In this paper, we propose the development and application of a software education program for underachievers. The software education program for underachieving students was developed in consideration of the characteristics of learner's suffering from underachievement and the educational effects of software education, and is meaningful in that it proposes a plan to improve the learning gap in distance learning. Learners can acquire digital literacy and learning skills by solving structured tasks in the form of courseware, intelligent tutoring, debugging, and artificial intelligence learning models in educational programs. Based on the effects of software education, such as enhancing logical thinking ability and problem solving ability, this program provides opportunities to solve fusion tasks to underachievers. Based on this, it is expected that it can have a positive effect on the overall academic work.

This study aims to provide suggestions for software education in an afterschool program, deriving from the analysis of student experiences of working on Scratch team projects. This study reports on the implementation of the 12 week afterschool software education program in an elementary school, where students worked in pairs to learn Scratch programming from ideation to design and presentation. For an in-depth study of student-generated artifacts, we selected three groups' Scratch projects and conducted artifact-based interviews to unpack student experiences working on Scratch projects as a group. Adopting the computational thinking framework as an overarching analytical lens, we focused on examining student experiences from three dimensions of computational thinking (CT), namely, CT concepts, CT practices, and CT perspectives. The present study provides both theoretical and practical implications. Firstly, we demonstrate the feasibility of applying the CT framework for assessing student-generated artifacts in design-oriented software education. We also believe that this study provides important suggestions to future software education programs adopting CT as an overarching design and assessment framework.

The purpose of this study is to see the effect on the improvement of students' creativity through Treffinger's creative problem solving(CPS) model modified for Information life Education. In order to practice of this study, Software of the pleasant computer and one experimental group is chosen for the study and instructed 20 hours for consecutive 10 weeks with the modified CPS instruction model. The same creativi쇼 test is performed after experimental treatment in order to figure out the differences in the improvement of creativity in experimental group.
The objective of this study to investigate the satisfaction of elementary and middle school students in Chungnam province. We surveyed related to school food service, concerns about food ingredients and dietary life, perceptions of free school food service and satisfaction the quality and management of the school food service. Furthermore, this survey with the previous. Compared to year, frequency of education related to school food service and concerns about food ingredients and dietary life. Perception on free school food service increased 1.2%, not statistically significant. Satisfaction for the quality of the school food service statistically significant increase compared to 2015. ore individuals educated the foods' county-of-origin and a higher concern the food materials and dietary life, subsequently higher satisfaction for the quality and management of school food service. The results of this study suggest that concern and concentration on software of school food service such as education and guide are important.

In this study, the direction for hierarchical curriculum organization about software education in Korea was suggested in terms of overall execution of software education. The international case studies especially was conducted in order to suggest the propel educational programming language for level of students in the programming activity. In terms of the international case studies, the type of programming language was examined, which is suggested to each school level as a part of required regular curriculum. Then, the direction was supposed to suggest the instructional system organization of software education for Korea through the result of case studies. The results of case studies indicated that elementary school use the block based programming language, and text based programming languages are used from middle school.

Software education has started as a compulsary subject or part in elementary, middle and high school, but there is a limitation for using the physical computing toolkit and instructional guidelines that teacher can use. The purpose of this study is to propose a computing education program using a physical computing toolkit called the Micro:bit. The novel instructional model is called "MDIAP" which consists of five stages : Motivation, Demonstration, Imitation, Application, Presentation. Instructional process is presented in spiral, consisting of basic micro-bit sensors, and maker's learning using additional sensors and actuators. This study will help students to enhance creative computational thinking through the MDIAP instructional activities.

In the modern artificial intelligence society, the goal of education is to cultivate convergent talents who can adapt well to and lead the artificial intelligence society. The core competency required of convergent future talents is to be able to understand and create software well. In this respect, algorithmic education is very important. Therefore, in this study, an algorithm education program was developed to improve convergent thinking ability. The effectiveness was verified through the paired samples t-test by conducting a pre-post test of convergent thinking ability, and it was found that students' convergent thinking ability was significantly improved in the areas of algorithm knowledge and function.

Physical computing, a concrete operational activity using tools, can help children to understand principles of computer science by observing interactions between a computer and the real world directly. This study aims to design and develop an android application to utilize students' smart phones as a tool of physical computing education. The application includes one class designed to collect data using android smart phone sensors and another designed to transfer the data to a computer which students can use to learn programming. The physical computing application can be used to help students understand the principles of computer science more easily in schools not equipped with physical computing tools.
SimRiver, computer simulation software for assessment of river water quality is an educational simulation software created for studying the relationship between human activity and river environment using epilithic diatom communities, The SimRiver program was applied to total seventy eight teachers of elementary, middle and high schools in Korea, and the teachers' reactions were analyzed with the questionnaire survey. Total 79.2% of the teachers estimated the possibility of SimRiver to be applied as a educational material in lessons is high. Especially total 93.6% of the teachers answered that they will use SimRiver in their lessons. The results of the questionnaire survey indicate that SimRiver is an interesting and easy simulator of alternative field exercise for students to understand the relationship between human activity and quality of river water.
