SRP(Stress Reduction Program)을 적용하여 호전된 공황장애 48세 남환 치험 1례 (A Clinical Report about Panic Disorder Patient imporved by Stress Reduction Program)

  • The SRP program(stress reduction program) is reported has a good effect to patient to escape from anxiety. To reduce several symptoms due to anxiety, we performed some SRP programs to our patient who had suffered anxiety disorder. The measurement tools of patient's improvement we used are Heart Rate Variability and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. Through this programs, symptoms and feeling of anxiety were decreased than first time and Autonomic nerve system balance was much improved. this is caused by effort of self-control meditation, mindfullness, breathing instruction and muscle relaxation program.

Relationship between time management and anxiety of Occupation Therapy students

  • Time management skills are essential for Occupation Therapy students' success, and development of clinical competence. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between time management skills and anxiety and academic motivation of nursing students. This study was carried out on 95 Occupation Therapy students. Data were collected using demographic Questionnaire, Time Management Questionnaire (TMQ), Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) and Academic Motivation Scale (AMS), which was completed t by self-report. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 software with descriptive and analytical statistics such as ANOVA, independent t-test, Regression and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The results also showed a statistically significant negative correlation between the students' TMQ scores and the state anxiety (r= -0.282, p< 0.005) and trait anxiety scores (r= -0.325, p<0.005). Moreover, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the students' TMQ scores and AMS scores (r= 0.279, p< 0.005). Regarding the findings, it seems that it is necessary to plan for improving time management skills in order to enhance academic motivation and reduce anxiety rates among Occupation Therapy students.

척추환자 대상 수술 전 구조화된 동영상 교육프로그램이 수술 후 불안과 자가간호 이행에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Structured Education Program Using CD-ROM on Anxiety and Self-Care Compliance in Patients Undergoing Orthopedic Spinal Surgery)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of CD-ROM education on anxiety and self-care compliance in patients undergoing spinal surgery. Method: This study used a nonequivalent control time difference design. A sample of 51 participants received both CD-ROM education (n=25) or booklet education (n=26) regarding spinal surgery procedure and postoperative self-care. The data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire containing State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI Form Y-2), Visual analog scale, and self-care compliance. Result: The level of trait anxiety in the experimental group was not significantly different from that in the control group (t=-6.44, p=.523). The level of state anxiety in the experimental group was significantly lower than in that the control group according to time changes (F=4.17, p=.018). State anxiety showed significantly negative correlation to self-care compliance (r=-.30, p=.034). Conclusion: The education program using CD-ROM for spinal surgery patients can be applied to nursing practice for relieving state anxiety and promoting self-care compliance.

마황복용이 성인여성의 상태-특성 불안에 미치는 영향: 무작위배정 이중맹검 임상연구 (Effects of Ephedra on the State-Trait Anxiety in Female Adults: A Double-Blind Randomized Controlled Study)

  • Background : Over a thousand years of clinical preparation of Ephedrain traditional Korean medicine has confirmed effectiveness and security. Recently. Ephedra-containing herbal preparations to treat obesity are common. The aim of this study is to identify effects of Ephedra on psychological anxiety. Objectives : To determine effects of Ephedraon psychoactivity and autonomic nervous system. Methods : The study design was a double-blind randomized controlled trial. The subjects of this study were healthy adults. They were allocated to either the Ephedragroup (N =66) or the placebo group (N =32), Ephedra(8 g) or a placebo in similar opaque capsules was given twice a day for 2 weeks. Anxiety score was estimated with State-Trait Anxiety Inventory before first and after last medication. 36 of the Ephedragroup and 24 of the placebo group finished the trial and were analyzed. Paired samples T-test and independent samples T-test were applied to statistical analysis. Results : The following result was obtained: After taking Ephedra. state anxiety increased significantly. In the placebo group. both state and trait anxiety increased although significance was not reached. Conclusions : It is concluded that the intake of Ephedraplays a significant role in the increase of anxiety in healthy adults. It is suggested that anxiety level change should be considered when using Ephedra in clinics.

