50대 중년 남녀의 칼슘 섭취실태, 인식 및 기호도 조사 연구 (A Study on the Preference for Calcium Source Foods, Recognition and Calcium Intake of a Middle-Aged People)

  • This study was peformed by questionnaire to investigate the recognition, preference and intake of calcium and related food behaviors of middle-aged people (males 600, females 550) in Daegu area. The daily intake was determined by 24-hr dietary recall method. The results were summarized as follows: The meal skipping, diet and nutrition consideration ratio of the subjects were 40.6, 11.1, 34.6% respectively. The recognition scores of calcium of the subjects were 14.3 for male and 15.1 for female, respectively. Also the preference scores of calcium source foods of the subjects were 3.6 for male and 3.5 for female. They preferred laver, cabbage, bean curd and lettuce, in that order, but they disliked cheese and ice cream. The variety of calcium source foods was remarkably low. Milk products were the lowest preferred and eaten calcium source foods. A day's calcium intake was 68.4% (478.6 mg) of the RDA for Koreans. There were significant positive correlations among the recognition, preference and intake scores of calcium.

Mobile Robot with Artificial Olfactory Function

  • We have been developed an intelligent mobile robot with an artificial olfactory function to recognize odours and to track odour source location. This mobile robot also has ben installed an engine for speech recognition and synthesis and is controlled by wireless communication. An artificial olfactory system based on array of 7 gas sensors has been installed in the mobile robot for odour recognition, and 11 gas sensors also are located in the obttom of robot to track odour sources. 3 optical sensors are also in cluded in the intelligent mobile robot, which is driven by 2 D. C. motors, for clash avoidance in a way of direction toward an odour source. Throughout the experimental trails, it is confirmed that the intelligent mobile robot is capable of not only the odour recognition using artificial neural network algorithm, but also the tracking odour source using the step-by-step approach method. The preliminary results are promising that intelligent mobile robot, which has been developed, is applicable to service robot system for environmental monitoring, localization of odour source, odour tracking of hazardous areas etc.

광원 변화에 따른 색의 이미지에 관한 주관적 평가 (The Subjective Evaluation of Color Image Depending on the Change of Luminous Source)

  • In this article I visually assessed the relation between luminous source and color, and analyzed subjective recognition of color by light source and image of color, aiming at giving guidelines in selecting source of light suitable for each purpose, thereby contributing to enhanced quality of life. For this purpose, I subjectized, by applying a quantitative method, the objective measurement that employs sensory evaluation method for 14 categories of color, light and feelings in visual perception of textile colors (blue, green and yellow) by color of light source (color temperature of 2800K, 4200K and 6500K), Followings are the conclusions derived form this study. Colors of textile were differently perceived according to the color of light source. When examining common recognition of textiles in blue, green and yellow, 2800K was said to give dirty, soft and blurred image, as for 4200K clear, wide and fine feelings were said, and pure, vivid, refined and bright image were marked for 6500K. As for 2800K, it got the most low appraisals compared with others. In conclusion, image and feeling of the same colors can differ according to light source, which indicates the importance of appropriate selection of light source for purpose of use. As for yellow, the number of assessment result that shows significant difference was the smallest among the three colors. So, it can be concluded that when we consider the recognition of color in mixing different colors, mixing with yellow can result in difficulty in visually perceiving difference of colors. Therefore, it is regarded that more considerable attention is required when dealing with yellow color.

