According to change a generation, in modern society the view which looks at the nature the people and the space is changing. As recognition which the environment is the most important factor in our society, there are researches that environment has to preserve and there are methods that the environment is related with the human, therefore, in the space ecology design views that similar to modern society are being shift. Museum of natural environment is public and popular space that it is designed and composed by a method of ecology space design. Hence, on this study, the museum of natural environment is defined public space by ways of characteristics of ecology design and a design characteristic which the museum of natural environment basically has to arrange are examined. Gallery of natural environment is most related with subsidiarity of mutuality, unity of the totality and stablity and will need other factors such as diversity & balance and suitability. Characteristic of museum of natural environment will be understood method for extension of a sustainable and mutual public space based on the this study, and it will become a process that we will have to advance for not only the present day but also the future.
Kyung Hee university invented the Transformable Reflective Telescope (TRT) for optical experiment and education. The TRT kit can transform into three optical configurations from Newtonian to Cassegrain to Gregorian by exchanging the secondary mirror. We designed the Ebert-Fastie spectrograph as an extension of the TRT kit. The primary mirror of the TRT kit serves as both collimator and camera lens, and the reflective grating as the dispersing element is placed along the optical axis of the primary mirror. We designed and fabricated the grating holder and the source units using 3D printer. Baffle was also fabricated to suppress the stray light, which was reduced by 83%. The spectrograph can observe the optical wavelength range (4000Å~7000Å). Measured resolving power (R=λ/Δλ) was ~700 with slit width of 0.18mm. The spectrograph is optimized for f/24, and the spectral pixel scale is 0.49Å/pixel with Canon 550D detector. We present the sample spectra of discharged Ne, Ar and Kr gases. The flexible setting and high performance make this spectrograph a useful tool for education and experiment.
Application of space technology in the field of communication and remote sensing becomes increasingly important in human life. Advancement of communications means shinks the size of our globe and that of remote sensing techniques improves the quality of human well-being. It is a world trent for each country to make its best effort in advancing its capabilities in these fields sometimes independently and other times jointly with other nations. Korea being no exception to this world trend is planning various starategies in application and development of space technologies. However, unfortunately, Korea is a new commer in this field. Statellite Technology Research Center (SaTReC) of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) initiated to aquire satellite technology by sending its graduates abroad in 1989. As a result KITSAT-1 was launched in 1992 and KITSAT- 2 was launched in 1993 and they became Korea's first two satellites in orbits. Academic program including On-the Job-Training for Korean students at the University of Surrey, UK, is also an innovative scheme of mixing education and practical know-how for successful technology transfer, which resulted in a small but very capable and effective satellite experts group in Korea for self-propelled research and development in space activities. In this context, space development strategy should be considered in terms of the following factors; (1). Participation in international space activities as an active member to utilize international organization and to contribute to the peaceful use of space, (2). Development of national defence structure for independent activities in space, (3). Enhancement of manpower utilization for space development and promotion of national pride and (4). Education of youngsters for the extension of intellectual activities into the limitless space. In order to make very costly space development project most efficient, governmental level space development organization directed by the head of nation should be established and should manage all space development programs making full use of its all available resources including the advantage of the university based R&D capability.
It is shown that a map having an extension to an open map between the Alex-androff base compactifications of its domain and range has a unique such extension. J.S. Wasileski has introduced the Alexandroff base compactifications of Hausdorff spaces endowed with Alexandroff bases. We introduce a definition of morphism between such spaces to obtain a category which we denote by ABC. We prove that the Alexandroff base compactification on objects can be extended to a functor on ABC and that the compact objects give an epireflective subcategory of ABC. For each topological space X there exists a completely regular space $\alpha$X and a surjective continuous function $\alpha$$_{x}$ : Xlongrightarrow$\alpha$X such that for each completely regular space Z and g$\in$C (X, Z) there exists a unique g$\in$C($\alpha$X, 2) with g=g$^{\circ}$$\beta$$_{x}$. Such a pair ($\alpha$$_{x}$, $\alpha$X) is called a completely regularization of X. Let TOP be the category of topological spaces and continuous functions and let CREG be the category of completely regular spaces and continuous functions. The functor $\alpha$ : TOPlongrightarrowCREG is a completely regular reflection functor. For each topological space X there exists a compact Hausdorff space $\beta$X and a dense continuous function $\beta$x : Xlongrightarrow$\beta$X such that for each compact Hausdorff space K and g$\in$C (X, K) there exists a uniqueg$\in$C($\beta$X, K) with g=g$^{\circ}$$\beta$$_{x}$. Such a pair ($\beta$$_{x}$, $\beta$X) is called a Stone-Cech compactification of X. Let COMPT$_2$ be the category of compact Hausdorff spaces and continuous functions. The functor $\beta$ : TOPlongrightarrowCOMPT$_2$ is a compact reflection functor. For each topological space X there exists a realcompact space (equation omitted) and a dense continuous function (equation omitted) such that for each realcompact space Z and g$\in$C(X, 2) there exists a unique g$\in$C (equation omitted) with g=g$^{\circ}$(equation omitted). Such a pair (equation omitted) is called a Hewitt's realcompactification of X. Let RCOM be the category of realcompact spaces and continuous functions. The functor (equation omitted) : TOPlongrightarrowRCOM is a realcompact refection functor. In [2], D. Harris established the existence of a category of spaces and maps on which the Wallman compactification is an epirefiective functor. H. L. Bentley and S. A. Naimpally [1] generalized the result of Harris concerning the functorial properties of the Wallman compactification of a T$_1$-space. J. S. Wasileski [5] constructed a new compactification called Alexandroff base compactification. In order to fix our notations and for the sake of convenience. we begin with recalling reflection and Alexandroff base compactification.
A powerful numerical method that can be used for that purpose is the Discontinuous Deformation Analysis (DDA) method developed by Shi in 1988. In this method, rock masses are treated as systems of finite and deformable blocks. Large rock mass deformations and block movements are allowed. Although various extensions of the DDA method have been proposed in the literature, the method is not capable of modeling water-block interaction that is needed when modeling surface or underground excavation in fractured rock. This paper presents a new extension to the DDA method. The extension consists of hydro-mechanical coupling between rock blocks and water flow in fractures. A example of application of the DDA method with the new extension is presented. The results of the present study indicate that fracture flow could have a destabilizing effect on the tunnel stability.

