The Effects of Enjoyment Factors on Recreation Specialization of Water Sports Participants (해양스포츠 참여자의 즐거움 요인이 레크리에이션 전문화에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the influences of sport enjoyment factors on recreation specialization of water sports participants. The study conducted a research survey through purposive sampling method after selecting 4 water sports center in Busan. 260 questionnaires distributed and 246 were selected as final valid sample by removing 14 questionnaires that have insufficient answers. Then data were analyzed through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Window ver. 20.0. The results were as followings. First, the enjoyment factors have a positive effect on recreation specialization. Second, escaping from daily routine and improving technical skill dimensions of enjoyment factors have an influence on centrality of life. Third, improving technical skill dimension of enjoyment factors have a positive effect on past experience. Lastly, flow and improving technical skill dimensions of enjoyment factors have an influence on economic investment.

UX Analysis based on TR and UTAUT of Sports Smart Wearable Devices

  • The main purpose of this research is to investigate relationships between the significant control factors on acceptance intention to User Experience (UX) sports smart wearable devices by applying Technology Readiness (TR) and Unified Theory of Technology (UTAUT). Research survey targeted on users of golf smart devices in Seoul. A total 534 questionnaires were collected and used for testing hypotheses. Methods to analyze the data included frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling in accordance with the purpose of the study by using SPSS and AMOS. The results are as follows; First, positive TR had a significantly positive effect on social influence, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, perceived enjoyment, performance expectancy. Second, negative TR had a significant negative effect on performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived enjoyment. Third, TR had a no significantly effect on behavioral intention. Fourth, performance expectancy, perceived enjoyment and facilitating conditions had a significantly positive effect on behavioral intention. Fifth, behavioral intention had a significantly positive effect on use behavior. Thus it became crucial to identify the difference in acceptance intention models per each products are as follows. Positive TR of golf-related mobile application users has a positive effect on both technology acceptance belief and acceptance intention, whereas negative TR has no statistically significant effect on technology acceptance belief nor acceptance intention.

Influence of MTB Members' Amusement Factor on Leisure Commitment

  • Purpose: This study sought to explore the effects of sport enjoyment on leisure commitment. Research design, data, and methodology: Subjects of this study are members of MTB participation in Seoul and Gyeonggi area and were selected by purposive sampling out of non-probability sampling. 295 questionnaires were collected and 288 questionnaires were used for the study. To analyze data, frequency analysis, factorial analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis were employed. Results: First, as for leisure satisfaction and leisure commitment pursuant, there was significant difference in gender, age, the number of participation in weekly leisure, and hours of participation in weekly leisure. Second, regarding MTB participants' amusement and leisure satisfaction competence had significant influence on all the sub-factors of leisure satisfaction and that both achievement and competence had impacts on social leisure satisfaction. Third, regarding effects on leisure commitment, competence of amusement had impacts on cognitive and behavioral leisure commitment. Fourth, regarding relationships between leisure satisfaction and leisure commitment, satisfaction of mental leisure, social leisure, relaxation leisure, physiological leisure and leisure satisfaction had significant influence on cognitive commitment. Conclusions: Summary of above results showed that MTB participants' amusement factor had significant influence on leisure satisfaction and leisure commitment. Implications were discussed. The Relationship Between Community Characteristics and Participate Continuously of Judo Participants: Focusing on the Value-Attitude-Behavior(VAB) (유도 참여자의 커뮤니티 특성과 지속참여의도의 관계: VAB모델을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of community characteristics of induced participants on values, attitudes, and behaviors (VAB) and intention to continue participation. Convenience sampling (n=192) was used to sample the research subjects, and confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. The results of this study are as follows. 1) Among the community attributes of the participants, reputation, enjoyment, interaction, and social connection had a significant impact. 2) Value-Attitude-Behavior (VAB) was found to have a significant hierarchical impact. 3) Behavioral intention was found to have a significant effect on continuation intention. Through this, the Judo community needs to build a participant-centered organizational culture that can create positive value in order to increase participants' participation in Judo.

The Effect of Presence Experience of Virtual Reality Sports Class on Pleasure, Flow, and Intention to Participate in Sports Activity (가상현실 스포츠실 수업의 프레즌스 경험이 즐거움, 몰입 및 스포츠 활동 참여의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how the presence experience of virtual reality sports room class affects the intention to participate in sports activities when pleasure and immersion are experienced. For the survey, a total of 300 people, 60 copies each, were sampled for the upper grades of elementary school, and a total of 276 copies of data were used for the study, excluding 24 copies with insincere answers from among the questionnaires. The data processing used in this study was SPSS ver. 24.0 and AMOS ver. 24.0 Statistical program was used to perform confirmatory factor analysis, frequency analysis, Cronbach's α coefficient calculation, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis. Through this procedure, the following results were derived. First, the presence experience of the virtual reality sports room class had a positive effect on enjoyment. Second, the relationship between enjoyment and immersion in virtual reality sports room classes had a positive effect. Third, the enjoyment of the virtual reality sports room class had a positive effect on the intention to participate in sports activities. Fourth, the class immersion of the students who participated in the virtual reality sports room had a positive effect on their intention to participate in future sports activities.
