Recently, The concept of strategic groups is recognized as a basic unit of understanding framework in strategic management research. Researchers have consistently approached the relationship between strategic groups and organizational variables(organization structure vs strategies, management process vs strategies, management systems vs strategies, environment vs strategies, strategies vs performance). However the relationship between strategic groups and human resources has been neglected in theortical approach and empirical approach. Therefore this study explores the relationship between strategic groups and human resources management.

전략 정보 시스템(SIS)은 나름대로의 경영 전략 이론에 바탕을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 지금까지의 SIS 바탕 이론들을 되짚어 보고, 고객 가치 지향성의 중요성과 간과된 점을 지적한다. 아울러, 고객 가치 관점에 기반을 둔 새로운 SIS모델을 제시하고 있다. 거래 가시성이라는 새로운 관점을 제시하며, 정보 시스템이 거래 가시성의 변화를 야기시키는데 훌륭히 일조할 수 있으며, 고객에게 다양한 가치를 제공할 수 있음을 주장하고 있다. 다양한 유형의 거래 가시성의 변화에 맞는 사례들도 아울러 제시하여, 실무가들의 이해 가능성도 높이고자 한다.

본 연구는 자원기반관점에 있어 경쟁우위의 원천이 산업의 구조적 특성에 있는 것이 아니라 기업이 보유한 자원의 전략적 성격에 따른다는 점에 착안하고 있다. 따라서 자원기반관점에서는 특정한 자원을 보유, 개발, 유지하고자 하는 의사결정이 전략의 중심에 자리 잡게 되며, 어떠한 자원이 전략적 자원인가를 선별해내는 것이 기업의 전략경영체계에서 가장 핵심적이며, 그 출발점이 되는 작업이라고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 점에서 전략적 자원의 속성을 정의하고 이를 판별하려는 시도는 자원기반관점에서 중요하게 다루어진 이슈 중의 하나로, 특히 Barney가 제시한 VRIO Framework는 전략적 자원을 판별하기 위한 도구로 실무적으로 널리 이용되어 왔다. 그러나 VRIO Framework는 이를 구성하고 있는 핵심요소(가치, 희소성, 모방난이도, 조직)의 개념이 지나치게 포괄적으로 설명되고 있으며, 계량화가 어려운 문제점 때문에 Framework의 유효성 검증과 관련한 실증연구가 충분히 이루어 지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 2,252개 국내 기술중소기업을 대상으로 실제 기술평가사례 및 재무자료를 이용해 기술자원의 전략적 자원속성과 경쟁우위의 관계를 바탕으로 VRIO Framework의 유효성을 구조방정식에 의한 모델분석을 통해 실증적으로 검증해 보았다. 그 결과 VRIO Framework에서 제시한 전략적 자원속성(가치, 희소성, 모방난이도)은 경쟁우위에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 조직역량은 경쟁우위에 다시 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 매개적 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

Heritage buildings (HBs) as structures with historical and architectural relevance that form an integral part of contemporary society. HBs deserve to be protected for as long as possible to retain their significance. Therefore, prioritizing HB maintenance management (HBMM) is pertinent. However, the decision-making process of HBMM can be relatively daunting. The decision-making challenge may be attributed to the multiple 'stakeholders' expectation and requirement which needs to be met. To this end, professionals in the built environment have identified the need to apply the strategic concept of facilities management (FM) in decision making. However, studies exploring the application of FM in decision-making seem lacking. To bridge this gap, this study focuses on developing a framework for strategic decision-making HBMM, which helps achieve HBMM sustainability. At the study's inception, relevant works of literature in the domains of HBMM and FM were conducted. This review helped identify contemporary maintenance practices and their applicability to HBMM. Afterward, a conceptual framework to aid decision-making in HBMM was developed. This framework integrated the concept of FM scope (people, place, process, and technology) while ensuring that decisions and plans were made at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. The conceptual framework presents a holistic guide for professionals in HBMM to ensure that decision processes and outcomes are practical and efficient. It also contributes to the existing body of knowledge on the integration of FM in HBMM. Furthermore, it will help achieve HB sustainability through an effective decision-making process.

This paper presents several important status and strategic rotes for APEC Engineer Framework. Every technologies and engineering services are opened to the world and freely competed under WTO system after 1995. Most developed economics have been organized and coordinated each other within the common economic zone, such as EU, NAFTA for the mutual recognition agreement for professional engineers . Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Engineers ( APEC Engineers) has been organizing to proceed the mutual recognition agreement for professional engineers among the Asia and Pacific economic including Korea from 1996. Therefore, Korean government and civil organization, such as KPEA must monitor and investigate the activities and managements of APEC Engineers.

Given the intense competition and slowdown in domestic demands, there is greater pressure on Singapore contractors to seek overseas markets for revenue and growth. This impetus, coupled with emerging economic reforms in the regional developing countries, has invariably created numerous opportunities for Singapore contractors. However, mixed results were reported on their overseas performance so far. Consequently, this paper aims to formulate a framework that would assist Singapore contractors to successfully export their services into developing countries. The proposed framework comprises ten critical success factors (CSFs), which are identified from in-depth interviews with eight Singapore contractors. These ten success factors are subsequently classified under three different stages, namely initial, entry and operational stages. Preliminary results show that Singapore contractors are most focused on the entry stage, with the highest number of CSFs.

Knowledge management is a current management concept dealing with information gathering and implementation processes for the organizational performance advantage. The study investigates knowledge management in two perspectives: internally, Organizational information processing structure and externally, strategic issue management system. The study proposes the existence of filtering processes in the organizations. Based on this argument, the authors propose that organizations need to employ strategic issue management system for the successful implementation of knowledge management.

The rapid growth of information and communication technologies prompted the need for developing the strategic implementation framework of IT/ICT programs in universities. Here, we propose a strategic framework for the development of the IT/ICT programs in the universities of the province of Mazandaran in Iran. We use the SWOT analysis to assist the formulation of the strategy, where the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to weigh the SWOT factors and the fuzzy TOPSIS is used to evaluate the strategic plans. Based on Iran and Mazandaran Digital Indices (DI) and considering the SWOT matrix, four strategies are identified. Finally, an analytical concept, namely the strategy shooting, is considered to show the role of SWOT factors and strategic plans on the performance of the system.

This paper investigates the performance consequence of strategic changes when firms move closer to or further away from other firms in the industry. The study suggests a theoretical framework and hypotheses on the effect of strategic convergence and divergence on performance, and tests hypotheses with firm-level longitudinal data on the U.S. food processing industry during the period of 1985-2000. The study shows that strategic divergence is negatively related to performance, and that organizational size and firm-specific uncertainty significantly influence the effect of strategic convergence and divergence on financial performance. Particularly, high uncertainty seems to be conducive to financial performance improvement for organizations undergoing significant strategic changes converging toward other competitors. On the other hand, big organizational size seems to be beneficial for finns implementing strategic changesdiverging from other competitors.

Promoting energy-efficient retrofit of existing buildings to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 is critically vital and challenging. The bulk of outdated educational buildings in particular are of grave concern since they are not only have a significant negative impact on the environment but also dangerous to inhabitants'health. This study laid the groundwork for understanding the connection between occupant health and energy efficiency. This study proposes a prioritized strategic GR framework in South Korea's aging preschools. The possible prospects and levels of development in the GR plan are identified by this evaluation. Policy markers, educators, and other key stakeholders may help to create a more sustainable and healthy environment by putting the recommended framework into practice.
