This paper presents several modeling methods to analyze the stub-girder system, testifies those methods base on actual test results for the behavior of the simply supported stub-girder system, and finally, by changing the boundary conditions in those models, predicts the behavior of the fixed end stub-girder system. Two different methods are used for the structural modeling. In the first method, the stub-girder is modeled as a vierendeel truss girder, and in the second method, as a finite element model. Both methods use the finite element analysis software package LUSAS™ for linearly elastic analyses and nonlinear analyses.

이 논문은 수치해석에서 적분값을 구하는데 이용되는 Romberg 적분법이 많은 계산량으로 인하여 소프트웨어적인 방법으로는 처리 속도가 떨어지므로 수치처리를 위한 툴 키트를 사용시 처리속도가 떨어진다. 그래서 이 논문에서는 시스토릭어레이를 이용하여 Romberg 적분법에 적분값을 구하는 새로운 하드웨어를 제안하였다. 이 새로운 하드웨어는Romberg 적분법이 2단계로 나누어져있어서 2단계의 시스토릭어레이로 설계를 하였다. 첫번째 단계는 사다리꼴 적분법에 의해서 근사치를 구하고, 두 번째는 단계는 구해진 적분값을수렴속도도 빠르고 근사 값을 정확하게 하기 위해서 오차의 위수를 높여 가는 방법에 많이사용하는 Richardson의 외삽법을 적용하여 적분값을 구하는 것이다.

This paper deals with the optimization problem that decides the routing of connection between multi-source and multi-sink. For this problem, there is only in used the mathematical approach as linear programming (LP) software package and has been unknown the polynomial time algorithm. In this paper we suggest the heuristic algorithm with $O(mn)^2$ time complexity to solve the optimal solution for this problem. This paper suggests the simple method that assigns the possible call flow quantity to augmenting path of ($s_i,t_i$) city pair satisfied with demand of ($s_i,t_i$). The proposed algorithm can be get the same optimal solution as LP for experimental data.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the product characteristics and spatial configuration in a retail store. This study utilized the analytical method of Space Syntax, and the software package used for the analysis was New-wave and Pesh. The qualitative study focused on the showroom of 'H INTERIOR', a leading furniture company in Korea, and examined the accessibility of the space. The result showed that the main accessible route was well established in the retail store, and more trendy and fashionable products were likely to be displayed in more accessible places. Also, the products in the selected showroom were arranged according to the pricing information, so that products with lower price were displayed in more accessible places. This study suggested that it be important to adequately and appropriately display the products in relation to the characteristics of products, and implied that the method of Space Syntax was useful to strategically evaluate the display in retail spaces.

The paper presents the component parts and their models of the Switched Reluctance motor drive system with the angle position-current chopping control and with the fixed angle pulse width modulation control. The calculation of the parameters and the simulated models based on the MATLAB SIMULINK software package are introduced by a four-phase 816 structure prototype with the four-phase asymmetric bridge power converter. The simulation of the prototype in the course of starting is made by the simulated models at the different control strategies and the different given rotor speed.

This paper presents a comparative study of P and PI controllers for a current source inverter (CSI) fed induction motor drive system. A dq model has been used which incorporates the induction motor and the inverter power supply with current feedback. The model is used first to generate the steady state curves to determine the operating point through computer simulations using the software package MATLAB. Then a transient analysis has been carried out for different values of the speed and current controller parameters. The controller value is adjusted by the Ziegler-Nichols method. It has been observed that the transient time to reach the steady state value is larger with the PI controller than with the P controller.

This raper describes a nev program designed as a part of the integrated software package for distribution system planning and operation. The program accesses electrical map databases which include both electrical and geographical information. Data retrieval, load flow analyses, and reconfiguration studies can be easily performed in highly interactive environment on graphics and pull down menus, case study results demonstrate the practical usefulness of the program at the real systems.

This research aims to compare fashion marketing education in Korea and in U.S.A.. Based upon on-line and off-line survey to university professors in both countries, this study analyzes their responses including subjective opinions concerning educational conditions, methods and performance. The responses are analyzed by ANOVA and Chi-Square Test in a statistical software package, SPSS. As a result, it shows that the education in Korea is substantially different from that in U.S.A.. In educational condition, in particular, more significant difference between two countries exists in terms of professors than in terms of educational environment. Also educational performance differs between them more in enhancing practical ability of students than in promoting motivation of students.

The purpose of this research was to develop an automatic design with dialogue function in computer for pants pattern making. AutoCAD including AutoLISP was the programable software package, so AutoCAD were used basically for this research. The conclusions were like these; 1. Dialogue functions of computer allowed the designer to choose emotional elements. 2. The coordinate points needed in drafting for women's pants pattern making were suggest-ed by numerical fomula. So, if the input data of body sizes needed were used, pants patterns for person were automatically obtained as the output. 3. The several curvature parts were presented by using exponent function and the arc drawing of AutoCAD and the degree of bends were to be selected by choosing the simple parameter of algebraic function and arc AutoCAD command. 4. The program permited pattern manipulation and pattern grading of five standard sizes were presented. Also its flow chart by AutoLISP with dialogue function were presented.

The purpose of this study was to examine the conditions of , and needs for improvement in the University professor`s office. To fulfill this task, the way of using office environment, attitudes for work environment intentions and features to improve, and preferred characteristics were examined and scrutinized. The data for this study were collected through a questionnaire survey and analyzed with SAS Package software. 279 professor at Yonsei University participated in the study. The detailed aspects of conditions, various ways and their priorities for improvement of the environment were described. These results are expected to be used as basis for the design of office space as it applies to facility management perspectives-which has not been implemented in Korea.
