The Difference of the Purchase Intention of Social Shopping by Connection Intensity and Centrality of Social Network -In the Case of Online Community and SNS- (소셜네트워크 연결밀도와 중심성에 따른 소셜쇼핑 구매의도의 차이 -온라인커뮤니티와 SNS를 중심으로-)

  • This study conducts to examine the effect of purchase intention on social shopping by connection density and centrality which is a structural characteristic of social network. Furthermore, this study suggests and analyses the difference of social shopping purchase intention between online community which focuses on a group and SNS(social network service) which focuses on an individual. To examine these reason, this study proposes hypotheses that reflects structural characteristic then analyses them. The result of analysis shows that the purchase intention on social shopping seems to be high when the density of connection is high and the purchase intention seems to be high when the centrality is high as well. Moreover, there is difference in the purchase intention on social shopping between online community and SNS and it is found that both cases where the connection density is high in the online community and the connection centrality is high in SNS have significant impact on the purchase intention. Based on these results, this study provides an implication on the importance on network structure in social network and social shopping and to increase the purchase intention of social shopping, this study suggests the implication on the importance and direction which understands the structure of social network type.

Senior' Use of Text Messages and SNS and Contact with Informal Social Network Members (노인의 문자메시지 및 SNS 활용역량과 비공식적 사회관계망과의 접촉에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the associations of Korean older adults' use of Social Network Service (SNS) and text messages with frequency of contact with 1) non-coresident adult children, 2) siblings and relatives, or 3) friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. Data were drawn from the 2017 Survey of Living Conditions and Welfare Needs of Korean Older Persons 65+ (N=8,392), and older adults were categorized into 4 groups depending on their familiarity with use of SNS and text messages. Ordinary Least Squares regression models were estimated for analyses. Results revealed that older users of both types of communication media reported frequent exchanges of calls, text messages, etc. with both family and friends. However, using SNS and text messages was consistently related to more face-to-face contact with non-family members. To conclude, older adults' familiarity with communication media could be key to exchanges of emotional and instrumental support with informal social network members and quality of life in the community. Overall, our results highlight the importance of information communication education targeting older adults for continued involvement with their informal social network members.

  • According to many smart devices are development, SNS(Social Network Service) users are getting higher that is possible for real-time communicating, information sharing without limitations in distance and space. Nowadays, SNS users that based on communication and relationships, are getting uses SNS for information sharing. In this paper, we used the SNS posts for users to extract the category and information provider, how to following of recommend method. Particularly, this paper focuses on classifying the words in the text of the posts and measures the frequency using Inception-v3 model, which is one of the machine learning technique -CNN(Convolutional Neural Network) we classified image word. By classifying the category of a word in a text and image, that based on DMOZ to build the information provider DB. Comparing user categories classified in categories and posts from information provider DB. If the category is matched by measuring the degree of similarity to the information providers is classified in the category, we suggest that how to recommend method of the most similar information providers account.

  • With the rapid development of Social Network Service and with the diversification of user needs, new types of image-based SNS have emerged. Image-based SNS provides customized service to meet users' specified contents needs that have yet to be satisfied in conventional relation-based SNS like Facebook, leading the trend of service diversification. Unlike text-based SNS that has inconvenient view on a small mobile screen, image-based SNS provides the communication way focused on simple text message and image, and thus the main users of the image-based SNS are young people in their 20s who get accustomed to images, rather than text messages. Accordingly, the functions and roles of SNS UI have varied, and usability has been more important. With the users in their 20s who use image-based SNS, this study tried to look into the usability of the image-based SNS. To do that, heuristic evaluation method was applied to find UI problems. The main factors constituting usability were extracted, and user evaluation method was redesigned. Aside from the satisfaction measurement, this study conducted and analyzed a questionnaire survey with users in their 20s who used actual image-based SNS. This study analyzed usability factors that influenced of image-based SNS users. The analysis results are considered to be used as a fundamental material to improve usability in the process of developing social media service.

  • Social network services, it has attracted a lot of popularity that it us to allow the formation of past human network has been thought possible only in the main offline also on-line and mobile. However, by a variety of SNS with a recent other features it appeared a lot, the user, rather than stick to one SNS use only, if necessary, to join simultaneously two or more kinds of SNS status it is. By problem of invasion of privacy in recent SNS is a problem of, the user, in many cases that I have to worry about whether or not to leave the mainly use SNS. This study focused on these aspects and trying to figure out whether changing the SNS people to why use. Therefore, it is possible to obtain two factor theory is trying to figure out the psychology of users feel satisfaction SNS use and unsatisfactory at the same time as the significant result.

  • With a focus on Facebook, the most popular social network service (SNS), this research tried to find out which type of motivation makes users to spend more time on the SNS and in the same vein, which type of motivation makes users to believe that they will continue to use the SNS. The result shows that the need for play (entertaining) and image as social reputation affect the current amount of use, while the needs for information search, building relationship, and entertainment would make them continue to use.

  • For tourism, Information Technology (IT) is the one of the most important factors, therefore, tourism has been open to IT. Through internet, the sources of information became extensive. Smartphone and Social Network Service (SNS) make huge changes in tourism. In line with this, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is developing the smart tourism system, composed of internet, smartphone, SNS, as representative of Korea tourism. In this research, KTO's main channels, internet, smartphone, SNS, of smart tourism system will be analyzed as well as the connectivity between the channels.

  • SNS(Social Network Service)를 사용하는 인구가 급증함으로 인해 개인의 생각이나 많은 자료들을 SNS 공간을 통해 공유함으로써 많은 문제들도 같이 발생하고 있는 추세이다. 대부분의 SNS는 자신의 공간에 게재된 정보에 대한 접근권한 만을 설정할 수 있고 자신이 타인의 공간에 게재한 게시물에 대해서는 접근 권한 설정에 대한 자격을 부여하지 않는다. 이를 통해 원치 않은 사용자들에게까지 자신의 개인 정보가 노출되는데, 이는 SNS 안에서의 문제만이 아니라 2차적인 문제도 만들어 낼 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 SNS 환경에서의 프라이버시 보호를 위한 태그 정보 접근 방법을 제안한다. 본 제안사항은 사용자의 태그정보에 대한 접근권한 설정을 통해 원치 않는 사용자가 2차적인 문제를 발생하지 않도록 제어할 수 있다.

An Study of Operational Strategy for Special Libraries on Social Network Service (SNS) (전문도서관의 소셜네트워크서비스 운영방안 연구 - 해양과학도서관 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • This study proposes a customized SNS operational strategy for special libraries based on a case study on the Ocean Science Library (OSL) of South Korea. The study conducted an in-depth analysis on an organizational structure, manpower, contents, and promotion. The outcome of SNS operational strategy deducted from this study can be categorized into several items, including: (1) a selection of an appropriate SNS channel, which meets the objective of the operation; (2) a formal division of works for SNS operation; (3) a designation of full-time managers and an establishment of a task force team; (4) a specialization of contents according to specific subjects; (5) on/off-line promotions focused on events, which encourage participations; (6) an improvement of contents through regular log analyses; and (7) a promotion of library website access through SNS, and so on. This research also suggested the strategies for the development of SNS operation: strengthening of communication and cooperation among librarians; distribution of academic and research outcomes of the umbrella organization; enhancement of a role as a communication channel between librarians and users, and carry out a role as a 'social curator.'
