로 1차 판단하고 있다. 그러나, 발열 측정 적외선 체온계는 체온측정 신뢰도가 75- 80% 정도이므로, 신뢰도를 높이는 방안을 간구해야만 된다는 지적이 많이 나오고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서, 적외선 체온측정 신뢰도를 향상하게 시키기 위해서, 체온 조건, 기침 조건, 혈압 조건, 당뇨 조건, 산소포화도 조건, 맥진 조건, 설진 조건을 이용해서, 기계학습 기반 및 fuzzy 추론 기반, 코로나바이러스 감염조건 위험도를 예측하는 알고리즘을 제안하고 모의실험 하였다.

Growth Characteristics of Woody Plants for Irrigation Management of Container Gardens

  • Background and objective: This study analyzed the growth characteristics, in relation to the soil moisture content, of trees planted in an environment with limited soil depth to provide the baseline data for effective irrigation management. Methods: The experimental treatment was divided into soil moisture contents (SMC) of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, and 1%, and the respective watering times were set accordingly. As for plant materials, Nandina domestica, Euonymus alatus, Thuja occidentalis, Hibiscus syriacus, Pinus densiflora, and Pyracantha angustifolia, were chosen for this study, because they are highly likely to be used in urban street environments. Results: The minimum irrigation point suitable for each species was determined by considering various aspects of visual quality and water efficiency in terms of plant growth, including characteristics such as height, root diameter, rootlet development, and weight. Our results indicate that N. domestica should be watered so that the moisture content of the soil is of at least 5%, based on the balance between the stem and roots, as well as on visual quality. E. alatus and P. angustifolia are suitable for watering that results in at least 10% SMC, considering the height, root growth, weight, and visual quality of plants. As for T. occidentalis, it showcases moderate growth with a soil moisture content of at least 5%. Finally, the minimum irrigation time required to obtain 15% SMC is appropriate, in terms of plant growth, fresh weight, and visual quality, for H. syriacus and P. densiflora. Conclusion: This study suggested a basic irrigation guideline for container gardens where trees planted in environments with limited soil depth can be managed so that they are visually appropriate and in good condition of growth.

Characteristics of injuries associated with electric personal mobility devices: a nationwide cross-sectional study in South Korea

  • Purpose: The increasing use of electric personal mobility devices (ePMDs) has been accompanied by an increasing incidence of associated accidents. This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of ePMD-related injuries and their associated factors. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted using data from the Emergency Department-based Injury In-depth Surveillance database from 2014 to 2018. All patients who were injured while operating an ePMD were eligible. The primary outcome was the rate of severe injury, defined as an excess mortality ratio-adjusted Injury Severity Score of ≥25. We calculated the adjusted odds ratios (AORs) of outcomes associated with ePMD-related injuries. Results: Of 1,391,980 injured patients, 684 (0.05%) were eligible for inclusion in this study. Their median age was 28 years old, and most injuries were sustained by men (68.0%). The rate of ePMD-related injuries increased from 3.1 injuries per 100,000 population in 2014 to 100.3 per 100,000 population in 2018. A majority of the injuries occurred on the street (32.7%). The most commonly injured area was the head and face (49.6%), and the most common diagnosis was superficial injuries or contusions (32.9%). Being aged 55 years or older (AOR, 3.88; 95% confidence interval, 1.33-11.36) and operating an ePMD while intoxicated (AOR, 2.78; 95% confidence interval, 1.52-5.08) were associated with severe injuries. Conclusions: The number of emergency room visits due to ePMD-related injuries is increasing. Old age and drunk driving are both associated with serious injuries. Active traffic enforcement and safety regulations regarding ePMDs should be implemented to prevent severe injuries caused by ePMD-related accidents.

