  • The large increase in the number of students and the current rapid social change requires the expansion of educational facilities for the improvement of the educational content and its method, the usefulness of educational media, and the improvement of teaching and learning activities. The educational facilities have largely served is done efficiently and it results in a functional harmony of these two aspects. In order to maximize this harmony, and thus maximize the efficiency of school education, we must analyze the human engineering factors of educational facilities through human being that is the main subject of education, humans. Therefore to maximize the efficiency of school education, we must analyze the human engineering factors of educational facilities through human being that is the main subject in learning and living. In Conclusion we suggest the following six analying standards on human engineering of educational facilities; 1. adequacy 2. suitability 3. healthfulness 4. safety 5. beauty 6. modernity.

농촌마을 커뮤니티시설의 적정 면적 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Area Calculation of Community Facilities in Rural Villages)

  • 우리나라 농촌마을의 마을회관, 노인정, 쉼터 등은 농촌마을의 대표적인 커뮤니티시설로서 공동생활이 일상화된 농촌 주민들의 생활에 직 간접적으로 중요한 영향을 끼치며, 생활환경의 질적 향상과 주민들의 문화 의식이 높아짐에 따라 그 중요성은 더욱 높아지고 있는 실정 이다. 그러나, 현재 농촌마을 커뮤니티시설의 현황은 양적인 측면과 질적인 측면에서 모두 열악한 실정이다. 특히 커뮤니티공간의 협소함과 프로그램의 획일화에 대한 문제점은 우리나라 농촌마을이 갖고 있는 공통적인 문제점이라고 할 수 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위한 구체적인 대응방안 모색에 미흡하다. 따라서 농촌마을 주민들의 생활환경 개선과 계절별 연령별로 즐길 수 있는 다양한 커뮤니티활동을 수용하기 위하여 농촌마을 커뮤니티공간의 적정면적 제안을 위한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 농촌마을 대표적인 5가지 유형의 커뮤니티시설인 마을회관, 노인정, 쉼터, 마을마당, 운동공간 및 놀이공간의 적정 면적기준을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하며, 향후 농촌마을 커뮤니티시설 계획에 활용될 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 농촌마을 커뮤니티시설 공간 면적 산정에 관한 기존연구 조사, 전국5개도 25개 농촌마을 지역 현황조사, 만족도조사를 통하여 커뮤니티시설별 적정한 면적기준을 산출하였다. 연구 결과 도출된 커뮤니티시설별 적정기준은 현재 대표적 커뮤니티시설별 평균 면적을 상회하는 결과로서 농촌마을 커뮤니티시설 환경 개선과 주민들의 커뮤니티활동 및 의식 성장에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

학교교육 시설 개선을 위한 가구디자인 연구 (School Furniture Desing For the Betterment of Educational Environment)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the issues of today's school furniture systems and propose the new standards for tomorrow's school furniture design. For the improvement of the educational environments, the school furniture need to be reformed very badly. The present educational furniture is very falling behind in safety, function, ergonomics and its aesthetics. The classroom tables and chairs should be comfortable in physical and psychological aspects and accommodates the practical use in order to raise the student's efficiency of learning. In this study, the new design and ergonomic standards of the chairs and tables are proposed by comparing other national standards and analyzing the problems of the present educational facilities.

  • 본 연구는 학교시설의 장애물 없는 생활환경(BF)인증이 의무화됨에 따라 학교시설에 대한 장애물 없는 생활환경(BF)인증 평가지표에 대한 기초연구로, 장애물 없는 생활환경(BF)인증 평가지표를 바탕으로 학교시설의 편의시설 설치현황을 조사 및 분석하여 학교시설에 적합한 장애물 없는 생활환경(BF)인증 평가지표의 개선방향성을 모색하고자 하였다. 우수시설학교로 선정된 조사대상학교의 편의시설 중 매개시설, 내부시설의 현황과 장애물 없는 생활환경(BF)인증 평가지표를 비교분석한 결과, 배점획득항목에 따라 학교시설에 기 반영되어진 항목과 중 하위 배점 기준으로 최소로 반영되어지는 항목으로 분류될 수 있었으며, 기 반영되는 항목은 배점기준의 변별력이 다소 미흡하여 배점 기준 등의 개선이 필요하다. 누구나 이용하기 편리한 학교시설을 위해 중 하위 배점을 획득하는 항목에 대해 기준개선 및 배점 조정으로 질적 향상을 이끌어내야 한다.

학교시설의 친환경건축 조성기법과 실태에 관한 사례 연구 -생태환경부분을 중심으로- (A Case Study on the Actual Condition and Composition Method of Environment-Friendly Architecture of the School Facilities -Focused on Ecological Environment-)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of certification schools of environment-friendly architecture and general school per ecological environment elements through extracting ecological environment elements which is possible to analyze in quantity certification standards of environment-friendly architecture. As the method of the study, first, certification as an examination on certification system of environment-friendly architecture, summary of certification system of environment-friendly architecture and eco-school pilot model project in japan, ecological environment elements which is possible for quantitative analysis of ecological environment certification standards were extracted. Second, actual condition of ecological environment elements per school grade(middle school of environment-friendly architecture and general middle school) by collecting actual data of certification schools environment friendly architecture were analyzed and the results are as the follows. The average of ecological area ratio was 28.3 percent in case of this certification regardless of school grade and region and it was analyzed that the natural based green area ratio was 26.5 percent, bio-tope area ratio was 0.4 percent and ecological learning places area ratio was 0.45 percent.

