Structural Analysis of Play Space by Game Level Goals in FPS (FPS게임레벨의 목표에 따른 플레이공간 구조분석)

  • A game player experiences gameplay that game designer sets in play space according to goal of a game. Player's experiential behaviors are affected by the space structure of game level and its arrangements. Therefore, it is an important process to understand and analyze the space structure of game level at the initial stage of game designing. In this paper, we was aimed to analyze the space structure and components of FPS game level based on space theory. To attain the objective, observation was carried out on a total of 204 levels in 3 different kinds of FPS games and the difference in the distribution of spatial composition factors by the goal of a game level was identified. As a result of the analysis, experiential behaviors in the play space show a clear difference according to the goal of the game level and the space structure that derives this is different.

2D-3D Conversion Method Based on Scene Space Reconstruction (장면의 공간 재구성 기법을 이용한 2D-3D 변환 방법)

  • Previous 2D-3D conversion methods to generate 3D stereo images from 2D sequence consist of labor-intensive procedures in their production pipelines. This paper presents an efficient 2D-3D conversion system based on scene structure reconstruction from image sequence. The proposed system reconstructs a scene space and produces 3D stereo images with texture re-projection. Experimental results show that the proposed method can generate precise 3D contents based on scene structure information. By using the proposed reconstruction tool, the stereographer can collaborate efficiently with workers in production pipeline for 3D contents production.

  • The hand carry digital media appliances is going to use widely, because the machines became to be small size and light weight for easy carry. Also the demand of various contents was increased for small personal media player:PMP. Now a day PMP was used as a private leisure instruments and will be used as active digital tools like a space culture guiding tools. In this research we will study on the development of user interface for space culture guide contents. Especially we proposed checking tools to be used in test and development phase of UI design for small display appliances.

  • This research focused on the improved alternatives of the ordinance which practically control the open space in-situ, public open space and landscape construction related to city landscape for the healthy physical and mental life of the city dwellers. The contents of the study are as follows: 1. The special law of Landscape Architecture should be legislated. 2. The portion of landscaping should be changed by up-grading in the Ordinance of Landscape area and planting and the terms of landscape Facilities should include the ecological aspects in it's contents in the law. 3. The administration of local governments should actively lead and support the dwellers to make the roof gardens and the window gardens in the building area of cities or commercial districts which have relatively low rate of green space. 4. Any new construction and restoration of the buildings with preservation of the natural environment and creation of public open space should be given incentive and Set-back space in aesthetic area should have appropriate planting area and facilities in it. 5. Organizing professional landscape evaluation committee and composing evaluation standards are very important because of the contemporary proposition of the establishment of the establishment of ecological space and conservation of urban natural space. Because of the characteristics of Landscape Architecture, the Provisions of landscape Architecture Design and landscape architecture supervision of the specialist should be legislated and the Landscape Architectural Organization should be established within the Government.

  • As the animation prevails through the public recently, animation fields editing and creating greatly have attention and get into the spotlight. Nevertheless, such solutions in LINUX environment tend to be worse than those in Windows. In this paper, we propose Motion Space Prime in LINUX, which is capable of creating stop motion animation easily such as clay animation. Users can interactively edit motions captured by a digital camcorder.

  • In this study, presents geographic analysis of Heuksando Island We classified each area of the island according to physical attributes. Then, we derived the meaning of each area as a physical space and virtual space. In order to symbolize the events that happens around the spaces, we set directions and relations for those spaces. In this process, we figured the stages of voluntary experience that originates from the user's actions. This study proposes hierarchical categories of virtual environments from spacial reality, experience and the creation of simulacrum.
