Beijing Chuan Di Xia can be traced back to Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is located beside the old post way in the west of Beijing. At present, there are more than seventy units of traditional courtyard houses of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the antique features of the surroundings still survive. The dwelling suited to the historical and regional context and the profound cultural values accumulations etc., have precious historic and cultural values. Associated with the investigation of Chuan Di Xia, the paper explores the site selection, the layout, the spatial constructiveness and the underlying consciousness of Chinese traditional dwellings, unveils the common philosophic basis of traditional dwellings and offers new though for sustainable human settlements.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the spatial characteristics and consciousness structure for The Third Place through the empirical research, focused on housewives as the survey who spend many times in neighborhood. The four types as the consciousness structure are deducted, Nature-oriented type, Unusual experience type, Solitude enjoyment type, and Originality-oriented type. And the spatial characteristics related to the four types are deducted as the followings: Nature-oriented type contains the spatial characteristics as Wild space, Speculative space, Dotty occupation space, and Green way. Unusual experience type contains as Rambling space, Dynamic sojourn space, and Theme-plex space. Solitude enjoyment type contains as Anonymous private space, Encircling space, and Religious space. Originality-oriented type contains as Chatter space, Self development space, and Community space between families. The results of this study represent six characteristics on the third place, advocated by Oldenburg, and show housewives' various needs and concrete examples for the Third place in city.

In this study, the environmental consciousness of Daegu citizen on conservation planning considering the regional characteristics was investigated. Data were collected throughout a survey and 1400 people were selected using a stratified sampling method based on populations of Daegu administration district. Results wee followings; First, the levels of environmental consciousness were different dependent on districts' characteristics. Second, poor awareness on Daegu Agenda 21 (Clear and Green Daegu 21) were shown. Daegu Agenda 21 is the action plan for the sustainable environmental conservation activities of the City of Daegu. Third, waste was the most serious environmental problems of Daegu, air quality was second worst, and third was river water quality from the survey, but differentiated awareness was shown dependent on regional spatial factors and pollution emission factors. Last, a public environmental education was the most important issue to make invigorations and progress for future environmental policy.

Since the late of 20th Century, philosophy, art, and aesthetics have attention to the movement of object that persue the dynamics and qualitative change, not existing fixed and quantitative object. Qualitative continuity, including discontinuity of specific spot and surface that occurs sudden change, is distinct characteristics considered in contemporary logo civilization, which combines and disperses according as various purpose among the different elements and objects. Therefore, I studied about the characteristics of qualitative continuity that creates the change and the differentiation continuously through the "formative characteristics of the continuity expressed in contemporary fashion" of my preceding paper. This paper is the following study of above mentioned paper, and Investigates about aesthetic consciousness leading to the various change. This is intends to consider the trans-aesthetic consciousness that accepts dynamic movement and change the different object and reforms new relationship continuously. This studies' conclusion is as follows; 1) sublimity-Infinity, de-constructive, excessive 2) jouissance - functional, structural 3) paradox-perceptual, spatial. A study about the trans-aesthetic consciousness would help to offer philosophical basis, and make a change building aesthetic foundation in explaining various relationship like as phenomenon of the retro, neo, post, fusion expressed since the late of 20th Century.

We are inundated with visual media; countless such media, ranging from Hollywood blockbusters, American drama, Korean films with enormous budgets to independent films, appeal to our sensibility and engage our empathy and insight. The making of mega-hits that attract millions and a drama of viewer ratings of over forty percent lies in how persuasive the sensibility of the narratives are to an audience from a different milieu and personality. It leads to a question: how can empathy of such a varied group of people be won towards the perspective of directors and authors who come from different nationality and ethnicity to themselves? In exploring the issue, I aim to adopt a psychoanalytical view of human psychology, into consciousness and unconsciousness. Freudian psychoanalysis and Jungian analytic psychology in depth psychology underpin my analysis of visual media. It further enables my examination of unconsciousness applied to spatial design, which is elementary in visual media. In sum, this research aims to improve understanding of spatial design in films, a product of creative human consciousness, by interpreting this as an outcome of the unconscious. This is to apply the concept of collective unconscious in Jung's analytical psychology.

