The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors of hairdo attitude and hairdo involvement, the differences in the hairdo involvement by hairdo attitude. The questionnaires were given to female residents in Seoul and Kyung-gi do during September to October 2006. 406 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 software such as factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, ANOVA test and Duncan test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The hairdo attitude factors were found to be 'leader's fashion conformity', 'distinct individuality', 'constancy', and 'consciousness of others' The hairdo involvement factors were found to be 'interests in hairdo', 'fashionableness', 'symbolic representation', 'risk awareness', and 'coordination of hairdo'. 2. As for the hairdo attitude, two groups were identified as the highly-oriented group and the lowly-oriented group. There were significant differences in all hairdo involvement factors depending on two groups. Highly-oriented groups of 'leader's fashion conformity' considered more about interests in hairdo, fashionableness, symbolic representation, and coordination of hairdo, except for risk awareness, signalling that the more people respond to leader's fashion, the higher they are involved with hairdo. Highly-oriented group of 'constancy' showed significant differences in fashionableness and risk awareness. Lower level of fashionableness but higher level of risk awareness than the lowly-oriented group. Highly-oriented group of 'consciousness of others' displayed high performance in all factors, implying that the more people respond to feedback and evaluation of others, the higher they are involved with hairdo.
Hotel practitioners are searching for leadership typology to maximize employees' capabilities and consistency in their attitude. Also, they are increasingly interested in their employees' traits which constitute and influence their job attitude. This study sought to investigate the impact of servant leadership mediated through self-leadership on employees' job attitude. Focused on hotel restaurant employees, representing 15 hotels in Seoul Metropolitan Area, a survey was conducted and 272 respondents out of 297 were empirically analyzed. The collected data was analyzed with the SPSS 12.0 for Windows and AMOS software program. Structural equation modeling was conducted to test the hypotheses. The results suggested that servant leadership has a significant impact on self-leadership. Furthermore, self-leadership was found to have a significant impact on job satisfaction. However, direct influence of self-leadership on organizational commitment was not found. Finally, servant leadership was found to have a direct impact on job satisfaction. On the other hand, servant leadership positively influences on organizational commitment when mediated through self-leadership. In addition, this study provides practical implications for hotel restaurant professionals in linking servant leadership mediated through self-leadership to job attitude.

This study examined the relationships among dementia knowledge, attitude, and preventive behavior of an urban-rural complex city. In this study, 483 subjects using welfare and health centers were selected from one urban-rural complex city. The data were collected using the questionnaires for dementia knowledge, attitude and preventive behavior. Data analysis was performed by descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA using SPSS 19 software. In both urban and rural areas, elderly more than 70 years of age, no spouse, less educated, and lower income had higher scores of dementia attitude. In addition, the dementia attitude scores were higher when they were thinking more of their bad health. In conclusion, there is a need to strengthen the training and programs for dementia's knowledge, attitudes and prevention activities by a spouse or family member in early elderly period.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the hairdo involvement and hairdo attitude influenced by clothing involvement. In addition, actual conditions of hairdo were investigated. The questionnaires were given to female residents in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province during September to October 2006. Four hundred and six questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software with various techniques such as factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, ANOVA test, Duncan test, frequency analysis and $X^2-test$. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The factors for clothing involvement were found to be interests and pleasure in clothes, coordination of clothes, symbolic representation, fashionableness, and risk awareness. The hairdo involvement factors were found to be interests and pleasure in hairdo, fashionableness, symbolic representation, risk awareness, and coordination of hairdo. The factors for attitude toward hairdo were found to be orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality, constancy, and consciousness of others. 2. According to the level of clothing involvement, three types of group were defined. When difference in the hairdo involvement was analyzed, all factors showed significant differences. When difference in the hairdo attitude was analyzed, significant differences were found in orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality and consciousness of others. 3. Reason for choosing hair style is 'it's because they wanted the hair style', 'it's easy to groom', 'it's what they usually choose'. Average hair grooming time is less than 5 minute had higher rate, and then less than 10 minute came second. The money spend on buying consumption goods for hair treatment per month had the highest rate on spending 10,000 to 20,000won and the source of information on hairdo had the highest rate on hairdresser. The reason for choosing hair saloon had the highest rate on hairdressing skill, which shows that people choose hair saloons which they can trust on hair saloon's hairdressing skill.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relations among appropriateness of work, competency on student suicide and attitude toward suicide in health teachers. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive one. The subjects were 193 health teachers. Self-administered questionnaires were used to measure the variables of this study. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression with SAS 9.3 software were used for the data analysis. Results: The attitude score toward suicide ranged from 1.47 to -1.03. The average score of appropriateness of work and competency related to student suicide were 2.34 and 2.81 respectively. Associated factors with competency related to student suicide among health teacher were appropriateness of work related to student suicide, two items of attitude toward suicide(suicide is an acceptable means to end an incurable illness and people who commit suicide are usually mentally ill), education level, education experience on suicide prevention and management, and the adjusted $R^2$ of the regression model was 34.3%. Conclusion: Health teachers were not tolerable to student suicide. However, they evaluated themselves as low in the appropriateness and competency to the work on student suicide, especially in screening and counselling of high risk groups. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop education programs about counseling and intervention on student suicide for health teachers.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess 119 emergency medical technicians' perception of child abuse, attitudes towards mandatory reporting, and perceptions of mandatory reporting system, and to promote early reporting. Methods: The questionnaire was filled out by one hundred ninety 119 EMTs with paramedic or nurse licenses. The questionnaire consisted of 53 items with responses based on a five-point scale. Data were collected from July 10 to July 31, 2018, and were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 24.0 software. Results: The average score for 119 EMT's perception of child abuse was 3.76. The average score for positive attitude towards mandatory reporting was 3.63, and the average score for negative attitude towards mandatory reporting was 2.63. The average score for perceptions of the mandatory reporting system was 3.50. There was a significant positive correlation between perception of child abuse and positive attitude towards mandatory reporting (r=.244, p=.001), between perception of child abuse and perceptions of the mandatory reporting system (r=.209, p=.004), and between positive attitude towards mandatory reporting and perceptions of mandatory reporting system (r=.336, p=.000). Conclusion: Systemic educational programs for 119 EMTs on perception of child abuse and reporting are needed. It is very important to establish institutional strategies such as the use of checklist for suspicion of child abuse, procedural simplicity after reporting, and protection of reporter information.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of each of the two technology acceptance factors(employees' attitude toward smart factory technology, and ease of smart factory technology use) on the introduction level of each of the three smart factory technologies (manufacturing big data technology, automation technology, and supply chain integration technology), and in turn, the effect of each of the three smart factory technologies on manufacturing performance. This study employed PLS statistics software package to empirically validate a structural equation model with survey data from 100 domestic small-and medium-sized manufacturing firms (SMMFs). The analysis results revealed the followings. First, it is founded that employees' attitude toward smart factory technology influenced all of the three smart factory technology introduction levels in a positive manner. In particular, SMMFs of which employees had more favorable attitude toward smart factory technology tended to increase introduction levels of both automation technology and supply chain integration technology more than in the case of manufacturing big data technology. Second, ease of smart factory technology use also had a positive impact on each of the three smart factory technology introduction levels, respectively. A noteworthy finding is this : SMMFs which perceived smart factory technology as easier to use would like to elevate the introduction level of manufacturing big data technology more than in the cases of either automation technology or supply chain integration technology. Third, smart factory technologies such as automation technology and supply chain integration technology had affirmative impacts on manufacturing performance of SMMFs. These results shed some valuable insights on the introduction of smart factory technology : The success of smart factory heavily depends on organization-and people-related factors such as employees' attitude toward smart factory technology and employees' perceived ease of smart factory technology use.

