잠제의 해빈침식 방지 기능에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Analysis on the Beach Erosion Prevention Capability of Submerged Breakwaters)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the beach erosion prevention capability of submerged breakwaters under wave energy condition. To accomplish this objective, the computational domain was divided into two do-mains : the large and the detailed domain for the Song-Do beach. For each computational domain, numerical models for calculating transformation, wave induced current and beach erosion were used and also these numerical models were carefully applied to three experimental cases such as 1) the present beach condition, 2) the condition for which submerged breakwaters are installed about 240m from the shoreline of beach enlarged by artificial nourishments. The results of this research show that if storm waves attack the present beach, the erosion occurs widely all over the beach. However, when the submerged breakwaters are installed in addition to the artificial nourishments, storm waves can be adequately controlled and strong wave induced currents occur only around the submerged breakwaters resulting in the beach evolution appearing locally only at the western end of the beach.

  • Even though there can be a relative long-term or short-term change of their size in natural beaches due to various changes of sea condition such as the location, weather condition (wind and rain) and sea water flow, the budget of deposits in a specific area is generally regarded to be in a condition of equilibrium in terms of technology. However, as coasts are developed by many different kinds of ways (such as construction of sea walls and estuarine, dredging for gathering the aggregate and shore protection construction for establishing a structure) and sources of silt and gravel from rivers are decreased in balanced beaches, the beaches are in a serious danger of lack of sand and sand sources which are one of the maul elements to consist of them. Many swimming beaches in East Sea are directly exposed by waves generated and transmitted from outer seas. On the other hand, the Song-Do sandy beach which is this study's target area has a great condition for beach development because it locates the deepest place that is relatively shallow in Young-Il Man and there is big energy decrease given to waves from outer seas while the waves are reaching the Song-Do beach. Nevertheless, it is considered that artificial condition changes such as dredging for site extension by POSCO, getting straight of Hyoung-San Gang river flow and extension of Po-Hang harbor caused the sand loss of the beach. Therefore, some recovery plans of Song-Do sandy beach will be presented in this study and they will be compared and examined each other by numerical modeling experiment. After that, the best plan will be recommended.

부산 송도해수욕장의 해안선변화 특성 분석 (Characteristic Analysys of Songdo Beach, Busan, Shoreline Changes)

  • In this study, an investigation of the shoreline changes at Song-do beach in Busan was carried out for a coastal improvement project to prevent damage from coastal disasters. From the results of the observed data, it is seen that the shoreline moves seaward under extreme wave conditions and moves leeward under normal wave conditions. The reason for this is wave run-up when wave conditions are extreme in summer. In addition, nourishment sand is moved seaward by wave run-up. Thus, the shoreline's slope is gently decreased. Therefore, the shoreline is moved seaward.

  • 국토의 형상을 결정하는데 있어 중요한 해안 지역은 그 형태와 특성이 변화하는 모습을 가지고 있다. 대규모매립 공사와 크고 작은 해안 지역 개발 등으로 인하여 적절한 이용계획을 수립하는데 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 그 중에서 해안사구는 관광 및 생태학적 측면에서 아주 중요한 역할을 하고 있으며, 이에 대한 연구가 아직은 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 연구대상의 지역적 범위를 부산 송도해안으로 결정하였으며, 다년간의 RTK-GPS 측량 자료를 근거로 시계열적 분석을 통하여 해안사구의 이동경로를 분석하고자 한다. 송도해안의 경우, 해안선의 길이는 평균 약 620m, 면적은 약 $31,846m^2$으로 나타났다. 송도 해안은 좌우측에 방파제가 설치되어져 있으며, 이로 인해 모래의 유실을 최소화 할 수 있었으며, 매년 일정양의 양빈으로 인하여 꾸준히 해안 사구가 퇴적되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 7회 측정 결과 해안사구는 좌우측면이 침식되고 중앙부분이 퇴적되어 해안 사구가 전반적으로 앞으로 전진되고 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

부산 송도국민학교 아동들의 영양 상태에 관한 연구 (A study on the Nutritional status for School-Children of Bong-do Primary School, Busan, Korea, 1972.)

  • A study on the nutritional status for school-children has been carried out 1,700 school- children of Song-do primary school located in Song-do beach, Busan, Korea, from November to-December, 1972. The evaluation of the nutritional status has been carried out through skin-fold thickness and hemoglobin. The summarized results were as follows. : 1. Skinfolds thickness 1) Subcellular skinfolds thickness . Among boys, that was 3.5mm in the age 6 and 5.4mm in the age 11 Among girls, that was 4.2mm in the age 6 and 7.6mm in the age 11. Girls were thicker than toys in the all age. 2) Upper-arm skinfolds thickness Among boys, that was 5.0mm in the age 6 and 6.8mm in the age 11. Among girls, that was 6.2mm in the age 6 and 8.7mm in the age 11. Girls were thicker than toys in the all age. 3)Abdominal skinfolds thickness. Among boys, that was 4.0mm in the age 6, and 6.4mm in the age 11. Among girls that was 4.0mm in the age 0, and 8.4mm in the age 11. Girls were thicker than boys in the all age. 2. Hemoglobin Proportional range of hemoglobin were observed as 12.2-12.8 gm/㎗.

