  • This paper investigates the properties of light weight foamed concrete with variances in adding ratio of stability agent(PS). Test showed that an increase of PS adding ratio decreased fluidity due to higher viscosity and increased unit weight of specimens. A sinking depth declined as the adding ratio of PS inclines, but all specimens including control concrete was ranging in KS; 0.5 to 10mm. Compressive strength value of specimens increased as PS adding ratio inclines. As for the tensile strength, any significant feature was not observed, compared with control concrete, but the ratios of camp. to tens. increased. Appearance density of concrete increased, and thermal conductivity was satisfied in KS, except for a specimen adding 0.07 percent of PS.

  • The primary aim of this study is to investigate new semi-abrasive free slurry including acid colloidal silica and hydrogen peroxide for copper chemical-mechanical planarization (CMP). In general, slurry for copper CMP consists of colloidal silica as an abrasive, organic acid as a complex-forming agent, hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing agent, a film forming agent, a pH control agent and several additives. We developed new semi-abrasive free slurry (SAFS) including below 0.5% acid colloidal silica. We evaluated additives as stabilizers for hydrogen peroxide as well as accelerators in tantalum nitride CMP process. We also estimated dispersion stability and Zeta potential of the acid colloidal silica with additives. The extent of enhancement in tantalum nitride CMP was verified through anelectrochemical test. This approach may be useful for the application of single and first step copper CMP slurry with one package system.

  • A series of polyurethane-acrylate hybrids were synthesized by 2-step emulsion polymerization of a variety of acrylate monomers such as 2-hydroxy ethyl methacrylate (HEMA), methyl methacrylate (MMA). Experiment was performed to improve stability and emulsibility of surface treatment agent, and it was found that the polyurethane-acrylate hybrids having an optimum composition (MMA : 20%, LA(EO)3-S : 3% and TDA-7 : 5%) was shown to be quite surface active in the solid contents. These results suggests that the optimal polyurethane-acrylate hybrids in this study have high potential as top coating agent, which may have high gloss and excellent properties.

  • This study has tried to suggest a new model that can effectively redistribute the tickets in the online ticket resale market, while suggesting a new allocation mechanism based on an agent negotiation. To this end, this study has analyzed and simulated the secondary ticket market through System dynamics. As a result of these simulations, it has been proved that the price stability of ticket resale market leads to an increase in revenue. An agent negotiation helps to stabilize the ticket prices that are usually inclined to rise at auction, benefiting all the participants in the negotiations, consequently showing a Pareto solution.

  • In order to ensure second-order multi-agent systems (MAS) realizing consensus more quickly in a limited time, a new protocol is proposed. In this new protocol, the gradient algorithm of the overall cost function is introduced in the original protocol to enhance the connection between adjacent agents and improve the moving speed of each agent in the MAS. Utilizing Lyapunov stability theory, graph theory and homogeneity theory, sufficient conditions and detailed proof for achieving a finite-time consensus of the MAS are given. Finally, MAS with three following agents and one leading agent is simulated. Moreover, the simulation results indicated that this new protocol could make the system more stable, more robust and convergence faster when compared with other protocols.

  • This study investigates the problem of leader-following consensus for multi-agent systems with output saturations. This study assumes that the agents are described as a neutrally stable system, and the leader agent generates the bounded trajectory within the saturation level. Then, the objective of the leader-following consensus is to track the trajectory of the leader by exchanging information with neighbors. To solve this problem, we propose an observer-based distributed consensus algorithm. Then, we provide a consensus analysis by applying the Lyapunov stability theorem and LaSalle's invariance principle. The result shows that the agents achieve the leader-following consensus in a global sense. Moreover, we can achieve the consensus by choosing any positive control gain. Finally, we perform a numerical simulation to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • To investigate the effect of L-arginine as stabilizing agent for omeprazole, the degradation rate constant of omeprazole in aqueous solution was determined at 30, 40 and $50^{\circ}C$ with various ratios of L-arginine to omeprazole. The pH of omeprazole solutions was also determined. As the amount of L-arginine increased, the pH of omeprazole solution also increased, and the solution appeared to be more stable. The omeprazole in aqueous solution could be stabilized by more than 15:1 molar ratio of L-arginine to omeprazole. The stability of omeprazole in commercial products using L-arginine or sodium phosphate dibasic as stabilizing agent was investigated. Among the commercial products, the omeprazole product prepared with L-arginine (molar ratio of L-arginine to omeprazole, 20:1) was most stable.

  • Due to the formation of random three dimensional network structure, which cause a lot of scattering of phonons, the thermal conductivity is low when the liquid crystalline epoxy is cured with amine-based curing agent. This problem is solved by using a cationic initiator that can make mesogen groups to be stacked structure. In this experiment, the thermal stability is compared by investigating the activation energy of isothermal decomposition through TGA of an epoxy using an amine-based curing agent and a cationic initiator. As a result, the energy of the activation of the epoxy using a cationic initiator is high. Compared with the previous experiments, the thermal stability is similar to the thermal conductivity.

  • In order to protect cable from rat's biting, a development of rodent repellent is described. This cable has double coated sheath such as construction of skin layer over the conventional cable sheath. Stabilized rodent repellent agent which has good compatibility with PVC is employed in a skin layer. Rodent repellent layer has highly residual properties of agent through the manufacturing process, and meets the general requirements of cable sheath. Also, rat repellent effect is excellent.

  • The setting behavior of disulfide-enriched wool and disulfide-crosslinked silk obtained by treatment with a disulfide-containing crosslinking agent, bis $(\beta-isocyanatoethyl)$ dissulfide was compared with that of untreated wool and silk under the absence and the presence of a reducing agent. Rearrangment of secondary bonds facilitated by cleavage of crosslinks as well as rearrangement of crosslinks itself seems to play an important role in the set stability.
