공간평가를 위한 피스톨음원의 적정성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Enemy Aptitude of Pistol Sound Source for Space Estimation)

  • Last target of architectural acoustics is that people wish to convey voice effectively from the space adaptively in use purpose in building. But, how exactly through space sound (sound source) that wish to deliver from indoor can be passed method to do quantification and evaluate quantity of sound by method to serve indoor architectural acoustics estimation summer period and methods to estimate definition propose. This Study searches special quality of sound source about MLS signal that is occurred short-answer sound source (pistol sound source) and nondirectional speaker among indoor sound estimation method, and measure and analyzed reverberation time (RT60), definition (C80, D50) by regulation of each ISO 3382 in age place (classroom, hall, gymnasium). Analysis result and sound factor among could know that d of two sound sources converges in measurement error extent about reverberation time (RT60) of analysis incidental and sound factors and value shows change irregularly about sound factor of D50, C80, pistol sound source judged there is problem. Also, could know that problem is happened in deflection except reverberation time is in deflection analysis with wave that measure each in fixed distance in branch. Finally, when differ size of sound source and measure about change of sound pressure level in case measure sound pressure level giving difference about 10 dB, sound factor could know that there is no different effect.

Advanced electromagnetic wave-based method for characterizing defects in cement-based structures using time domain reflectometry

  • This study presents novel electromagnetic wave-based methods for evaluating the integrity of cement-based structures using time domain reflectometry (TDR). Two cement-based plates with embedded rebars are prepared under sound and defective conditions. TDR tests are carried out using transmission lines with various numbers of artificial joints, and electromagnetic waves are measured to assess the integrity of the plates. The experimental results show that the travel time of electromagnetic waves is consistently longer in sound plates than in defective ones, and an increase in the reflection coefficients is observed in the defect zone of the defective plates. Electromagnetic wave velocities are higher in the defective plates, especially when connectors are present in the transmission line. A novel approach based on the area of the reflection coefficient provides larger areas in the defective plates, and the attenuation effect of the electromagnetic waves induces a difference in the areas of the reflection coefficient between the two defect conditions. An alternative method using the centroid of the defect zone slightly overestimates the location of the defect zone. The length of the defect zone is estimated using the defect ratio and wave velocities of cement, air, and plate. The length of the defect zone can also be calculated using the travel times within the plate, total measured length of the plate, and wave velocities in the cement and air. Therefore, the electromagnetic wave-based methods proposed in this study may be useful for estimating the location and length of defect zones by considering attenuation effects.

전자파 영향 평가를 통한 최적의 전파 기지국 위치 결정 방법 (Optimal Wave Source Position Determination Based on Wave Propagation Simulation)

  • In this paper, we proposed a method to determine optimal wave source for mobile telephone communication. The approach is based on wave propagation simulation. Given a wave source we can determine wave propagation effects on every surfaces of wave simulation environment. The effect is evaluated as a cost function while the source’s position x, y, z work as variables for a parameter optimization. Wave propagated 3 dimensional space generates reflected waves whenever it hits boundary surface, it receives multiple waves which are reflected from various boundary surfacers in space. Three algorithms being implemented in this paper are based on a raytracing theory. If we get 3 dimensional geometry input as well as wave sources, we can compute wave propagation effects all over the boundary surfaces. In this paper, we present a new approach to compute wave propagation. First approach is tracing wave from a source. Source is modeled as a sphere casting vectors into various directions. This approach has limit in computing necessary wave propagation effects on all terrain surfaces. The second approach proposed is tracing wave backwards : tracing from a wave receiver to a wave source. For this approach we need to allocate a wave receiver on every terrain surfaces modeled, which requires enormous amount of computing time. But the second approach is useful for indoor wave propagation simulation. The last approach proposed in this paper is tracing sound by geometric computation. We allow direct, 1-relfe tion, and 2-reflection propagation. This approach allow us to save in computation time while achieving reasonable results. but due to the reflection limitaion, this approach works best in outdoor environment.

  • A theoretical model has been studied to describe the sound radiation analysis for structure vibration noise of vehicle tires under the action of random moving line forces. When a tire is analyzed, it had been modeled as curved beams with distributed springs and dash pots that represent the radial , tangential stiffness and damping of tire, respectively. The reaction due to fluid loading on the vibratory response of the curved beam is taken into account. The curved beam is assumed to occupy the plane y=0 and to be axially infinite. The curved beam material and elastic foundation are assumed to be lossless Bernoulli-Euler beam theory including a tension force, damping coefficient and stiffness of foundation will be employed. The expression for sound power is integrated numerically and the results examined as a function of Mach number, wave-number ratio and stiffness factor. The experimental investigation for structure vibration noise of vehicle tire under the action of random moving line forces has been made. Based on the Spatial Transformation of Sound Field techniques, the sound power and sound radiation are measured. Results strongly suggest that operation condition in the tire material properties and design factors of the tire govern the sound power and sound radiation characteristics.

사운드카드를 이용한 음향학 탐구학습 사례 (Inquiring Activities on the Acoustic Phenomena Using Sound Card in Personal Computer)

  • PC의 내장 사운드 카드를 이용하여 음향학 탐구학습을 수행하였다. 사운드 카드는 함수발생기와 오실로스코프에 비해 가격이 저렴하고 학생들의 접근이 용이하다는 장점이 있다. 학생들은 다양한 음향 현상에서 발생하는 소리를 사운드 카드를 이용하여 녹음하고 주파수 스펙트럼을 분석하였다. 소리굽쇠의 맥놀이, Rijke 관에서의 음의 발생, 물을 따를 때에 나는 소리 변화, 소리로 포도주잔 깨기 및 포도주 병마개를 딸 때에 발생하는 소리 등의 현상을 정량적으로 분석하면서 소리의 중첩, 공진 및 정상파에 대한 탐구를 수행하였다.

