LCA 및 LCC를 고려한 환경친화적 리모델링의 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of Green Remodeling Considering LCA and LCC)

  • This study aims to presents Evaluation Method of Green Remodeling that analyze the value of environment through expense, using the method of life cycle cost and life cycle assessment simultaneously. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Evaluation Model developed in this study can convert economical value of environment into cost by integrating. In addition, the model can apply as a useful tool to estimation of economical design alternative as well as quantification of environmental loads and costs. Evaluation Model presented In this study observe energy consumption and the environmental load emission with qualification, it can forecast effect of environmental cost that cost estimation is expected to be added to energy cost rate by being possible. Synthetically, when Estimation Model and computer program that developed in this study is applies to the construction industry; reasonable management of environmental load is convenient at each step of Green Remodeling. In addition, at preliminary design phase, practical use may be possible by reasonable yardstick about various alternatives and improvement of design alternatives likewise by grasping environmental effect.

  • As a result of rapid aging speed in our society, it is necessary to supply a lot of housing for older people in near future. When we think that high portion of residence in rental housing complex composed of small units is the elderly, the housing units in those apartments have to be designed for the physical, mental, social, and economical conditions of elderly people who lives in such a residential complex. Considering these living conditions of the elderly, this study proposes a remodeling prototype of a living unit for older people in rental housing complex. For the research of this topic, various characteristics of the elderly and the environmental requirements for them firstly have been analysed from the literature survey and the interviews with two residents living in a rental apartment. And the design considerations for each space of the housing unit such as entrance, living room, bed room, bath room, and so forth have been explored. Based on the design guidelines above, the remodeling plan of a housing unit for older people has been propose as a result of this study.

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze and supplement the standards related to healthcare facilities, negative pressure isolation wards, and emergency treatment facilities. In addition, through environmental investigations, analysis of emergency remodeling cases centered on the structural and HVAC characteristics of healthcare facilities is conducted. Methods: Domestic and foreign standards related to healthcare facilities were analyzed. Field investigations and architectural drawing analysis of general and emergency treatment facilities were conducted. Results: Healthcare facilities have different space classifications and air conditioning methods depending on the site situation. Emergency treatment facilities are classified into cases where the HVAC system is remodeled and portable negative pressure unit is installed, and some facilities did not meet the standards for differential pressure and air change rate. Implications: When developing emergency remodeling technology, remodeling and safety evaluation guidelines, it is considered possible to propose clearer guidelines for emergency remodeling treatment facilities for infectious diseases in Korea by referring to the results of this study.

  • If remodeling is defined as activities that restore the overall function of a building up to the standards currently demanded rather than as a simple replacement or repair of old facilities and equipment, the main task of remodeling should be the reduction in differences between areas, establishment of a functional linkage between departments and setup of a smooth circulation system. Therefore, this study is an analysis of remodeling strategies and construction processes to resolve major tasks of remodeling. Through this research we acquire concluding remarks. 1) The remodeling strategies of equipment-intensive areas can be divided into two measures: utilizing the existing buildings (the main buildings) the most, and of concentrated relocation in the new buildings. The former method is advantageous in that the main building serves as a center in hospital layouts because concentrated placement of the diagnosis/ treatment area and the supply area benefit the overall operation in terms of functions. However, the measure has limits in that it is difficult to install the facilities and equipment of the new demands due to the low ceilings, which serve as a potential challenge in future growth and changes. 2) The latter measure is the one in which equipment-intensive areas and the areas that are absolutely short of space are first placed in the new buildings while other areas (the outpatient area, the administration area and the miscellaneous areas) are in the existing building (main building). Given the possibility of development In the future, concentrated placement in the new buildings can be said to be more effective order to actively address future growth and changes.

  • This study focuses on developing a building object recognition technology for efficient use in the remodeling of buildings constructed without drawings. In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, smart technologies are being developed. This research contributes to the architectural field by introducing a deep learning-based method for automatic object classification and recognition, utilizing point cloud data. We use a TD3D network with voxels, optimizing its performance through adjustments in voxel size and number of blocks. This technology enables the classification of building objects such as walls, floors, and roofs from 3D scanning data, labeling them in polygonal forms to minimize boundary ambiguities. However, challenges in object boundary classifications were observed. The model facilitates the automatic classification of non-building objects, thereby reducing manual effort in data matching processes. It also distinguishes between elements to be demolished or retained during remodeling. The study minimized data set loss space by labeling using the extremities of the x, y, and z coordinates. The research aims to enhance the efficiency of building object classification and improve the quality of architectural plans by reducing manpower and time during remodeling. The study aligns with its goal of developing an efficient classification technology. Future work can extend to creating classified objects using parametric tools with polygon-labeled datasets, offering meaningful numerical analysis for remodeling processes. Continued research in this direction is anticipated to significantly advance the efficiency of building remodeling techniques.

  • 본 연구는 전통적인 한옥의 주거 형태를 유지하고 있으면서 동시에 현재에도 주거생활을 수용하고 있는 북촌의 도시형 한옥주거를 대상으로 하되, 한옥의 공간을 변형시켜 임대세대가 들어설 수 있도록 변형한 임대형 한옥주거의 개조 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 이는 각 실이 구조적으로 서로 관련되어 여러 실과의 관계 속에서 그 위상이 정해지고 고유의 기능을 발휘하게 되는 전통주택의 공간변화와 현대 생활을 수용함에 따라 각 공간요소의 사회적 성격이 변화된 양상을 객관적으로 밝히기 위하여 공간구문론을 주된 분석방법으로 하였다. 연구의 결과 임대형 공간으로 사용되기 위한 평면의 원형이 변형된 도시형 한옥의 경우, 수직적 증축 및 확장이 제도적으로 제한이 되어 있어, 기존의 도시형 한옥에서 수평적 변형 및 변용이 이루어졌으며, 주인과 임대인의 공간으로 구분되면서 마당과 대청의 위계변화 및 기존 주인공간의 사성이 강화됨을 확인하였다.

