신소재를 사용한 인체조직모사물질의 합성과 초음파 물리적 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on Ultrasound Physical Characteristic and Synthesis of Tissue Mimicking Materials Used New Materials)

  • 본 연구는 주제인 폴리우레탄(polyurethane, PU)과 새로운 형태의 n-type 산란재를 사용하여 합성한 조직모사물질(tissue mimicking materials : TMM)에 대해 국제표준규격 IEC 60601-2-37(2007)의 Annex D.D가 권고한 인체 연조직(soft tissue)의 음향학적 특성 기준에 준해, 전파속도, 임피던스, 감쇠계수 특성 등을 분석하였으며, 영상특성은 SONOACE 9900C PRIME(MEDESON Co.), 3.5 MHz 컨벡스 프로브(2.5-5.0 MHz)로 초음파 휘도와 최대투과심도를 분석 평가하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 주제인 prepolymer와 polyol mixture를 혼합하고 n-type 산란재를 0~8%로 점차 증가하여 합성하였을 때, 1. 조직모사물질의 전파속도는 산란재가 증가할수록 연조직에 더 가깝게 수렴(convergence)하였다. 2. 음향임피던스는 산란재가 감소할수록 연조직에 더 가깝게 수렴하였다. 3. 감쇠계수는 산란재가 증가할수록 증가하였다. 4. 영상 평균휘도는 산란재가 증가할수록 증가하였으나 역치가 있었다. 5. 최대투과심도는 산란재 6% 조직모사물질에서 연조직에 가깝게 수렴하였다.

수중음향센서 수온 변화에 따른 음향 수신 특성 변화 연구 (A study on temperature dependent acoustic receiving characteristics of underwater acoustic sensors)

  • 본 논문은 수중음향센서의 수온 변화에 따른 음향 수신 특성 변화를 이론적, 실험적 방법으로 확인하였다. 반사판 및 배플 구성에 따라 중 저주파용 및 고주파용의 두 가지 음향센서를 설계하여 $-2^{\circ}C{\sim}35^{\circ}C$의 온도범위에서 온도 변화에 따른 음향 수신 특성을 각각 분석하였다. 음향센서 주요 구성 소재의 온도별 물성치 변화에 대한 영향성을 분석하기 위하여 압전세라믹, 몰딩 및 배플 시편의 온도별 물성치 변화를 측정하였고, 측정된 물성치를 활용하여 온도별 수신감도(Receiving Voltage Sensitivity, RVS) 변화를 유한요소해석 기법을 통하여 해석하였다. 제작된 두 가지 음향센서의 온도별 수신감도 특성을 측정하기 위하여, 내부 수온 및 수압 조정이 가능한 압력 챔버에 음향센서를 설치하고 챔버 내부 수온을 변화시켜가며 수신감도를 측정하였다. 측정 및 분석결과 수중센서의 온도별 수신감도 특성은 몰딩 재료의 음속변화에 주도적으로 영향을 받는 것을 확인하였다.

운동성 조음장애에서 폐쇄자음 발성의 음향학적 특성 (Acoustic Characteristics of Stop Consonant Production in the Motor Speech Disorders)

  • Background and Objectives : Dysarthria refers to speech disorder that causes difficulties in speech communication due to paralysis, muscle weakening, and incoordination of speech muscle mechanism caused by damaged central or peripheral nerve system. Pitch, strength and speed are influenced by dysarthria during detonation due to difficulties in muscle control. As evaluation items, alternate motion rate and diadochokinesis have been commonly used, and articulation is also an important evaluation items. The purpose of this study is to find acoustic characteristics on sound production of dysarthria patients. Materials and Methods : Research subjects have been selected as 20 dysarthria patients and 20 subjects for control group, and voice sample was composed of bilabial, alveolar sound, and velar sound in diadochokinetic rate, while consonant articulation test was composed of bilabial plosive, alveolar plosive, velar plosive. Analysis items were composed of 1) speaking rate, energy, articulation time of diadochokinesis, 2) voice onset time (VOT), total duration (TD), vowel duration (VD), hold of plosives. Results and Conclusions : The number of diadochokinetic rate of dysarthria was smaller than control group. Both control group and dysarthria group was highly presented in the order of /t/>/p/>/k/. Minimum energy range per cycle during diadochokinetic rate of dysarthria group was smaller than control group, and presented statistical significance in /p/, /k/, /ptk/. Maximum energy range was larger than control group, and presented statistical significance in /t/, /ptk/. Articulation time, gap, total articulation time during diadochokinetic rate of dysarthria group was longer than control group and presented statistical significance. The articulation time was presented in both control group and dysarthria group in the order of /k/>/t/>/p/, while Gap was presented in the order of /p/>/t/>/k/ for control group and /p/>/k/>/t/ for dysarthria group. VOT, TD, VD regarding plosives of dysarthria group were longer than control group. Hold showed large deviation compared to control group that had appeared due to declined larynx and articulation organ motility.

