지자체 산림정보 표준화 서비스를 위한 공간 데이터웨어하우스 구축 (Constructing Spatial Data Warehouse for Forest Information Standardization Service of Municipal Governments)

  • 최근 공간정보기술의 발달과 산림지리정보의 확산으로 기 구축된 산림행정 자료의 갱신과 수정에 대한 요구는 급격히 증가하고 있으나 여전히 많은 자료가 종이 형태의 수기 대장으로 관리되고 있는 실정이다. 더욱이 FGIS 등의 다양한 응용시스템이 현재 개발되고는 있으나 실제 산림행정 담당자들은 DB자료의 구축과 갱신에 있어 많은 부분을 수작업에 의존하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현업에서 작성 및 관리되고 있는 산림주제도 자료를 GIS기반의 공간 데이터베이스 구축절차에 의해 구축함으로써 표준화 및 일관성 있는 데이터 생산과 관리가 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 시, 군에서 담당하고 있는 산림 업무프로세스를 인터넷 환경에서 시스템화하여 서비스 할 수 있는 웹기반 산림정보 데이터웨어하우스를 구축하였다. 이를 통하여 국내에서는 처음으로 실제 지자체에서 활용되고 있는 다양한 산림정보 표준 서비스 방안을 제시하여 일원화된 산림행정 의사결정 지원과 전사적인 관점에서 산림정보 구축 통합 프로토타입을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

응급구조(학)과 교육과정의 표준화에 대한 연구 (Standardization of a curriculum for paramedic students in South Korea)

  • Purpose: This study describes current curricula for paramedic students in South Korea and proposes a standardization of the curriculum. Methods: Data were collected from 38 colleges and universities from March 1 to 31, 2016. Descriptive statistics were calculated using SPSS 23.0. Results: The proposed standard curriculum was below. Requisite liberal arts consisted of 2 subjects and 6 credits including biomedical ethics, communications and human relationships. Common major subjects were composed of 6 areas, 22 subjects, and 78 credits. The areas of basic medicine consisted of 6 subjects and 16 credits including medical terminology. Introduction to paramedicine consisted of 3 subjects and 7 credits. Emergency patient management consisted of 2 subjects and 9 credits. Particulars to paramedic care consisted of 8 subjects and 31 credits. The law area consisted of 1 subject and 3 credits. Other major areas consisted of 2 subjects and 12 credits including integrated simulation and physician assistance. Common field practice area consisted of 3 to 4 subjects and 9 to 12 credits. Conclusion: It is important to establish and adapt a standardized curriculum for paramedic students in order to ensure competence and to provide high quality emergency medical services.

  • Telematics is an emerging industrial field made up of the convergence of technologies. The key technologies for Telematics are server-side technology, terminal-side technology, communication-related technology, and positioning technology. Standardization in Telematics is now getting more notice these days. Domestic situation is explained for several related facilities such as ETRI, TTA, and Telematics Standardization Forum. In this paper, we will focus especially on the standard reference model that is the most fundamental framework of Telematics technology standardization. In the reference model, the Telematics system is composed of Telematics client part, communication part, and Telematics server part. The Telematics client part consists of terminal, positioning device, and car electronic devices. Communication part can be composed of various telecommunication channels such as CDMA, WLAN, DMB, WiBro, etc. which can guarantee the seamless two-way communication. Telematics server part is composed of TSP(Telematics Service Provider) server and CP(Contents Provider) servers gathering and managing the various Telematics services. This Telematics reference model is expected to be utilized as the base architecture in developing the technology and standards from now on.

기계를 위한 비디오 부호화 표준화 동향 (Standardization Trends in Video Coding for Machines)

  • An increase in high-quality video service continually leads to the standardization of high-performance video codecs such as the versatile video coding standard. Although such codecs have improved coding efficiency in terms of high fidelity, a tremendous increase in the amount of video data is required for more efficient compression, especially for efficiently recognizing and analyzing the target within the millions of objects/events captured every day, such as those by surveillance systems. Therefore, newly established MPEG standardization efforts have studied the new generation of video compression standards for machine vision-oriented video. This paper presents the standardization trends in video coding for machines and discusses further directions for improvement.

