소프트웨어 품질관리 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Method for software Quality control)

  • As the competition between countries has become higher and the notion of software quality has been widely spread. it has been necessary to develop technologies that can ensure and produce high quality software. With the advent of information-oriented society. quality control has to transfer to the quality control activities focused on software system instead of those activities focused on hardware system. If so, how do we get to handle the quality control on the basis of the new approach. Also, as software applications have grown, so too has the importance of software quality. In order to manage software quality, the technology to specify and evaluate both the software product quality and development process quality objectively quantitatively is most important. To produce products of good quality, we need a more progressive quality control system according to the need of software development life cycle. In other words, we do software right the first time or build quality in the process. On the basis intermediate and final time or build quality in the process. On the basis of data achieved, we can evaluate the products according to the consequences of the data, What are the problems to contrive the software quality control system?, we con promote the quality of products. To achieved that goal, we con provide a suitable the technique and method of software quality control.

  • This paper presents a survey of software reliability modeling and it's application to pre-built software system combined with hardware such as numerical controller based on personal computer systems. Many a systems in these days are much more becoming software intensive and many software intensive systems are safety critical. For this reason, the technique well developed to measure of software reliability is very important for whom to assess such a system. This paper provides a brief idea of method to evaluate such a system's reliability based on hardware performance.

  • In this paper, we propose a new scalable and reliable combat system software in battleship which was developed procedurally in the past. Recently, combat system software is required to change frequently due to addition of new equipment and change of function. To solve those problems, this paper propose how to change combat system software into scalable software using class structure change and design pattern. Simulation results show that our scheme provides better performances and reliability than conventional scheme. Therefore proposed scheme can be efficiently used in Naval combat system.

협업적 소프트웨어 개발 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Collaborative Software Development Management System)

  • Since software development team members have been more geographically spread due to the globalization of business and Internet technologies, the management of deliverables and communication efforts for developing high-quality software products on time is becoming more complicated. Among the functional requirements for collaborative software development management, the manipulation of shared information objects is essential for the collaborative work among distributed development team members. This paper proposes an integrated information object management framework comprised of a so-called BOC (Bill Of Class) scheme and a standardized software part dictionary for managing shared information objects efficiently among distributed co-workers. In order to manage these complex information objects, the proposed framework adopt product structures represented by Bills Of Materials (BOM) as stems for integrating the various information objects. Based on the proposed framework, a collaborative software development management system (CSDMS) is implemented, and the functionalities and the structure of the system are also described in this paper. The proposed system provides sufficient functionalities for the change management of information objects and the management of their relationship to other objects rather than existing system.

철도소프트웨어 개발 및 평가프로세스 제안 (Suggestion of Development and Assessment Procedure for Railway Software)

  • One of the main concerns of railway system is to secure safety. Nowadays digital technology has been rapidly applied to safety critical system. The digital system performs more varying and highly complex functions efficiently compared to the existing analog system because software can be flexibly designed and implemented. The flexible design makes it difficult to predict the software failures. For this reason, the safety criteria are suggested to secure the software safety for the field of railway system. Following them, the railway software have to be examined whether it is properly developed according to the safety criteria and certification process. Because the articles suggested in safety criteria are written in legal term, it is difficult to apply the criteria to develop railway software. This paper suggests and discusses a development and assessment procedure to solve these issues for railway software with more detail description.

  • Industrial ventilation is one of crucial engineering measures to protect workers from hazardous airborne contaminants. Designing a ventilation system is not an easy task. To solve this problem, U.S. computer programs and softwares have been developed. In Korea, a software, called as VPMC(Velocity Pressure Method Calculation), was developed by Korean Industrial Safety Corporation. Since VPMC is a DOS-based software, it could not be a user-friendly one. In this study, a Windows-based software was thus developed to overcome the difficulty in using a software for designing the ventilation system. As far as we know, this kind of Windows-based software is the first in the world. But this software should be kept being revised. The future work would include introduction of GUI(Graphic User Interface) and enhancement of editing functions by using Data-Base programs.

KASS 통합운영국 소프트웨어 품질 보증을 위한 소프트웨어 품질 모델 및 메트릭 적용방안 (Application of Software Quality Model and Metric for Software Product Assurance for KASS Control Station)

  • KASS(Korea Augmentation Satellite System)는 국토교통부에서 2014년부터 개발 중인 한국형 위성항법보강시스템이다. KASS는 항공기 안전에 영향을 미칠수 있는 항공용 시스템이기 때문에 KASS의 각 소프트웨어는 안전성 분석을 통해 할당된 DO-178B의 소프트웨어 레벨에 따라 개발이 수행된다. KASS의 하위시스템인 통합운영국의 경우 일부 소프트웨어를 제외하고는 DO-178B 레벨E를 할당 받았으며 DO-178B 레벨E 소프트웨어의 경우 제품 보증을 위해 ECSS-Q-ST-80C 카테고리 D를 준수하여 개발하도록 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ECSS-Q-ST-80C를 만족하기 위해 ECSS-E-ST-40C, ECSS-Q-HB-80-04A를 분석하여 KASS 통합운영국 소프트웨어의 제품 보증을 위한 소프트웨어 생명 주기 별 활동 및 소프트웨어 품질 모델, 메트릭을 제안한다.

전력계통 운용 및 제어에 대한 교육 및 훈련용 대화식 그래픽 소프트웨어 개발 (Development of an Interactive Graphic Software for the Education and Training of Power System Operation and Control)

  • This paper discusses the development of an interactive and graphic software for the education and training of power system operation and control, especially for students and beginners. This software has a lot of functions for users to simulate the power system operation and control with ease. These functions included in this software are followings. First, this software includes a Graphic User Interface (GUI) - which contains interactive simulation scheme, Windows dialog box, graphic representations, and graphic icons - so that users can handle the software in user-friendly environments. Second, it uses a graphic editor so that users can easily edit the one-line diagram of the power system. Third, it prepares a database system so that users can manage the power system data for simulation easily. Fourth, the application modules included in the software are the Economic Dispatch (ED) and the Automatic Load-Frequency Control (ALFC). These application modules are designed as independent modules. Using the ED module, users can understand the basic concepts of the ED with ease. And using the ALFC module, they can easily acquire the basic understanding of the response of the ALFC between the two-area systems. The proposed software is tested on both the 16 bus and the two-area sample system. The test has confirmed the functions of the developed software. It is anticipated that the software will be useful for the education and training of power system operation and control for the power engineering study at university or for the training of the beginner at power industry.

  • 무기체계 내장형 소프트웨어의 품질을 시험하는 것은 무기체계 내장형 소프트웨어의 요구에 부합되는 고품질의 시스템을 구현할 수 있도록 지원하기 위함이다. 일반적인 내장형 소프트웨어에 대한 품질평가 방법론이나 평가기법 등이 개발된 사례가 있으나 엄격한 품질 수준을 요구하는 무기체계 내장형 소프트웨어의 경우에는 아직까지 구체적인 체계가 구축되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 최근 다양한 무기체계 내장형 시스템이 개발되어 활용되고 있으나 품질확보 면에서 많은 노력이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 무기체계 내장형 소프트웨어 평가를 위해 ISO/IEC 12119를 근간으로 하여 평가를 수행할 수 있는 평가모델과 품질검사표를 개발하여 무기체계 내장형 소프트웨어 평가에 적용할 수 있도록 하였다.