The effects of intensive gait training with body weight support treadmill training on gait and balance in stroke disability patients: a randomized controlled trial

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of intensive gait training with body weight support treadmill training on gait and balance in stroke disability patients. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: Twenty-six stroke patients (20 men and 6 women) participated in this study. All subjects were hospitalized patients. They were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group (body weight supported treadmill training group, n=14) and control group (treadmill group, n=12). The mean ages were 52.07 years (experimental group) and 53.83 years (control group). Subjects in both groups received conventional training 10 times/wk. Subjects in the experimental group practiced body weight supported treadmill training for 30 minutes a day, 3 day/wk. Subjects in the control group practiced treadmill training for 30 minutes. The Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and GAITRite were used to evaluate balance and gait parameters (step length, cadence and gait speed) before and after the intervention. Results: BBS scores in the experimental group showed significantly greater improvement ($4.33{\pm}1.54$), compared with the control group (p<0.05). Significantly greater improvement in the gait speed ($24.13{\pm}4.53$ cm/s), affected side step length ($10.40{\pm}3.42$ cm), sound side step length ($11.97{\pm}3.29$ cm), and cadence ($23.88{\pm}5.52$ step/min), compared with the control group (p<0.05). Conclusions: Intensive gait training with Body Weight Support Treadmill Training may improve gait and balance in subacute stroke.

동해 한국대륙주변부 정동진 연안 지층의 지음향 모델 (Geoacoustic Model of Coastal Bottom Strata at Jeongdongjin in the Korean Continental Margin of the East Sea)

  • 지음향 모델링은 퇴적층과 기반암의 해저 지층을 통해 전파되는 음파 특성을 예측하기 위해 사용된다. 이 연구는 동해 한국대륙주변부의 정동진 해역에서 50 m 퇴적층 심도의 4개 지음향 모델을 구성하였다. 지층 모델은 고해상 에어건 탄성파 자료, SBP 자료, 퇴적물 코어에 근거한다. P파 속도는 신호투과법에 의해 측정되었고, 압전기 트랜스듀서의 공진 중심 주파수는 1 MHz를 유지하였다. 42개 P파 속도와 41개 음감쇠 측정이 세 개 코어 퇴적물에서 수행되었다. 실제 모델링을 위해, 모델의 P파 속도는 Hamilton 방법을 이용하여 해저면 아래 현장 심도 속도로 보정하였다. 연안 지층의 이 지음향 모델은 동해 정동진 해역에서 지음향 특성의 수직/수평 변화를 반영하는 지음향/수중음향 실험을 위해 활용될 것이다.

엔진 직결식 트랙터 PTO 전동 라인의 치타음 분석 (Analysis of Rattle Noise of a Direct Engine-driven PTO Driveline of Tractors)

  • This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of PTO rattle noise of a direct engine-PTO driveline for agricultural tractors. In order to reduce production costs of agricultural tractors, a direct engine-PTO driveline was recently introduced to the tractors produced in Korea. This simplified drive line reduced a number of gears and counter shafts in previous one. However, it caused a severe rattle noise under an idle condition, which was perceived as intolerable by many tractor operators. PTO rattle noise was measured at two locations: one 3 em apart radially from the centerline of the PTO shaft and another 100 em apart backward from the PTO end and 160 em high from the ground. Characteristics of the rattle was analyzed using the data measured near the PTO shaft. It was found that the period of rattle noise was same as the explosion stroke of engine and its peak level was about 123 dB (A) with PTO engaged at an idle engine speed of 880 rpm. As the engine speed increased, the rattle noise decreased. The frequency band of the rattle was 0.5-2.0 kHz and the frequency of peak sound pressure was 1.4 kHz. When compared the rattle noise between the locally produced and imported tractors of the same type of PTO driveline, the former generated louder rattle noise than the imported one by 7 dB (A). It was suggested that the rattle noise of local tractors must be reduced at least by 7 dB (A) to meet the international level.