  • There are a numerous number of mobile platforms so that content developers have difficulties of developing many versions of the same content by platforms. At present, each country becomes realizing the need of standardization, however, the progress of standardization is very slow because of the service providers and market flows. This paper investigates about the present state and standardization trend of mobile platform technologies so that it would help to lead the standardization process in the future.

메타버스 상호연동 표준화 동향 (Standardization Trends in Interoperability between Metaverse Platforms)

  • This paper presents a review of standardization activities toward the interoperability between different metaverse platforms, which is a research hotspot in the metaverse. The metaverse is often considered as the evolution of the current mobile Internet. Like for the Internet, interoperability is essential to provide continuous user experiences over different metaverse service environments. However, current metaverses have limitations in providing interoperability in terms of portability of services, digital objects, such as identity and avatars, and economic systems. To address these limitations, the metaverse industry and open-source communities have recently begin to develop metaverse interworking standards. We describe activities conducted by various representative standardization bodies such as the Metaverse Standardization Forum, W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) Open Metaverse Interoperability, Open Metaverse Foundation, Open Metaverse Alliance for Web3, and Metaverse Alliance. In addition, we discuss how to counteract interoperability issues from the Korean perspective.

  • This study develops a model which measures service standardizations focused on the process of call center service. It analyzes the relationship between service standardizations and efficiency of business as well. The model consists of two dimensions to offering service and managing customers. These two dimensions have six major elements: accessibility, customer orientation, professionalism, offering a solution, customer satisfaction management, and customer information management. Also we assumed that low customer interaction and labor-intensive of service business increase the level of service standardization.

건강보험청구 치면열구전색 치아수의 지역격차와 지역수준 관련요인 (Factors affecting regional disparities in the number of teeth sealed with pit and fissure sealants: information for the National Health Insurance)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to interpret regional disparities in the number of teeth sealed with pit and fissure sealants, identify the factors that affect these disparities and find solutions for the same. Methods: Data were collected from the National Health Insurance Service and Korean statistical information service using metropolis-city-rural area dental health infrastructure variables, regional health behavior variables, and local finance-related variables. Results: In 2015, the number of teeth sealed with pit and fissure sealants per 100 people was higher in the metropolis or city than in the rural area. There was a positive correlation between the number of teeth sealed with pit and fissure sealants and the number of dentists, dental hygienists, dental institutions, standardization rate of subjective awareness of well-being, standardization rate of brushing after lunch, and the proportion of welfare budget in the general budget. There was a negative correlation with the annual standardization rate of health institution use, the standardization rate of unused medical services, and the local government's financial independence. According to the final model of the multiple regression analysis, while the impact of infrastructure on dentistry was not statistically significant, the statistical significance of standardization rate of brushing after lunch, the local government's financial independence, and the proportion of welfare budget in the general budget were maintained. Conclusions: To reduce regional disparities in the volume of use of pit and fissure sealants, it was concluded that it may be effective to select regions with a consideration of the level of regional economic power, implement separate and appropriate policies and projects, and improve the awareness in residents.

우리나라 병원급 이상 의료기관 입원환자의 지역별 의료이용의 변이에 관한 연구 (A Study on Regional Medical Utilization Variation of Hospital Inpatients in Korea)

  • 지역별 의료서비스 이용의 변이를 파악하고 이를 기반으로 지역주민들이 양질의 의료서비스를 적절하게 이용할 수 있도록 하는 정책 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 2005년 환자조사 자료를 이용하여 우리나라의 병원급 이상 의료기관을 이용한 입원환자의 지역별 의료이용의 변이와 이에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 살펴보았다. 지역별 의료이용의 변이에 성, 연령과 같은 지역별 인구구조의 차이에 의한 효과는 직접표준화 방법을 이용하여 보정하였다. 분석결과 시도별, 시군구별 표준화 퇴원율, 표준화 재원일수는 차이가 있었으며, 표준화 퇴원율, 표준화 재원일수에 영향을 미치는 요인은 도시규모, 인구10만명당 병상수로 나타났다.
