Gyeongsangnam-do needed an employment stability response policy to induce re-employment of job seekers who retired due to large-scale unemployment and job instability following the employment crisis, and stable settlement and long-term employment after new employment. This study is to confirm the effective corporate support policy as an employment promotion strategy through new recruitment of the employment crisis in Gyeongsangnam-do. A total of 380 companies in Gyeongsangnam-do were targeted for the survey through online surveys and in-person surveys. As a result of the study, as a measure to improve working conditions through financial support for long-term employment stability, first, support for youth-middle-age asset formation of SME workers is required, and second, support for old-age income guarantee for SME workers was proposed. Third, direct corporate subsidies are continuously needed for job promotion and job stability of Gyeongsangnam-do companies.

Uncertainty in the employment market from the COVID-19 created incomplete employment. As a result, job seekers were required to have overqualifications than job requirements. In previous studies, overqualified workers by incomplete employment were not satisfied with their jobs. A representative result is the intention to change jobs. However, within COVID-19, the perceived overqualification of workers will appear differently. This is because in a rapidly increased employment competition environment due to COVID-19, it will appear as loyalty to maintain a stable job. As a result of this study, work experience was the greatest benefit and high risk for office workers. In addition, both the benefits and risks of overqualification affected loyalty. Unlike the negative impact as in previous studies, workers tried to remain stable at work in an unstable employment environment caused by COVID-19.
The purpose of this study was to examine the causes of career interruptions among dental hygienists, institutional measures required for their long service and ways of creating a stable employment culture for them in determine how to resolve labor shortage, create stable jobs, and step up the reemployment of idle manpower. In addition, the following suggestions are made for the establishment of a stable employment culture for dental hygienists by analyzing related literature, research materials, and information such as forums for establishing appropriate jobs for female dental workers. First, a system should be set up to prevent career interruption among dental hygienists. The work environment should be improved to prevent career breaks, and the wages, working hours, and working style should be efficiently structured to maintain the tenure of employees. Second, a plan should be devised to make use of idle manpower, and a variety of necessary programs should be developed. With respect to regular working hours, the time conversion system should be used, which reduces the amount of time one would want to work while receiving a national subsidy. Third, dental hygienists working in different occupations for marriage, childbirth, childcare, school and personal hygiene should make a way to return to the dental system immediately when they want. Fourth, the government should take institutional measures and offer down-to-earth support and benefits for women consideration their social characteristics to guarantee a balance between work and childcare.
The aim of this study was to analyze differences in the perception of Gangwon-do residents using a satisfaction survey. The residents were found to be most satisfied with sectors such as parks/green spaces, landscape, and public order; however, they were least satisfied with transportation, culture, sports, medical services, and welfare facilities. Additionally, among all the items in the satisfaction survey, job satisfaction was the lowest. When comparing satisfaction trends observed in the city to those of the county, the overall satisfaction of the county was found to be slightly higher. This result could be attributed to young people being underrepresented in this survey in conjunction with the greater policy-level support for middle-aged people by from the government and Gangwon-do. Therefore, it would be worthwhile to create policies that primarily support young people and to also to create high-quality jobs with stable pay and employment prospects. This could minimize the outflow of youth and even encourage their inflow to similar small provincial cities. In Southern region and Seorak region of Gangwon-do, the satisfaction with gap between house price and region was low, which might be related to the increased demand for real estate throughout this area.

In Korea, youth participation in economic activities and unemployment appear at the same time, which is a more serious problem, so a study on the labor market movement can be viewed as a study to overcome youth unemployment. The purpose of this study is to examine how labor movement between the employed and the unemployed is progressing through the survey data of the youth panel among the employment panel and to identify the factors affecting the movement path and movement of the employed and the unemployed. In the case of the employed, they possessed professional qualifications, and in the case of unstable occupational status, they attempted to move to a stable position after being employed. In the case of the unemployed, the probability of failing to find a job was higher as they had no job search experience, the longer the job search period, and the less effort they made. The fact that the home environment directly or indirectly influences the movement of the labor market remains unchanged. On the other hand, the higher the educational level, the more stable, and the most stable the metropolitan area. Therefore, more urgently than ever, a plan to revitalize the local labor market through the organic relationship between the government, local governments, local industry, and local universities and balanced regional development should be sought.
Purpose: This study investigated the occupational status and job stress of visiting nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Participants were 151 visiting nurses working in the public health services in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The study was conducted using a structured online questionnaire. Results: The average age of the visiting nurses was 49.5 years. A occupational period was 38.4% of the participants had worked for a period of 6-10 years and 34.5% of them had worked for a period of 11 years or more. In terms of employment type, 74.8% had permanent contracts and 13.9% had fixed terms. 93.4% of nurses were working on COVID-19-related work; and 57.6% of them were working more than 50% of their work. Each visiting nurse provided health services for a total of 436.4 cases on average and the per day count was 14.3 cases. The service was provided through home visits or phone consultations. The results of the job stress were relationship conflict (60.92±20.72), job demand (59.05±14.10), job autonomy (57.83±14.63), job instability (45.25±27.37), organizational system (44.97±17.21), workplace culture (42.71±18.00), and inadequate compensation (35.29±18.14). There was a significant difference in job stress according to the proportion of COVID-19 work was 'workplace culture' (p=.023), Job autonomy (p=.053) and Inappropriate compensation(p=.054). The purpose of this study was to evaluate job stress factors of school food service nutritionists according to the number of years they have worked. The subjects of this survey included 125 nutritionists (69 from full-time employees and 56 from part-time nutritionists) from elementary school, middle school, and high school in the Gangwon area. The results showed that stress related to duty was the top job stress factor, followed by environment-related stress, personal stress, organization-related stress and stress caused by human relations. In terms of the degree of stress, part-time nutritionists have more stress compared to full-time nutritionists. This was especially true for nutritionists that had been employed for one year. In this case, the degree of stress was much higher than long time employed nutritionists. In terms of how to deal with job stress, school nutritionists eliminated stress directly (with direct countermeasures). In order to deal with stress, workers expected stable employment such as pay (wages), promotions, etc. In particular, part-time school nutritionists had stronger expectations. When correlation between job stress factors were examined, environment-related, duty-related, organization-related, human relations-related and personal stress were all shown to be mutually related.

This study analyzed the impact of the real estate changes on the unemployment rate in Korea. Using monthly data from January 2013 to February 2023, the study employed a multiple regression analysis model. The key findings are as follows: First, there was a significant causal relationship between the real estate changes and the unemployment rate. Specifically, an increase in the real estate market led to a significant decrease in the unemployment rate, while a decrease in the real estate market resulted in a significant increase in the unemployment rate. Second, an increase in the loan interest rate was found to significantly reduce the unemployment rate, while a rise in interest rates had positive effects on the employment. Furthermore, an increase in inflation was associated with a significant rise in the unemployment rate. Moreover, an increase in the number of permits issued for housing construction significantly reduced the unemployment rate. Lastly, conducting robustness tests by substituting variables did not significantly alter the analysis results, indicating the robustness of the impact of the real estate changes on the unemployment rate. Based on the above analysis, it can be inferred that the fluctuations in real estate prices in South Korea are linked to fluctuations in the unemployment rate, and stable management of the real estate market may contribute to the stability of the unemployment rate.
