  • The domestic unemployment rate is now seriously increasing due to the impact of the international trend of incurring high costs using only a small number of manpower in a situation where the business has been being reduced in size. The nation is taking start-up promotion policies as a way to overcome the problem, but with the advent of excessive entrepreneurs and their concentration on specific areas, their survival is in an unclear situation. Thus, this study was intended to provide a useful direction for successful start-ups by identifying the impact of entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurship, internal characteristics of entrepreneurs, and of competency characteristics, external characteristics of them, on sustainability through business performance. Thus, the purpose of this study was to provide a useful direction for successful start-ups by identifying the impact of entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurship, internal characteristics of entrepreneurs, competency, and external characteristics, on sustainability through business performance. The result of verifying the hypothesis has showed that entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurship, and competency characteristics had a positive effect on business performance, and on the other hand, the business performance had a positive effect on sustainability. In addition, in terms of the impact of entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurship, and competency characteristics on sustainability, all of them had mediating effects on business performance. It is obvious that studies on the factors affecting business performance and corporate sustainability up to now have been carried out by only collecting the independent variables of this study individually or two of them. so it is judged that if the study, which has verified the practical direction in general through the verification of entrepreneurs's internal and external characteristics from various angles, is performed more comprehensively along with the addition of background characteristics of entrepreneurs, such as characteristics of start-up preparation, etc., in the future, more in-depth results will be able to be obtained.

  • Purpose: This study was intended to integrate the evidence of home care service intervention for mothers and children in vulnerable groups through an integrative literature review. Methods: We searched the MEDLINE (PubMED), EMBASE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, CINAHL, DBpia databases. The quality of the articles was assessed by one doctoral researcher and verified by one professor of community health nursing who had participated in the systematic review of literature. A framework was developed to identify the intervention patterns in the selected papers and categorize various elements. The extracted intervention elements were grouped into potential themes, which were verified by assessors on whether they clearly reflected the interventions in the papers. Results: Among 878 searched papers, we selected 16 papers after excluding literature that does not satisfy the selection criteria and quality evaluation. The intervention elements of 16 selected papers were categorized into six themes. The extracted intervention elements were divided into the themes of Patient-specific/Situation-specific care planning and intervention, Emphasis on self care competency, Intense home visit by developmental milestone, Reinforcing and modeling mother-child attachment, Communication and interaction across the intervention, Linkage with community resource and multidisciplinary approach. Conclusion: As a result of the analysis of proper interventions of home care services for mothers and children in vulnerable groups, it was found that it is necessary to consider indispensable intervention elements that can standardize the quality of home care services, and conduct studies on developing intervention programs based on the elements.

  • ChatGPT, a chatbot based on GPT large language models, has gained immense popularity among the general public as well as domain professionals. To assess its proficiency in specialized fields, ChatGPT was tested on mainstream exams like the bar exam and medical licensing tests. This study evaluated ChatGPT's ability to answer questions related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) by testing it on Korea's BIM expertise exam, focusing primarily on multiple-choice problems. Both GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 were tested by prompting them to provide the correct answers to three years' worth of exams, totaling 150 questions. The results showed that both versions passed the test with average scores of 68 and 85, respectively. GPT-4 performed particularly well in categories related to 'BIM software' and 'Smart Construction technology'. However, it did not fare well in 'BIM applications'. Both versions were more proficient with short-answer choices than with sentence-length answers. Additionally, GPT-4 struggled with questions related to BIM policies and regulations specific to the Korean industry. Such limitations might be addressed by using tools like LangChain, which allow for feeding domain-specific documents to customize ChatGPT's responses. These advancements are anticipated to enhance ChatGPT's utility as a virtual assistant for BIM education and modeling automation.

  • With the rapid changes of business environments and the tremendous amount of information generated from those environments, most companies must learn to manage those changes and information more effectively. Furthermore, within those amounts of information, the information that meets with achieving the goal of each company should be selected and managed as a core competency, i.e. the knowledge, visible and invisible assets of the company. Knowledge management, as a tool of creating, sharing, and applying such knowledge, has pursued those requirements of companies and been studied by many researchers and consultants, especially focusing on the Knowledge Map'. It is said that a knowledge map is a powerful tool for scanning and managing the knowledge that exists in a company and that it is the most important part of establishing a knowledge management base. Until now, however, there have been no specific or practical models for establishing a knowledge map, in spite of the concern. For this reason, this paper suggests a practical model for establishing a knowledge map in terms of a knowledge acquisition procedure based on the traditional research concerning concept maps. In addition to this, for examining the validity of the model, a case study on the 'P' steel and iron company has been performed. This paper's methodology on developing a knowledge map and the procedures to apply them to the real business environment will suggest a cornerstone in the field of practical implementation of knowledge management.

  • In clinical clerkships, residents function as trainees, workers, and teachers for other medical students. Although residents care for patients in harsh environments and encounter precarious patient-safety situations, they are working towards becoming competent specialists. Residency education programs are very important in cultivating specialists able to adapt to the rapidly-changing medical environment, and are also necessary to improve the quality of specialist training. Competent specialists not only need clinical competency, but also a wide range of abilities including professionalism, leadership, effective communication, cooperation, and attention to continuous professional development/continuing medical education activities. Each Korean association of specialties has its own educational goals and standardized education programs to help residents learn specific techniques and competencies related to medical care for patients, though the training environment of each residency is different within each trainee hospital. Although it is also important to evaluate residency education programs, currently there is only an examination of knowledge and assessment of skills based on mini-clinical evaluation exercises or direct observation of procedural skills. In order to develop an objective and estimable evaluation tool that can assess the overall achievement level within each training course, it is necessary to evaluate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of residents. Residency education programs need further attention and reform.
