ESM을 통해 본 대학생의 주관적 삶의 질 -정서, 인지적 효율성, 만족도의 측면에서- (Korean University Students' Emotion, Cognitive Efficiency and Satisfaction through the Experiential Sampling Method)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the perceived quality of life of Korean university students'. The perceived quality of life was composed of three dimensions: emotion, cognitive efficiency, and satisfaction. The study results were as follow: 1. Korean university students felt more positive emotions when they spent time for social activities. 2. In the cognitive efficiency, social activities also scored highly of 5 questions, but in the item of "awareness of another person's eye", productive activities were higher. 3. Korean university students were more satisfied with themselves when they spent time for productive activities. However, they were more satisfied with their work itself when the work was social activities. 4. Korean university students' emotions, cognitive efficiencies, and satisfaction were significantly different by socio-graphic variables and context.

소방공무원의 직무스트레스와 사회심리적 스트레스와의 연관성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Job Stress and Socio-Psychological stress of firefighter)

  • Purpose: Firefighters were subjected to be exposed to 24-hour shiftwork and high level of job stress, but there is little study of fire fighters about between Job Stress and Psychological stress in Korea. This study was performed to evaluate job stress of fire fighters grouped by different job types and analyze the health effect of job stress by using a PWI-SF(Psycho-social Well-being Index, Short Form). Methods : This study was to measure the degree of job stress and socio-psychological stress of firefighters working at 119 safety center and analyze the relationship between job stress and mental health, through self-administered questionnaire survey on 918 fire fighters working at fire department located in Korea, during October in 2008. Question items of the questionnaire consist of general characteristics, job stress, and socio-psychological stress. Job Stress Measurement Scale for Koreans was used to measure job stress, while PWI-SF used for socio-psychological stress. Collected data was analyzed through frequency analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, multi-regression analysis using a statistic program, SPSS/10.0 Ver for Windows, and statistical significance level was 0.05. Result : Accordingly, this paper is written for the purpose of scrutinizing the reason of 119 rescuers' job stress and Socio-Psychological stress. This thesis tries to analyze a problem and provide contents through many variables concerned and theoretical investigation with the actual research of questionnaire. The results of the study are summarized as follows : Fire fighters feel relatively high stressful in their performance. Job stress, organizational commitment and burnout did not have been influence upon by individual cases such as economic condition, regular exercise etc. Finally, as a result of step by step regression analysis, the variable that can explain Socio-Psychological stress the best was negative emotion scale(NE). Conclusions : It is necessary to conduct repeated studies in the future, since the study implied that there was a contrary relationship between job stress and socio-psychological stress. In order to reduce job stress and maintain better mental health, it is more important than anything else to help firefighters have willingness and efforts to sustain a healthy life, so the development of various programs and education to raise their awareness should be implemented.

0-8세 아동의 사회정서 발달과 어머니의 심리적 특성 : 보령 베이비패널 자료를 중심으로 (0-8 Children's Socio-Emotional Development and Mothers' Psychological States : Based on Boryung Baby Panel Data)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall developmental characteristics of Korean children ages 0 to 8, and then explore specifically how children's social and emotional developmental levels are related to mothers' psychological states. This study was part of newly launched Boryung Baby Panel Study using web-based survey in 2011. The subjects were all mothers of 940 infants(0-2 years), 654 toddlers(3-5 years), and 484 school-age children(6-8 years) The mothers were asked to administer the web-based standardized developmental checklist for their child and fill out the questionnaires of psychological variables(life satisfaction, depression, parenting attitude, parenting efficacy, and parenting stress). The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, and logistic regression for SPSS 20.0 windows. Major findings were as follows: 1. Infants(0 to 2) showed higher developmental level in cognition and fine motor skill domain compared to other domains. 2. Most toddlers(3 to 5) showed normal development in the most domain such as gross motor skill, fine motor skill, language, letter, number, self-help behavior. 3. In socio-emotional development domain, the ratio of risk or delay group were highest at both infant and toddler. 4. The 6-8 years old children that belong to risk group by the result of SDQ(emotion and behavior assessment) were also relatively high. 5. The relation of the children's socio-emotional developmental level and the mother's psychological variables were reciprocal. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of current study were discussed.

