임상간호사의 인성과 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Personality and Job Satisfaction of Nurses)

  • Purpose : The objective of this research is to explore the correlation between personality and degree of job-satisfaction among nursing profession in order to provide effective guide for HR management and nursing care. Method : The research has been conducted on hundred sixty four nurses working in C university hospital in Seoul, from February 23 to March 7 of 2002, through survey. For the experimental tools, I have used Young-Hwan Kim's MMPI(1988) personality test and Slavitt's job-satisfaction test(1978) which were improved by Eun-Seuk Lee(1988). The acquired data are analyzed through SPSS program using descriptive statistical method, t-test, One way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation coefficient analysis. Results : Most survey score were within normal range of personality measurement and Masculinity-Femininity scored high compare with the rest. Overall job-satisfaction score showed fairly high level of 3.01; in the order of high score, 3.43 for reciprocal action, 3.41 for job requirement, 3.20 for autonomy, 3.15 for professional status, 2.96 for doctor-nurse relationship, 2.54 for administration and 2.38 for compensation. Analysis based of social demographics showed that the degree of paranoia depends on the age, marriage, nursing experience, education, professional status and salary. Also, marriage had significant influence on the score of hysteria, psychopathic deviation, paranoia, psychasthenia, schizophrenia and masculinity-femininity. Test score showed that, based on the general characteristic of nursing profession, job-satisfaction depends on the age and professional status. The relationship between personality and job-satisfaction showed that depression score and social introversion score have statistically significant negative correlation with job-satisfaction. Conclusion : this research revealed that depression and social introversion are characteristics identified to have significant influence over job-satisfaction of nurses, among many characteristics.

중년기 기혼남녀의 가족스트레스, 사회적 지지 자원이 결혼생활만족도에 미치는 영향 (The effects of family stress and social support resources on marital satisfaction among middle-aged married men and women)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose measures for social work practice to enhance the happiness of middle-aged married men and women by identifying the effects of family stress and social support resources (formal and informal support resources) on marital satisfaction among mid-life married couples. Subjects were selected through purposive sampling among married men and women aged between 40 and 59 and living in Seoul City and Gyeonggi province. The study results are follows. First, the average score of family stress was 3.06 points (SD=.56), slightly higher than the median value of 3 points. Of all subscales of family stress, the subjects experienced the most stress from family relationships, followed by financial problems, health and loss of families, and work-family compatibility. In regard to social support resources, the mean value of all social support resources categories was greater than the median. Among the subscales, informal support (family support and support from other people) was found to be higher than formal support. The level of marital satisfaction was higher than the median, and the score was 3.21 points (SD=.78). Second, in order to explore differences in marital satisfaction according to family stress and social support, differences in marital satisfaction were analyzed by grouping subjects who scored high, middle, and low levels of marital satisfaction. According to the results, marital satisfaction was statistically significantly higher in the group that experienced less family stress (F=6.25, p<.01). With respect to social support, marital satisfaction was statistically significantly higher in the group that received high social support (F=29.68, p<.001). Third, according to the analysis of factors affecting marital satisfaction in middle-aged married men and women, subjective economic status, family relationship stress, economic stress, and family support showed statistical significance. The higher the subjective economic status and the lower the family relationship stress and economic stress levels, the higher the marital satisfaction among middle-aged married men and women. In addition, the greater the family support, the higher the marital satisfaction. The results of this study underscore the need to improve family relationships in middle-aged married couples and to distribute family life education programs that can strengthen family support resources. For example, family relationship enhancement programs are currently performed, including "Family School for Middle-Aged Baby Boomers" and others as part of the Healthy Family Support Work regarding the promotion of marital satisfaction of middle-aged couples. In addition, continuing effort is warranted to include content on strengthening family support resources, maximizing the effectiveness of programs, and promoting service accessibility.

