초기 변위를 가지고 연속 이동하는 스프링-질량계가 등분포종동력을 받는 단순지지보의 동특성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Two Successively-moving Spring-mass Systems with Initial Displacement on Dynamic Behavior of a Simply-supported Beam Subjected to Uniformly Distributed Follower Forces)

  • A simply supported beam subjected to a uniformly distributed tangential follower force and the two successively moving spring-mass systems upon it constitute this vibration system. The influences of the velocities of the moving spring-mass system, the distance between two successively moving spring-mass systems and the uniformly distributed tangential follower force have been studied on the dynamic behavior of a simply supported beam by numerical method. The uniformly distributed tangential follower force is considered within its critical value of a simply supported beam without two successively moving spring-mass systems, and three kinds of constant velocities and constant initial displacement of two successively moving spring-mass systems are also chosen. Their coupling effects on the transverse vibration of the simply supported beam are inspected too. In this study the simply supported beam is deflected with small vibration proportional to natural frequency of the moving spring-mass systems. According to the increasing of initial displacement of the moving spring-mass systems the amplitude of the small vibration of the simply supported beam is increased due to the spring force. The velocity of the moving spring-mass system more affect on the transverse deflection of simply supported beam than other factors of the system and the effect is dominant at high velocity of the moving spring-mass systems.

  • 프레팅마모 기인 연료봉 손상을 방지할 수 있는 노내 연료봉 지지조건은 잔여 지지격자스프링 변위량 또는 연료봉 /지지격자 갭에 의해 평가될 수 있다. 핵연료 설계 인자들이 프레팅마모 손상에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해 연소도의 함수로서 노내 연료봉 지지조건을 모사할 수 있는 방법론을 사용하여 GRID-FORCE프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 프로그램에서는 노내 연료봉 지지조건에 영향을 주는 주요 인자로서 피복관 크립, 초기 스프링 변위, 초기 스프링힘 그리고 스프링힘 조사이완이 고려된다. 이 주요 인자들에 대한 민감도 분석 결과, 초기 스프링 변위, 스프링힘 조사이완, 피복관 크립 순으로 노내 연료봉 지지조건에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이 프로그램을 실제 노내에서 발생한 프레팅마모 기인 연료봉 손상에 적용한 결과를 토대로 판단해 볼 때 이 프로그램을 새로 개발된 피복관 재질 및 /또는 새로 개발된 지지격자 설계가 프레팅마모 기인 연료봉 손상을 방지할 수 있는 설계여유도를 효과적으로 평가할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

자동차용 가스 스프링의 반력 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reaction Force Characteristics of the Gas Spring for the Automotive)

  • A gas spring provides support force for lifting, positioning, lowering, and counterbalancing weights. It offers a wide range of reaction force with a flat force characteristic, simple mounting, compact size, speed controlled damping, and cushioned end motion. The most common usage is as a support on a horizontally hinged automotive tail gate. However, its versatility and ease of use has been applied in many other industrial applications ranging from office equipment to off-road vehicles. The cylinder of a gas spring is filled with compressed nitrogen gas, which is applied with equal pressure on both sides of the piston. The surface area of the rod side of the piston is smaller than the opposite side, producing a pushing force. The magnitude of the reaction force is determined by the cross-sectional area of the piston rod and the internal pressure inside the cylinder. The reaction force is influenced by many design parameters such as initial chamber volume, diameter ratio, etc. In this paper, we investigated the reaction force characteristics and carried out parameter sensitivity analysis for the design parameters of a gas spring.

스풀밸브를 이용한 축압식 연료분사계의 작동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Accumulator Type Fuel Injection System with Spool Valve)

  • Fuel injection system is very important in diesel combustion. Recently electronic control of fuel injection system and common rail systems are introduced to reduce the emission and to increase the energy efficiency from diesel engine by control of the injection timing and duration. In this study, evaluation possibility of the system for electronic control by spool valve, one of the accumulator type injection systems with spool valve using solenoid was composed and the operating characteristics were investigated to evaluate the effects of spring coefficient, initial spring force, solenoid driving time, fuel supply pressure on the injection timing and duration. We could confirm the capability that diesel injection was electronically controlled by spool valve.