본 논문은 대공간이며 다중이용시설인 영화관의 피난시설에 대한 제도적 개선을 위하여 자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법으로는 1차적으로 영화관 관련 피난시설에 대한 문헌조사로 관련 법제도에 대해서 분석했으며, 2차적으로 영화관의 이용자인 관객을 대상으로 피난시설에 대한 의식 설문조사를 실시하여 분석했다. 분석결과 개선항목으로 관람석 출구의 폭과 개수, 복도의 폭에 대한 개선 요구의식이 높게 나타나 이용자 중심의 제도개선 필요성을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 정보처리 관점에서 기억과 주의와의 비교를 통하여 의식의 개념과 기능적 특성을 탐색해 보고, 의식과 기억과 주의의 관계에 기반한 정보처리와 작업기억의 특성에 대한 대안적 관점을 제시하고자 하였다. 인간의 심적 활동을 설명하기 위해서는 어떤 개념들이 설명에 사용될 만큼 충분히 잘 이해되고 있는지에 대한 합의가 필요하기 때문에 공통적으로 이해되는 기초개념이 무엇인지를 알아내는 것은 중요하다. 기억과 주의와의 비교를 통해 정보처리 관점에서 의식은 주변 환경과 자극에 대한 그리고 이를 처리하는 정보처리과정에 대해 자각하고, 필요한 행동을 결정내리고 수많은 정보들을 통합하고 통제할 수 있는 작동시스템의 특성을 가진다. 의식은 정보의 부호화와 저장, 인출이란 특성을 가진 기억, 그리고 정보의 선택과 분할이란 특성을 가진 주의와 개념적으로 기능적으로 구분되는 심적 구성체 일 수 있다. 이러한 경우 작업기억은 다양한 구성요소로 이루어진 하나의 시스템이라기 보다는 의식과 기억과 주의가 함께 혹은 독립적으로 작동하는 정보처리의 작업장일 수 있다. 또한 의식과 기억과 주의란 심적구성체가 함께 혹은 독립적으로 작동하는 심적구조에서 정보처리는 의식적인 처리과정과 무의식적인 처리과정의 연속선상에서 위계 병렬적으로 일어날 수 있다.

본 연구에서는 오사카부 야오시를 대상으로 사회적 최하층계급의 거주지에서 나타나는 거주지분리현상을 살펴보았다. 근세이후 사회적 차별과 배제의 대상이었던 신분계급인 부락민은 그들만의 분리된 거주지역을 형성하였고, 제도적으로 인정되었던 차별에 대하여 조직적으로 투쟁하는 과정에서 구성원간의 공동제 의식이 강화되었다. 한편, 야오시에는 또 다른 피차별집단인 재일한국 조선인과 사회적 소수자인 베트남 난민 중국인이 증가하게 되었고, 부락민과 재일한국 조선인에 의하여 사회적 소수자의 인권과 권리를 옹호하기 위한 활동이 전개되기 시작하였다. 최근 제조업체의 제3세계로의 이전과 불황의 여파 등으로 인하여 동화지구를 존속하게 했던 영세공장들의 수가 줄어들고, 하나 둘 없어진 공장부지에 새로운 주택들이 들어서기 시작하고 있다. 격리된 동화지구로서의 야오시의 특성은 약해지고 있지만 사회적 소수자끼리의 공동체의식에 기초한 투쟁과 지속적인 인권활동은 야오시의 행정방침에도 지대한 영향을 끼치고 있다. 야오시의 경우, 가시적으로 나타나는 공간상의 분리의 의미는 약화되고 있으나 지역민 간의 공동체의식은 지속되고 있다는 점에서 격리공간의 변형된 형태, 혹은 소멸화 단계에 있는 거주지 분리지역의 사회적 형태를 보여준다고 할 수 있다.

The residential environment is a place which reflects the gradual evolution of human consciousness because it is a cultural space the term, 'houses' is not relevant in this context as it literally means 'contains'. The long history of human living habits cannot be 'contained' within a space, but can be 'expressed' by a space and by the way the space is used. Furthermore, due to the way it is typically constructed, the basic characteristics of the house usually cannot be rapidly changed to accommodate new habits. However, recent changes that have taken place to the characteristics of the traditional master room suggest that traditional societal values associated with patriarchy have diminished. The current trend where priority is given to children's education also affects such a change. Existing researches related to the master room is confined to the behavioral use of the space and the composition of the physical space, while research on the master room its plane type has not been carried out. Therefore, in this study, apartment model houses are selected, and are classified according to the types of master room. An analysis is then carried out of the master room based on the occupants' requirements in terms of consciousness. Any planning modifications where required are then suggested. This research comprises the followings stages. First, an examination is carried out of existing research on the master room in order to understand its background and spatial components. A definitiones of related terms is also provided. Second, an analysis is carried out of the model houses exhibited at Suwan District, examining the typical standard that has been selected for the master room. Third, an analysis is conducted of the topics and questions to be selected for a questionnaire. Fourth, an analysis is carried out of the consciousness, satisfaction and requirements of the residents, as respondents in the questionnaire, related to the master room. and Research is then conducted of the architectural methods for planning the master room. Finally, future countermeasures for planning the master room are described based on the above analysis and research findings.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the planning of adolescents preferred space, and fur the purpose of the study analyzed the spaces made by them in the web site where 3-dimension space manipulating is possible and captured their consciousness of space. The study was to interview 60 adolescents in the web-site by video chatting and observation by video ethnography. The results are as follows. 1) Three-dimension space is where adolescents express their present preference for spaces of residence, leisure and outer activities, and where they reveal their desire to be realized in the future. 2) Adolescents foster friendship in the cyberspace, where they meet friends and enjoy talking and share their desire for space creation which is hardly come true in reality. 3) It is possible to grasp their latent preference of space, and actualization of the cyber preference would give them more satisfaction.