고속 원심홴의 공력성능 향상을 위한 에어포일 임펠러 적용 (Application of Airfoil Impeller for Enhancement of Aerodynamic Performance of High Speed Centrifugal Fan)

  • 본 연구에서는 고속 회전을 하는 진공청소기용 원심홴의 공력성능 향상을 위해 에어포일 임펠러(Airfoil Impeller)의 적용을 검토 및 연구하였다. 에어포일 최대두께 및 최대두께 위치에 따라 3종의 에어포일 임펠러를 제시하였고, 이때 C4 에어포일 두께분포를 이용하였다. 에어포일 임펠러의 성능 평가는 전산유체역학(Computational Fluid Dynamics) 해석과 흡입일률시험을 통해 수행되었다. 이를 통해 에어포일 형상 적용 시 기존 블레이드 형상에 비하여 임펠러 블레이드 압력면과 디퓨져 블레이드 압력면에서 발생하는 유동박리가 크게 줄어드는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 이로 인해 기존 원심홴에 비하여 홴 효율이 약 3% 증가 및 비소음이 약 1.3dB(A) 감소되는 것을 확인하였다.

4휠 시스템을 이용한 슬래그 섬유의 제조 (Fabrication Characteristics of Slag Fiber by 4 Wheel System)

  • Steel making slag has gained a considerable attraction as one candidate of eco-materials in research fields for recycling resources. Thus, many researches have been performed but were limited to development of substitute for cement being used in the construction field. A little research work also has been done on development of higher value-added materials, including heat resistant and sound absorbing materials. For this reason, the present study were focused on macrostructure characterization of fabricated slag fibers which are applicable to heat resistant materials. The slag fibers were fabricated through a modified melt extraction method. The processing variables employed were the wheel speed and molten slag temperature. The synthesized fibers were characterized by optical microscope and scanning electron microscopy. It was found that the wheel speed of 1400 rpm generated better quality of mineral fibers in terms of the relative amount of shot, diameter and length. This was attributed to the relative extent of contact width between the flowing melt and the rotating wheel. The thickness of the slag fibers also were decreased with increasing the slag melt temperature due mainly to significant decrease in the viscosity of the slag melt. In addition, the lower melt temperature caused an increase in number of shots plus the mineral fibers.

축소 모델 실험장치를 이용한 철도 스킬소음의 특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study of Squeal Noise Characteristics for Railway Using a Scale Model Test Rig)

  • Squeal noise is a harsh, high-pitched sound that occurs when railways are running at sharp curve tracks. The cause of squeal noise is known to be the transient lateral traction force between wheel and rail. Field measurements are too difficult to control the parameters. Thus, the scaled test rig should have been made in order to investigate the generating mechanism of squeal noise. The unique feature of our test rig, HSTR(Hongik Squeal Testing Rig), is that DOFs of its wheelset are as close to as those of the real railway. The attack angle and running speed of the rail roller are controlled in real time for simulating a transient characteristic of driving curve. The environment conditions, such as given axle load, running speed, and wheel's yaw angle have been identified for generating squeal noise and the squeal noise itself has been measured. The relation between wheel creepage and creep force in lateral direction and the criteria for squeal noise have been investigated, which results has been verified by finite element method.

다공성 입자 매질에서 고주파 영역 음향 측정 자료와 Kramers-Krönig 관계식의 비교 (Comparison of Kramers-Krönig Relation and High-Frequency Acoustic Measurements in Water-Saturated Glass Beads)

  • 물리현상의 인과성에 대한 필요충분조건은 Kramers-Kr$\ddot{o}$nig (K-K) 관계식으로 표현된다. 음파에 대한 Kramers-Kr$\ddot{o}$nig 관계식은 음파의 위상속도 분산식과 감쇠계수 분산식 사이의 힐버트 변환 쌍으로 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 400 kHz-1.1 MHz의 고주파 영역에서 물이 찬 다공성 유리구슬 매질에서 측정된 p파 음속 및 감쇠계수를 Waters 등에 의해 얻어진 미분 형태의 Kramers-Kr$\ddot{o}$nig 관계식과 정량적으로 비교했다. 감쇠계수는 주파수의 거듭제곱형태를 따르며, 이때 실험값은 Kramers-Kr$\ddot{o}$nig 관계식과 비교적 정확히 일치한다.
