In this paper, we propose a robust pre-processing module for camera-based Optical Music Score Recognition (OMR) on mobile device. The captured images likely suffer for recognition from many distortions such as illumination, blur, low resolution, etc. Especially, the complex background music sheets recognition are difficult. Through any symbol recognition system, the staff line height and staff line space are used many times and have a big impact on recognition module. A robust and accurate staff line height and staff line space are essential. Some staff line height and staff line space are proposed for binary image. But in case of complex background music sheet image, the binarization results from common binarization algorithm are not satisfactory. It can cause incorrect staff line height and staff line space estimation. We propose a robust staff line height and staff line space estimation by using run-length encoding technique on edge image. Proposed method is composed of two steps, first step, we conducted the staff line height and staff line space estimation based on edge image using by Sobel operator on image blocks. Each column of edge image is encoded by run-length encoding algorithm Second step, we detect the staff line using by Stable Path algorithm and removal the staff line using by adaptive Line Track Height algorithm which is to track the staff lines positions. The result has shown that robust and accurate estimation is possible even in complex background cases.

In this paper, we propose a Musical Score Recognition with SOM and Enhanced ART-1 Algorithm. First, we apply Hough transform and Otsu's binarization to the original BMP format image and extract notes from separated passages by histogram analysis with removing staff lines. Then extracted musical notes are normalized to same size by SOM algorithm and ART-1 algorithm plays the learning and recognition role. The experiment verifies that the proposed method is quite effective on printed musical score recognition.

The 1st order vertical network of Korea was adjusted in 1987 at first time. This is the second adjustment of the 1st order vertical network of Korea by National Geographic Information Institute. All the levelling data were acquired by digital level with invar staff. The number of 1st order level lines are 36, and 34 level lines comprise 11 circles of level network. Backward and forward error of a few level lines are larger than the regulations of NGII, Korea. Also, 3 circles of vertical network has circuit closure error that is exceed the regulation. As the result of 1st order vertical network adjustment, the reference standard error of the vertical network was $1.8mm/{\surd}km$.
This paper investigates the productivity growth in Korean railway lines. The productivity growth is calculated by a process of measuring of pure efficiency change index(PECI), scale efficiency change index(SECI), and technical change index(TCI), using Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method. The data cover the period 1990~2007; 1990~2003 are the pre-structural reform years and the post-structural reform years are 2005~2007. The framework for the analysis is Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) of the to investigate the impacts of structural reform on productivity growth, respectively. The inputs considered are the length of operating line, the number of staff, the number of coach and wagon, and the outputs are the trains movement of passenger and freight, and the traffic of passenger and freight.
In this paper, we propose a smart system that can optically recognize a music score within a document and can play the music after recognition. Many historic handwritten documents have now been digitalized. Converting images of a music score within documents into digital files is particularly difficult and requires considerable resources because a music score consists of a 2D structure with both staff lines and symbols. The proposed system takes an input image using a mobile device equipped with a camera module, and the image is optimized via preprocessing. Binarization, music sheet correction, staff line recognition, vertical line detection, note recognition, and symbol recognition processing are then applied, and a music file is generated in an XML format. The Music XML file is recorded as digital information, and based on that file, we can modify the result, logically correct errors, and finally generate a MIDI file. Our system reduces misrecognition, and a wider range of music score can be recognized because we have implemented distortion correction and vertical line detection. We show that the proposed method is practical, and that is has potential for wide application through an experiment with a variety of music scores.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the deployment characteristics of korean and foreign mobile hospitals and to draw out the advantages and disadvantages based on the movement of patients. Methods: The arrangement and user movement lines of foreign mobile hospitals which were actually utilized, and the arrangements and user movement lines of korean mobile hospitals are compared and analyzed. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, we suggest the optimal placement of mobile hospital in Korea. Results: The recently developed Korean mobile hospitals have made many improvements. However, there is no practical use case for the mobile hospital in Korea, so it is necessary to establish the basis for the mobile hospital development site and the site access considerations. In addition, there is no detailed analysis of the movement of the administrators other than the medical staff, and it is considered that research on safe waste disposal is further needed. Implications: It is highly likely to be used as a basic data to find out the combination method of mobile hospitals that can efficiently deal with disasters through the arrangement and movement analysis of mobile hospitals in Korea and abroad.
The purpose of this paper is to provide basic information on how to make better policies that improves efficiencies of urban railways and to derive policy directions using DEA (data envelopment analysis) model. Through this paper, I can identify whether or not the urban railway service has an excellent performance, if there are any structural problems. I analyzed the efficiency by means of measuring the technical efficiencies of Korean urban railways, these were estimated with data envelopment analysis. The inputs considered are the length of urban railway lines, the number of staff, the operating cost, the number of cars, the number of stations, and the outputs are the cars movement, the traffic of passenger, and the revenue.
There are currently many research papers on the knowledge, perceptions and actions of radiation-related staff, but hardly any papers on radiation major students in college who are to be staff members of radiation related jobs in the future. It is of course important to understand the perceptions of staff working on the lines and change their knowledge and perceptions, but in the long term it seems more efficient to understand those who are in the stage of being educated to be staff members-their knowledge and perception of radiation so that ultimately they can attain the right kind of understanding. Therefore the aim of this study is to grasp the pre-radiation staff's basic concept of radiation and space dose, their understanding of radiation safety based on this, and whether there is a change in their perception before and after the space dose measurement experiment; in the end this is to see if the space dose measurement experiment is effective in changing perception on radiation safety. This study took as its subject 64 students majoring radiation in college, I.e. pre-radiation staff members, and gauged their basic conceptualization of radiation, understanding of space dose, and understanding of radiation safety; in the X-ray room within the department the students were asked to measure space dose for themselves, so as to see whether there was a change in their understanding of radiation safety before and after the experiment, according to their understanding of the basic concept of radiation and of space dose. As a result of the space dose measurement experiment, students' increased basic knowledge of concept of radiation and understanding of the dangers of space dose were noteworthy, and accordingly their understanding of radiation safety became stricter and more conservative. In spite of this, their work ethic stayed in the lead of their understanding of radiation safety; this implies the need of a more departmentalized safety education program. Therefore instead of safety education that simply uses visual-audial material in a kind of lecture, I suggest here that there be a more experiential safety education program that enables learners to try out space dose measurement experiments for themselves, a work ethic education that aims for a conventional point of view towards radiation safety as well as a stern attitude.