일부 미용 전공 학생의 헤어스타일과 성격의 관련성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Hairstyling of College Students in Department of Beauty Art and Their Personalities)

  • This study was designed to identify the relationship between general characteristics and personalities of college students majoring in beauty art. For this, 286 female students from two colleges in Kwangju were interviewed using a questionnaire pertaining to their general characteristics, hair-style and personality from September 20 through 30, 2001. A $x^2{\;}-{\;}test$ was implemented to identify the relationship between hair-style, personality and other variables. The results are summarized as follows: 1 To define characteristics in relation with hair-style, how students decide their hair-style was examined and, as a result, it was reported that 80.8% of targeted students decided by themselves and 19.2% decided by others' suggestions. 2. It is reported that there was no statistically significant relationship among socio-demographic characteristics such as the length of hair, grades, allowances, religion, satisfaction of campus life, and characteristics relating to hair-style such as accessories, mood, shape of face, decision of hair-style, and texture of hair. 3. Their preference of perm type had a statistically significant relationship with their allowance, religion and accessories, but not with their grades, satisfaction of campus life, mood, shape of face, hair-style, and texture of hair. 4. Dye and bleach had a statistically significant relationship with the texture of hair, but not with socio-demographic characteristics and accessories, mood, shape of face and decision of hair-style. 5. Personality of tenacity, extroversion and introversion, emotion and falsehood had no statistically significant relationship with hair-style. Finally, it was proven that strength, extroversion and introversion, emotion and falsehood had no statistically significant relationship with hair-style. More studies to identify personal tendencies that may affect hair-style are necessary.

유아의 애착안정성이 조망수용에 미치는 영향: 실행기능의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Attachment Security on Preschoolers' Perspective Taking: Executive Function as a Mediator)

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine the prospective links among perspective taking, attachment security, and executive function and the mediating role of executive function on the relationship between attachment security and perspective taking. Methods: The participants included 147 preschoolers living in Gyeonggi. The data-analysis methods included descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVAs, Pearson's correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and the Sobel test. Results: First, preschoolers' perspective taking was significantly related to attachment security, and executive function. Furthermore, there was a significant association between attachment security and executive function. As expected, the correlations were positive in all cases. Second, the effects of attachment security on intention and emotion perspective takings were fully mediated by executive function when holding children's age and vocabulary constant. However, executive function did not predict thought perspective taking, whereas attachment security did. Conclusion: Given that parent-child attachment security might play an important role in child cognitive and socio-cognitive development, parents' endeavors to enhance the quality of the attachment relationship could be a fruitful path for preschoolers' developing executive capacities and perspective taking.

어머니의 정서적 가용성이 유아의 사회적 기술 및 문제행동에 미치는 영향: 유아 의도적 통제의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Maternal Emotional Availability on Preschooler's Social Skills and Problem Behaviors: The Mediating Effects of Preschooler's Effortful Control)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effects of preschooler's effortful control on the relationship between maternal emotional availability and preschooler's social skills and problem behaviors. One hundred-thirty six 5-year-old preschoolers and their mothers participated in this study. Instruments for this study were the Emotional Availability Scale for maternal emotional availability, the Delay task, and the Child Behavior Questionnaire for preschooler's effortful control, and the Social Skill Rating Scale, K-CBCL 1.5-5 and K-TRF for preschooler's social skills and problem behaviors. The resulting data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, partial correlation, and structural equation modeling analysis. As predicted, the preschooler's effortful control mediated the effects of maternal emotional availability on preschooler's social skills and problem behaviors. In conclusion, the preschooler's effortful control mediates the effects of emotion related socialization behavior on the preschooler's socio-emotional adjustment.