노인의 삶의 질을 위한 건강 만족도와 관련 영향 요인 (Health Satisfaction of the Elderly for the Quality of Life and Affecting Related Variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine factors influencing the health satisfaction of the elderly. The study was conducted with 1,294 subjects during 3 months from 1st February to 30, April, 2008. The results were as follows. 1. The average score of their health satisfaction level is $2.76{\pm}1.81$ points on the basis of 5 point(54.2 points on the basis of 100 points). The health satisfaction level of the elderly was significantly associated with age, sex, marital status, monthly allowance, education level, occupation, the number of family members living together, family closeness, stress, and use of the social welfare centers. 2. As the variables affecting on the health satisfaction level, sex, age, marital status, monthly income, accupation, education level, the number of family members living together. stress levels. family closeness, ADL IADL and the use of the social welfare centers. were found, and the influence of these variables was 49.34%. The government, social service units, private health & medical organizations and experts need to pay more attention to factors influencing effective policy and health education programs for health promotion regarding the quality of life.

노인의 영성과 종교 활동이 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Spirituality and Religious Involvement on the Relationship of Health Status with Life Satisfaction and Depression of the Elderly in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 서울과 춘천에 거주하는 노인 1,409명을 대상으로 노인의 영성과 종교 활동이 생활만족도와 우울에 영향을 미치며, 동시에 노인의 건강상태가 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 감소시키는 효과가 있는지를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 선행연구에서 노인의 건강수준, 생활만족도와 우울, 영성과 종교 활동은 성별에 따라 일관되게 유의미한 차이가 나타나 성별에 따른 영향도 포함하였다. 건강상태는 만성질환의 수로 측정하였고, 생활만족도는 PGCMS를, 우울은 CES-D를 적용하였다. 영성은 IE종교성 척도를 활용하였고, 종교활동은 종교모임에 참여하는 빈도로 측정하였다. 단계별 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 노인의 영성은 생활만족도와 우울에 영향을 미치지 않으나 건강상태가 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 감소시키는 효과를 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종교 활동은 노인의 생활만족도에는 영향을 미치지 않는 반면 우울에는 영향을 미치며, 건강상태가 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 영향을 감소하는 효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 노인복지의 실천적 함의와 향후 연구를 위한 제안을 제시했다.

농촌 독거노인들의 사회적 지원과 생활만족도 (Social Support and Life Satisfaction of Living Alone elderly in Rural Area)

  • This study was conducted to identify the social support to living alone elderly in some rural communities and the level of life satisfaction. For the purpose of this study, face-to-face interviews and questionnaire were performed with 315 old people(male 43 and female 272) aged over 65 living alone in rural communities covered by 14 community health posts within Gyeongsangbuk-do Province randomly selected. The followings are summaries of findings; The average score of support from their children was $4.29{\pm}2.73$ out of 8. Variables that showed a significant difference were religion, level of living, type of medical insurance, frequency of meeting with children, time taken from houses of children by usual means of transportation, and subjective health status. It was found that the score of support from children was high for the elderly who had a religion, a good level of living, benefit from medical insurance, a high frequency of meeting with children, or a good subjective health status, or who resided close to their children's houses. The level of the support from friends and relatives showed a significant difference depending on the subjective health status, of which the average score was $4.13{\pm}2.61$ out of 8. The average score of the level of life satisfaction was $6.83{\pm}4.24$(male $7.60{\pm}4.09$ and female $6.71{\pm}4.26$) out of 17. Male elderly showed the higher level of life satisfaction than female elderly. Variables that showed a statistically significant difference in the level of life satisfaction were religion, level of living, medical insurance, hobby, children, disease, subjective health status, and ADL. That is, the level of satisfaction with life was found to be higher for the elderly who had a religion, a good level of living, benefit from medical insurance, a hobby, children, no diseases, or a good ADL, or who thought that they are healthy. The regression analysis with support from children as a dependent variable showed that the level of support from children was higher for the elderly who had a good level of living, frequency of meeting with children, or a good subjective health status. The regression analysis with the level of support from friends or relatives was higher for old people who had a good level of living. The regression analysis with the level of life satisfaction as a dependent variable showed that the factors which related to the level of satisfaction were sex, religion, level of living, hobby, ADL, and subjective health status. That is, it was found that for male elderly who had a religion, a good level of living or a hobby, or who thought that they were healthy, the level of life satisfaction was higher.