소규모 유치원.초등학교 건축의 개념 규정 연구 - 대도시 고밀도지역을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Definition of Minimum-sized Kindergarten and Elementary School)

  • The present, there are no evident standards about facilities of minimum-sized kindergarten and lower grades elementary school. So, there are many serious obstacles that related laws and regulations, planning for facilities and scales in this country. Accordingly, this study proposed the concept, type, and size of minimum-sized kindergarten and lower grades elementary school, in case big cities of high density. 1. The concept of minimum-sized kindergarten and lower grades elementary school is defined to the large scale school and class, that integration of children of kindergarten into lower grades elementary school. 2. The type of minimum-sized kindergarten and lower grades elementary school is classified into branch school type and detached school type. The former is located in the main elementary school, The latter is separated from the main elementary school. And each type is classified into singleness case and attached case. 3. The number of students per minimum-sized kindergarten and lower grades elementary school is hold from two hundred children to three hundred children in 12 classes, but suitability is from one hundred to two hundred children. And class sizes proposed $20{\sim}25$ children in minimum-sized kindergarten and $25{\sim}30$ children in lower grades elementary school.

학교안전기준 내용 및 형식에 대한 현장 전문가의 인식 분석 (An analysis of field experts' perceptions of the content and format of school safety standards)

  • 본 연구는 안전한 학교 실현을 위한 학교의 역할과 책임을 명확히 하기 위하여 학교안전기준의 내용과 형식을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학교안전기준이 학교 현장에서 운영하는데 어려움을 교육행정사무관, 장학사, 연구사 총 26명으로 4개의 소그룹으로 나누어 현장 전문가의 의견을 청취하고 관련 자료를 분석하였다. 결과적으로 학교안전기준안에 대한 시도교육청에 재직하고 있는 교육행정사무관, 장학사, 연구사의 심층 면담을 종합적으로 분석하여, 학교안전기준 개발의 필요성, 학교안전기준 내용의 적정성, 학교안전기준 형식의 적절성, 학교안전기준안의 현장 적용성 등 넷 측면에서 결과를 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교안전기준 개발 방향 설정에 관한 내용이다. 둘째, 학교안전기준 체계 및 내용 탐구에 관한 내용이다. 셋째, 학교안전기준 내용 초안 마련에 관한 내용이다.

인천 'S' 초등학교 학교 도서관 구축 프로젝트 (Interior Project of IN-CHEON 'S' Elementary School Library)

  • This present study purposed to propose a plan of building a future oriented school library that supports teachers' teaching with various multimedia and Internet materials applicable in class immediately, helps students' self directed learning activities, and plays its role as a cultural center of the local community. As for research methods, this study examines the basic directions and characteristics of school libraries defined by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, and investigates the current state of school libraries. In addition, we survey cases of library plans in Incheon, and suggest standards for planning and propose a plan. Ultimately, we establish a library plan for S Elementary School in Incheon and execute the plan and, in the course, derive ideas for satisfying students' demands with regard to their sentiment, stable and flexible layout and flow lines, facilities and space within the library, etc. What is more, we create indexes for library planning so that school libraries can contribute to various cultural activities and the development of local community beyond their functions as school library facilities.

경상남도 내 중학교의 공간구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Spatial Composition of the Middle Schools in Gyeongnam Province)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of layout type and territorial area of middle schools. This article discuses about the characteristics of the floor plan composition and the layout type of 30 middle schools in gyeongnam province. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) In facilities arrangement of middle schools, it shows diverse forms of arrangement from existing uniform straight type, however, most of schools do not being against the simple in their external space. Therefore, it requires an expansion of space size and facilities for the change of school life outside class. 2) Comparing to traditional middle school facilities, it occurs various types of plane and the area is somewhat expanded in the school with same class size, however, it needs to improve facility standards in its reality to deal with the change of future educational environment actively.

초등학교 옥외 환경학습공간 조성 (The Creation of Outdoor Environmental Education Space at an Elementary School)

  • As recognition and polices for plans to preserve natural resources and to develop environment-friendly space in school education is developed, not only organization of curriculums related to these is required but also facilities for the education are indispensable. Therefore, this study tries to suggest several standards on matters including kinds and scale of facilities and the introduction of species by facilities required for outdoor teaming spaces for environmental education in the elementary school system. The methods of this study include researching various records related to environmental education in elementary school, researching the present condition of outdoor learning space installed and operating in the existing schools by making an on-the-spot survey, and analyzing appearance frequencies of plants and animals displayed in the text. In addition, the actual conditions of the facility use and management were investigate through a questionnaire, We chose and diagrammed a model of the installed facilities by putting the results together. For analyses the investigated eight schools, were categorized as ‘facilities-arranged type’or ‘connection type with ecological park’. The first type distributed and arranged facilities, including meteorological observatory, rocky park, experience-learning area, ecological pond, animal-breeding farm and field-leaning area into appropriate locations according to the site conditions of the school while the second type created a natural learning place by integrating several facilities and arranging areas such as an animal-breeding farm and experience-learning area into appropriate sites. In this study, essential facilities for outdoor learning are classified into ecological park, experience-loaming area, field loaming area, and for natural learning, meteorological observatory, animal-breeding farm, and greenhouse.