상호작용형 에이전트의 설명 양식을 디자인하기 위한 프레임워크 개발 (Framework for Designing Explanatory Style of Interactive Agents)

  • 최근 다양한 형태의 에듀테인먼트 시스템 내에서 사용자와 상호작용이 가능한 에이전트를 통하여 사용자에게 참여 동기 유발을 향상시키기 위한 시도가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 특히, 에이전트와의 상호작용을 통해 사용자에게 사회적 감정에 대한 이해를 향상시킬 수 있도록 하기 위하여 에이전트의 사회적 감정 생성 기법에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 연구들은 대부분 사회적 감정 생성에 중요한 영향을 끼치는 개인성에 대해 추상적인 면을 다루는데 그치고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 개인성에 따라 에이전트가 사회적 상황을 이해하는 경향에 대한 차이점을 중점적으로 다루는 평가 모델을 개발하고 이러한 평가 모델이 에이전트의 감정 생성에 미치는 영향에 대해서 살펴본다. 이를 위하여 인간의 개인성과 상황 인지에 대한 관계성을 구체적으로 다룬 심리학적 설명 양식(Explanatory style) 이론을 기반으로 하여 에이전트로 하여금 개인성에 따라 자신이 처한 상황에 대해 서로 다른 설명 성향을 나타낼 수 있도록 하는 프레임워크를 제안한다. 이는 심리학적 설명 양식에서 언급하는 주요 설명 변수들을 에이전트에 적용 가능한 형태로 모델링하고 설명 변수의 정도에 따라 에이전트로 하여금 상황을 인지하는 성향을 결정할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다. 그리고 에이전트로 하여금 설명 경향에 따라 상황을 인지 및 자율적으로 해석할 수 있도록 하고 이에 따라 감정 상태를 선택할 수 있도록 한다. 더 나아가 제안한 프레임워크를 기반으로 사용자와 상호작용이 가능하며 자율적으로 상황을 해석할 수 있는 증강 에이전트를 개발하였다. 또한 구현한 증강 에이전트를 상호작용형 원예 체험 시스템에 적용하여 사용자로 하여금 서로 다른 설명 양식을 표현하는 에이전트를 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였다. 궁극적으로 이러한 체험을 통하여 사용자의 감정조절 능력 개발 수단으로서의 개발한 에이전트의 적용 가능성을 검토하고자 한다.

도시숲 조성 및 관리를 위한 도시숲 건전성 평가지표 선정 (Evaluation Indicators for Creation and Management of Urban Forest)

  • The importance of the green space in urban area has been increasing. There are the increasing needs of creation and sustainable management of urban forest. In order to satisfy the need, it is necessary to set indicators for sustainable urban forest. With this regard, this study is to derive the indicators for evaluation of the urban forest through literature reviews, experts opinion, and field survey. The results of the study, the indicators consist of the ecological healthiness, socio-cultural function, and scenic beauty. The ecological healthiness includes stability and naturality (e.g. area, native species, connectivity etc.). The socio-cultural function contain improvement of living environment, stable emotion, community, and environmental education. The scenic beauty includes environmental-friendly facilities, maintenance of urban forest. The indicators have high feasibility to create and manage the urban forest through evaluating urban forest in practical. This indicators are useful to guide to develop urban forest and park.

현대 패션에 나타난 디지털 테크놀로지의 감성적 구현에 관한 연구 (A study on the emotional representation of the digital technology shown in the contemporary fashion)

  • The digital technology that has brought about the information revolution acts as the causes of multi-faceted socio-cultural phenomena. The spread of the digital environment and the popularity of the digital devices accelerate the phenomenon or the fusion of culture and technology, and such a phenomenon is no exception in the fashion design. Namely, the combination of fashion design and digital-based technology draws more and more attention; Not only the technology is simply applied to the fashion design, but also it is used as an emotional tool to enhance consumers' satisfaction, while some designs and marketing cases stimulating consumers' emotion are highlighted importantly. This study was aimed at surveying and analyzing the contemporary fashion using the digital technology and thereupon, assessing the characteristics of the emotional representations of technology as well as their aesthetic values. To this end, the theory of 'science of emotion and sensibility' was applied to divide the characteristics of emotional technological expressions in the contemporary fashion into immateriality, non-boundary, multi-media and interaction, while the aesthetic values of the emotional technology immanent in the contemporary fashion were categorized into communication & participation, conceptual configuration, physical expansion and variable movement. This study analyzed uses of technology for human emotion and sensibility shown in not only collections but also communication media and exhibition spaces and thereby, suggested the direction for our fashion industry to fulfill consumers' changing needs and advance further.