생태체험장 봉사활동이 영재학생들의 환경민감도 및 상태-특성불안에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Volunteer Work at the Place of Ecology Experience on the Environmental Sensitivity & State-Trait Anxiety of the Gifted Students)

  • Today, the importance of environmental education is a matter we are all concerned about. The environment surrounding us, such as the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil plants grow in, is critical for our survival. Currently there is a lot of interest in environmental education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. This is a result of the deep recognition of the importance of the environment. However the environmental education being conducted in schools is not yet at a satisfactory level. The practical issues, including an entrance exam-oriented atmosphere, student' and parents' lack of understanding, and teachers' lack of expertise in environmental education, interfere with the stability of environmental curriculum in the schools. Accordingly, we need to devise an alternative environmental curriculum due to the fact that it hasn't been included as a regular subject in the curriculum of many national schools. This study, carried out from April to December 2009, was an examination of the effect of volunteer work at the place of ecology experience on the environmental sensitivity & state-trait anxiety of the 61 Gifted Students. The students were divided into two groups. The test group consisted of 30 gifted students who did volunteer work at the place of ecology experience run by Ulsan Science High School, in Ulsan Metropolitan City. The control group consisted of the rest of the students. The following are the study results: First, the volunteer work at the place of ecology experience was influential in increasing the environmental sensitivity of the gifted students. Second, the volunteer work at the place of ecology experience was influential in decreasing the state anxiety of in gifted students. Third, the volunteer work at the place of ecology experience was influential in decreasing the trait anxiety of in gifted students. Fourth, the volunteer work at the place of ecology experience positively influenced not only the gifted students' view of environmental education, but also their overall character.

시험불안과 정신병리, 기질 그리고 가정환경 간의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 - 시험불안-우울-불안-자기개념-가정환경간의 인과적 관계분석 - (A STUDY ON THE STRUCTURAL RELATIONSHIP AMONG TEST ANXIETY, PSYCHOPATHOLOGY, TEMPERAMENT & FAMILY ENVIRONMENT)

  • 서 론:시험불안은 한국의 청소년들이 공통적으로 경험하는 불안이라고 할 수 있다. 경우에 따라서는 어느 정도의 시험불안은 학습을 촉진시키기도 하지만 대부분의 경우에 학습을 저해시키는 요인으로 작용한다. 지난 수십 년 동안 시험불안의 요인이나 특성에 대하여 많은 연구들이 있어왔으나 단편적이며, 시험불안의 정확한 특성이나 원인에 대하여 아직 밝혀져 있지 않은 상태이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시험불안의 특성을 규명하기 위하여 시험불안과 상태-특성불안, 우울증, 기질 그리고 가정환경과의 상호관련성에 관하여 알아보았다. 방 법:서울시내 한 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 하여 시험불안, 우울증, 상태-특성불안, 기질 그리고 가정환경에 대하여 신뢰도와 타당도가 입증된 평가도구를 사용하여 상관성을 검증하였다. 결 과:시험불안과 우울(상관계수 0.42, p<0.01), 특성불안(상관계수 0.34, p<0.05), 상태불안(상관계수 0.38, p<0.05), 자기개념(상관계수 -0.05, p<0.01), 기질(상관계수 0.36, p<0.05), 그리고 가정환경(상관계수 -0.23, p<0.05)과의 상관성은 모두 의미 있는 정적 또는 부적 상관성을 보여 주었다. 회귀분석 결과 상태불안과 특성불안은 시험불안의 직접적인 원인으로 판정되었으나 우울, 기질 그리고 가정환경은 시험불안에 대하여 간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 결 론:이상의 결과로 미루어 상태불안과 특성불안은 시험불안의 직접적인 요인으로 작용하나 우울, 기질 그리고 가정환경은 상태 또는 특성불안을 통하여 간접적으로 시험불안에 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 시험불안에 대한 치료적인 대책을 수립할 때에는 이러한 요인들이 고려되어야 한다.한다. 기질양상의 조기 발견은 부모들에게 의사 소통 장애 아동들의 발달학적 특성을 이해하고 이들에게 적절한 양육을 제공하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.주제와 정서 반응사이의 상관관계를 살펴보면, 공격적 주제(r=0.28)와 반항적 주제(r=0.29)는 고통의 감정 반응과 유의미한 양적 상관관계를 보였고 친사회적 주제는 근심(r=-0.29), 불안(r=-0.43)과 유의미한 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 이상의 결과에 의하면 정서적인 갈등을 야기하는 놀이 상황에서 학령전기 아동들은 부정적인 정신적 표상을 흔히 보였으며 부모들은 자신들을 도와주는 긍정적인 표상으로 나타남을 알 수 있다. 또한 공격적 주제를 많이 보이는 아동들은 부정적인 정서 반응과 부모에 대해 부정적인 정신적 표상을 많이 나타냄을 알 수 있다.학적인 면으로는 UHT 처리유의 품질이 저장 9일까지 큰 변화가 없으나, 관능적인 면으로는 이취의 발생으로 인한 품질 저하가 유발된다고 사료된다. 그러나 LTLT와 HTST 처리유의 경우는 반대의 양상을 보였다. 따라서 미생물적인 면과 괸능적면 모두를 감안한다면 현재의 유통기간 5일이 LTLT나 HTST 처리유에게는 적합한 것으로, UHT 처리유에게는 5일 이상도 가능하리라 사료된다.양성의 상관관계가 있었고 과잉행동성과 음성의 상관관계가 있었다. 과잉행동성과 충동성, 강박성, 야뇨증, 자기파괴적 행동사이에 통계적으로 유의한 양성의 상관관계가 있었다. 환자의 강박증상의 정도와 과잉행동성, 수면장애, 자기파괴적 행동 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 양성의 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구 결과 저자들은 외래에 내원한 뚜렛장애 환자의 임상적 특성이나 동반된 행동상 문제들이 이전 연구와 크게 상이하지 않음을

