REMARKS ON CS-STARCOMPACT SPACES

  • A space X is cs-starcompact if for every open cover $\mathcal{U}$ of X, there exists a convergent sequence S of X such that St(S, $\mathcal{U}$) = X, where $St(S,\mathcal{U})\;=\; \cup\{U{\in}\mathcal{U}:U{\cap}S{\neq}\phi\}$. In this paper, we prove the following statements: (1) There exists a Tychonoff cs-starcompact space having a regular-closed subset which is not cs-starcompact; (2) There exists a Hausdorff cs-starcompact space with arbitrary large extent; (3) Every Hausdorff centered-Lindel$\ddot{o}$f space can be embedded in a Hausdorff cs-starcompact space as a closed subspace.

X선 촬영실 내 공간선량의 분포와 거리 역자승 법칙과의 관련성 (Relationship between the Distribution of Space doses in X-ray Rooms and the "Inverse Square Law of Distance")

  • 본 연구는 손, 머리, 복부 등의 X선 촬영 시에 발생되는 공간선량이 어느 정도인지를 알아보고, 산란선에 의한 공간선량의 강도가 "거리 역자승 법칙"에 의해 감쇠하는지를 파악했다. 첫째, 손처럼 X선 산란선 발생량이 적은 촬영의 공간선량은 대부분 "거리 역자승 법칙"에 근접한 감쇠가 이루어지면서, 2m 거리에서는 전혀 측정되지 않았다. 둘째, 머리나 복부처럼 X선 산란선 발생량이 많은 촬영의 공간선량은 조사야 중심을 기준으로 30cm에서 1m 거리까지는 "거리 역자승 법칙"보다 더 높은 비율의 감쇠가 이루어지고, 1m에서 2m 거리까지는 "거리 역자승 법칙"에 의한 감쇠가 이루어졌다. 따라서 X선 촬영실 내에서는 손 촬영의 경우 조사야 중심으로부터 적어도 2m 이상 떨어져 있어야 하고, 머리나 복부 촬영의 경우 촬영실 내 모든 공간에서 보호용구를 이용한 X선 피폭 방어조치가 요구된다.

EXTENSION PROBLEM OF SEVERAL CONTINUITIES IN COMPUTER TOPOLOGY

  • The goal of this paper is to study extension problems of several continuities in computer topology. To be specific, for a set $X\;{\subset}\;Z^n$ take a subspace (X, $T_n^X$) induced from the Khalimsky nD space ($Z^n$, $T^n$). Considering (X, $T_n^X$) with one of the k-adjacency relations of $Z^n$, we call it a computer topological space (or a space if not confused) denoted by $X_{n,k}$. In addition, we introduce several kinds of k-retracts of $X_{n,k}$, investigate their properties related to several continuities and homeomorphisms in computer topology and study extension problems of these continuities in relation with these k-retracts.

  • SpaceX Falcon 9에 탑재된 초음속 그리드핀 유동에 관한 수치해석을 통하여 해당 그리드핀의 공력특성을 평가하였다. 3차원 정상 수치해석 계산의 효율성 향상을 위하여 단위 그리드핀 개념을 도입하였다. 본 연구에서는 발사체의 받음각, 외부 프레임, 그리고 커넥팅 로드 등의 영향성을 보정하는 전후 처리과정을 개선하였고, 이에 따라 최종 공력계산의 정확도가 과거 연구에 비하여 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 이후 천음속과 초음속 비행조건에서 다양한 받음각을 갖는 SpaceX Falcon 9 그리드핀의 공력특성을 평가하였다.

  • In this paper a flow will be a pair (X, T) where X is a compact Hausdorff space, and T is a homeomorphism of X onto X. We will usually but not always assume that X is a metric space. We sometimes suppress the homeomorphism T notationally, and just denote a flow by X. General references for the preliminary dynamical notations discussed in this section are [5] and [3].   • The solutions of a homogeneous system in state space form $\dot{x}=Ax$ are to the form $x=e^{At}x_0$ and the solutions of an inhomogeneous system $\dot{x}=Ax(t)+f(t)$ are to the form $x=e^{At}x_0+{{\int}_0^t}\;e^{A(t-{\tau})}f({\tau})d{\tau}$. In this note we show that the solution of descriptor systems under some conditions exists, and is unique, moreover it is interesting to know the solutions of descriptor system are schematically like the solutions as in the state space form. Also we will give some algorithms to compute these solutions.

  • Observing that for any space X, there is a Wallman sublattice $\mathfrak{A}_X$ and that QFX is homeomorphic to a subspace $X_q$ of the Wallman cover $\mathfrak{L}(\mathfrak{A}_X)$ of $\mathfrak{A}_X$, we show that ${\beta}QFX$ and $\mathfrak{L}(\mathfrak{A}_X)$ are homeomorphic.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of a weakly P-space which is a generalization of a P-space and prove that for any covering map f : $X{\rightarrow}Y$, X is a weakly P-space if and only if Y is a weakly P-space. Using these, we investigate the minimal basically disconnected cover of weakly P-spaces and their products.

On Homotopy Equivalence Of Nonnilpotent Spaces And Its Applications

  • In this paper we generalize the Whitehead theorem which says that a homology equivalence implies a homotopy equivalence for nilpotent spaces. We make some theorems on a homotopy equivalence of non-nilpotent spaces, e.g., the solvable space or space satisfying the condition (T**) or space X with $\pi$1(X) Engel, or locally nilpotent space with some properties. Furthermore we find some conditions that the Wall invariant will be trivial.
