  • In general, spatial filtering method was proposed to simplify measurement system through parallel Processing hardware. Spatial filtering is a method of detection that we can get a spatial pattern information, as we process a special space pattern, to say, as we process spatial parallel process by using the spatial weighting function. The important processing characteristics will be depended in according to how ire design a spatial weighting function, a spatial sensitive distribution. The form of the weighting function which is realized from the generally used spatial filtering is fixed and the weighting value was already became a binary-value. In this paper, we propose a new method in order to construct adaptive measurement systems. This method is a weighting function design to make multi-valued and variable.

  • This paper proposes an efficiently representing method of spatial cues on multichannel spatial audio coding. The Binaural Cue Coding (BCC) method introduced recently represents multichannel audio signals by means of Inter Channel Level Difference (ICLD) or Source Index (SI). We tried to express more efficiently ICLD and SI information based on Inter Channel Correlation in this paper. We adopt different spatial cues according to ICC and propose a compensation method of empty spectrums created by using SI. We performed a MOS test and measuring spectral distortion. The results show that the proposed method can reduce the bitrate of side information without large degradation of the audio quality.

  • 본 연구는 퍼지개념을 적용한 GIS 공간분석법을 도입하고 이를 통해 쓰레기 매립장 입지 평가를 수행하였다. 기존 연구는 GIS의 공간 중첩 분석법을 적용하여 입지분석이나 적지선정 등을 수행하였으나 공간 중첩분석은 보통집합의 불린 논리를 바탕으로 공간자료를 처리하였기 때문에 공간자료의 불확실성과 자료분류 기준의 부적합성을 고려하여 분석할 수 없었다. 그러므로 신뢰할 수 있는 분석결과를 제시할 수 없어 실제 문제에서 적극 활용되지 못하였다. 본 연구는 쓰레기 매립장을 대상 시설로 선정하고 객관적인 접근법으로 퍼지 공간분석 법을 적용하였으며, 구체적인 적용과정으로서 연속형 공간자료에 대한 소속함수의 정의방법과 퍼지분석을 위한 퍼지입력값의 생성, 그리고 쓰레기 매립장 입지평가를 위한 분석인자의 선정기준 및 자료분류기준을 검토하여 이것으로부터 소속함수를 결정하는 매개변수를 추출하는 방법을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 베리오그램 추정을 통한 공간 종속성 추정방법에 있어서 의사우도 사용 방법을 설명하고, 모의실험을 통하여 전통적으로 사용되는 다른 방법들과 그 특성을 비교하고자 한다. 의사우도를 이용한 공간 종속 추정방법들은 그 통계적 성질이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 전통적인 방법들에서 요구되어지는 관측치가 갖는 래그(lag)들을 미리 지정된 래그로 그룹화하는 과정이 필요 없어서 활용상의 우수성도 함께 가지고 있다. 또한, 이 방법에 대한 로버스트 방법을 개발하고 그 특성을 알아보고자 한다.

  • The present study is concerned with the application of Constant arc-length method that proposed by Crisfield in the investigation of the geometrically nonlinear behaviour of spatial structures composed by truss or beam element. The arc-length method can trace the full nonlinear equilibrium path of Spatial structure far beyond the critical point such as limit or bifurcation point. So, we have developed the constant arc-length method of Crisfield to analysis spatial structure. The finite element formulation is used to develop the 3d truss/beam element including the geometrical nonlinear effect. In an effort to evaluate the merits of the methods, extensive numerical studies were carried out on a number of selected structural systems. The advantages of Constant arc length method in tracing the post-buckling behavior of spatial structures, are demonstrated.

  • The performance of the improvement method of spatial resolution for satellite images based on the generalized inverse matrix is superior to the conventional methods. But, this method calculates the coefficient values for extracting the spatial information from the relation between a small pixel and large pixels. Accordingly it has the problem of remaining the blocky patterns at the result image. In this paper, a new generalized inverse matrix method is proposed which is different in the calculation method of coefficient values for extracting the spatial information. In this proposed metod, it calculates the coefficient values for extracting the spatial information from the relation between a small pixel and small pixels. Consequently it can improve the spatial resolution more efficiently without remaining the blocky patterns at the result image. The effectiveness of the proposed method is varified by simulation experiments with real TM image data.

  • Performance based seismic design is a very efficient method in evaluating the seismic capacity of building. In this study, the method estimating the performance point of the spatial structures based on capacity spectrum method(CSM) is proposed. And for efficient evaluation for the performance point of the spatial structures, the algorithm to convert spatial structural system to ESDOF system is proposed. Its efficiency is confirmed by comparing with time history analysis of full model. And dynamic behaviors of spatial structures are examined by using this method. At last, evaluation of structural performance according to variation of stiffness after plastic deformation is carried out.

Super-spatial resolution method combined with the maximum-likelihood expectation maximization (MLEM) algorithm for alpha imaging detector

  • Recently, the demand for alpha imaging detectors for quantifying the distributions of alpha particles has increased in various fields. This study aims to reconstruct a high-resolution image from an alpha imaging detector by applying a super-spatial resolution method combined with the maximum-likelihood expectation maximization (MLEM) algorithm. To perform the super-spatial resolution method, several images are acquired while slightly moving the detector to predefined positions. Then, a forward model for imaging is established by the system matrix containing the mechanical shifts, subsampling, and measured point-spread function of the imaging system. Using the measured images and system matrix, the MLEM algorithm is implemented, which converges towards a high-resolution image. We evaluated the performance of the proposed method through the Monte Carlo simulations and phantom experiments. The results showed that the super-spatial resolution method was successfully applied to the alpha imaging detector. The spatial resolution of the resultant image was improved by approximately 12% using four images. Overall, the study's outcomes demonstrate the feasibility of the super-spatial resolution method for the alpha imaging detector. Possible applications of the proposed method include high-resolution imaging for alpha particles of in vitro sliced tissue and pre-clinical biologic assessments for targeted alpha therapy.

  • 본 논문에서는 공간 데이터 웨어하우스에서 시공간 분석지원을 위한 공간 데이터의 비중복 적재 기법을 제안한다. SDW는 이기종의 다양한 서비스를 지원하는 SDBMS로부터 공간 데이터를 추출한다. 제안 기법에서는 SOW에 소스로 참여하는 SDBMS에서 변경된 부분만을 추출하고, 이를 공간연산을 통해 중복된 데이터를 제거한 후 통합된 형태로 적재함으로써 빠른 공간 데이터 분석을 지원할 수 있으며, 저장 공간의 낭비를 줄일 수 있다. 이는 공간 마이닝등의 시간에 따른 분석 및 예측 분야에 효율적인 형태로 공간 데이터를 적재한다.

  • Recently, the demand of the Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) has been increased to a large extent, and a real-time traffic information service based on the internet system became very important. When ITS companies carry out real-time traffic services, they find some traffic data missing, and use the conventional method of reconstructing missing values by calculating average time trend. However, the method is found unsatisfactory, so that we develop a new method based the spatial and spatial-temporal models. A cross-validation technique shows that the spatial-temporal model outperforms the others.