항강통(項强痛)과 스트레스 분노 불안 우울의 상관관계 (The Relationships between stress, anger, anxiety, depression and neck pain)

  • Objectives : The objective of this study was to observe the relationships between neck pain and psychological factors such as stress, anger, anxiety and depression. Methods: Under mental stress. the 31 patients with neck stiffness and 32 control subjects with no neck stiffness were measured by using NDI, BEPSI, GARS, STAXI, STAI, and BDI scales. The psychological scales between the patients and the controls were taken to observe the average results by comparing between the two groups. Also NDI and psychological scales of correlation analysis was performed. Results: 1. The mean scores of NDI, BEPSI, GARS, State-Anger, Trait-Anger, Anger-out, Anger-In, Sate-Anxiety, TraitAnxiety, and BDI under patients group were significantly higher than those in control group. 2. The value of NDI comparing to the values of BEPSI, GARS, State-Anger, Trait-Anger, Anger-out, Anger-In, Sate-Anxiety, Trait-Anxiety, and BDI in this study resulted in high correlation among each others which showed statistically significant. Conclusions : It has the possibility that the neck pain with stress. anxiety. anger and depression might be related highly in correlation. especially in stress and anxiety which showed the most high correlation.

불안 장애 환자에서 바이오피드백 훈련과 약물치료의 병합 효과 분석 - 임상 특성을 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Therapeutic Effect of Combined Biofeedback Training with Pharmacotherapy for Patients with Anxiety Disorder-Focused on Clinical Characteristics)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effect of combined biofeedback training with pharmacotherapy for patients with anxiety disorder. Methods : 12 patients with panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder were enrolled this study. They were tested for State Trait Anxiety Inventory-State (STAI-S), State Trait Anxiety Inventory-Trait (STAI-T), Beck's Depression Inventory (BDI) and Symptom CheckList-90-Revision Somatization (SCL-90-R-SOM) before and after the biofeedback training program. Results : The score of STAI-T (p=0.023) and BDI (p=0.0018) were the significantly decreased after the biofeedback training program. In Female group, the score of STAI-T (p=0.028), STAI-S (p=0.028) and BDI (p=0.009) were significantly decreased after the biofeedback training program. In the group which age is lower than 40 years old, the score of BDI (p=0.046) were significantly decreased after the biofeedback training program. In Panic disorder group, the score of STAI-S (p=0.046) were significantly decreased after the biofeedback training program. Conclusion : The result of this study is useful for the treating the anxiety disorder patients using the biofeedback training program.