Visible light communication is a communication method using light, and it has advantage of ensuring security in a single space as compared with RF communication. However, in the area outside the visible line of the light, communication disconnection occurs. Therefore, this paper proposes a relay module to overcome the coverage extension and communication disconnection phenomenon of visible light communication. The proposed relay module transmits and receives data of visible light communication by sequentially transmitting data packets including target ID through adjacent visible light module. Through experimentation of data transmission, we confirmed the extension of the transmission range and the data reception in the area outside the line of sight.
The purpose of this paper was to compare of difference between energy walking and normal walking. Subjects were selected 8 male undergraduates. The kinematic variables of a pelvis and a thorax were analysed at the take off and contact with 3d cinematography. In addition to the variables, the phase plot angle was calculated in order to definite characteristics in the phase space. The pelvic angle and angular velocity showed significant differences in the flexion/extension between two walking patterns. The pelvic angle and angular velocity were increasing when walking speed was increasing and magnitude of the variables of energy walking was larger than corresponding values for normal walking. On the other hand, the thoracic angle demonstrated significant differences in the flexion/extension and rotation between two walking patterns. The angles of energy walking were smaller in the flexion/extension and were larger in the rotation than the angle of normal walking. The kinematic characteristics of energy walking were also showed clearly significant differences in the range of motion and the relative angle of the trunk. The angle of phase plot only showed demonstrated a significant difference in the rotation at contact between the two walking patterns.

Multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is widely applied in wireless communication by virtue of its excellent properties in data transmission rate and transmission accuracy. However, as a major drawback of MIMO-OFDM systems, the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) complicates the design of the power amplifier at the receiver end. Some available PAPR reduction methods such as selective mapping (SLM) suffer from high computational complexity. In this paper, a low-complexity SLM method based on active constellation extension (ACE) and joint space-time selective mapping (AST-SLM) for reducing PAPR in Alamouti STBC MIMO-OFDM systems is proposed. In SLM scheme, two IFFT operations are required for obtaining each transmission sequence pair, and the selected phase vector is transmitted as side information(SI). However, in the proposed AST-SLM method, only a few IFFT operations are required for generating all the transmission sequence pairs. The complexity of AST-SLM is at least 86% less than SLM. In addition, the SI needed in AST-SLM is at least 92.1% less than SLM by using the presented blind detection scheme to estimate SI. We show, analytically and with simulations, that AST-SLM can achieve significant performance of PAPR reduction and close performance of bit error rate (BER) compared to SLM scheme.

It is necessary to control security management consistently and respond to an intrusion automatically in order to use the network securely in the single administrative domain. This paper presents a Shadowing Mechanism supporting a dynamic extension of security scheme and proposes an ARTEMIS(Advanced Realtime Emergency Management and Intruder Identification System), which is designed and implemented based on the suggested technique. It is possible for security management system developed on the basis of the Shadowing Mechanism to make all network components working under the same security scheme. It enhances the accuracy of intrusion tracing and automatic response through dynamic extension of space and time for security management.

In this paper we extend the functional principal component analysis for real-valued random functions to the case of Hilbert-space-valued functional random objects. For this, we introduce an autocovariance operator acting on the space of real-valued functions. We establish an eigendecomposition of the autocovariance operator and a Karuhnen-Loève expansion. We propose the estimators of the eigenfunctions and the functional principal component scores, and investigate the rates of convergence of the estimators to their targets. We detail the implementation of the methodology for the cases of compositional vectors and density functions, and illustrate the method by analyzing time-varying population composition data. We also discuss an extension of the methodology to multivariate cases and develop the corresponding theory.