임의의 누름압 분포를 나타내는 플랫형 블레이드 스프링 레일의 곡면 형상 (Study on the Profile of Body Spring in the Flat Type Wiper Blade for an Intended Contact Pressure Distribution)

  • An analytical procedure to determine a proper profile of the spring rail that generates intended contact pressure distribution in the flat wiper blade is introduced. The flat wiper blade is one piece blade and subjected to pressing force at a center point. In this type of blade, contact pressure distribution in the tip of rubber strip is determined by the pressing force, the initial profile of the blade before contact and bending stiffness of the blade. Experimentally obtained bending stiffness of the blade assembly is almost identical to that of the spring rail. Principle of reciprocity has been used to define the initial profile of spring rail from the deformed profile that is assumed to be identical to the windshield glass profile. The procedure has been verified experimentally by measuring the contact pressure of the blade assembled with the spring rail designed by the procedure proposed here. Measured contact pressure distributions of the blades show good agreements with intended distributions over the entire blade span. Consequently, it can be concluded that proposed procedure has relatively good accuracy in developing the spring rail for flat blade having a specific contact pressure distribution.

로크 너트의 풀림 방지 성능 향상을 위한 스프링의 최적 형상 설계 (Optimum Shape Design of the Spring to Improve the Loose-proof Performance of the Lock Nut)

  • The combination of a bolt and nut is the element most widely used for connecting machines and structures. When a load is repetitively applied in the direction right angle to the bolt axis after the bolt and nut is fastened, the nut gradually becomes loose. To solve this problem, in this study, a new type of the loose-proof nut, called a lock nut, is developed. The lock nut is equipped with a spring, and the spring increases the axial force of the bolt. Then, the connection force between the bolt and nut is also augmented. Three dimensional finite element models for the bolt and spring are generated, and the change of the axial force of the bolt while the bolt is being inserted into the spring is analyzed using MSC/Marc, a commercial finite element program. Finally, the optimum shape of the spring is found according to the response surface analysis methodology. The optimization result is verified by comparing the variation of the axial force of the bolt when the bolt is inserted to the initial and optimized spring.

  • This study proposed design parameters of opening spring of circuit breaker that cut off the over-current in order to protect the electric device about opening speed using the energy method. We simulated the opening kinetic energy, the potential energy of opening spring and the design parameters of opening spring with respect to opening speed of VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker)'s moving contactor which has 24kV 25kA break capacity. From the result of simulation the initial tensional force and the final tensional force of the opening spring chose 107kgf and 282kgf respectively. Through the dynamic analysis using ADAMS, We verified that the opening speed of moving contactor satisfied break capacity of VCB and analyzed opening dynamic characteristics of VCB such as the opening displacement, the opening velocity and the opening acceleration of moving contactor in time domain.

종동력을 받는 이중진자의 혼돈운동 연구 (Chaotic Behavior of a Double Pendulum Subjected to Follower Force)

  • In this study, the dynamic instabilities of a nonlinear elastic system subjected to follower forces are investigated. The two-degree-of-freedom double pendulum model with nonlinear geometry, cubic spring, and linear viscous damping is used for the study. The constant, the initial impact forces acting at the end of the model are considered. The chaotic nature of the system is identified using the standard methods, such as time histories, power density spectrum, and Poincare maps. The responses are chaotic and unpredictable due to the sensitivity to initial conditions. The sensitivities to parameters, such as geometric initial imperfections, magnitude of follower force, direction control constant, and viscous damping, etc., are analysed. Dynamic buckling loads are computed for various parameters, where the loads are changed drastically for the small change of parameters.

  • 본 연구에서는 블랭크홀더력이 디프드로잉 성형성성에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 윤활조건에 따라 블랭크홀더력의 적정 범위를 이론적으로 파악해 보고, 실험의 경우 고강성 스프링형 블랭크홀더 방식에서 나타나는 디프드로잉 특성 및 초기블랭크홀더력의 성한한계에 관하여 검토하는 것으로 하였다.
