Spherical Indentation Testing에 의한 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V 강의 기계적 물성 평가 (Spherical Indentation Testing to Evaluate Mechanical Properties In 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V Steel)

  • Spherical indentation technique was developed to evaluate the flow properties of metallic materials in carbon steel, stainless steel and alloys, etc. Through the spherical indentation test, differently degraded 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel's mechanical properties were observed and compared with conventional standard test data. The flow properties of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steels were estimated by analyzing the indentation load-depth curve. To characterize the flow property, we used material yield slope and constraint factor index rather than strain-hardening exponent because the variation of strain-hardening exponent was very little and the data showed irregularly. And the constraint factor's effect was small when the material yield slope was taken into account.

  • To improve the efficiency of a reverse engineering process, many researches have recently tried to develop efficient, automatic 3D scanning devices. A new automatic 3D scanning device using a spherical coordinate system mechanism is introduced in this study. This device incorporates a guide motion along the spherical coordinate to compound each 3D data point automatically. The experiments correlating the system assembling tolerance with the form accuracy were conducted to verify the efficiency of the system for the scanning of an object, including complex shapes and manifold sections. In addition, the required time and system accuracy, taken during the scanning process of complicated artifact models, were investigated. Further, based on these empirical results, it was ascertained that the superior productivity of this new device offers a more precise and efficient scan when compared to conventional methodologies.

한국 성인의 연령에 따른 각막 전후면 구면수차에 관한 분석 (Analysis of anterior and posterior corneal spherical aberration with age in the korean)

  • 20~71세 성인을 연령에 따라 5군으로 분류하여 연령에 의한 정상 한국인의 각막 전후면 수차를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 본 연구의 취지에 동의한 사람 가운데 전신질환이나 안질환이 없으며, 굴절이상 수술을 포함하여 안과 관련 수술병력이 없는 성인 290안을 대상으로 Pentacam 을 사용하여 각막곡률반경, 비구면도, 각막 구면수차를 측정하였다. 전체 대상군의 평균 전면 곡률반경과 구면수차 사이에는 음의 상관관계가 나타났고(r = -0.22, p < 0.0001), 평균 후면 곡률반경과 구면수차 사이 또한 음의 상관관계가 나타났다(r = -0.27, p < 0.0001). 또한, 평균 전면 비구면도와 구면수차 사이에는 양의 상관관계가 나타났으나(r = 0.24, p < 0.0001), 평균 후면 비구면도와 구면수차 사이에는 음의 상관관계가 나타났다(r = -0.17, p = 0.00288) 전체 대상군의 전면 구면수차의 평균 값은 $0.482{\pm}0.099{\mu}m$, 후면 구면수차의 평균값은 $-0.098{\pm}0.029{\mu}m$이고, 전체 구면수차의 평균값은 $0.385{\pm}0.097{\mu}m$로 나타났다. 연령에 따른 구면수차의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 전면수차는 연령과 유의한 양의 상관관계(r = 0.227, p<0.0001)를 보였고, 후면 또한 연령과 유의한 양의 상관관계(r = 0.349, p<0.0001)를 나타났다. 한국 정상인의 각막 구면수차 분석을 통하여 한국 정상인 눈의 광학적 부분의 더 나은 이해를 제시하였으며, 현대인의 시력의 질을 향상시키기 위한 추가적인 연구에 활용될 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

한국 어린이의 연령에 따른 굴절이상 분석 (Analysis of Refractive Error according to Aging in Young Children in South Korea)

  • Purpose. to describe the prevalence of refractive error according to aging in young children in South Korea. Methods : From July 2013 to June 2014, five hundred subjects( 250 male subjects, 250 female subjects; aged between 7 and 12 years) were performed in refraction test using the Auto-Refraction. Myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and anisometropia were defined as spherical equivalent(SE)${\leq}-0.50$ diopters, SE ${\geq}+2.00$ D, cylinder error ${\geq}0.75$ D and SE difference${\geq}1.00$ D between binocular eyes, respectively. Results. The refractive error by spherical equivalent among all subjects was myopia 80.41%, astigmatism 44.89%, emmetropia 18.27%, anisometropia 16.92%, and hyperopia 1.32%. The prevalence of myopia increased with age. but hyperopia was decrease. Myopia and astigmatism were much more common in male than females although the difference was not statically significant. Emmetropia and hyperopia were much more common in female than males although the difference was not statically significant. The prevalence of spherical equivalent was much common from -1.00 diopter to 0.99 diopter. On the other hand, the prevalence of myopia was much more than hyperopia. There was a statistical significance between 9 year and 10 year of female in the spherical equivalent power(p>0.05). In all another group of age, there was not a statistical significance as aging in spherical equivalent power(p>0.5). However, there was a statistical significance between male and female as age in the spherical equivalent power(P>0.01). Conclusions: Myopia was the most common refractive error in Korea young children, while hyperopia was decreased after 7 years. There was a statistical significance as age between male and female at spherical equivalent power(P> 0.01). these results suggested that the analysis of the refractive error as age at young children can give the useful diagnosis data for the correction of visual function.

