주름강판의 차음성능 향상 방안 (Improvement Strategy of the Sound Insulation Performance of a Corrugated Steel Panel)

  • In a railway vehicle, corrugated steel panel is widely used for the floor panel because of its high bending stiffness and light weight. However, this panel shows lower sound insulation performance than that of the plate with the same weight. Especially, in a particular frequency band, transmission loss (TL) rapidly decreases and it results in the deterioration of TL of the overall floor panel. This study identifies that the remarkable drop in TL is caused from the local resonance of the periodic corrugated structure. This study shows that the frequency band of the TL drop can be controlled by the proper design of the corrugated structure. In addition, improvement effect of TL by attaching foam and glass wool is estimated by experiment. The purpose of the study is to provide the practical information for the improvement of the sound insulation performance of the corrugated steel.

공동주택 중량바닥충격음 현장측정을 통한 차단성능 평가방법의 비교검토 연구 (A Study of Rating Method Comparison for Heavy-weight Floor Impact Sound based on the Field Test Data in Apartment Houses)

  • Heavy-weight floor impact sound insulation performance criteria have been effective in Korea since the regulation which enforces the standard thickness of slabs in domestic apartment houses should be constructed by 180mm or 210mm was adopted. But every slab does not satisfy this criteria. So, review on existing floor impact sound insulation performance is needed to propose some basic materials for the revision of rating method. To achieve this goal, 63 field test data were checked and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows ; 1) The 210mm thickness slab has the characteristics of deeper level decrease above 120Hz frequency band than that of 180mm thickness slab's. 2) 27.5% of 180mm thickness slabs were satisfied the floor impact sound insulation performance criteria, whereas 65% of 210mm slabs do. 3) Among the main contribution frequency bands for the determination of single rating index, 63Hz was shown as the most contributive band in 210mm slabs. 4) In comparison of single rating index between bang machine test and ball test. there is a big difference between the two and this phenomenon is frequent in 210mm slab results. 5) Rating Methods for the analysis of cross-correlation between the amount of rating, the usefulness of the arithmetic mean could be secured.

  • In evaluating sound performance of building, it is important to carry on tests and evaluations based upon residential sound performances. Korean Standards include test methods on sound performance, but don't include any code on evaluation methods. Therefore, evaluation methods from Japan or ISO have been used for evaluating sound performance in domestic so far. In this study, a draft of Korean Standards on a sound performance evaluation method in buildings is proposed.

실증 적용을 통한 외부 전동블라인드의 성능 평가 및 개선 방안 (Evaluation and improvement of external electric blinds through field application)

  • 일반적인 거주 공간에서 창호는 외부소음에 직접적으로 노출된다. 외부소음을 가장 효과적으로 저감할 수 있는 방법은 내부가 아닌 외부에서 바로 소음을 차단하는 방법이다. 태양 빛 차단을 위한 외부 블라인드는 다양하게 제품화되어 있지만, 우리나라에서는 아직 적극적으로 활용되지 못하고 있다. 앞선 연구에서는 차광용으로 제작된 외부 전동블라인드의 차음성능을 검증하기 위해 공인 실험실에서 실험하였다. 그 결과 일반창호 저감 성능 대비 6 dBA의 추가 차음성능을 검증하였다. 이 연구에서는 외부 전동블라인드의 차음성능을 실제 거주 공간 창호에 실증 적용하여 저감성능을 확인하고자 하였으며, 효과적인 소음저감 성능 추가확보를 위해 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 실험결과, 외부 전동블라인드 자체의 저감 성능은 기본 창호 대비 1 dBA ~ 3 dBA 수준으로 미미했다. 하지만 블라인드 슬릿 사이의 틈새 충진을 통해 2 dBA 수준의 추가 저감성능을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 공동주택의 건축 형식이 벽식 구조에서 기둥식 구조로 변화하면서 기둥식 구조에서 사용되는 건식 경량벽체에 대한 내화성능과 차음성능 기준을 제시하고자 하였으며, 공동주택 세대간 벽체의 경우는 국내 건축법에서 이미 의무화되어 있는 기준이 있어, 국내에 기준이 없는 세대내 벽체를 대상으로 내화성능은 30분의 내화성능을 1등급으로 하여 3개 성능등급으로 구분하였으며, 차음성능은 Rw+C값이 최소 35dB를 최소등급으로 3개 성능 등급을 기준을 제시하였다.

