CMAC 제어기를 이용한 점착 미끄럼 마찰의 제어 (Control of Stick-Slip Friction with a CMAC)

  • This paper proposes a CMAC-based controller for servo systems with stick-slip friction. Performance of the controller was evaluated from computer simulations and compared with that of a conventional PID controller. Firction model used in the simulations is based upon the one proposed by Tustin. It was shown that the CMAC-based controller settles more quickly, and overshoots less than the PID. It was also shown that the CMAC is less sensitive to the changes of the plant parameters.

  • Aerial spraying technology using a small unmanned helicopter is an efficient and practical tool to achieve stable agricultural production to improve the working condition. An attitude controller for the agricultural helicopter would be helpful to aerial application operator. In order to construct the flight controller, a state space model of the helicopter should be identified using a dynamic analysis program, such as CIFER$^{(R)}$. To obtain the state space a model of the helicopter, frequency-sweep flight tests were performed and time history data were acquired using a custom-built stick position transmitter. Four elements of stick commands were accessed for the collective pitch (heave), aileron (roll), elevator (pitch), rudder (yaw) maneuvers. The test results showed that rudder stick position signal was highly linear with rudder input channel signal of the receiver; however, collective pitch stick position signal was exponentially manipulated for the convenience of control stick handling. The acquired stick position and flight dynamic data during sweep tests would be analyzed in the followed study.

  • This paper describes a liner state-space model for a flexible stick balencer. The method employed to generate the model utilizes a separable formulation of assumed modes to represents the transverse displacement due to bending Lagrangian dynamics are applied to determine the kinetic and potential energies for the system. The resultant dynamic equations are then organized into a state space model and linearized using Taylor series expansion method. A minimum order observer is designed to estimate unmeasurable states.

가정용 스틱형 통합리모콘의 UI 디자인 연구 (A Study on the UI Design of Stick-type Intergrated Remote Controller for Domestic Use)

  • 이 연구는 가정에서 그 중요성이 증가하고 있는 통합리모콘을 좀 더 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 디자인하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 방법으로 대중성 있는 기존 제품의 UI체계를 통합리모콘의 UI체계로 적용하여 학습이 용이하고 사용성이 향상된 가정용 통합리모콘 UI디자인 대안을 개발하고 그 사용 용이성을 평가하는 연구를 진행하였다. 기존의 대중성 있는 제품으로는 UI디자인 개발 대상인 스틱형 통합리모콘과 사용방법이 유사한 휴대폰을 선정하였다. 선정한 휴대폰 UI의 공통적 특성을 도출하여 그 내용을 최대한 적용한 가정용 스틱형 통합리모콘의 디자인 안을 제작하였다. 플래시로 제작한 이 디자인 대안의 프로토타입으로 2회의 파일럿 테스트를 실시하여 최종 실험연구용 프로토타입 제작과 관련된 개선내용을 추출 하였다. 그리고 물리적인 조작, 피드백 측면에서의 사용 실제감을 보완한 버튼 프로토타입을 제작하여, 20대 대학생 41명을 대상으로 개발된 가정용 스틱형 통합리모콘의 새로운 UI디자인에 대한 사용성 평가를 진행하였다. 실험 결과 대중성 있는 기존 제품의 UI를 활용한 가정용 스틱형 통합리모콘은 사용성 향상에 기여할 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며 이 연구내용은 향후 가정용 스틱형 통합리모콘의 새로운 UI디자인 개발 연구의 좋은 모델이 될 수 있다고 판단된다.

SLIDING MODE MOULD LEVEL CONTROL IN CONTINUOUS CASTING PROCESS

  • Mould level control system for continuous casting process involves stick-slip friction in the sliding gate , time-delay, non-linearity, and certain uncertainties such as friction force variations between molten steel and the inner wall of mould. In this paper, sliding mode control technique was used to solve these complex control problem. The controller is then designed and implemented onto the continuous casting process. Testing result shows that sliding mode controller can decrease the fluctuating magnitude of the mould level and is superior to the existing PID controller.

