  • Mobile Mapping System is an effective wav to obtain position and image using vehicle equipped with GPS(Global Positioning System), IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit), and CCD camera. It have been used various fields of load facility management, map upgrade and etc. It is difficult to upgrade Mobile Mopping System which is developed from abroad and add other sensors because we don't know the way to integrate and synchronize multi-sensors. In this paper, we present the effective way of the integration and synchronization method for multi sensors we designed and manufactured Synchronization equipment by considering sensors of laser, odometer and etc.

  • 본 연구는 공간데이터 동기화 표준 프로토콜 명세인 SyncML(Synchronization Markup Language)을 이용하여 모바일 장비와 서버사이에 공간데이터를 동기화 구조를 정의하여 상호운용성 확보를 위하여 기존에 사용되어온 GML(Geographic Markup Language) 데이터와의 통합 및 다양한 데이터 소스에 대한 접근 가능성을 제시한다 뿐만 아니라 Metadata 및 Catalog Service를 이용한 공간데이터 동기화 시스템을 제시함으로써 분산되어 있는 다양한 형태의 공간데이터, 비공간 데이터의 관계성을 고려한 데이터 연동을 가능하게 한다.

  • It is required for us to design multimedia synchronization model which present mixed media, tat contains not only continuous medial but also discontinuous media. And it is useful for us to develop multimedia application software. Proposed paper represents model tat expresses continuous media and discontinuous media. And continuous medial show the temporal relations between media objects then discontinuous media spatial relations. The model proposed in this paper is effective in applying the system to guarantee high quality of services and can process real time application form applying efficient multiple key media when events occur. We verified that the proposed model has improved media palyout rate compared with other previous synchronization models through simulation.

  • It is important interest for us to solve skew problem in intermedia synchronization and to solve jitter problem in intramedia synchronization. It propose multimedia synchronization model to represent mixed media which contain temporal media and spatial media, and that helps us to develop multimedia application software efficiently. The proposed paper use four parameters to deal with QoS of intermedia synchronization and relative duration time algorithm and jitter-compensatory time algorithm are presented. When key medium is destroyed we make a delay as much as maximum delay jitter of the key medium in order to playout the other medium as much as that. The result is that the application of maximum delay jitter improves the service quality.

  • For interchange of multimedia informations and presentation as intented by objects composer, there are need to interchange format of informations and control synchronization between medias. And It is therefore need to provide a method and apparatus for synchroniztion control of multimedia objects which can control the conditional, temporal. and spatial synchronization in a MHEG engine developed to execute the functions defined as the international standards. In this paper. We propose to improved method and apparatus for synchronization control of multimedia objects which can execute the synchronized presentation by combining media data needed for presentation of multimedia information, and which enable the interactive processing between the user and the MHEG engine by allowing the user input to be processed during presentation.

  • In the paper, we divide the ATM cells generated by multimedia systems that want to transmit multimedia informations over B-ISDN into two categories:i)a media cell with a media information and ii) a synchronization cell with a synchronization information. We induce a media cell loss equation and a synchroni- zation cell loss equation based on probability distribution functions with on-off source as an input traffic model. In order to meet the requirements of real-time and integrity of multimedia informations, multimedia synchronization cells should provide the delay-sensitive and the loss-sensitive requirements. A traffic control mechanism needs to satisfy above requirements. According to the performance evaluation by a traffic control model simulation, we describe both spatial priority for minimizing the synchronization cell loss and temporal priority for reducing the synchronization cell delay must be applied simultaneously.

  • GPS/GIS and RFID technologies have been changing the paradigm af our society toward ubiquitous era. Especially, geographically distributed mobile agents with transporting objects need to be automatically recognizable and traceable under certain conditions. To do this, fundamental theories and technologies are required to specify and verify spatial and temporal behaviors of agents on geographical space. This paper presents a new formal method, called Calculus of Real-Time Distribution, Mobility, and Interaction (CaRDMI), for this purpose. For specification, CaRDMI defines a map, mobile agents with transporting objects. The movement of on agent is represented by a path on the map, consisting of a list of nodes and a list of edges with spatial and temporal constraints. Interactive constraints among agents are represented by synchronization modes on objects at nodes. These constraints are distinguishable features of CaRDMI from other methods. Especially, many-to-many timed synchronization constraints are noticeable. For verification, CaRDMI presents the spatial, temporal and interactive deduction rules and the spatial and temporal equivalence relations.

  • Recently, with the rapid development of virtual reality technology, there have been more and more applications of virtual reality technology in various fields. In order to realize a virtual reality, a method of implementing a visualization environment through an HMD (Head Mounted Display) is widely used. However, in the current visualization environment through the HMD, the user feels dizziness when worn, It has the disadvantage of imposing restrictions on. In this study, it is aimed to realize virtual reality visualization environment through multi-screen environment which improves the experience effect of virtual environment by using existing screen instead of visualization through HMD, and compensates for shortcomings of HMD method. In order to realize a multi-screen environment as a highly visualized environment, a technique for matching the spatial position of the multi-screen with the spatial position of the virtual environment is required. To do this, we need an efficient method to precisely measure the position of the space, and we propose a spatial position compensation methodology that can efficiently and precisely measure the position of the real space and reflect it in the virtual environment.

  • Mobile mapping systems with CCD cameras, GPS and IMU etc. can acquire massive photos and geographic informations along by roads. But it is easy to involve many errors or omissions of images and informations about roads and facilities with various files. And there were contained any conflicts or non-consistencies in massive mobile mapping data which were acquired by multiple survey teams in various survey regions. As an image tag standard, Exif helps us to encapsulate the precise GPS times and essential informations in the header of JPEG files and uses with the identification code for consistent managements of massive mobile mapping data in this paper. And Systematic management systems with data synchronization technology manage more consistently massive photos and their information.

  • Currently with development of development and the hardware of the superhigh speed network about increase is spreading out at the rapid pace the many multimedia contents quite from internet. The production environment is growing about the multimedia contents because of such as circumstance, as well as multimedia contents will increase. However, Numerous voice, the picture, with text etc. the time of the same multimedia contents and problem of spatial synchronization occur, started. W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) solves like this problem point presented the method for. Does so, SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) where puts a base in XML(Extensible Markup Language) will be able to compose the expression of the multimedia contents which is various standard was proposed. SMIL the individual multimedia object of chain with time will be able to integrate with the multimedia presentation which is synchronized spatial in order. In this paper a variety of multimedia content and synchronization of the time and space, to be represented by integrating the design and implementation of SMIL authoring system.
