The Research On the improvements of Speaker's Frequency Characteristic using DSP Audio Processor (DSP 오디오 프로세서를 이용한 스피커 주파수 특성 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose the design of VADSM(Value-Added Digital Speaker Module) which tunes up the speaker unit by measuring the speaker's frequency responses and controlling EQ band. This module can reduce audible distortions at particular frequency band and improve some flatness in the speaker's frequency response. VADSM is composed of DSP AMP and speaker unit. When a speaker transforms electrical signal to sound, the magnitude response at some frequencies are more or less than normal level. So, DSP AMP can be used to adjust those magnitudes up or down by controlling its EQ bands.

  • This paper will study the influence of comedic elements of the game on the gaming choice by the game users, and focus its goal on establishing the foundation for the various game production environments. Within the game, the comedic elements are categorized as one of actively expressive elements and enhance the game's entertainment together with its sound qualities of graphics, scenario, sounds and level designs. Although the comedic elements are generally acknowledged as necessities, the research on how the users actually perceive those elements has been insufficient. Therefore this paper will investigate characteristics, compositions and techniques of the comedy used in the game and will analyze the influence that those comedic elements have on the users' recognition, satisfaction and royalty to the game.

Film Editing as Emotion Communication (영화편집론, 감정 커뮤니케이션)

  • This article discussed emotion and communication at the film editing theory. By editing as a form of communication, audiences response to the new facts of the story or the new shot as its details and then it uses their ability to induce. Lev Kuleshov, by the famous Mozhukin experiment, intended to show that montage draw spectator's inferences on emotion and association beyond content of the individual shots. The continuous editing technologies such as 180-degree rule, matching eye-view and behavior, 30-degree rule, and continuity of sound, light and color, enhance emotion. Point-of-view editing is the main device to maximize the film's emotion. Point-of-view editing serving the purpose of the film narration is a powerful means to practice and to persuade emotion communication.

  • This study apprehends the effect of primary causes that form civic consciousness, which mature local residents should have. Moreover, it tries to contribute to the development of mature civic consciousness with regard to the situations and conditions of local community, by observing how the extent of local problem recognition, personal viewpoints, and participation in social activities affect formation of civic consciousness. The research was conducted to 600 local residents, ages 20 and above, with proportional stratified sampling method. The study showed that high recognition of environmental, social, economic and aging issues, fulfillment on social achievement, self-perception, culture orientation, and higher frequency on participating on social activities have positive effects on formation of sound civic consciousness.

  • The style of a film is the element that makes audience realize director's purpose directly. As the film's spectacular background have became important it's hard to find non-wide screen film, and audience and theaters are very familiar to 1.85:1 film ratio and even wider. Nevertheless, did not follow this trend but to chose narrow film ratio and shallow focus. This film, of which the background is Nazi's concentration camp, does not allow audience to catch more information than main character Saul. It's because the director aims to make audience Saul's position in the film. This paper discuss how the style of reflects the director's intention.

  • This study analyzes how to support social economic organizations financially -with online donation system. Two methods of online donation system is compared that vouchers contribute to the creation of sound market in damaged area by giving options of selecting service of social economic organization to service beneficiaries while civil fund for these organizations create employment and improve cooperative relationship between givers and receivers through online donation system. It is important for Korean government to improve donation system not only for victim directly but also for social economic organization through voucher and civil fund method of online donation system.

  • Recently, digital signage is various changes and converging media. It is common to exhibit and guide focusing on information transfer by using the display. Such a method can not express variously changing digital signage. Therefore, we have to find a way to solve the problem of place and structure. In this paper, we experimented the new direction technique. Finally, we are going to propose acoustic direction technique using a microphone to maximize digital signage and intention of delivery by adding an sound reinforcement method to the visual representation.

  • E-Business has, nowadays, become a common commerce transaction. In the beginning, e-Biz has known as Electronic Commerce and has expanded its territory to department store's shopping mall, travel, finance, stock, and even luxury goods as car sales market. Considering these trends, this paper researched the environment of korean e-Biz market and suggested the picture of the matured and sound e-Biz market in Korea. We surveyed matured level of Critical Success Factors of e-Biz in terms of management. We also surveyed time based Critical Success Factors to analyze level of the Korean e-Biz market. These study's may provide us the knowledge about the prediction and preparation for changes in e-Biz market in the future.

  • This thesis proposes the emotions acquired after listening to the music as an emotion model composed of 8 types of emotions, based on the emotion model studied previously. The 5 musical factors selected, that affect the emotion, are tempo, dynamics, amplitude change, brightness, and noise. According to the emotion model composed of 8 types of emotions, 160 songs categorized into the 8 types of emotions were selected, and the actual data was extracted and analyzed. Through the analysis of actual data, an emotion equation made of weighted value of 5 factors was derived, and an algorithm that can predict the emotion by mapping on the 2-dimensional emotion coordinate system through the emotion equation was designed. Also, a way of controlling emotion by moving the coordinates on the 2-dimensional emotion coordinate system was suggested.