원격조종항공기 드론 조종기모드 표준화 연구 : 드론 조종기모드 선호도를 중심으로 (A Study on Standardization on the Flight Controller Mode in Remotely Piloted Aircraft Drone : Focused on Drone Controller Mode Preference)

  • Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) controls as a type of unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) is growing rapidly and its flight controller stick disposition is required standardization. We should standardize RPA drone flight control disposition because the flight pilot of RPA is hard to be trained so the flight controller stick differences impairs safety and wastes time and effort of flight controller industry. So this study researches the on-going standardization of RPA drone flight control disposition in Korea and foreign countries. Also this paper analyzes and researches of expert about RPA drone flight controller function and application of flight control mode. I accomplished expert research about standardization plan of unmanned flight control mode and confirm the necessity. Nowadays mode1 and 2 are mostly used in Korea so I carried out preference investigation for two modes. There were 4 preferences choices of RPA drone control mode necessity (importance) and recommendation of standardization modes. They answered that necessity of standardization is important considering pilot training, flight safety and positive development of drone industry. The result of standardization mode preference is that they prefer mode 2 (drone maker 86%, training facilities and research facilities 58%, government bureau 60%). Overall preference result shows that mode 1 24%, mode 1&2 16%, mode 2 60%. So they preferred mode 2 by 60%. The differences between two modes are the direction of throttle and pitch. Direction of throttle and pitch operate opposite way. They prefer mode 2 because mode 2 has similarities of manned flight control mode. Significance of this study is that it showed the necessity of standardization and flight control preference in a quantitative way. It will help drone standardization in related industries and development direction near future.

  • Generally, the principle function of simulator control loading system is to provide the pilot or student with the "feel" of the actual aircraft flight control systems during flight, taxing, and in malfunction. Flight control "feel" is the resistance felt by the pilot when moving a control stick or pedal, coupled with the amount of control surface deflection, and hence aircraft response, resulting from the input. Therefore, the control loading servo must be capable of performing to some general list of requirements derived from real aircraft control forces. In this paper, we deal with a $\mu-controller$ design for a control loading system of the flight simulator. For this, we derive a frequency response of the hydraulic system from the identification data and then design a controller using a $\mu-synthesis$ method. Under the same condition of simulation, $\mu-controller$ provides the superior performance than PID controller.than PID controller.

  • For self-guiding track-type orchard sprayer, a low-cost steering controller was developed using two ultrasonic sensors, two DC motors and 80196kc microprocessor. The operating principle of controller was to travel the sprayer between artificial targets such as wood stick placed every 1 m along both sides of the demanded path of speed sprayer. Measuring distances to both targets ahead with the ultrasonic sensors mounted on the front end of sprayer, the controller could determine how much offset the position of sprayer was laterally. Then the steering angle was calculated to actuate DC motors connected to the steering clutches, where the fuzzy control algorithm was used. Equipped with the controller developed in this research, the sprayer could be traveled along demanded path, the centerline between targets, at speeds of up to 0.4m/sec with an accuracy of ${\pm}$20cm.

마찰이 있는 서보의 변형된 시지연제어 (Modified Time Delay Control for Servo with Friction)

  • A new algorithm based upon TDC (Time Delay Control) is proposed to improve the robustness of TDC performance in systems where the stick-slip friction is strong. Experiments were performed at the different levels of friction. The reponses of the TDC and the modified TDC were compared each other, and against those of a PID controller with an anti-windup. The results show that the TDC and the modified TDC equally perform better than the PID, and that the modified TDC performs consistently well even with variations in the friction level while the TDC does not.

안정성증강 작동기와 트림 작동기를 이용한 헬리콥터 자세명령반응타입 제어시스템 설계 (Helicopter Attitude Command Response Type Control System Design using SAS Actuators and Trim Actuators)

  • Attitude command response type required for enhanced handling qualities of helicopter can be implemented by mechanical automatic flight control system with SAS actuators which have limited authorities. However, the early saturation of SAS actuator hinders the helicopter from following the attitude command for large stick command. Auto-trim controller can delay SAS actuator's saturation by utilizing trim actuators and allows the attitude command response type for larger stick command. This paper describes the control law for limited authority system of helicopter with auto-trim. Limited authority system is applied to BO-105 linear dynamic model and simulation is performed along with handling quality analysis.