There is a great deal of effort to improve Computational Thinking in education. In this paper, we define the relationship between SW capability and Computational Thinking, and then examine the current status of pre-service teacher's computing thinking. For this purpose, a survey about the attitude toward SW education and computing thinking was administered to prospective teachers who learned Entry software for one semester. The results of the survey showed that the improvement of abstraction, data analysis, and automation among the pre-service teacher's computing thinking is needed. When educating preliminary teachers, we can see that we need an education method that can increase the analysis and design capability beyond the Entry Software development tool.

The purpose of this study is to investigate social aspects of young EFL learners' interaction at the computer. Data were taken from the interactions of three pairs of fourth-grade primary school children who worked together on English learning software. Their interactions at the computer were videotaped and then all the talk produced by the students and the utterances emitted from the computer were transcribed. As for the analytical tools, the notion of ‘contextualization cues’ (Gumperz, 1982) and the concept of ‘positioning’ (Davies & Harre,1990) were employed. The analysis reveals that the roles of the students were not tied to a certain position, but rather dynamically changed during the course of interactive work according to the situation at hand. The dynamic changes in their positions were realized through various means; their capability in solving problems, their taking responsibility or assigning it to each other, or cooperation. There were also instances of peer teaching and motivated learning. In addition, the students showed autonomy in their learning activity. These findings suggest that both students in a dyad had their own place in performing task activities, contributing to solving problems and getting benefits from peer interaction. Furthermore, students' working together on English learning software may provide an environment which can promote cooperative attitude and responsibility for learning and enhance motivation and autonomy in their learning process.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) constitute an important part of current industrial economies. Information technologies can be useful strategic weapons for SMEs by enhancing their competitiveness. Categorized as one kind of cloud computing, SaaS is a computing resource and software sharing model which can be accessed via the Internet. Based on virtualization technology, SaaS is expected to improve the efficiency and quality of the IT service level in SMEs. This study attempts to identify the determinants of SaaS adoption intention among Korean SMEs. Through the lens of the theory of planned behavior, this study adopts technological, organizational, environmental factors to explore the determinants of cloud computing adoption intention. The research population is the SMEs that have been funded by the Korean government. Partial least square method was used for empirical analysis of 190 samples collected through on-line survey. The results show that the positive attitude is influenced by business process improvements. Vender support and top management support are positively associated with subjective norm. Vendor support, top management support can relieve perceived behavior control factors. Government support directly influences adoption intention of cloud computing. These findings can provide useful strategy for both SMEs and vendors of SaaS.