시각정보 제공에 따른 사운드스케이프 음원평가어휘별 뇌파변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Electroencephalogram for the Evaluating Words of Soundscape Sound Source When Visual Information is Suggested)

  • In this study, survey experiment and EEG test was carried out to know the effect of visual images on EEG for evaluating words of soundscape sound source with 18 subjects. Analysis on the EEG were executed to know the difference according to with and without visual images. Followings are results of this study. 1) There is no big difference with visual images in soundscape sound evaluating adjectives such as "Full", "Clear", "Enjoyable" whereas there is a big difference in soundscape sound evaluating adjectives such as "Pleasant", "Comfortable", "Gentle", "Sonorous". 2) There is a tendency that soundscape sound source which is consist of single sound source shows + 1 above increase in survey test when visual image is suggested whereas soundscape sound source which is consist of one more sound source shows - 1 below decrease in survey test. 3) Statistical analysis was used to know considerable probability. ${\alpha}$-wave has a considerable probability and Maximum level difference occurring brain spots were number 1 and 2.

히스 노이즈제거를 통한 아날로그의 디지털 복원에 대한 연구 - X-NOISE를 활용한 히스 노이즈리덕션을 중심으로 - (A Research on the Digital Restoration of the Analog by Removing Hiss Noise (Using X-NOISE Based on Hiss-Noise Reduction))

  • Analog cassette tapes are easily changed due to environmental factors. To digitize is the best way to preserve a sound source. The way to digitize is to deal with the original sound to be enhanced to a variety of sources by playing through the audio card after recording. In this process to occur, it's the most important to remove various noise and equalizing sound in a method for preserving. It's studied about how to remove noise by using one of softwares, Cubase 5. 5, to remove hiss noise, which happens changing analog tape into digitalization. A amount of hiss noise is reduced to use X-Noise software of Wave which uses in Cubase 5.0, one of PLUG-IN. The noise is removed changing value of threshold and reduction every 10 times in no change of origin sound. To keep regular condition, the experiment to remove the hiss noise is conducted based on sound meondle, which is one of sound Nonmaegi. The noise is removed easily when the value of threshold is getting high in spite of giving a little value of reduction. However, as it gives a amount of reduction high, the damage rate of the sound source gets high.

  • We numerically investigated propagation of various waves in the two-phase flows such as sound wave, shock wave, rarefaction wave, and contact discontinuity in terms of pressure, void fraction, velocity and density of the two phases. The waves have been generated by a hydrodynamic shock tube, a pair of symmetric impulsive expansion, impulsive pressure and impulsive void waves. The six compressible two-fluid two-phase conservation laws with interfacial friction terms have been solved in two fractional steps. The first PDE Operator is solved by the HLL scheme and the second Source Operator by the semi-implicit stiff ODE solver. In the HLL scheme, the fastest wave speeds were estimated by the analytic eigenvalues of an approximate Jacobian matrix. We have discussed how the interfacial friction terms affect the wave structures in the numerical solution.

전달선로행렬법을 이용한 흡음재 모델링에 대한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis for Modeling of Sound Absorbing Medium using Transmission Line Matrix Modeling)

  • 본 연구에서는 해저의 반사면이나 흡음재와 같이 주파수에 따라 다른 특성을 가지는 매체를 시간영역에서 수치적으로 모델링하고자 시간 해석 기법의 하나인 전달선로행렬법을 이용하였다. 기존의 흡음재의 해석에 응용되던 감쇠를 이용하는 방법의 대안으로 유한임펄스응답 필터를 전달선로행렬법에 도입하였다. 7개의 탭을 가진 FIR 필터로 구현하였으며, 시간 지연, 저역통과필터, 고역통과필터의 시뮬레이션 결과를 이론치와 비교하였다. 여러 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 흡음재의 주파수에 따른 흡음 특성을 유한임펄스응답 필터를 고려한 하나의 요소만으로 모델링하는 것이 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Physiological Signal Analyses of Frictional Sound by Structural Parameters of Warp Knitted Fabrics

  • The purpose of this study is to offer acoustical database of warp knitted fabrics by investigating frictional sound properties and physiological responses according to structural parameters such as construction, lap form, and direction of mutual guide bar movement. Fabric sounds of seven warp knitted fabrics are recorded, and Zwicker's psychoacoustic param­eters - loudness(Z), sharpness(Z), roughness(Z), and fluctuation strength(Z) - are calculated. Also, physiological responses evoked by frictional sounds of warp knitted fabrics are measured such as electroencephalogram (EEG), the ratio of high fre­quency to low frequency (HF/LF), respiration rate (RESP), skin conductance level (SCL), and photoplethysmograph (PPG). In case of constructions, frictional sound of sharkskin having higher loudness(Z) and fluctuation strength(Z) increases RESP. By lap form, open lap has louder and larger fluctuating sound than closed lap, but there aren't significant difference of physi­ological responses between open lap and closed lap. In direction of mutual guide bar movement, parallel direction evokes bigger changes of beta wave than counter direction because of its loud, rough, and fluctuating sound. Fluctuation strength(Z) and roughness(Z) are defined as important factors for predicting physiological responses in construction and mutual guide bar movement, respectively.
