$SrCO_3$$TiO_2$를 사용한 $SrTiO_3$의 합성반응에 관한 연구 (Synthesis of $SrTiO_3$ from the Mixtures of $SrCO_3$ and $TiO_2$)

  • The formation of strontium titanate from several molar $SrCO_3$ and $TiO_2$ mixtures was studied in air and $CO_2$ gas Mixtures of $SrCO_3$ and $TiO_2$ were heated in air at 400-$600^{\circ}C$ DTA-TG was used to obtain thermal histories of simples heated in air and $CO_2$ gas. X-ray diffraction analysis was used to determine both the phase composition and the amounts of each phase present. The phase relationship of various compounds $SrTiO_3$, $Sr_2TiO_4$, $Sr_2Ti_3O_7$ and $Sr_4Ti_3O_{10}$ formed by the sintering in each composition was shown by the calibration curves. High temperature X-ray analysis was used to determine both the formation process and deformation process of each products. Small amount of SrTiO3 is formed first at the surface af contact SrTiO3 reacts with $SrCO_3$ to form Sr2TiO4 this is affected on the $CO_2$ pressure.

Black Ash법을 이용한 SrSO4로부터 SrCO3 제조 (Production of SrCO3 from SrSO4 through the Black Ash Process)

  • 본 연구에서는 Black Ash법을 이용하여 홍천 자철광으로부터 회수된 황산스트론튬 (SrSO4)으로부터 탄산스트론튬 (SrCO3)을 제조하였다. Carbothermic 반응 단계에서는 황화스트론튬 (SrS)을 제조하기 위해 1273 K의 Ar 가스 분위기의 석영반응기를 사용하여 SrSO4를 탄소와 같이 반응시켰다. 이후 353 K에서 carbothermic 반응으로 회수된 잔사의 수침출 및 298 K에서 탄산나트륨 (Na2CO3)를 이용한 침출액의 탄산화 반응을 통해 SrCO3을 제조하였다. 본 연구결과로부터 Black Ash법 활용 시 국내산 자철광 내 함유된 스트론튬 (Sr)으로 부터 고순도 탄산스트론튬 제조가 가능함을 실험적으로 증명하였다.

  • Epitaxial (La, Sr)$CoO_3/Pb(Zr,\;Ti)O_3/(La,\;Sr)CoO_3$by pulsed laser deposition for ferroelectric field effect transistor. Epitaxial $LaCoO_3/Pb(Zr,\;Ti)O_3/(La,\;Sr)CoO_3$ heterostructures exhibited 70$\mu C/cm^2$ and 17 $\mu C/cm^2$at a positively and negatively poled states, respectively. On the other hand, epitaxial (La, Sr)$CoO_3/Pb(Zr,\;Ti)O_3/LaCoO_3$heterostructures show the remnant polarization states opposite to the $LaCoO_3/Pb(Zr,\;Ti)O_3/(La,\;Sr)CoO_3$ heterostructures. This indicates that the interface between (La, Sr)$CoO_3$ (LSCO) and $Pb(Zr, Ti)O_3(PZT)$ layers affects the asymmetric polarization remanence through electrochemical nature. The resistivity of $LaCoO_3$ (LCO) layer was found to be dependent on an ambient oxygen, primarily the ambient oxygen pressure during deposition. The resistivity of the LCO layer varied in the range of 0.1-100 $\Omega$cm. It is suggested that, with an appropriate resistivity of the LCO layer, the LCO/PZT/LSCO heterostructure can be used as the ferroelectric field effect transistor.

고체산화물 연료전지용 (La, Sr)$MnO_3$ 양극에 대한 Co 첨가효과 (Effect of Co Dopant on the (La, Sr)$MnO_3$ Cathode for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell)

  • The effect of Co dopant on the (La, Sr)MnO3 cathode was investigated. La2Zr2O7 and SrZrO3 were formed as the reaction products between YSZ and LSMC. The reactivity of LSMC with YSZ increased with increasing Co content. However, the cathodic polarization resistance decreased with increasing Co doping. Therefore, doping Co at Mn site in the (La, Sr)MnO3 cathode was effective on controlling the polarization resistance of the cathode. The polarization property of LSMC-YSZ composite(60 wt%: 40 wt%) cathode was better than that of LSMC single cathode.

SrCo0.8Fe0.1Nb0.1O3-δ 세라믹 분리막의 산소투과 특성 및 이산화탄소에 대한 내성 (Oxygen Permeability and Resistance to Carbon Dioxide of SrCo0.8Fe0.1Nb0.1O3-δ Ceramic Membrane)

  • 고상반응법을 이용하여 $SrCo_{0.8}Fe_{0.1}Nb_{0.1}O_{3-{\delta}}$ 조성의 산화물을 합성하였으며, 합성된 분말은 압축 성형 후 $1250^{\circ}C$에서 소결하여 치밀한 세라믹 분리막을 제조하였다. XRD 분석을 통해 단일상의 페롭스카이트 구조를 확인하였다. 산소 분압이 0.21 atm, 측정 온도가 $800{\sim}950^{\circ}C$인 조건하에서 산소투과를 분석한 결과 온도가 증가할수록 산소투과량은 증가하였고, $950^{\circ}C$에서 $1.839mL/min{\cdot}cm^2$로 최대값을 나타내었다. 니오븀(Nb)을 포함한 세라믹 분리막의 상안정성 및 이산화탄소 내성을 확인하기 위하여 $900^{\circ}C$에서 이산화탄소가 500 ppm이 포함된 혼합공기를 이용하여 장기투과 실험을 수행하였다. 이산화탄소에 노출된 $SrCo_{0.8}Fe_{0.1}Nb_{0.1}O_{3-{\delta}}$의 상안정성은 XRD와 TG로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 이산화탄소에 노출된 $SrCo_{0.8}Fe_{0.1}Nb_{0.1}O_{3-{\delta}}$ 조성의 경우 약 8%의 $SrCO_3$가 생성되었으나, 이 수준의 $SrCO_3$ 생성량은 분리막의 산소투과도에 큰 영향을 주지 않는 것을 확인하였다.

