Corporate social responsibility for employees is associated with employees' requirements related to the work and the organization's ability to meet such needs. The study aims to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility for workers on employee management effectiveness amongst businesses in Vietnam. Using the quantitative method, through SEM linear structural model analysis, the research surveys 619 samples of employees at businesses in Vietnam. The study results show that corporate social responsibility for workers has both a direct and indirect impact on the effectiveness of employee management through intermediary factors such as organizational identity, organizational commitment, and knowledge sharing of employees. In addition, the study also demonstrates that commitment has a positive correlation with both organizational identification and knowledge sharing of employees in the businesses. On that basis, the study proposes several recommendations to improve employee administration efficiency. This study's findings have shown the importance and impact of corporate social responsibility in many respects on employee administration efficiency. These are meaningful contributions in theoretical and practical aspects that help businesses get a more in-depth insight into employee administration and the need to care and promote corporate social responsibility for employees, which is an important basis for further research.
Purpose The study examines the impact of the level of anthropomorphism (both in appearance and behavior) of virtual humans on user liking. It investigates whether this relationship is mediated by social comparison experiences, with the moderated mediation effect of users' desire for self-improvement. Design/methodology/approach A between-groups experimental design was employed to examine the impact of different levels of appearance(low/mid/high) and behavior(low/high) anthropomorphism on user liking of virtual humans. The experiment was conducted in an online environment, and participants were randomly exposed to one of six stimuli, which were Instagram-like posts. Findings The results indicate that as virtual humans become more anthropomorphic, they have a positive impact on user liking. However, once the level of anthropomorphism in appearance reaches a certain point (mid vs high), there is no significant difference in user liking. Users who perceive virtual humans as highly anthropomorphic tend to engage in more social comparison experiences, which positively affects their liking for these virtual humans. Conversely, individuals with a high desire for self-improvement found that the positive effect of appearance anthropomorphism on liking through social comparison experiences was reduced. The study extends the application of social comparison theory by examining its impact on influencer marketing with virtual beings. It provides valuable insights for the formulation of influencer marketing strategies using virtual humans.
A new technology has provided the nation, industry, society, and people with innovative and useful functions. National economy and society has been improved through this technology innovation. Despite the benefit of technology innovation, however, since technology society was sufficiently mature, the unintended side effect and negative impact of new technology on society and human beings has been highlighted. Thus, it is important to investigate a risk of new technology for the future society. Recently, the risks of the new technology are being suggested through a large amount of social data such as news articles and report contents. These data can be used as effective sources for quantitatively and systematically forecasting social risks of new technology. In this respect, this paper aims to propose a data-driven process for forecasting and assessing social risks of future new technology using the text mining, 4M(Man, Machine, Media, and Management) framework, and analytic hierarchy process (AHP). First, social risk factors are forecasted based on social risk keywords extracted by the text mining of documents containing social risk information of new technology. Second, the social risk keywords are classified into the 4M causes to identify the degree of risk causes. Finally, the AHP is applied to assess impact of social risk factors and 4M causes based on social risk keywords. The proposed approach is helpful for technology engineers, safety managers, and policy makers to consider social risks of new technology and their impact.

Although there are several studies on the impact of pesticides use, there is no consistent conclusion about such evidence on capturing the socioeconomic independence. The propose of this paper is to investigate the economy-wide impact of pesticide use in Thailand. The research data and methodology in this paper are depended on a social accounting matrix framework incorporating the pesticide-related illness as an additional sector, following Resosudarmo and Thorbecke (1998), to explain the impact of the pesticides on the related agricultural sector, food sector, and the social welfare of different households. Thus, the main characteristics of the Thai economy can be comprehensively described by providing information contained in this framework. In this respect, the several data sets are constructed to include the economic and social structure interdependencies, which are necessary to analyze the policy implications, especially industrial policy. The results were analyzed according to the general equilibrium theory and the Leontief multiplier matrix. It reveals that the food industry and the economy are significantly affected by the pesticides. One of the most interesting findings of this paper suggest that the food sector needs to determine its output to avoid bottleneck situations and create equality across the food production system.

In recent years, the need for social ventures that aim to grow while solving social problems through the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial organizations in the market has increased, while there is a limit to how much the government and the public can do to solve social problems. Against this background, the number of social venture startups is increasing in the domestic startup ecosystem, and interest in impact investors, which are investors in social ventures, is also increasing. Therefore, this research utilized judgment analysis technology to objectively analyze the validity and weight of judgment information based on the cognitive process and decision-making environment in the investment decision-making of impact investors. We proceeded with the research by constructing three classifications; first, investment priorities at the initial investment stage for financial benefit and return on investment as an investor, second, the political skills of the entrepreneurs (teams) for the social impact and ripple power, and social venture coexistence and solidarity, third, the social mission of a social venture that meets the purpose of an impact investment fund. As a result of this research, first of all, the investment decision-making priorities of impact investors are the expertise of the entrepreneur (team), the potential rate of return when the entrepreneur (team) succeeds, and the social mission of the entrepreneur (team). Second, impact investors do not have a uniform understanding of the investment decision-making factors, and the factors that determine investment decisions are different, and there are differences in the degree of the weighting. Third, among the various investment decision-making factors of impact investment, "entrepreneur's (team's) networking ability", "entrepreneur's (team's) social insight", "entrepreneur's (team's) interpersonal influence" was relatively lower than the other four factors. The practical contribution through this research is to help social ventures understand the investment determinant factors of impact investors in the process of financing, and impact investors can be expected to improve the quality of investment decision-making by referring to the judgment cases and analysis of impact investors. The academic contribution is that it empirically investigated the investment priorities and weighting differences of impact investors.