  • In order to measure sound transmission loss (STL) of a shipboard window of small size, a special partition is built into the test opening between two reverberation rooms and the specimen is placed in that partition. For high sound insulation, the filler wall often has multi-layered structure such as double-brick wall or buckhead structure with thick steel plate, absorptive material, and sandwich panels. This paper discusses the installation method of a multi-layered filler wall that consist of gypsum boards, lead plates, and glass wool. The experimental results of various wall structures are introduced. The comparison between the results show that the sound bridge effect plays a significant role in lowering the maximum STL of the filler wall. It is also found that the higher the sound insulation performance of the filler wall is, the more important the franking transmission through other side wall of the test facility is.

건설공사장 가설방음벽의 음향 특성 (Acoustic Properties of Temporary Noise Barriers on Construction Site)

  • The noise by the construction activities is one of the main issues in Korea. To prevent the noise from construction site, construction company installs temporary noise barriers along the construction site boundary. Normally sound insulation performance ($R_w$) of the temporary noise barriers made by metal or plastic is between 18 and 31 dB and metallic noise barriers are around 5 dB higher than plastic noise barriers. Sound absorption performance (NRC) of the temporary noise barriers are between 0.20 and 0.59 so it's difficult to characterize their acoustic performance. In this study, it has founded that sound insulation performance of the temporary noise barrier has been improved about 3dB by stick the high density acoustic sheet and insertion loss of noise barrier is getting increased as the source and receiver approached the temporary noise barriers.

  • This paper discusses an experimental method for measuring the insertion loss (IL) performance of multi-layered insulations that are used in vehicles. Instead of two adjacent reverberation chambers which are generally used to measure the transmission loss (TL) of the large sound isolation materials, air-borne sound insulation tester was utilized to determine the IL and articulation index (AI) of standardized insulation materials. In comparison to reverberation chamber method, air-borne sound insulation tester method is more space-saving, more time-saving and more simple to the automotive acoustics. From the empirical results, it is found that the performances of insulation materials are closely connected with density of polyurethane foam, thickness of heavy layer, thickness of polyurethane foam, and application ratio to panel area.

크루즈선박용 허니컴 패널의 차음 성능 해석 (Analysis of Sound Insulation Performance of Honeycomb Composite Panels for Cruise Ships)

  • 본 연구에서는 허니컴 패널의 지배방정식을 이용하여 경계행렬식을 유도하였고, 이를 전달행렬법에 적용하여 허니컴 패널을 적용한 차음패널에 대한 해석 이론을 정립하였다. 또한, 허니컴 패널을 선박용 차음패널의 표면재로 적용하여 차음성능을 분석하였고, 철판을 표면재로 적용한 기존의 선박용 차음패널과 차음성능을 무게 당 감음량 기준으로 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 허니컴 패널의 차음성능이 0.35 mm 철판에 비해 STC 기준으로 2dB 높게 나와 허니컴 패널을 적용한 차음패널의 차음성능이 철판을 사용한 차음패널에 비해 무게 당 감음량을 고려할 시 우수하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 허니컴 패널을 표면재로 사용한 차음패널의 면밀도가 철판을 사용한 차음패널에 비해 약 $5.2kg/m^2$ 가볍게 나타났고, 이는 약 31.7 % 무게 감소를 의미한다.

소형 창문의 차음 성능 평가에 관한 실험적 고찰 (An experimental study for the evaluation of airborne sound insulation performance of the small window)

  • Side scuttle in the shipboard windows is used in a smaller size in order to prevent damage to the glass. This shipboard windows should have high sound insulation performance (More than $R_w$ 53 dB) according to norsok standards. However, side scuttle having a small size and high sound insulation material is difficult to measure exact result without a suitable filler wall. In this study, the test was conducted according to the number of changes in the small window. As a result, before starting the test should be conducted to the selection of the suitable filler wall or secure a specimen area.