보행환경 만족과 안전인식이 주관적 건강인식에 미치는 영향 - 사회적 자본의 매개효과에 대한 집단비교를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Satisfaction and Safety Recognition of the Pedestrian Environment on the Subjective Health Status: Focused on gender difference of the intermediating effect of social capital)

  • 최근 도시정책에서는 '건강'에 대한 중요성이 크게 증가하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 급격한 도시화로 인해 발생한 환경문제로 인한 신체적 건강의 악화와 경쟁위주의 사회에서 발생하는 사회적 관계 단절로 인한 정신적 건강의 악화가 끊임없이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 공중보건분야와 도시정책 분야를 융합하여 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 서울시를 대상으로 2018년 서울서베이를 이용하여 보행환경의 만족과 보행환경 안전에 대한 인식이 사회적 자본을 매개하여 주관적 건강인식에 미치는 영향을 남성과 여성 그룹으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 구조방정식 다중집단분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 남성그룹에서는 보행환경만족도, 보행환경 안전인식이 사회적 자본에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고 보행환경 만족과 사회적 자본이 주관적 건강인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 여성 그룹에서는 보행환경 만족도는 사회적 자본에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았으며 보행환경 안전 인식만 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 보행환경 만족, 보행환경 안전인식, 사회적 자본이 모두 주관적 건강인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되어 건강한 도시 정책의 수립을 위해서는 보건, 의학 분야와 도시 계획 및 정책 분야의 융합연구의 필요성과 그룹별 차별적인 정책이 필요함을 시사한다.

요양시설의 조직구성원의 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study the impact on job satisfaction in the care facility of the empowerment of the members of the organization)

  • 최근 우리나라 의료복지 분야는 인구의 고령화, 만성질환의 증가, 교통사고, 각종 산업재해, 약물 오 남용, 의학의 발달, 국가복지재정의 악화 등 다양한 환경변화에 둘러싸여 있으며, 새로운 형태의 의료복지와 관련된 새롭고 다양한 서비스 개발의 필요성이 부각되고 있다(조만복, 2010). 국가의 경제적 수준이 높아질수록 사회복지에 대한 사회적 관심은 증가하는 추세이나 복지에 대한 국가의 역할 축소와 사회복지정책에 민간참여의 확대 등 사회복지 여건의 변화는 요양시설 사회복지사들에게 시설서비스의 효과성과 효율성 제고를 위해 다양한 새로운 지식과 기술 습득, 그리고 스스로 최고의 성과를 달성하고자 노력하는 정신자세의 정립을 요구하고 있다. 요양시설에서 서비스 제공자인 사회복지사는 시설클라이언트의 삶의 질에 직접적인 영향을 미치며 서비스의 효과성에 매우 중요한 영향을 미치게 된다. 그러나 양질의 서비스 제공이라는 중요한 책무성을 지니는 장애인 및 노인요양시설은 조직 및 직무환경에 있어서 직원개발 기회의 부족, 조직보상체계의 미흡, 조직의 폐쇄성, 직원자율성의 결여, 전문성의 부족 등의 다양한 문제를 경험하고 있다(이문휘, 2007; 신현석, 2006; 박정양, 2003; 김철용, 2009). 본 연구는 실천현장에서 요양시설조직 내에서 요양시설 사회복지사의 임파워먼트 영향요인인 직무의 특성, 조직의 특성 요인에 대한 인식과 임파워먼트 수준 그리고 직무만족도에 관해서 알아보고 이러한 변인들이 사회인구학적 특성 변인별로 차이가 있는가에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 요양시설 사회복지사의 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향력을 분석하고, 직무의 특성, 조직의 특성 그리고 임파워먼트 수준이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 연구 목적이 있다.