Many real networks exhibit overlapping community structures. Recent studies have been performed that analyze the impact of overlapping community structure on information propagation, but few of them concerned with individual behaviors. From this point of view, we propose a Markov process model to evaluate the performance of information propagation in social networks with overlapping community structures. In addition, many individual social behaviors are combined in the model. For example, individuals may exhibit selfish behaviors, such as individual and social selfishness, and people may discard the information after they have used it. The accuracy of the model is verified by simulation. Furthermore, the numerical results show that both overlapping community structure of the network and individual behaviors have a significant impact on the outbreak size and propagation speed of the information. Additionally, the overlapping community structure of the social network can reduce the impact of selfishness on information propagation.
The rapid growth of economic transactions generated by live streaming broadcasts ("LSB") has created opportunities for retailers to increase sales. However, little is known about what impact LSB celebrities have on customers and what causes LSB celebrities to become famous. This study aimed to fill this gap by studying the economics of LSBs. This study was conducted through a para-social relationship and attractiveness theory framework. Consequently, social and task attraction were assumed to be the antecedents of the para-social relationship that induced purchase intention. This study examined the impact of relationship rewards, self-disclosure, affective interactivity, informative interactivity, and the amount of information provided on purchase intentions through LSB. Celebrities can use the results of this study to enhance their appeal to fans and promote customers' purchase on e-commerce. This study contributed to the IS field by investigate the impact of para-social relationship on the online shopping context.

This is an era in which companies should realize sustainable management through business models that propose social values beyond financial benefits and solve social problems. Accordingly, the role of corporate designers should be extended to social value propositions and materializations, including corporate profit-seeking. Among the members and organizations of the company, design organization and designers have strengths in terms of humanities and creativity compared to other organizations and members. We should actively seek opportunities for corporate designers to find the context of connecting businesses and society on their own, actively seek opportunities to integrate them with corporate design, expand the role of corporate designers through creative ideas, and actively pursue sustainable and wide social career development that encompasses both inside and outside of the company. To this end, we suggested three transitions of thougths to change the perception of fixed and straight-line forms of enterprise organization, enterprise design approach and product development process so far to present useful insights through case studies, how enterprise designers can accommodate social impact through new communication and access.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine whether social value-related expenditures can be recognized as intangible assets in financial statements. Design/methodology/approach - This study examined social values defined in the economic and management fields and analyzed whether the social values have the characteristics of intangible assets. For this, the general definition of social value was derived from the concept of social value covered in previous studies. Next, we reviewed the definitions and recognition requirements for intangible assets under the current accounting standards. Based on this, we tried to suggest new criteria and disclosure methods for reporting social value-related expenditures that are not currently reported in financial statements as intangible assets in the financial statements and notes. Findings - First, as a criterion for recognizing social value-related expenditure as an intangible asset, we propose a relationship between social value-related expenditure and enterprise value. Where social value-related expenditures have a statistically significant positive impact on corporate value, they are recognized as intangible assets. If social value-related expenditures have a statistically significant negative influence on business value, or the impact of social value-related expenditures on the enterprise value is not statistically significant, it is not recognized as asset. Second, new disclosure plans are proposed according to the combination of intangible assets by category and the relevance of enterprise value. After dividing social value-related expenditures into separate intangible asset categories, if social value-related expenditures have a statistically significant positive impact on corporate value, they are recognized as intangible assets in the financial statements. If expenditures have a statistically significant negative impact on business value, they should be recorded as essential notes. Finally, if the impact of social value-related expenditure on corporate value is not statistically significant, it should be listed as a supplement. Research implications or Originality - This study contributes to the concurrent research in that it is a priori study on whether social value-related expenditure can be recognized as an asset. This study suggests that the economic effect of social expenditure can be recognized in corporate financial statements, thereby providing companies with justification and effectiveness of social value-related expenditure.

This study proposes the requirements for students in colleges majoring in fashion at two-year colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do to perform behaviors in preparation for a further career more effectively by identifying the impact of social support on the career decision-making self-efficacy, and behaviors preparing a further career. The results of this study are described below. In accordance with the analysis on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and behaviors preparing a further career, and the social support, the social support had a positive impact on the career decision-making self-efficacy and a negative impact on the behaviors preparing a further career. Moreover, the career decision-making self-efficacy had a positive impact on the behaviors preparing a further career. In accordance with the analysis, social support from family members or relevant third parties is required for improving the behavior of students majoring fashion in colleges to prepare a further career. To this end, the quantity or scope of social support is not the main issue, but the meticulous approach to fit each student's need for making students recognize such social support. It is important for students in colleges to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy by accurately identifying their abilities, values or desires.