New records of two alien plants, Juncus torreyi (Juncaceae) and Egeria densa (Hydrocharitaceae) in Korea

  • Naturalized populations of two alien plants were newly found, and we describe their morphological characteristics and habitats with photographs. One is a member of Juncaceae, Juncus torreyi Coville, and was newly found at a pool of a beach in Gangwon-do. This rush is native to North America and belongs to the sect. Ozophyllum (subgen. Juncus) according to certain morphological characteristics, such as its racemose inflorescence, the absence of floral bracteole, and unitubular leaves with perfect septa. J. torreyi is easily distinguishable from Korean rushes by its long rhizomes with swollen nodes and globular head with 25-100 flowers. Its introduction into Japan and Europe was reported, but the ecological risk associated with its over-dispersal is not known. The other alien plant is a submerged plant, Egeria densa Planch. (Hydrocharitaceae), which was found in streams in Gyeongsangbuk-do and ditches in the Busan-si area, both of which being in the watershed of the Nakdong River. Egeria densa is similar to Hydrilla verticillata (L.f.) Royle, which is native to Korea. However, it is distinguished from H. verticillata by its larger flowers and lack of overwintering organs. This alien plant is native to South America and was introduced for aquarium gardening and naturalized around the world. Egeria densa is treated as a malignant weed due to its asexual reproduction and rapid growth. Size changes and the number of populations of E. densa must be investigated.

충남 대천해수욕장과 서천군 마량리 지역에 분포된 남포층군 변성퇴적암층의 변성지구조 진화 (The Tectono-metamorphic Evolution of Metasedimentary Rocks of the Nampo Group Outcropped in the Area of the Daecheon Beach and Maryangri, Seocheon-gun, Chungcheongnam-do)

  • 충남 대천해수욕장부근과 서천군 마량리 인대에 변성역암, 변성사암, 천매암 등으로 구성된 변성퇴적 암층이 노출되어 있다. 원암의 구성으로 볼 때 남포층군 중의 조계리층에 대비되며, 대표적인 변성광물군은 흑운모-백운모-석영(${\pm}$사장석${\pm}$녹니석)과 흑운모-백운모-석류석-석영(${\pm}$사장석${\pm}$녹니석)으로 중압변성의 각섬암상중 석류석대에 속한다. 지질온도압력계에 의해 계산된 온도-압력조건은 $560{\sim}595^{\circ}C$$6.9{\sim}8.2\;kb$이다. 천매암에서 분리된 흑운모의 K-Ar 연대는 $143.2{\pm}3.6\;Ma$, $122.6{\pm}2.4\;Ma$$124.8{\pm}2.4\;Ma$인데 뒤의 두 연대는 후기에 열적교란을 받은 것으로 판단된다. 기 발표된 연대측정에 의하면 대동누층군의 생성시기는 $187{\sim}175\;Ma$로 (Han et al., 2006; Jeon et al., 2007) 이 연구의 결과들과 조합하여 대보조산운동기에 일어난 이 지역에서의 변성지구조적 진화과정을 유추하였다. 남포층군 퇴적 직후인 175 Ma 부근에 습곡작용과 중첩된 트러스트운동으로 지각의 두께증가가 시작되었고, 정점변성작용을 거친 후 지각확장에 따른 정단층운동으로 흑운모의 폐쇄온도까지 빠르게 삭박되면서 냉각되는 과정을 겪었다.

다중센서를 이용한 해안선의 정량적 변화 추정: 방아머리 해빈을 중심으로 (Quantitative Estimation of Shoreline Changes Using Multi-sensor Datasets: A Case Study for Bangamoeri Beaches)

  • 해안지형의 자료는 장기간 해안선의 공간적 및 시간적 변화를 해석하는데 중요한 자료이다. 특히 누적된 자료를 분석하여 해빈지역의 해안침식 또는 퇴적의 추이를 이해하는 것은 향후 연안지역 관리의 측면에서 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 경기도 안산시에 위치하고 있는 방아머리 해빈을 대상으로 2009년, 2018년, 2019년에 각각 취득된 디지탈 항공영상, 지상 레이져스캐닝 자료 그리고 드론촬영 영상과 국립해양조사원의 조위관측 자료를 이용하여 약 10년 동안의 해안선 변화를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 처리 과정에서는 사진측량학적 기법을 적용하여 2009년의 스테레오 영상으로부터 4.40 m인 해안선을 입체도화 방식으로 추출하였다. 2018년도에는 레이져스캐너로부터 취득한 원자료를 이용하여 수치표고모형을 생성하고 해당되는 해안선을 반자동으로 추출하였다. 2019년도에는 드론영상으로부터 수치표고모형을 생성하여 해안선을 추출하였고 3개년도의 해안선을 이용하여 해안선의 변화율을 산정하였고 정성적으로 분석하였다.