노년기 빈곤이 계층의식을 매개로 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 독거노인과 동거노인의 비교를 중심으로 (Poverty and Life Satisfaction of the Elderly: Mediation effect of Subjective Social Status)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 절대 및 상대빈곤 여부가 노인거주 형태별 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 주관적 계층의식의 매개효과를 종단으로 검증하고 독거 및 동거노인의 대별되는 특성을 분석하여 노인의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 개입의 단초를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국고용정보원에서 제공하는 고령화연구패널 3차~5차 데이터를 활용하여 동거노인 3,327명, 독거노인 668명을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2013년 기준 동거노인의 절대빈곤은 전체의 43.5%, 상대빈곤은 51.4%로 나타난 반면 독거노인의 경우 절대빈곤층은 전체의 63.8%, 그리고 상대빈곤층은 77.2%에 육박하여 노인빈곤의 실태가 심각한 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 동거노인의 경우 절대 및 상대 비빈곤층 일수록 삶의 만족도가 높았으며, 이는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다. 하지만 독거노인의 경우, 빈곤여부에 따른 삶의 만족도가 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 동거노인의 노년기 절대 및 상대빈곤은 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 가운데 주관적 계층의식은 매개효과를 가지나 독거노인의 경우 상대빈곤은 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 빈곤 독거노인에 대한 개입에 있어 소득빈곤뿐만 아니라 다차원적 빈곤의 관점으로 접근해야 함을 의미한다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다차원적 빈곤지표를 활용한 빈곤측정 도구 마련 등 노인의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

성별 근로자의 직업만족도와 관련요인 (Job Satisfaction Comparison Between Gender and The Influencing Factors on Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: This study were carried out to investigate the difference employment characteristics and job satisfactions by gender and to explore the influences of demographic status and employment characteristics on job satisfaction. Method: Social statistics survey data collected by Ministry of Statistics in 1998 were used for the secondary analysis in the study. Job satisfaction was measured by questionnaire which were consisted in 12 items such as task, promotion, placement, wage, benefits, future in the work, working environment, human relationship, working hours. Result: The results show that more than 50% of women were working as a part-time employees. Their education level were lower than men. Women workers were unmarried at higher percents than men. Men were showed more satisfaction significantly in their job than women. Men also had higher job satisfaction with work task, promotion, placement, and human relation. Women had shown higher job satisfaction with wage, working environment, and employer-employee relationship. Employment status had the most important factor on the job satisfaction. And, living status satisfaction, education, age, occupation, marital status, employment status and sex were significant for the job satisfaction. 33.34% of the variance in the job satisfaction were accounted for by these variables. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that there were difference of job satisfaction between gender and employment status was the most predictive factors on the job satisfaction. Women had more unstable employment status such as part-time, employment on probation, or family employer without wage than men. Stability of employment could be considered as a strategy for enhancing job satisfaction for women.

유배우 근로자의 직업만족도와 결혼만족도 (Job Satisfaction and Marital Satisfaction among married Employers)

  • Purpose: This study was carried out to investigate the difference in job satisfaction and marital satisfaction by gender and to explore the influences of demographic status. employment characteristics. and job satisfaction/marital satisfaction on each type of satisfaction. Method: Social statistics survey data collected by National Statistical Office in 1998 were used for the secondary analysis in the study. Job satisfaction was measured by questionnaires, which consisted of 12 items such as task, promotion, placement, wage, benefits, future in the work, working environment, human relationship. and working hours. And marital satisfaction was collected by questionnaires which consisted of 7 items, including satisfaction with general family life, relationship with their own parent and parent-in-law, relationship with brothers and sisters, relationship with their children, and economic living status. These are measured by 5-point Likert scale. Result: The results show that more than 60% of women were working as part-time employees. Their education levels were lower than men. Men were satisfied significantly more in their jobs than women. Men also had higher marital satisfaction. The employment status had the most important factor on the job satisfaction. and the marital satisfaction was the second important factor among women and men. As for the age, while older men showed higher job satisfaction, younger women showed higher job satisfaction, 28.04% of the variance in the job satisfaction for men and 33.86% for women were accounted for by the following variables: the younger age. the higher education. job satisfaction, and the higher marital satisfaction, 22.15% of the variance in the marital satisfaction for men and 21.19% for women were accounted for by these variables. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that there were differences in job satisfaction and marital satisfaction between genders, and that job satisfaction and marital satisfaction influenced each other. Employment status was the most predictive factor on the job satisfaction. Married women had an unstable employment status such as part-time position. The stability of employment could be considered as a strategy for enhancing job satisfaction for both sexes. The reason that women had lower marital satisfaction than men will have to be further investigated.