The 1st order level network of Korea was adjusted simultaneously in 1987. After that, the 1 st order level network of Korea was adjusted simultaneously by National Geographic Information Institute in 2006. The levelling data were acquired by digital level with invar staff from 2001 through 2006. The 1st order level network consists of 36 level lines. Among them, 34 level lines comprise 11 level loops. Among 36 level lines, 4 level lines have fore & back error larger than the regulations for the 1st order levelling of NGII, Korea. Also, the closing error of 3 loops of level network exceed the regulation for the 1st order levelling of NGII. The standard error of fore and back leveling between bench marks(${\eta}_1$) are distributed between 0.2 $mm/{\surd}km$ and 1.7 $mm/{\surd}km$. The standard error of loop closing(${\eta}_2$) is 2.0 $mm/{\surd}km$. This result means that the 1st order level network of Korea qualifies for the high precision leveling defined by International Geodetic Association in 1948. As the result of the 1st order level network adjustment, the reference standard error($\hat{{\sigma}_0}$) of the level network was 1.8 $mm/{\surd}km$, which is twice as good as that of the 1st adjustment of level networks in 1987.
The study was done to provide domestic fashion multi-shops with basic information about the product and price strategies through an investigation the marketing strategies for domestic multi-shop dealt with imported product only. Data were collected from Interview with a buyer or a staff of marketing department of Domestic Fashion Multi-shop dealt with Imported Product only. Through the study, it was clarified that these multi-shops showed a tendency to compose of promising brands. brands set a high value on unique character or technique, and brands of promising designer noticed at the main collection. And they also extended their lines as a total life style shop dealt with accessory. shoes and home collection as well as clothing. Therefore, they had to analyze their target consumer's life style and applied this to organization of product, brands or sizing. To maintain the balance of multi-shop they bought products keeping the balance between all the brands and didn't lose variety of concept, it was demanded to develop new brands as well. Their distribution channels had to be planned by regional characteristic that could be accepted their target consumers.