향상된 구형압입 고무 물성평가법 (Enhanced Spherical Indentation Techniques for Rubber Property Evaluation)

  • In this study, we enhance the numerical approach of Lee et al.$^{(1)}$ to spherical indentation technique for property evaluation of hyper-elastic rubber. We first determine the friction coefficient between rubber and indenter in a practical viewpoint. We perform finite element numerical simulations for deeper indentation depth. An optimal data acquisition spot is selected, which features sufficiently large strain energy density and negligible frictional effect. We then improve two normalized functions mapping an indentation load vs. deflection curve into a strain energy density vs. first invariant curve, the latter of which in turn gives the Yeoh-model constants. The enhanced spherical indentation approach produces the rubber material properties with an average error of less than 3%.

구형 대칭성 검정에 대한 연구 (A Test for Spherical Symmetry)

  • 이 논문에서는 카이제곱 구형 대칭성 검정을 제안한다. 이 검정은 검정통계량과 점근적 유의확률을 쉽게 계산할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이 통계량의 구형 대칭성 가정하의 극한 분포를 도출하고 유한표본에서 잘 부합되는지 모의실험을 통해 살펴본다. 또한 다양한 대립분포에서 기존의 구형 대칭성 검정과 검정력을 비교하는 모의실험을 수행하며 마지막으로 실제 자료 분석 예제를 제공한다.

  • Extrusion-spheronization processing combination was used to produce spherical granules with experimental formulations which contain microcrystalline cellulose as a diluent. The produced granules were compared on the basis of the following physical properties ; (a) bulk density, (e) porosity, (f) friabillity and (g) dissolution rate. With the specific experimental formulations used in this study, the increased plate rotational speeds of Marumerizer (400-1200rpm) produced continually more spherical material and also the obtained data indicated that the particle size distribution and dissolution rate depend upon the amount of microcrystalline cellulose used. As a result, the spherical granule preparation with microcrystalline cellulose has good properties in flow rate, packing propertyu and friability and offers a suitable method of granule preparation in pharmaceutical industry.

  • In this paper, forward and reverse analysis is introduced in order to estimate the elastic-plastic properties from a power-law hardening bulk specimen materials with one simple spherical indentation impression test. In order to verify the reliability of the reverse analysis, we have simulated about a large range of materials that essentially cover all engineering materials, using ABAQUS(6.91) program. Then, we could obtained the fitting functions and plastic parameters from the numerical analysis results. Next, through the procedure of reverse analysis we can obtain the yield stress and power-law exponent. Finally, obtain good agreement between the result from reverse analysis and initial input data from experiment.

초 고차항 구 조화 중력모델링에 의한 상향 연속의 정확도 검증 (Accuracy Assessment of the Upward Continuation using the Gravity Model from Ultra-high Degree Spherical Harmonics)

  • 최대 차수 10800의 초 고차 구 조화함수를 전개하여 중력을 모델링 하고, 이를 이용하여 상향 연속의 정확도를 검증하였다. 초 고차 구조화 함수에 의한 중력 모델링에 있어 수치계산적 난점인 르장드르 함수의 언더플로와 오버플로를 128 비트 연산에 의하여 성공적으로 수행하였으며, 이를 이용하여 지오이드상의 중력이상값을 공간 상도 $1'{\times}1'$ 으로 계산하였다. 생성된 중력이상값에 다양한 크기의 잡음을 첨가하고 자료의 간격을 달리하여 상향연속을 수행하였으며, 이로부터 도출된 중력 섭동 벡터와 중력 모델로부터 직접 계산된 섭동 벡터와의 비교를 통하여 실제적인 상향연속의 정확도를 할당하였다. 상향연속 방법의 비교에 있어, 직접방법이 포아송 방법에 비해 월등히 좋은 정확도를 보였고, 지상 중력자료의 잡음이 적을수록 또한 자료의 간격이 작을수록 상향연속에 의한 중력 섭동벡터의 정확도가 높게 나타남을 확인하였다. 특히 차세대 관성항법장치의 정밀 항법을 위한 중력의 필요조건인 5mGal의 정확도를 위해선, 지상 중력의 잡음 정도가 5mGal 이하, 자료의 간격이 2arcmin 이하이어야 함을 도출하였다.

Distortions of Spherical Data in the Wavenumber Domain

  • Sampling rates become inconsistent when spatial data in the spherical coordinate are resampled with respect to latitudinal or longitudinal degree for mathematical processes such as Fourier Transform, and this results in distortions of the processed data in the wavenumber domain. These distortions are more evident in the polar regions. An example is presented to show such distortions during the recovery process of free-air gravity anomalies from ERS-1 satellite radar altimeter data from the Barents Sea in the Russian Arctic, and a method is presented to minimize the distortion using the Lambert Conformal Conic map projection. This approach was found to enhance the free-air gravity anomalies in both data and wavenumber domains.
