  • 이 논문에서는 Spark Stream의 Discretized Streams 모델을 기반의 그리드 인덱스를 제안하고, 이를 이용한 이동객체를 위한 연속질의 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 연속질의 처리 방법은 Spark 의 RDD 모델을 이용하여 그리드 색인 및 연속질의 목록을 구현하여, 시스템 고장 시에도 빠르게 복구할 수 있는 내 장애성을 확보 하였다.

  • Recently, the demand and traffic volume for various multimedia contents are rapidly increasing through real-time streaming platforms. In this paper, we predict real-time streaming traffic to improve the quality of service (QoS). Statistical models have been used to predict network traffic. However, since real-time streaming traffic changes dynamically, we used recurrent neural network-based deep learning models rather than a statistical model. Therefore, after the collection and preprocessing for real-time streaming data, we exploit vanilla RNN, LSTM, GRU, Bi-LSTM, and Bi-GRU models to predict real-time streaming traffic. In evaluation, the training time and accuracy of each model are measured and compared.

Distributed Moving Objects Management System for a Smart Black Box

  • In this paper, we design and implement a distributed, moving objects management system for processing locations and sensor data from smart black boxes. The proposed system is designed and implemented based on Apache Kafka, Apache Spark & Spark Streaming, Hbase, HDFS. Apache Kafka is used to collect the data from smart black boxes and queries from users. Received location data from smart black boxes and queries from users becomes input of Apache Spark Streaming. Apache Spark Streaming preprocesses the input data for indexing. Recent location data and indexes are stored in-memory managed by Apache Spark. Old data and indexes are flushed into HBase later. We perform experiments to show the throughput of the index manager. Finally, we describe the implementation detail in Scala function level.

  • In this paper, We proposed joint-modulation CDMA system for efficient streaming transmission. and, We analyzed joint-modulation CDMA system using nakagami fading model and impulsive interference model for transmission channel environment. Also, it can being compensate the performance degradation by using MRC diversity scheme and BCH coding scheme.

  • Recently, It has enlarged various service requirements for the market of elevator with the environment of IT convergency. In this paper, we propose the information and control system of elevator based on media streaming service that is extended from the existing control system of an elevator. There is the service environments based on Internet for architecture of information communication in the framework of the suggested streaming service. We use this framework to operate and integrate the various services of elevator system. And also, we so apply to the user requirements easily that we can construct the smart elevator environment by convergence home network and various electronic devices based on IT.

  • Recently an extension to DMB AF (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting Application Format) standard has been proposed in such a way that the extended DMB AF can include stereoscopic video and stereoscopic images for interactive service data, i.e., MPEG-4 BIFS (Binary Format for Scene) data, in addition to the existing 2D video and 2D images for BIFS services. In this paper we developed a service that provides the streaming of 3D contents in DMB AF by using MPEG-DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) standard and validated it by implementing the client software.

  • With the popularization of smart devices and the development of wireless Internet, the consumption method of music contents is changing to streaming rather than downloading. In this paper, we analyze the meta data of the music source exposed on the network traffic for the 19 music streaming services in Korea and abroad. We propose a preventive measure. As a result of analysis, we found that all of the 19 services were exposed to the metadata of the music. We propose a music and metadata protection method such as certificate fixing method to prevent exposure of such music and metadata.