대학도서관 열람실 공간기준에 관한 연구 (Study on the Spatial Standard for Reading Rooms in University Libraries)

  • This research aims to establish the size standard of university library's user space, and present the standard and method to calculate total area required in the planning of new building construction and remodeling. Nine university libraries newly constructed or remodeled since 2000 were selected among the libraries of large scale universities with more than 10,000 enrolled students as the target libraries in this research. The target libraries were classified into A group (five cases partially remodeled) and B group (four cases newly constructed or fully remodeled) on the basis of the change of times. A university library can be divided into three spaces (user space, administration space and public space). This research classified the reading room in the user space into bookshelf zone, reading zone, information/office zone and hall/other zone, and analyzed area ratio according to each zone. B group's bookshelf zone decreased 12% more than A group, and B group's reading zone increased 10% more than A group. However, there was no big change in the area ratio of information/office zone and hall/other zone. This can be interpreted that university library changes from book and archive preservation-oriented space to user-oriented space. This research presented a proper reading room area calculation method, based on the capacity of books, by reflecting such a change. Each zone's standard was set up through classification of domestic and international standards, based on which, the calculation method of university library's total floor area required was presented. The reason why there was difference in university library's total floor area required according to domestic standard and international standard was that the number of enrolled students per seat in the reading room was different. The area calculation methods presented in this research can be utilized as useful data upon planning university library construction or remodeling.

쾌적한 정주환경 조성을 위한 농촌마을 리모델링 추진 방안 연구 (A Study on the Remodeling Plans of Rural Villages for a Pleasant Settlement Environment)

  • 본 연구에서는 2013년부터 시행되는 '농촌마을 리모델링 시범사업'의 체계적 수행을 위한 추진체계와 세부내용을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 농촌마을 리모델링 관련 연구는 현재까지 리모델링의 목적이나 기능에 따른 다양한 개념 연구와 농촌주택, 마을쉼터, 공공시설 등과 같은 개별시설에 대한 규모와 배치기준 등에 대한 분야에 한정되어 있어 종합적으로 농촌공간을 리모델링하는 계획 수립과 이를 현장에서 적용할 수 있도록 기준을 제시하는 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서 농촌마을 리모델링 추진체계로 첫째, 지역주민의 참여를 유도하는 사업의 준비단계, 즉 주민이 주체가 되어 자발적으로 마을정비 방향 설정, 시설물형태, 위치배치 등 사업내용에 대한 토론이나 포럼을 거쳐 마을계획서 작성을 하는 것, 둘째, 지자체에서 선정된 사업내용, 규모, 시기, 예산내역 및 예상성과 등을 검토하여 사업시행계획을 수립하는 것, 셋째, 관련전문가들에 의해 공간 및 시설계획과 법제도 검토를 통해 농촌마을 리모델링 계획을 수립하는 것 등을 제안하였다. 현재 농촌마을 리모델링은 개별적 사업을 추진하는 방식에서 마을공간에 대한 종합적 계획 방식으로 변하고 있어 이를 위한 주민, 지자체, 전문가의 역할을 정의하여 리모델링 사업이 효율적으로 진행될 수 있는 추진 체계를 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 리모델링사업에 관련한 내용에 국한되어 수행되었으나 향후에는 농촌마을 리모델링의 대상별 세부기준과 리모델링 결과에 대한 모니터링 연구가 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

  • 본 연구는 교육품질에 직·간접적인 영향을 미치는 다양한 환경요소 중 음환경에 대한 내용을 W대학 인문대 소공연장의 리모델링 사례를 통해 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상인 W대학 인문관의 소공연장은 강의전용 공간으로 리모델링하기에 앞서 적당한 울림이 필요한 공연장과 상대적으로 음성의 명료성이 중요한 강의실의 음향성능 차이를 인지하고 강의전용 공간에 적합한 실내 음환경을 조성하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 리모델링 전 음향성능 측정, 음향 시뮬레이션을 통한 마감재료 변경안 제시, 리모델링 후 음향성능 측정의 단계를 거쳐 리모델링에 따른 강의전용공간의 음향성능 개선안의 사례를 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 과정은 추후 마감재 변경을 통한 강의전용 공간 등 교육공간에 적합한 실내 음향성능 확보의 사례로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

대학도서관 공간활용 방안 연구 (A Study on Utilization Method of Spaces on the University Libraries)

  • 최근 대학도서관을 중심으로 복합문화공간을 표방하며 신축 및 리모델링이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 즉, 디지털 및 멀티미디어기기 활용공간, 스터디룸 등의 열람공간, 영화감상실 및 전시실 등과 같은 문화적 기능수행 공간, 그리고 커뮤니케이션과 휴게공간의 확충 및 제공이 늘어나고 있다. 그러나, 새로운 공간의 확보 및 제공에 치중하는 것과는 달리 오프라인 서비스와 적절히 연계되지 못하고 있으며 사서의 역할에 대한 변화와 위치에 대한 고려가 이루어지지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 새로운 도서관 공간을 구상하고 제공하는데 있어 대학도서관의 학문적 성격을 감안하여 '복합문화공간'이 아닌 '복합학습공간'을 지향할 필요가 있으며, 대학도서관의 목적에 대한 이해와 함께 이용자의 요구, 장서의 활용방안 그리고 사서의 역할 및 배치에 대한 고려가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.
