Analysis of Service Quality Factors in the Youth Sports Club : Focused on Customer Satisfaction Coefficient and PCSI Index using Kano Model (유소년 스포츠클럽 서비스품질요소 분석 : Kano모델을 적용한 고객만족계수와 PCSI지수를 중심으로)

  • This study is aimed at analyzing the characteristics of each service quality and the requirements of the customers followed by the classification of service quality factors of youth sports clubs by using Kano model. For this purpose, a survey was conducted by targeting on 257 subjects in 10 youth sports clubs in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas and for data processing, Microsoft Office Excel 2016 and SPSS 22.0 were used to carry out Frequency Analysis, Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Kano model Quality Classification, Timko's Customer Satisfaction Coefficient, and the computation and analysis of Public-service Customer Satisfaction Index. The following shows the research findings. First, as a result of using Kano model to classify each item of the service quality factors of the youth sports club through Dualistic Quality Theory Attribution, one-dimensional quality elements resulted in all 22 items of service quality factors of youth sports club. Second, the customer satisfaction coefficient computation result showed that satisfaction coefficient appeared by the order of 'kind response of the instructor,'(0.81), 'attitude of the instructor'(0.80), 'systematic lecture program'(0.76), and 'variety of program)'(0.76) and dissatisfaction coefficient appeared by the order of 'clean and pleasant facility'(-0.79), 'attitude of the instructor'(-0.76), 'kind response of the instructor'(-0.76), 'convenience of parking facility'(-0.73), and 'promptness of business process'(-0.73). Third, the public-service customer satisfaction index placing appeared by the order of the 'attitude of the instructor', 'kind response of the instructor', 'clean and pleasant facility' and 'systematic lecture program'.

  • A measurement of indoor microorganism using Reuter Centrifugal Air Sampler(RCS) was undertaken during October 1991-February 1999 and 6-Stage Cascade Air Sampler was undertaken during May 2001-June 2001 in Seoul. The results were as follows : 1. The average of total microorganism collected on the agar strip GK-A media were, in the order, subway station, hospital, underground shopping center, department store, book store, theater, sports facility, educational institution, office building in sites. 2. The average of staphylcocci collected on the agar strip GK-S media, in the order, were subway station, underground shopping center, hospital and department store, department store, theater, office building, sports facility and educational institution in sites. 3. The Improvements of the Physical Education Field in the 6th Edition of KDC (한국십진분류법 제6판 체육학 분야의 분류체계 개선방안)

  • This study investigated general problems concerning the physical education field in the KDC 6th edition based on comparative analysis of academic characteristics and classification system, and suggested some ideas for the improvements of them. Results of this study are is summarized as follows. First, while the academic classification divided items focusing on theoretical disciplines such as physical education, sociology, or business administration, the library classification divided them into details according to sport entries. Second, We examined the classification status of the physical education field of the collection database in the National Library of Korea. The number of physical education field data was 38,585, and of them, that of books having classification codes starting with 692(physical education, sports) was 22,870. This shows that data actually have been published mainly based on academic characteristics rather than sport entries, which causes a problem due to concentration of many data on one classification code. Therefore, this study analyzed keywords around these classification codes. Third, modified classification of items was basically performed through the academic system of the physical education and the keyword analysis, and the typical KDC classification system was maintained as much as possible.

Effects of Dance Sports on Body Composition, Serum Lipids and Leptin in the Middle-Aged Women (댄스 스포츠가 중년여성의 혈중지질 및 렙틴에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Dance Sports on body composition, blood level of lipids and leptin in the middle-aged women. The 24 subjects for this study were divided into three groups by the % fat classification non-obese control group (n=8, CG), obese group with Dance Sports (n=8, OG), and normal group with Dance Sports (n=8, NG). They performed Dance Sports with 60∼80% of HRmax, for 60min a day and three times per week during 12 weeks. The body composition, blood levels of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglyceride and leptin were examined before and after Dance Sports. The percent body fat was decreased in OG and NG significantly. The blood levels of HDL-cholesterol were increased in OG and NC after the Dance Sports. The blood levels of triglyceride was significantly decreased in the same groups. Other serum lipids were not changed significantly. The blood levels of leptin were decreased in OG and NC after the Dance Sports. But the lowering effect of Dance Sports in the obese group (OG) was not improved compared with that in the normal group (NG), suggesting that Dance Sports on the obese group (OG) has no further improving effect in the change of blood lipid and leptin. These results suggest that Dance Sports has a beneficial effect on the change of blood levels of HDL-cholesterol and leptin.

