Recently, women's social activities in our society have been greatly increased and legal system and mechanism of social structure to pursue a society where gender equality shall be realized has been discussed lively in a detail manner. Nevertheless, the rate of social advancement of Korean women shows much lower than that of the western industrialized countries. The aim of this study is to examine such problem and to look for a solution thereof. As the subject for this survey, such social welfare facility as women's hall was selected, and then its state of facilities was investigated. The results from this survey revealed that women's hall, which had been started constructing since 1950s, began to spread out nationwide reaching the 1990s, and that women's hall was greatly used as a major public facility that supports women's social activities in each region, and that women's hall, which had been started as a social welfare facility, was a multifunctional facility performing functions such as welfare, education, culture and community, and that educational function among these had been changed a little by little in the aspect of contents and purpose according to the changes of times, however, education for women was treated as a major important function in the women's hall and operated accordingly.
To make provision for the super-aged society, the senior welfare facility which is a kind of typical physical environment of the nursing service would be expected to perform a very important role in local community. This study was conducted to identify the constructs of the servicescapes of senior welfare facility and to draw analysis indicators of it. For this, we performed literature review based on domestic & foreign government guide, service marketing theory and interior architectural results concerning the physical environment of the senior welfare facility. The result of this study showed as follows: servicescapes of the senior welfare facility could be explained as "a whole set of physical environment to support a variety of services provided by the senior welfare facility for the elderly or services of the kind of tangible clues". Analysis indicators of the senior welfare facility's servicescape could be explained as five factors: safety factor, functional factor, aesthetic factor, ambient factor and social factor. In addition we developed 37 pieces of detailed factors referred to five factors. The evaluation and verification of analysis indicators was carried out through 8 experts in-depth interviews. We inspected importance factor using a 5-point Likert scale, therefore safety factor was 4.41, functional factor was 4.27, aesthetic factor was 3.66, ambient factor was 4.20 and social factor was 4.25. More than anything else, in this study, there is a sense that it has established the concept of servicescape adapted to the senior welfare facility and contained a social element between the employees and the physical environment. Theoretical and practical implications of findings are discussed, and future research directions are proposed. we expect to be a little or benefits to the senior welfare facility corresponding to the future of the super-aged society.

Social welfare facilities are used by a wide range of local residents, including vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and people with disabilities. During emergencies like fires, confusion can arise as these individuals try to evacuate. Evacuation simulation results have shown that utilizing evacuation systems based on specific evacuation scenarios can significantly decrease the time required for evacuation compared to general evacuation procedures. By anticipating potential fires based on changes in social and facility environments, appropriate evacuation scenarios can be developed and applied to evacuation systems, thus contributing to the safety and security of individuals during emergencies. In conclusion, for social welfare facilities that serve a large number of people, it is necessary to expand the focus on performance-based design depending on the size of the facility, and to continuously develop and train for appropriate evacuation scenarios that align with changing facility environments.
At a time of growing importance of safety management in the social welfare facility by the increase of social welfare facilities, this study analysed safety perceptions about facility management, facility conditions, and facility structure and arrangement. This study sample consisted of 204 service providers and service users in 12 social welfare facilities. T-test and ANOVA were used to find the group differences among facility types. The findings were as follows. Firstly, safety perceptions of the service providers were significantly higher than those of service users in terms of facility management, and facility structure and arrangement. Secondly, in terms of facility types, the respondents in the family service center had lower safety perceptions than the respondents in other service in all three areas. Thirdly, facilities that are of 10 years or older had higher safety perceptions than the respondents of facilities that are 6 to 10 years old in the area of facility management, and facility structure and arrangement. Fourthly, in regard to building heights, the respondents in 3 to 4 story facilities had statistically higher safety perceptions than respondents in 1 story facilities. Finally, looking at the relationship between floor area and safety perceptions, safety perceptions of the respondents of less than $400m^2$ facilities or $600m^2$ and more facilities were significantly higher than those of $400m^2{\sim}$ less than $600m^2$ facilities.

Recently the change of social environment has influence on the living of human for the complexity and the variety. And so the relation of architecture and function required the complex space. The government tried to complex the service for healthcare and social welfare by the exhibition model for health and welfare center. This article is aiming at finding the character of social welfare corporations and at finding whether the outside director system is constitutional or not. These two issues are closely interrelated with each other. After examining critically existing studies and precedents that have seen the character of social welfare corporations as public sector or private sector, the present study suggests the dualism that divides social welfare corporations into facility corporations and support corporations and that finds the character of facility corporations and support corporations respectively. According to the dualism, even if outside director system for the facility corporations restricts the right to manage the corporations the system is seen as being constitutional because the corporations are more likely to be public sector so that the principle of private autonomy would not be applied to them. While outside director system for the support corporations is seen as being unconstitutional because the corporations are more likely to be private sector so that the principle of private autonomy would be applied to them. So, this article suggests the amendment of Social Welfare Service Act through which the different character of the facility corporations and support corporations can be respected and the diversity of social welfare corporations and social welfare services can be realized.