Magnetic Properties of Sr-ferrite Powder Prepared by Intensive Mechanical Milling Technique

  • As an alternative promising way of producing high coercivity Sr-ferrite for a permanent magnet application, intensive mechanical milling process was applied to the raw materials of the Sr-ferrite with different composition. Synthesising reactivity for the Sr-ferrite of the mechanically milled raw material containing $SrCO_3$, $La_2O_3$, $Fe_2O_3$, $Co_3O_4$, and $SiO_2$ was inferior to that of the raw material containing $SrCO_3$ and $Fe_2O_3$, The Sr-ferrite prepared from mechanically milled raw materials had profoundly improved magnetic properties compared to the Sr-ferrite prepared by conventional method. Beneficial effect of the substituting ($La_2O_3$, $Co_3O_4$) and additive ($SiO_2$) oxides for improving the magnetic properties was not exploited in the Sr-ferrite prepared from the mechanically milled raw material. The Sr-ferrite powder prepared from the mechanically milled raw materials was magnetically isotropic in nature.

M-type Sr-Hexaferrite에서 MnCO3 첨가에 따른 소결 거동 (Sintering Behavior of M-type Sr-Hexaferrite by MnCO3 Addition)

  • The grain growth behavior of M-type Sr hexaferrite (SrM) grains is investigated with the addition of MnCO3. First, the SrM powder is synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction. The powder compacts of SrM are sintered at 1250℃ for 2 h with various amounts of MnCO3 (0, 0.5, 1.0, and 4.0 mol%). There is no secondary solid phase in any of the sintered samples. Relative density increases when MnCO3 is added to the SrM. Obvious abnormal grain growth does not appear in any of the SrM samples with MnCO3. The average grain size increases when 0.5 mol% MnCO3 is added to the SrM. However, as the amount of MnCO3 increase to over 0.5 mol%, the average grain size decreases. These observations allow us to conclude that the growth of SrM grains is governed by the two-dimensional nucleation grain growth mechanism, and the critical driving force for the growth of a grain decreases as the amount of MnCO3 increases.

  • LaSrCoO3 thin films were spin-coated onto the SrTiO3(100) substrates by the chemical solution process. X-ray diffraction $\theta$-2$\theta$ scans and X-ray diffraction $\beta$ scans were used to determine the crystallinity and in -plane alignment behavior of the films. The X-ray diffraction pattern showed the film obtained by annealing at 80$0^{\circ}C$ was highly oriented. The X-ray diffraction pole-figure analysis and reciprocal-space mapping (2$\theta$-$\Delta$$\omega$ scans) of the resulting film showed that the film comprising the pseduocubic phase had an epitaxial relationship with the SriO3 substrate.

  • Sr 페라이트 자석의 자기적 특성을 향상시키기 위하여 화학량론적 조건인 $SrFe_{ 12}$$O_{19}$ [SrM]에서 $_{11.7}$Co$SrFe_{0.3}$ $O_{19}$[$Co_{0.3}$ -SrM]/ 및 $Sr_{0.7}$ $La_{0.3}$F $e_{11.7}$ $Co_{0.3}$ $O_{19}$ /[(La-Co)$_{0.3}$-SrM] 조성으로 혼합후 공기중 하소를 실시하여 하소분의 특성을 조사하였고, 소결조제와 함께 미분쇄한 후 공기 중에서 소결하여 페라이트 자석을 제조한 후 자기특성 변화를 조사하였다. 화학량론적인 조성에서 (La-Co)$_{0.3}$-SrM 조성으로 원소치환을 실시한 하소분말을 사용하여 제조한 페라이트 자석의 소결특성은 포화자화 ($M_{s}$ ) 71.08 emu/g, 보자력 ($iH_{c}$ ) 4.38 kOe 및 잔류자속밀도 ($B_{r}$ ) 4.18 kG, 보자력 ($iH_{c}$ ) 4.35 kOe, 최대에너지적($BH_{max}$ ) 4.3 MGOe으로 화학량론적인 조건에 비해 B $H_{max}$가 10% 이상 더 큰 자기특성값을 나타내었다.나타내었다.다.

La1-xSrxMO3(M = Fe, Co, Mn) 물질을 이용한 포름알데히드 가스센서의 제조와 특성 (Fabrication and characteristics of La1-xSrxMO3(M = Fe, Co, Mn) formaldehyde gas sensors)

  • Thick film formaldehyde (HCHO) gas sensors were fabricated by using $La_1_{-x}Sr_xMO_3$ (M= Fe, Co, Mn) ceramics. The powders of $La_1_{-x}Sr_xMO_3$ (M=Fe, Co, Mn) were synthesized by conventional solid-state reaction method. By using the $La_1_{-x}Sr_xMO_3$ (M=Fe, Co, Mn) paste, the thick-film formaldehyde sensors were prepared on the alumina substrate by silkscreen printing method. The experimental results revealed that $La_1_{-x}Sr_xMO_3$ (M= Fe, Co, Mn) ceramic powder has a perovskite structure and the thick-film sensor shows excellent gas-sensing characteristics to formaldehyde gas (sensitivity of $La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2}FeO_3$, S= 14.7 at operating temperature of $150^{\circ}C$ in 50 ppm HCHO ambient).