한국 다문화 사회에서 한반도 통일의 가치정립의 토대에 대한 연구 -문화 개념과 정서 개념의 다문화적 접근의 가능성을 중심으로 (The Study of the Foundation of Establishing the Value of the Unification of the Korean Peninsula in Muliticultural Society of Korea -focused on a possibility of the mulitucultural conception of culture and emotion)

  • 이번 연구는 한국 다문화 사회에서 한반도 통일의 가치토대를 어떻게 확립할 것인지를 탐구하는데 주요 목적이 있다. 이번 연구의 주제는 다문화 구성원들, 특히 북한 주민들과 새터민, 외국인 노동자, 국제결혼 이주자 및 그 자녀들이 과연 한번도 통일의 가치를 공유할 수 있는지, 즉 한민족 정체성과 그것의 가치분담이다. 이를 위해 이번 연구에서는 '문화 개념의 다문화 수준별 적용'에 관한 기존의 연구논문을 활용하고, 그 한계를 밝히며, 이를 보완할 수 있는 하나의 대안으로서 '정서(emotion)'의 다문화적 적용 가능성을 제시해보고자 한다. 기존의 문화 개념의 적용의 양상은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화 개념을 '의미의 패턴'으로 간주하는 경향으로서 주로 상징과 해석에 초점을 둔다. 이는 주로 타문화를 이해하는데 유용한 방식이라고 할 수 있다. 예컨대, 국제결혼 이주민이 초기 한국 사회의 정착시기에 한국 사회를 이해하는 방식이라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 문화 개념을 지속적인 완전성을 향한 과정으로 이해하는 경향으로서, 이는 주로 자문화를 확인하는 방식이라고 할 수 있다. 예컨대, 국제결혼 이주민이 한국 사회에 정착하면서 본격적인 삶을 영위할 때 '한국인'으로서 정체성을 확인하는 방식이다. 하지만 이와 같은 기존의 연구성과를 북한 주민, 새터민, 국제결혼 이주민 가정의 자녀에게 적용했을 때에는 일정한 한계가 보인다. 첫째, 북한 주민들은 현재 북한 정권의 특성상, 다문화 사회에 대한 거부감이 크고, 단일민족주의를 이데올로기적 차원에서 이해할 가능성이 매우 크다. 즉 북한 주민들이 자문화 차원에서 민족 정체성을 강하게 확인하더라고, 매우 폐쇄적이라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 새터민의 경우에는 자문화 확인의 정도는 강하지만, 한국 사회의 정착과정에서 경험하게 되는 사회경제적 차별로 인해 자신들만의 정체성 확인에 그친다. 셋째, 국제결혼 이주민 가정의 자녀들과 그 부모들은 모두가 '한국인'이라는 정체성 수준은 매우 높았다. 다만 이주민 부모의 경우에는 자신들의 문화에 대한 정체성은 그대로 유지하고 있었다. 그러나 순혈주의의 측면에서 이들 모두에 대한 차별적 인식은 여전히 강하게 남아 있는 실정이다. 한반도 통일에 대한 가치의 토대는 다문화 구성원들 모두가 분담할 수 있는 '정체성'의 문제이다. 이를 삶의 영역에서 확인하고 전개할 수 있는 방안은 각 구성원들의 특성들을 모두 고려할 수 있을 때에만 가능하다. 기존 연구의 문화 개념을 다문화 수준별로 접근했을 때 근본적인 문제는 내면적으로 구성원들 모두가 한국 다문화 사회에서 한민족 정체성에 대한 어떤 공통된 분담을 가질 수 있는지에 대한 답을 명료하게 제시하지 못했다. 이런 점에서 다문화 사회에서 한반도 통일의 가치토대는 외면적이고 제도적인 문제라기보다는 내면적이고 정체성에 관한 문제이다. 이 문제는 결국 다문화 구성원들이 관계의 삶의 영역에서 도덕적 행위자라는 점에서 이들의 정서가 문화적으로 전개되는 과정에서 보다 세밀하게 진행되어야 할 것이다.
