상태 공간 외란관측기를 이용한 강인 제어기법 연구 (The study of Robust Control using a State-Space Disturbance Observer)

  • In this paper, we propose a robust control technique against parameter uncertainties as well as external disturbances. It is robust control scheme using discrete-time state space disturbance observer. It does not require disturbance modeling, plant inverse modeling and/or Q filter. In frequency domain, its performance is evaluated in terms of sensitivity and complementary sensitivity as well as gain and phase margin. Finally we discuss design criterion of state space disturbance observer considering its performance in frequency domain.

강인한 제어를 위한 수중이동시스템의 상태추정에 대한 연구 (The State Estimation by Unknown Disturbance Observer of Underwater Vehicle System for Robust Control)

  • 본 연구에서는 외부의 알 수 없는 외란을 포함한 수중이동시스템의 상태를 추정하는 추정방법을 제시하였다. 우선, 수중이동시스템의 동력학적 운동방정식을 수직평면과 수평평면에 대하여 확장 테일러 전개법에 의하여 각각 유도하였다. 수중이동시스템에서 바다표면의 파랑, 주류, 바람 등과 같이 측정하기 어려운 외력을 시스템의 외란으로 간주하였으며, 이러한 외란을 시스템에 대한 외부 입력으로 고려하였다. 본 연구에서는 위와 같은 외부에서 가해지는 잘 알려지지 않은 외란 등에 대해 전혀 영향을 받지 않는 미지외란 관측기를 제안하였으며, 제안된 관측기가 미지외란에 대해서 영향을 받지 않음을 증명하였다. 또한, 수중이동시스템의 강인한 제어를 위해 수치적인 시뮬레이션을 통하여 본 미지 외란 관측기의 유효성을 확인하였다.

Guidance Law for Near Space Interceptor based on Block Backstepping Sliding Mode and Extended State Observer

  • This paper proposes a novel guidance law based on the block backstepping sliding mode control and extended state observer (ESO), which also takes into account the autopilot dynamic characteristics of the near space interceptor (NSI), and the impact angle constraint of attacking the maneuvering target. Based on the backstepping control approach, the target maneuvers and the parameter uncertainties of the autopilot are regarded as disturbances of the outer loop and inner loop, respectively. Then, the ESO is constructed to estimate the target acceleration and the inner loop disturbance, and the block backstepping sliding model guidance law is employed, based on the estimated disturbance value. Furthermore, in order to avoid the "explosion of complexity" problem, first-order low-pass filters are also introduced, to obtain differentiations of the virtual control variables. The stability of the closed-loop guidance system is also proven, based on the Lyapunov theory. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed guidance law can not only overcome the influence of the autopilot dynamic delay and target maneuvers, but also obtain a small miss distance.

  • Auto Guided Vehicle (AGV) equipped with mecanum wheels can move in all directions, unlike ordinary wheeled AGVs. In this paper, we propose a robust trejectory tracking control method for the mecanum wheeled AGVs in the presence of disturbances. It is constructed by combining impedance control with Integral Sliding Mode Control (ISMC), which shows robust performance against disturbances, and adding a disturbance observer (DOB) that estimates and removes disturbances. Simulation result using MATLAB/SIMULINK shows that the proposed control method has robust performance in tracking the reference trajectory under the circumstance with disturbance. The control performance is further improved when the disturbance observer is additionally used. In addition, the performance of the proposed control method was verified through experiment. It shows the result of tracking the set trajectory well.

  • 재진입 제어계에서는 항력가속도의 시간미분을 해석적으로 추정하므로 오차가 발생되기 쉽다. 더구나, 극초음속 영역에서의 정확한 항력계수 추정의 어려움과 스케일 고도의 비현실성도 정상상태오차의 원인이 된다. 우주왕복선의 경우, 제어계에 항력가속도 오차의 적분항을 첨가함으로서 정상상태 오차를 줄이는 방법을 취하였지만 페루프 시스템에 다극점을 갖게 하여 현대적인 제어기 합성에 어려움을 가져다 준다. 그러므로, 본 논문에서는 해석적 계산에 의해서 항력가속도 시간미분에 포함된 오차를 추정하고, 그 추정오차를 이용해 항력가속도 시간미분을 보정함으로써 정상상태 오차를 줄이는 방법인 외란 관측기의 설계를 제안하고자 한다. 결과로는 32개의 기준궤적을 대상으로 대기권 재진입 시스템의 성능을 검증해 본다.

  • This paper deals with an estimation method for sideslip angle by using an unknown disturbance observation technique in 4WS passenger car systems. Firstly, a 4WS vehicle model with 3DOF is derived under the constant velocity and same tyres properties. The vehicle dynamics is transformed into the linear state space model with considering the external disturbances. Secondly, and unknown disturbance observer is introduced and its property which estimating the states of system without any disturbance information is shown. Lastly, the estimated sideslip angle of the 4WS vehicle system is verified through numerical simulation.

A Realization of Reduced-Order Detection Filters

  • In this paper, we deal with the problem of reducing the order of the detection filter for the linear time-invariant system. Even if the detection filter is generally designed in the form of full order linear observer, we show that it is possible to reduce its order when the response of fault signals is limited to a subspace of the estimation state space. We propose a method to extract the subspace using the observer canonical form considering the dynamics related to the remaining subspace acts as a disturbance. We designed a reduced order detection filter to reject the disturbance as well as to guarantee fault detection and isolation. A simulation result for a 5th order system is presented as an illustrative example of the proposed design method.

  • Self servo track writing(SSTW)은 servo track writer(STW)를 이용하지 않고 hard disk drive의 내부 VCM을 이용하여 servo track을 기록하는 방식이다. SSTW는 이전 servo track을 상대적인 reference로 하여 기록하게 되므로 초기에 발생된 error와 외부의 disturbance의 영향으로 error는 급속하게 증가된다. 이것을 radial error propagation 이라 한다. 본 논문에서는 radial error propagation을 억제하기 위한 correction signal을 설계하고 servo writing 과정에서 발생하는 disturbance의 영향을 제거하기 위하여 disturbance observer(DOB)를 add-on type으로 구성하여 tracking 제어기를 설계하였다. 또한 DOB를 적용한 경우와 유사한 gain margin, phase margin과 sensitivity function을 갖는 제어기를 설계하여 그 성능을 비교하였다. 제안된 방식은 radial error propagation을 억제 하였을 뿐만 아니라 disturbance의 최소화하여 쓰여진 track의 DC track spacing과 AC track Squeeze가 개선된 것을 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

외란관측기를 이용한 볼스크류 구동 2축 서보계의 최적튜닝 (Optimal Tuning of a Ballscrew Driven Biaxial Servo System)

  • In this paper, optimal tuning of a cross-coupled controller linked with the feedforward controller and the disturbance observer is studied to improve contouring and tracking accuracy as well as robustness against disturbance. Previously developed integrated design and optimal tuning methods are applied for developing the robust tuning method. Strict mathematical modeling of the multivariable system is formulated as a state-space equation. Identification processes of the servomechanism are conducted for mechanical servo models. An optimal tuning problem to minimize both the contour error and settling time is formulated as a nonlinear constrained optimization problem including the relevant controller parameters of the servo control system. Constraints such as relative stability, robust stability and overshoot, etc. are considered for the optimization. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed optimal tuning procedure, linear and circular motion experiments are performed on the xy-table. Experimental results confirm the control performance and robustness despite the variation of parameters of the mechanical subsystems.