불안(不安), 우울(憂鬱), 분노(忿怒) 척도를 이용한 홧병환자의 임상양태(臨床樣態)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Clinical States in Hwabyung Patient used Anxiety, Depression & Anger Scale)

  • This study was designed and undertaken to identify objectively the degree and relationship of anxiety, depression, & anger which are chief essential elements of emotional status in Hwabyung patients.The subjects in this study were 35 Hwabyung patients and 40 Non-Hwabyung persons, and for the assessment of anxiety, depression, & anger. We used Zung's Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) & State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory(STAXI).The results of this study are as follows:1. There were significant differences in the 18 items of SAS among 20 items between Hwabyung patients and the control group(p<0.05 respectively).2. There were significant differences in the 13 items of SDS among 20 items between Hwabyung patients and the control group(p<0.05 respectively).3. There were significant differences in the mean scores of SAS and SDS between Hwabyung patients and the control group(p<0.001 respectively).4. There were significant differences in the mean scores of State Anger, Trait Anger, Trait Anger/Temperament, Anger-in & Anger-out counted by STAXI between Hwabyung patients and the control group (p<0.001, p<0.01, p<0.001, p<0.001, p<0.05 respectively).5. There were significant relationships between State Anger & Anxiety, Anger-out & Trait Anger/Temperament, Depression & Anxiety(r=.43, r=.37, r=.64).

전수면박탈이 정상인의 불안, 기분, 졸리움 및 피로도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Total Sleep Deprivation on Anxiety, Mood, Sleepiness and Fatigue)

  • 목 적 : 저자들은 40시간의 전수면박탈을 시행하여 수면 박탈이 정상인의 불안, 기분, 졸리움, 피로감에 어떠한 영향을 주는 지를 평가하고, 동시에 개인의 평소의 불안 성향이 수면박탈에 의한 상태불안, 기분, 졸리움, 피로감에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 연구하고자 하였다. 방 법 : 대학생 중 정신적, 신체적으로 건강하며 수면각성주기에 이상이 없는 자원자 29명(남:여=22:7, 평균 연령=$24.59{\pm}1.35$)을 대상으로 하였다. 피험자들은 전날 충분한 수면을 취한 후 기상하였으며 이후 다음날 오후 10시까지 총 40시간동안 수면박탈을 시행하였다. 상태-특성불안척도, 일반기분척도, 스텐포드 졸리움 척도, 피로도 설문을 3시간 간격으로 시행하였으며 이의 시간에 따른 변화를 분석하였고, 또한 피험자의 평소 불안성향에 따라서 상태불안, 기분, 졸리움, 피로도의 변화에 어떠한 차이가 있는 지를 살펴보았다. 결 과 : 수면박탈에 따라서 상태불안은 증가하며, 기분은 부정적이 되며, 졸리움과 피로도가 증가하였다(p<.001). 특성불안이 높은 군과 낮은 군을 나누어 비교하였을 때, 상태 불안은 특성불안이 높은 군과 낮은 군간에 차이가 있었으나(p<.05) 상태불안의 증가 양상의 차이가 있는 것은 아니었다. 기분은 특성불안이 높은 군과 낮은 군간에 차이가 없었으나(p>.05) 기분의 변화의 양상과 특성불안사이에는 교호작용이 있어(p<.05), 특성불안이 높은 군에서 수면박탈에 따라서 기분의 악화가 심하였다. 또한 수면박탈에 의한 상태불안, 부정적 정서, 졸리움, 피로도의 변화는 새벽 4시에서 아침 7시 사이에 심한 악화를 보였다. 결 론 : 본 연구의 결과는 수면박탈이 졸리움을 유발하고, 부정적인 기분과 불안감 및 피로도를 증가시킨다는 것을 보여준다. 개인적 특성으로서의 특성불안의 수준에 따라 수면박탈에 의한 일반적 기분상태의 악화가 보여진다. 또한 수면박탈에 의한 상태불안, 부정적 정서, 졸리움, 피로도의 변화는 일주기 리듬의 영향으로 새벽에 심한 악화를 보여 실제생활에서 주의를 요한다.