이용자의 접근 패턴을 고려한 공공도서관 서비스 영역 생성 연구 (A Study on Generating Public Library Service Areas Considering User Access Patterns)

  • 공공도서관은 지역사회 이용자의 다양한 요구를 파악하여 이를 충족시키는 서비스를 기획하고 제공하여야 한다. 도서관 이용자에 대한 이해를 위해서는 도서관 서비스 영역에 대한 파악이 우선될 필요가 있다. 현행의 공공도서관 서비스 영역은 주로 도서관이 위치한 행정구역으로 설정되고 있어, 도서관에 대한 이용자의 실제 접근 패턴을 고려하지 못하는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 도서관이 속한 지역의 교통적 및 지리적 특성과 이용자의 도서관 접근 패턴을 반영한 서비스 영역을 생성하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 7개 특별·광역시의 502개 도서관의 도로 네트워크 데이터를 활용하여 경사도가 반영된 이동 거리와 시간을 파악하였으며, 최단 경로 알고리즘을 적용하여 도보 또는 차량으로 30분 이내 범위의 서비스 영역을 생성하였다. 그 결과 지형적 요소에 따라 도서관별 서비스 영역 양상에 차이가 발생하는 것을 확인하였으며, 이는 직선거리 기반의 서비스 영역과 비교하여 도서관 접근에 대한 현실적 여건을 더욱 잘 반영하는 것으로 판단되었다. 이러한 서비스 영역 생성 방법은 도서관의 이용자의 수, 특성, 요구를 보다 정확하게 이해하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Proposed Message Transit Buffer Management Model for Nodes in Vehicular Delay-Tolerant Network

  • This study is situated in the context of intelligent transport systems, where in-vehicle devices assist drivers to avoid accidents and therefore improve road safety. The vehicles present in a given area form an ad' hoc network of vehicles called vehicular ad' hoc network. In this type of network, the nodes are mobile vehicles and the messages exchanged are messages to warn about obstacles that may hinder the correct driving. Node mobilities make it impossible for inter-node communication to be end-to-end. Recognizing this characteristic has led to delay-tolerant vehicular networks. Embedded devices have small buffers (memory) to hold messages that a node needs to transmit when no other node is within its visibility range for transmission. The performance of a vehicular delay-tolerant network is closely tied to the successful management of the nodes' transit buffer. In this paper, we propose a message transit buffer management model for nodes in vehicular delay tolerant networks. This model consists in setting up, on the one hand, a policy of dropping messages from the buffer when the buffer is full and must receive a new message. This drop policy is based on the concept of intermediate node to destination, queues and priority class of service. It is also based on the properties of the message (size, weight, number of hops, number of replications, remaining time-to-live, etc.). On the other hand, the model defines the policy for selecting the message to be transmitted. The proposed model was evaluated with the ONE opportunistic network simulator based on a 4000m x 4000m area of downtown Bouaké in Côte d'Ivoire. The map data were imported using the Open Street Map tool. The results obtained show that our model improves the delivery ratio of security alert messages, reduces their delivery delay and network overload compared to the existing model. This improvement in communication within a network of vehicles can contribute to the improvement of road safety.

Mobile Ultra-Broadband, Super Internet-of-Things and Artificial Intelligence for 6G Visions

  • Smart applications based on the Network of Everything also known as Internet of Everything (IoE) are increasing popularity as network connectivity requires rise further. As a result, there will be a greater need for developing 6G technologies for wireless communications in order to overcome the primary limitations of visible 5G networks. Furthermore, implementing neural networks into 6G will bring remedies for the most complex optimizing networks challenges. Future 6G mobile phone networks must handle huge applications that require data and an increasing amount of users. With a ten-year time skyline from thought to the real world, it is presently time for pondering what 6th era (6G) remote correspondence will be just before 5G application. In this article, we talk about 6G dreams to clear the street for the headway of 6G and then some. We start with the conversation of imaginative 5G organizations and afterward underline the need of exploring 6G. Treating proceeding and impending remote organization improvement in a serious way, we expect 6G to contain three critical components: cell phones super broadband, very The Web of Things (or IoT and falsely clever (artificial intelligence). The 6G project is currently in its early phases, and people everywhere must envision and come up with its conceptualization, realization, implementation, and use cases. To that aim, this article presents an environment for Presented Distributed Artificial Intelligence as-a-Services (DAIaaS) supplying in IoE and 6G applications. The case histories and the DAIaaS architecture have been evaluated in terms of from end to end latency and bandwidth consumption, use of energy, and cost savings, with suggestion to improve efficiency.