Korean Named Entity Recognition and Classification using Word Embedding Features (Word Embedding 자질을 이용한 한국어 개체명 인식 및 분류)

  • Named Entity Recognition and Classification (NERC) is a task for recognition and classification of named entities such as a person's name, location, and organization. There have been various studies carried out on Korean NERC, but they have some problems, for example lacking some features as compared with English NERC. In this paper, we propose a method that uses word embedding as features for Korean NERC. We generate a word vector using a Continuous-Bag-of-Word (CBOW) model from POS-tagged corpus, and a word cluster symbol using a K-means algorithm from a word vector. We use the word vector and word cluster symbol as word embedding features in Conditional Random Fields (CRFs). From the result of the experiment, performance improved 1.17%, 0.61% and 1.19% respectively for TV domain, Sports domain and IT domain over the baseline system. Showing better performance than other NERC systems, we demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the current status and future prospects through the Classification of sports and ICT convergence technology for the health. Sports and ICT convergence technology could be classified into three types-sports and virtual reality, wearable devices, application and platforms. First, the application of virt ual reality technology gives a user the feeling of reality, fun, and flow through the sensing technology. And this was extended to 'Gamification' concept, gamification of the Nike Plus has become a catalyst in the spread of wea rable devices market. Second, the fastest growing sector in the wearable device area is the health and sports. Chin ese and start-up companies as well as global ICT companies is competing for expanding the pool by releasing the fitness-related wearable devices. Third, the building of platform that can utilize the health and exercise-related dat a collected through the application is expanding.

  • This study is to suggest some ideas for improvements of classification and expansion of the arts in the KDC. In order to this study, analysed changes of terminology, auxiliary tables and notes, and expansion of classification number of the arts from 1st edition to 5th edition of the KDC. The arts of KDC did not changed from 1st to 3rd edition and changed in the 4th edition and 5th edition, and errors and problems of previous edition were not improved, and Classification number and expansion of KDC found out poor rather than different classification schedule because had a lot of Including notes. The result of analysis proposed to improved method to solve the problems.

  • Purpose: McKenzie is a widely-used and conventional clinical therapeutic exercise for patients with mechanical lower back pain. It is a well-designed assessment and classification system for the spine. Main issue: Patients with mechanical lower back pain are classified into one of three mechanical syndromes (posture, dysfunction, or derangement syndrome) by mechanical loading strategies. These methods evaluate symptomatic and mechanical responses during repeated end-range movement and sustained postures. The goal of McKenzie mechanical syndrome diagnosis is to determine directional preferences. Directional preference is a phenomenon of preference for posture or movement in one direction, which reduces or centralizes pain. However, in Korea, there is a lack of awareness of basic McKenzie mechanical syndromes diagnostic concepts. Koreans tend to think of the McKenzie method as a simple lumbar extension exercise. However, an accurate diagnosis of a mechanical syndrome must precede the application of McKenzie exercise. Conclusions: Thus, in this study, I present a classification method of McKenzie mechanical syndrome diagnosis and clinical characteristics of each mechanical syndrome.

EAR: Enhanced Augmented Reality System for Sports Entertainment Applications

  • Augmented Reality (AR) overlays virtual information on real world data, such as displaying useful information on videos/images of a scene. This paper presents an Enhanced AR (EAR) system that displays useful statistical players' information on captured images of a sports game. We focus on the situation where the input image is degraded by strong sunlight. Proposed EAR system consists of an image enhancement technique to improve the accuracy of subsequent player and face detection. The image enhancement is followed by player and face detection, face recognition, and players' statistics display. First, an algorithm based on multi-scale retinex is proposed for image enhancement. Then, to detect players' and faces', we use adaptive boosting and Haar features for feature extraction and classification. The player face recognition algorithm uses boosted linear discriminant analysis to select features and nearest neighbor classifier for classification. The system can be adjusted to work in different types of sports where the input is an image and the desired output is display of information nearby the recognized players. Simulations are carried out on 2096 different images that contain players in diverse conditions. Proposed EAR system demonstrates the great potential of computer vision based approaches to develop AR applications.

Automatic Video Genre Classification Method in MPEG compressed domain (MPEG 부호화 영역에서 Video Genre 자동 분류 방법)

  • Video summary is one of the tools which can provide the fast and effective browsing for a lengthy video. Video summary consists of many key-frames that could be defined differently depending on the video genre it belongs to. Consequently, the video summary constructed by the uniform manner might lead into inadequate result. Therefore, identifying the video genre is the important first step in generating the meaningful video summary. We propose a new method that can classify the genre of the video data in MPEC compressed bit-stream domain. Since the proposed method operates directly on the compressed bit-stream without decoding the frame, it has merits such as simple calculation and short processing time. In the proposed method, only the visual information is utilized through the spatial-temporal analysis to classify the video genre. Experiments are done for 6 genres of video: Cartoon, commercial, Music Video, News, Sports, and Talk Show. Experimental result shows more than 90% of accuracy in genre classification for the well -structured video data such as Talk Show and Sports.