  • 유엔을 비롯한 국제단체와 각국의 정부에서는 공개 소프트웨어 보급을 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 우리나라에서도 공개 소프트웨어를 활성화하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 공개소프트웨어 시범 사업을 시행하고 정보화 사업 평가 항목에 공개 소프트웨어 사용하면 가점을 부여하고 있다. 그러나 잠재적인 공개 소프트웨어 사용자들인 중등학교 학생을 대상으로 공개 소프트웨어에 대한 홍보와 교육이 부족한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 중등학교에서 학생들의 공개 소프트웨어에 대한 인지도를 파악하고 분석한다. 그리고 공개소프트웨어를 중등학교의 개정된 7차 교육과정 의 정보 교과에서 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

수리형태론적 스켈리턴 영상을 이용한 형상인식 (Shape Recognition Using Skeleton Image Based on Mathematical Morphology)

  • 본 논문에서는 패턴인식 시스템의 성능 향상을 목적으로 원영상의 데이타량을 압 축하고 난 뒤 형상을 인식하는 개선된 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서는 수리형태 론적 연산을 사용하여 원영상을 미리 스켈리턴변환하여 데이터 량을 줄이고, 변환된 영상에서 이동 및 크기의 정규화와 회전불변의 과정을 수행하여 패턴을 정합하였다. 크기의 정규화는 형상인식에 필요한 픽셀의 수를 최소로 하여 정합을 하기 위하여 스켈리턴의 픽셀들에 가중치를 부여하고 이를 이용하여 크기를 조정하였다. 따라서 원영상에서 수행하는 이러한 과정들을 스켈리턴 영상에서 수행하게 함으로써 데이터 량이 크게 줄어들게 되어 기억장소의 용량이 최소화되고 연산의 량도 줄어들어 계산의 속도를 고속화 할 수 있게 하였다. 실험을 통하여 인식에 필요한 최적의 크기 인수를 조사하였고, 제안한 방법이 실제의 인식 시스템 구현시 유용하게 사용할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

감정 인식을 위한 음성 특징 도출 (Extraction of Speech Features for Emotion Recognition)

  • Emotion recognition is an important technology in the filed of human-machine interface. To apply speech technology to emotion recognition, this study aims to establish a relationship between emotional groups and their corresponding voice characteristics by investigating various speech features. The speech features related to speech source and vocal tract filter are included. Experimental results show that statistically significant speech parameters for classifying the emotional groups are mainly related to speech sources such as jitter, shimmer, F0 (F0_min, F0_max, F0_mean, F0_std), harmonic parameters (H1, H2, HNR05, HNR15, HNR25, HNR35), and SPI.

  • This paper describes a pre-processing methodology which can apply to remote speech recognition system of service robot in noisy environment. By combining beamforming and blind source separation, we can overcome the weakness of beamforming (reverberation) and blind source separation (distributed noise, permutation ambiguity). As this method is designed to be implemented with hardware, we can achieve real-time execution with FPGA by using systolic array architecture.

  • Biometric recognition is one of the major challenging topics which needs high performance of recognition accuracy. Most of existing methods rely on a single source of biometric to achieve recognition. The recognition accuracy in biometrics is affected by the variability of effects, including illumination and appearance variations. In this paper, we propose a new multimodal biometrics recognition using convolutional neural network. We focus on multimodal biometrics from face and periocular regions. Through experiments, we have demonstrated that facial multimodal biometrics features deep learning framework is helpful for achieving high recognition performance.

음원 위치 추정 시스템의 정확도 향상 방법 (The Method of Elevation Accuracy In Sound Source Localization System)

  • 음원 추정 시스템은 로봇, 화상회의, CCTV(Closed-circuit television) 시스템에 쓰인다. 이러한 음원 추정 시스템은 사람을 대상으로 하며 사람이 말하는 동안 여러 개의 음성 데이터 프레임을 입력받을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 입력된 음성 데이터 프레임으로부터 정확한 각도를 계산 할 수 있는 음성 데이터 프레임을 선별하여 각도 추정 오차를 줄이는 방법에 대해서 제안한다. 또한 선별된 데이터를 각도로 변환한 후 메디언 필터를 적용하여 음원 추정 시스템의 오차를 줄일 수 있다. 제안된 시스템을 이용하여 실험한 후 각도 추정 오차 평균이 31%감소함을 보인다.
